给出了计算二重积分的Simpson公式与两点高斯公式的对偶公式的构造过程,得到与之对应的高精度对偶修正解,提高了二重数值积分公式的计算精度,同时给出了二重积分的一种估值方法.最后,应用于几个典型的数值算例,计算结果表明:对偶修正解比对应的数值积分公式及其对偶公式的解有更高的计算精度和更快的收敛速度.  相似文献

In this paper, the linear nonhomogeneous integral equation of H-functions is considered to find a new form of H-function as its solution. The Wiener-Hopf technique is used to express a known function into two functions with different zones of analyticity. The linear nonhomogeneous integral equation is thereafter expressed into two different sets of functions having the different zones of regularity. The modified form of Liouville's theorem is thereafter used, Cauchy's integral formulae are used to determine functional representation over the cut region in a complex plane. The new form of H-function is derived both for conservative and nonconservative cases. The existence of solution of linear nonhomogeneous integral equations and its uniqueness are shown. For numerical calculation of this new H-function, a set of useful formulae are derived both for conservative and nonconservative cases.  相似文献

The non-uniquely solvable Radon boundary integral equation for the two-dimensional Stokes-Dirichlet problem on a non-smooth domain is transformed into a well posed one by a suitable compact perturbation of the velocity double-layer potential operator. The solution to the modified equation is decomposed into a regular part and a finite linear combination of intrinsic singular functions whose coefficients are computed from explicit formulae. Using these formulae, the classical collocation method, defined by continuous piecewise linear vector-valued basis functions, which converges slowly because of the lack of regularity of the solution, is improved into a collocation dual singular function method with optimal rates of convergence for the solution and for the coefficients of singularities.  相似文献

Wave structure interaction problems in a three-layer fluid having an elastic plate covered free surface are studied in a three-dimensional fluid domain in both the cases of finite and infinite water depths. Wave characteristics are analyzed from the dispersion relation of the associated wave motion, and approximate results are derived in both the cases of deep water and shallow water waves. Further, the expansion formulae and the associated orthogonal mode-coupling relations are derived for the velocity potentials for the wave structure interaction problems in channels of finite and infinite depths. The utility of the expansion formulae is demonstrated by (1) deriving the source potentials associated with the wave structure interaction problems in a three-layer fluid medium of finite and infinite water depths and (2) analyzing the wave scattering by a partially frozen crack in a floating ice sheet in the three-layer fluid medium in a three-dimensional channel of finite water depth. Various results derived can be used to deal with acoustic wave interaction with flexible structures and other wave structure interaction problems of similar nature arising in different branches of physics and engineering.  相似文献

Various methods of approximating the eigenvalues and invariant subspaces of nonself-adjoint differential and integral operators are unified in a general theory. Error bounds are given, from which most of the error bounds in the literature can be derived. Computable error bounds are given for simple eigenvalues, and trace formulae are used to improve the accuracy of the computed eigenvalues.  相似文献

The propagation of surface water waves in a frictional channel with a uniformly inclined bed is governed by a two-dimensional shallow river model. In this paper, we consider the time-asymptotic stability of weak planar travelling waves for a two-dimensional shallow river model with Darcy's law. We derive an effective parabolic equation to analyze the wave front motion. By employing weighted energy estimates, we show that weak planar travelling waves are time-asymptotically stable under sufficiently small perturbations.  相似文献

In this paper we study weighted spherical semidesigns, i.e., systems of points on a sphere of a specific type. We propose a new proof of the necessary and sufficient condition for a system of points on a sphere to be a weighted spherical semidesign. This criterion gives new approaches to the construction of cubature formulae for calculating integrals over a sphere with the degree of accuracy of 5 and 9.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the expected value of a discounted penalty function at ruin of the classical surplus process modified by the inclusion of interest on the surplus. The ‘penalty’ is simply a function of the surplus immediately prior to ruin and the deficit at ruin. An integral equation for the expected value is derived, while the exact solution is given when the initial surplus is zero. Dickson’s [Insurance: Mathematics and Economics 11 (1992) 191] formulae for the distribution of the surplus immediately prior to ruin in the classical surplus process are generalised to our modified surplus process.  相似文献

针对二维浅水波方程数值求解问题,构造了一种旋转通量混合格式.空间方向上,该算法利用浅水波方程通量函数的旋转不变性,在单元界面法线方向及单元界面切线方向上采用可消除红斑现象的HLL与满足热力学第二定律的熵稳定加权混合数值通量函数,时间方向上采用三阶强稳定Runge-Kutta法.数值结果表明,该混合格式对于二维浅水波方程数值求解具有分辨率高的良好特性.  相似文献

The weighted Selberg integral is a discrete mean-square that generalizes the classical Selberg integral of primes to an arithmetic function f, whose values in a short interval are suitably attached to a weight function. We give conditions on f and select a particular class of weights in order to investigate non-trivial bounds of weighted Selberg integrals of both f and f * μ. In particular, we discuss the cases of the symmetry integral and the modified Selberg integral, the latter involving the Cesaro weight. We also prove some side results when f is a divisor function.  相似文献

We obtain a series of new integral formulae for a distribution of arbitrary codimension (and its orthogonal complement) given on a closed Riemannian manifold, which start from the formula by Walczak (1990) and generalize ones for foliations by several authors. For foliations on space forms our formulae reduce to the classical type formulae by Brito-Langevin-Rosenberg (1981) and Brito-Naveira (2000). The integral formulae involve the conullity tensor of a distribution, and certain components of the curvature tensor. The formulae also deal with a set of arbitrary functions depending on the scalar invariants of the co-nullity tensor. For a special choice of the functions our formulae involve the Newton transformations of the co-nullity tensor.  相似文献

Boundary integral methods to compute interfacial flows are very sensitive to numerical instabilities. A previous stability analysis by Beale, Hou and Lowengrub reveals that a very delicate balance among terms with singular integrals and derivatives must be preserved at the discrete level in order to maintain numerical stability. Such balance can be preserved by applying suitable numerical filtering at certain places of the discretization. While this filtering technique is effective for two-dimensional (2-D) periodic fluid interfaces, it does not apply to nonperiodic fluid interfaces. Moreover, using the filtering technique alone does not seem to be sufficient to stabilize 3-D fluid interfaces.

Here we introduce a new stabilizing technique for boundary integral methods for water waves which applies to nonperiodic and 3-D interfaces. A stabilizing term is added to the boundary integral method which exactly cancels the destabilizing term produced by the point vortex method approximation to the leading order. This modified boundary integral method still has the same order of accuracy as the point vortex method. A detailed stability analysis is presented for the point vortex method for 2-D water waves. The effect of various stabilizing terms is illustrated through careful numerical experiments.

We study a second-order central scheme for the shallow water flows with a discontinuous bottom topography based on modified hydrostatic reconstructions (HRs). The first HR scheme was proposed in Audusse et al, which may be missing the effect of the large discontinuous bottom topography. We introduce a modified HR method to cope with this numerical difficulty. The new scheme is well-balanced for still water solutions and can guarantee the positivity of the water depth. Finally, several numerical results of classical problems of the shallow water equations confirmed these properties of the new scheme. Especially, the new scheme yields superior results for the shallow water downhill flow over a step.  相似文献

本文构造一类新的基于函数值和偏导数值的双变量加权混合有理插值样条.与已有的有理插值样条相比,这类新的有理插值样条具有以下四方面的特性,其一,插值函数可以由简单的对称基函数来表示;其二,对任何正参数,插值函数满足C1连续,而且,在不限制参数取值的条件之下,插值曲面保持光滑;其三,插值函数不但含有参数,而且带有加权系数,增加了插值函数的自由度;其四,插值曲面的形状随着参数与加权系数的变化而变化.同时,本文讨论此类插值曲面的性质,包括基函数的性质、积分加权系数的性质和插值函数的边界性质.此类插值函数的优势在于,不改变给定插值数据的前提下,通过选择合适的参数和不同的加权系数,对插值区域内的任意点的函数值进行修改.因此可将其应用于曲面设计,根据实际设计需要,自由地修改曲面形状.数值实验表明,此类新的有理样条插值具有良好的约束控制性质.  相似文献

通过流动显示和定量测量对浅水流动环境条件下,高浓度流体垂体向抛射入水后形成的射流运动扩散及浓度分布特征进行了水槽实验研究。实验分析了射流入水后与环境水流条件的相互作用,通过数据分析给出了射流中心线着底点与横向扩散角的拟合公式。实验结果表明高浓度射流在近区呈现出不同于一般淹没射流的复杂流动形态及扩散特征,以异重流的形式向下游推移。  相似文献
