The concepts of solvable and nilpotent Leibniz n-algebra are introduced, and classical results of solvable and nilpotent Lie algebras theory are extended to Leibniz n-algebras category. A homological criterion similar to Stallings Theorem for Lie algebras is obtained in Leibniz n-algebras category by means of the homology with trivial coefficients of Leibniz n-algebras.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the derivations of filiform Leibniz algebras. Recall that the set of filiform Leibniz algebras of fixed dimension is decomposed into three non-intersected families. We found sufficient conditions under which filiform Leibniz algebras of the first family are characteristically nilpotent. Moreover, for the first family we classify non-characteristically nilpotent algebras by means of Catalan numbers. In addition, for the rest two families of filiform Leibniz algebras we describe non-characteristically nilpotent algebras, i.e., those filiform Leibniz algebras which lie in the complementary set to those characteristically nilpotent.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Let F m (N) be the free left nilpotent (of class two) Leibniz algebra of finite rank m, with m ≥ 2. We show that F m (N) has non-tame automorphisms and, for m ≥ 3, the automorphism group of F m (N) is generated by the tame automorphisms and one more non-tame IA-automorphism. Let F(N) be the free left nilpotent Leibniz algebra of rank greater than 1 and let G be an arbitrary non-trivial finite subgroup of the automorphism group of F(N). We prove that the fixed point subalgebra F(N) G is not finitely generated.  相似文献

Some properties of the second homology and cover of Leibniz algebras are established. By constructing a stem cover, the second Leibniz homology and cover of abelian, Heisenberg Lie algebras and cyclic Leibniz algebras are described. In this article, we introduce the notions of restricted Lie 2-algebras and crossed modules of restricted Lie algebras, and give a series of examples of restricted Lie 2-algebras. We also construct restricted Lie 2-algebras from A(m)-algebras, restricted Leibniz algebras, restricted right-symmetric algebras. Finally, we prove that there is a one-to-one correspondence between strict restricted Lie 2-algebras and crossed modules of restricted Lie algebras.  相似文献

W. A. Moens proved that a Lie algebra is nilpotent if and only if it admits an invertible Leibniz-derivation. In this paper, using the definition of a Leibniz-derivation from Moens (2010), we show that a similar result for non-Lie Leibniz algebras is not true. Namely, we give an example of non-nilpotent Leibniz algebra that admits an invertible Leibniz-derivation. In order to extend the results of the paper by Moens (2010) for Leibniz algebras, we introduce a definition of a Leibniz-derivation of Leibniz algebras that agrees with Leibniz-derivation of the Lie algebra case. Further, we prove that a Leibniz algebra is nilpotent if and only if it admits an invertible Leibniz-derivation of Definition 3.4. Moreover, the result that a solvable radical of a Lie algebra is invariant with respect to a Leibniz-derivation was extended to the case of Leibniz algebras.  相似文献
