Some Properties of Cauchy-Type Singular Integrals in Clifford Analysis

First,we give a module estimation of the singular integral with a differential element.Then by proving the existences of Cauchy principal value we obtain the transformation formula of the Cauchy-type singular integrals with a parameter.     

Boundary properties for several singular integral operators in real Clifford analysis

On the basis of the Cauchy integral formulas for regular and biregular functions, we define some Cauchy-type singular integral operators. Then we discuss the Hlder continuous property of some singular integral operators with one integral variable. Then we divide a singular integral operator with two variables into three parts and prove its Hlder continuous property on the boundary.     

Singular Stabilization and H∞ Control of Nonlinear Systems with Ordinary Homogeneous Properties

In this paper, the nonlinear singular stabilization, H∞control problem of systems with ordinary homogeneous properties is considered. At first, we discuss the stabilization problems of nonlinear systems with homogeneous. Secondly, by vitue of Hamilton-Jacobi-Isaacs equations or inequalities, we solve regular H∞, of nonlinear systems with homogeneous properties. To overcome the H∞, problem of singular nonlinear system, we try to transform inputs of the singular nonlinear system into two parts: regular part input and singular part input. Following the previous results, we solve the singular nonlinear system H∞control, we give the Lyapunov function and the state feedback controller of the singular nonlinear systems with homogeneous properties.     

The Cauchy Boundary Value Problems on Closed Piecewise Smooth Manifolds in <Emphasis Type="Italic">C</Emphasis><Superscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">n</Emphasis></Superscript>

Suppose that D is a bounded domain with a piecewise C^1 smooth boundary in C^n. Let ψ∈C^1 α(δD). By using the Hadamard principal value of the higher order singular integral and solid angle coefficient method of points on the boundary, we give the Plemelj formula of the higher order singular integral with the Boehner-Martinelli kernel, which has integral density ψ. Moreover, by means of the Plemelj formula and methods of complex partial differential equations, we discuss the corresponding Cauehy boundary value problem with the Boehner-Martinelli kernel on a closed piecewise smooth manifold and obtain its unique branch complex harmonic solution.

A QUASILINEAR SINGULAR ELLIPTIC SYSTEM WITHOUT COOPERATIVE STRUCTURE

In this article, we investigate the existence of positive solutions of a singular quasilinear elliptic system for which the cooperative structure is not required. The approach is based on the Schauder fixed point theorem combined with perturbation arguments that involve the singular terms.     

Energy identity of the heat flow of H-systems at finite singular time

It is well known that there exists a global solution to the heat flow of H-systems.If the solution satisfies a certain energy inequality,it is global regular with at most finitely many singularities. Under the same energy inequality,we can show the energy identity of the heat flow of H-systems at finite singular time.The most interesting thing in our proof is that we find the singular points can only occur in the interior of the set in some sense.     

Hardy type estimates for commutators of singular integrals

In this paper we study the Hardy type estimates for commutators Tb of standard Calderon-Zygmund singular integral operators T with a Lipschitz function b. The corresponding results are also obtained on the commutators Sb generated by b with singular integral operators S with variable kernels.     

On the Singular Direction of Entire Functions

In this paper, after defining a normal criterion with a parameter and a singular direction of an entire function corresponding to a normal criterion, we shall prove the following theorem.Theorem 1 Suppose that f(z) is a transcendental entire function. Then there exists a direction Δ: argz = θ0 (0≤0<2π) which is a singular direction of f(z) corresponding to every normal criterion with a parameter.From theorem 1 we deduce at once existence of some singular directions.     

INITIAL VALUE PROBLEM FOR A NONLINEAR PARABOLIC EQUATION WITH SINGULAR INTEGRAL-DIFFERENTIAL TERM

We study the initial value problem for a nonlinear parabolic equation with singular integral-differential term. By means of a series of a priori estimations of the solutions to the problem andLeray-Schauder fixed point principle, we demonstrate the existence and uniqueness theorems ofthe generalized and classical global solutions. Lastly, we discuss the asymptotic properties of thesolution as t tends to infinity.     

Bifurcation of Limit Cycles and Pseudo-Isochronicity at Degenerate Singular Point in a Septic System

This paper deals with the problems of bifurcation of limit cycles and pseudo-isochronous center conditions at degenerate singular point in a class of septic polynomial differential system. We solve the problems by an indirect method, i.e., we transform the degenerate singular point into an elementary singular point. Then we construct a septic system which allows the appearance of eight limit cycles in the neighborhood of degenerate singular point. Finally, we investigate the pseudo-isochronous center conditions at degenerate singular point for the system. As far as we know, this is the first time that an example of septic system with eight limit cycles bifurcating from degenerate singular point is given, and it is also the first time the pseudo-isochronous center conditions at degenerate singular point in a septic system are discussed.     

Center conditions and bifurcation of limit cycles at degenerate singular points in a quintic polynomial differential system

The center problem and bifurcation of limit cycles for degenerate singular points are far to be solved in general. In this paper, we study center conditions and bifurcation of limit cycles at the degenerate singular point in a class of quintic polynomial vector field with a small parameter and eight normal parameters. We deduce a recursion formula for singular point quantities at the degenerate singular points in this system and reach with relative ease an expression of the first five quantities at the degenerate singular point. The center conditions for the degenerate singular point of this system are derived. Consequently, we construct a quintic system, which can bifurcates 5 limit cycles in the neighborhood of the degenerate singular point. The positions of these limit cycles can be pointed out exactly without constructing Poincaré cycle fields. The technique employed in this work is essentially different from more usual ones. The recursion formula we present in this paper for the calculation of singular point quantities at degenerate singular point is linear and then avoids complex integrating operations.     

Balanced split sets and Hamilton�CJacobi equations

We study the singular set of solutions to Hamilton?CJacobi equations with a Hamiltonian independent of u. In a previous paper, we proved that the singular set is what we called a balanced split locus. In this paper, we find and classify all balanced split loci, identifying the cases where the only balanced split locus is the singular locus, and the cases where this does not hold. This clarifies the relationship between viscosity solutions and the classical approach of characteristics, providing equations for the singular set. Along the way, we prove more structure results about the singular sets.     

Riemannian Geometry of Conical Singular Sets

In this paper, we study a class of singular Riemannian manifolds. The singular set itself is a smooth manifold with a cone-like neighborhood. By imposing a reasonable convergence condition on the metric, we can determine the local geometrical structure near the singular set. In general, the curvature near the singular set is unbounded. We prove that a bounded curvature assumption would have a strong implication on the geometrical and topological structures near the singular set. We also establish the Gauss–Bonnet–Chern formula, which can be applied to the study of singular Eistein 4-manifolds.

Generalized Flows and Singular ODEs on Differentiable Manifolds

Based on the concept of manifold-valued generalized functions, we initiate a study of nonlinear ordinary differential equations with singular (in particular: distributional) right-hand sides in a global setting. After establishing several existence and uniqueness results for solutions of such equations and flows of singular vector fields, we compare the solution concept employed here with the purely distributional setting. Finally, we derive criteria securing that a sequence of smooth flows corresponding to the regularization of a given singular vector field converges to a measurable limiting flow.

Sobolev type embedding and weak solutions with a prescribed singular set

New Sobolev type embeddings for some weighted Banach spaces are established. Using such embeddings and the singular positive radial entire solutions, we construct singular positive weak solutions with a prescribed singular set for a weighted elliptic equation. Our main results in this paper also provide positive weak solutions with a prescribed singular set to an equation with Hardy potential.
