In this article, a fuzzy adaptive control scheme is designed to achieve a function vector synchronization behavior between two identical or different chaotic (or hyperchaotic) systems in the presence of unknown dynamic disturbances and input nonlinearities (dead‐zone and sector nonlinearities). This proposed synchronization scheme can be considered as a generalization of many existing projective synchronization schemes (namely the function projective synchronization, the modified projective synchronization, generalized projective synchronization, and so forth) in the sense that the master and slave outputs are assumed to be some general function vectors. To practically deal with the input nonlinearities, the adaptive fuzzy control system is designed in a variable‐structure framework. The fuzzy systems are used to appropriately approximate the uncertain nonlinear functions. A Lyapunov approach is used to prove the boundedness of all signals of the closed‐loop control system as well as the exponential convergence of the corresponding synchronization errors to an adjustable region. The synchronization between two identical systems (chaotic satellite systems) and two different systems (chaotic Chen and Lü systems) are taken as two illustrative examples to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, a hybrid control based on pulse width modulator (PWM) is proposed to synchronize a class of master–slave chaotic systems with uncertainties. We use the Genetic Algorithm (GA) together with fuzzy logic to tune the switching time of PWM mode controller such that the output response of master–slave chaotic system can be synchronized. Finally, an example, uncertain master–slave Duffing–Holmes chaos system, is proposed to show the proposed method’s effectiveness for chaotic synchronization.  相似文献

This paper presents a model reference adaptive control approach for the synchronization of a discrete-time chaotic systems using output tracking control. The reference model system is chosen using the output of master system and Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy model is employed to represent the discrete-time chaotic slave system. Design the control input so that the controlled slave system achieves asymptotic synchronization with the reference system given that two systems start from different initial conditions, different parameters and/or different type of model. Using a gradient algorithm, the ideal controller gains which can stabilize the error equation are estimated. Simulation examples of two cases are given to demonstrate the validity of our proposed adaptive method.  相似文献

This study is concerned with the identical synchronization problem for a class of chaotic systems. A dynamic compensator is proposed to achieve the synchronization between master and slave chaotic systems using only the accessible output variables. A sufficient condition is also proposed to ensure the global synchronization. Furthermore, the strictly positive real (SPR) restriction, which is normally required in most of the observer-based synchronization schemes, is released in our approach. Two numerical examples are included to illustrate the proposed scheme.  相似文献

This paper presents an adaptive neural network (NN) based sliding mode control for unidirectional synchronization of Hindmarsh–Rose (HR) neurons in a master–slave configuration. We first give the dynamics of single HR neuron which may exhibit spike-burst chaotic behaviors. Then we formulate the problem of unidirectional synchronization control of two HR neurons and propose a NN based sliding mode controller. The controller consists of two simple radial basis function (RBF) NNs which are used to approximate the desired sliding mode controller and the uncertain nonlinear part of the error dynamical system, respectively. The control scheme is robust to the uncertainties such as approximate errors, ionic channel noise and external disturbances. The simulation results demonstrate the validity of the proposed control method.  相似文献

This paper deals with the adaptive synchronization of two identical hyperchaotic master and slave systems. The master system and the slave system each consists of two subsystems: a hyperchaotic Chen subsystem and a unified chaotic subsystem. The asymptotic convergence of the errors between the states of the master system and the states of the slave system is proven using Lyapunov theory. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the ability of the control law to synchronize the master and slave systems. Moreover, the proposed control scheme is applied to encrypt and decrypt discrete signals such as digital images where computer simulation results are provided to show that the proposed control law works well.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive control scheme is proposed for the synchronization of two single-degree-of-freedom oscillators with unknown parameters. We only assume that the master system has the bounded solutions, which is generally satisfied for chaotic systems. Unlike the existing literature, the boundedness of the states of the slave system with control input is not necessarily known in advance. The boundedness of the controlled states is rigorously proved. The unknown parameters not only in the slave system but also in the master system are estimated by designing adaptive laws. By choosing appropriate Lyapunov function and employing Barbalat’s lemma, it is theoretically shown that the synchronization errors can converge to zero asymptotically. Finally, two illustrative examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive control design.  相似文献

This paper proposes an alternative robust adaptive high-gain fuzzy observer design scheme and its application to synchronization and secure communication of chaotic systems. It is assumed that their states are immeasurable and their parameters are unknown. The structure of the proposed observer is represented by Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy model and has the integrator of the estimation error. It improves the performance of high-gain observer and makes the proposed observer robust against noisy measurements, uncertainties and parameter perturbations as well. Using Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive law is derived to estimate the unknown parameters and the stability of the proposed observer is analyzed. Some simulation result of synchronization and secure communication of chaotic systems is given to present the validity of theoretical derivations and the performance of the proposed observer as an application.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust adaptive sliding mode controller (RASMC) is introduced to synchronize two different chaotic systems in the presence of unknown bounded uncertainties and external disturbances. The structure of the master and slave chaotic systems has no restrictive assumption. Appropriate adaptation laws are derived to tackle the uncertainties and external disturbances. Based on the adaptation laws and Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive sliding control law is designed to ensure the occurrence of the sliding motion even when both master and slave systems are perturbed with unknown uncertainties and external disturbances. Since the conventional sliding mode controllers contain the sign function, the undesirable chattering is occurred. We propose a new simple adaptive scheme to eliminate the chattering. Finally, numerical simulations are presented to verify the usefulness and applicability of the proposed control strategy.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the master–slave synchronization problem of chaotic Lur’e systems. It is assumed that only quantized sampled measurements are available for the controller. By modeling the synchronization error system as an input-delay system and constructing a new Lyapunov functional, a new sufficient condition and feedback controller design method for global exponential asymptotical synchronization of master and slave system are obtained. The proposed approach has taken the feature of sample-induced delay into consideration and simulation results show the less conservativeness.  相似文献

This paper addresses the modified function projective lag synchronization (MFPLS) for a class of chaotic systems with unknown external disturbances. The disturbances are supposed to be generated by the exogenous systems. By using the disturbance-observer-based control and the linear matrix inequality approach, the disturbance observers are developed to ensure the boundedness of the disturbance error dynamics. Then by employing the sliding mode control (SMC) technique, an active SMC law is established to guarantee the disturbance rejection and realize MFPLS between the master and slave systems. And the corresponding numerical simulation is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper presents an adaptive feedback control scheme for the synchronization of the chaotic system consisting of Van der Pol oscillators coupled to linear oscillators with cubic term when the parameters of the master system are unknown and different with the those of the slave system. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive control law is derived to make the states of two slightly mismatched chaotic systems asymptotically synchronized. This method is efficient and easy to implement. Numerical simulations results confirming the analytical predictions are shown and pspice simulations are also performed to confirm the efficiency of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

The unified chaotic system incorporates the behaviors of the Lorenz, the Chen and the Lü chaotic systems. This paper deals with the synchronization of two identical unified chaotic systems where the slave system is assumed to have a single input. A sliding mode controller is proposed to synchronize the two systems. The asymptotic convergence to zero of the errors between the states of the master and the slave systems is shown. Simulations results are presented to illustrate the proposed controller; they indicate that the designed controller is able to synchronize the unified chaotic systems. Also, simulation results show that the proposed control scheme is robust to random bounded disturbances acting on the master system. Moreover, the proposed scheme is applied to the secure communications field, where simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme is effective.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive algorithm is proposed for synchronization of chaotic systems with different orders. A modular adaptive control strategy is applied to make states of the slave system track those of the master, despite the unknown parameters. One of the most advantages of the modularity approach, which is applied for the first time in chaos synchronization, is its flexibility in choosing identification and control modules and designing them completely independently. In this paper, a modified recursive least square algorithm is used to identify the unknown parameters of the slave system, and the control module is designed by means of two different algorithms. First it is designed based on active control method, and then, in order to synchronize with a lower energy, we design an optimal controller. The two methods are applied on a practical case study, and the results are compared. Two different dimensional neuron models, the HR neuron model and the cable model of cylindrical cell, are considered as the master and slave systems, respectively. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

We consider the coupling of two uncertain dynamical systems with different orders using an adaptive feedback linearization controller to achieve reduced-order synchronization between the two systems. Reduced-order synchronization is the problem of synchronization of a slave system with projection of a master system. The synchronization scheme is an exponential linearizing-like controller and a state/uncertainty estimator. As an illustrative example, we show that the dynamical evolution of a second-order driven oscillator can be synchronized with the canonical projection of a fourth-order chaotic system. Simulation results indicated that the proposed control scheme can significantly improve the synchronousness performance. These promising results justify the usefulness of the proposed output feedback controller in the application of secure communication.  相似文献

In this paper, a robust adaptive sliding mode controller (RASMC) is proposed to realize chaos synchronization between two different chaotic systems with uncertainties, external disturbances and fully unknown parameters. It is assumed that both master and slave chaotic systems are perturbed by uncertainties, external disturbances and unknown parameters. The bounds of the uncertainties and external disturbances are assumed to be unknown in advance. Suitable update laws are designed to tackle the uncertainties, external disturbances and unknown parameters. For constructing the RASMC a simple sliding surface is first designed. Then, the RASMC is derived to guarantee the occurrence of the sliding motion. The robustness and stability of the proposed RASMC is proved using Lyapunov stability theory. Finally, the introduced RASMC is applied to achieve chaos synchronization between three different pairs of the chaotic systems (Lorenz–Chen, Chen–Lorenz, and Liu–Lorenz) in the presence of the uncertainties, external disturbances and unknown parameters. Some numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the robustness and efficiency of the proposed RASMC.  相似文献

In this paper, a secure communication scheme based on chaotic modulation is proposed using a reversible process and a robust controller with efficient cost and complexity to synchronize two different chaotic systems. In the controller design, a sliding mode control with an adaptive rule is used for non-linear inputs. The adaptive rule is applied to ensure the synchronization when uncertainties, non-modeled dynamics or external distortions are at work. The message signal is recovered at the receiver using a recursive process at the end. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is confirmed via the simulation results for the synchronization of the transmitted signal modulated by Chen chaotic system at the transmitter and Genesio chaotic system at the receiver, and those for the information recovery process.  相似文献

This paper investigates the synchronization of coupled unified chaotic systems via active control. The synchronization is given in the slave–master scheme and the controller ensures that the states of the controlled chaotic slave system exponentially synchronize with the state of the master system. Numerical simulations are provided for illustration and verification of the proposed method.  相似文献

Due to the unpredictability of the scaling factor of projective synchronization in coupled partially linear systems, it is hard to know for sure the terminal state of the synchronized dynamics. In this paper, a simple adaptive linear feedback control method is proposed for controlling the scaling factor onto a desired value, based on the invariance principle of differential equations. Firstly, we prove the synchronizability of the proposed simple adaptive projective synchronization control method from the viewpoint of mathematics. Then, two numerical examples are presented to illustrate the applications of the derived results. Finally, we propose a communication scheme based on the adaptive projective synchronization of the Lorenz chaotic system. Numerical simulation shows its feasibility.  相似文献
