Restricted non linear approximation is a generalization of the N‐term approximation in which a measure on the index set of the approximants controls the type, instead of the number, of elements in the approximation. Thresholding is a well‐known type of non linear approximation. We relate a generalized upper and lower Temlyakov property with the decreasing rate of the thresholding approximation. This relation is in the form of a characterization through some general discrete Lorentz spaces. Thus, not only we recover some results in the literature but find new ones. As an application of these results, we compress and reduce noise of some images with wavelets and shearlets and show, at least empirically, that the L2‐norm is not necessarily the best norm to measure the approximation error.  相似文献

We deal with homogeneous Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces in the setting of a doubling metric measure space in the presence of a non-negative self-adjoint operator whose heat kernel has Gaussian localization and the Markov property. The class of almost diagonal operators on the associated sequence spaces is developed and it is shown that this class is an algebra. The boundedness of almost diagonal operators is utilized for establishing smooth molecular and atomic decompositions for the above homogeneous Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces. Spectral multipliers for these spaces are established as well.

In this paper, we apply wavelets to consider local norm function spaces with the Lorentz index. Triebel–Lizorkin–Lorentz spaces are based on the real interpolation of the Triebel–Lizorkin spaces. Triebel–Lizorkin–Morrey spaces are based on local norm of the Triebel–Lizorkin spaces. We give a unified depict of spaces that include these two kinds of spaces. Each index of the five index spaces represents a property of functions. We prove the wavelet characterization of the Triebel–Lizorkin–Lorentz–Morrey spaces and use such characterization to study some basic properties of these spaces.  相似文献

We shall present here results concerning the metric entropy of spaces of linear and nonlinear approximation under very general conditions. Our first result computes the metric entropy of the linear and m-terms approximation classes according to a quasi-greedy basis verifying the Temlyakov property. This theorem shows that the second index r is not visible throughout the behavior of the metric entropy. However, metric entropy does discriminate between linear and nonlinear approximation. Our second result extends and refines a result obtained in a Hilbertian framework by Donoho, proving that under orthosymmetry conditions, m-terms approximation classes are characterized by the metric entropy. Since these theorems are given under the general context of quasi-greedy bases verifying the Temlyakov property, they have a large spectrum of applications. For instance, it is proved in the last section that they can be applied in the case of L p norms for R d for 1 < p < \infty. We show that the lower bounds needed for this paper in fact follow from quite simple large deviation inequalities concerning hypergeometric or binomial distributions. To prove the upper bounds, we provide a very simple universal coding based on a thresholding-quantizing constructive procedure.  相似文献

We study complex interpolation of Herz‐type Triebel–Lizorkin spaces by using the Calderón product method. Additionally we present complex interpolation between Herz‐type Triebel–Lizorkin spaces and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces . Moreover, we apply these results to obtain the complex interpolation of Triebel–Lizorkin spaces equipped with power weights and between (or ) spaces and Herz spaces.  相似文献

This article deals with trace operators on anisotropic Lizorkin–Triebel spaces with mixed norms over cylindrical domains with smooth boundary. As a preparation we include a rather self‐contained exposition of Lizorkin–Triebel spaces on manifolds and extend these results to mixed‐norm Lizorkin–Triebel spaces on cylinders in Euclidean space. In addition Rychkov's universal extension operator for a half space is shown to be bounded with respect to the mixed norms, and a support preserving right‐inverse of the trace is given explicitly and proved to be continuous in the scale of mixed‐norm Lizorkin–Triebel spaces. As an application, the heat equation is considered in these spaces, and the necessary compatibility conditions on the data are deduced.  相似文献

In this article, the authors construct some counterexamples to show that the generalized Carleson measure space and the Triebel–Lizorkin-type space are not equivalent for certain parameters, which was claimed to be true in Lin and Wang [C.-C. Lin and K.Wang, Equivalency between the generalized Carleson measure spaces and Triebel–Lizorkin-type spaces, Taiwanese J. Math. 15 (2011), pp. 919–926]. Moreover, the authors show that for some special parameters, the generalized Carleson measure space, the Triebel–Lizorkin-type space and the Besov-type space coincide with certain Triebel–Lizorkin space, which answers a question posed in Remark 6.11(i) of Yuan et al. [W. Yuan, W. Sickel and D. Yang, Morrey and Campanato Meet Besov, Lizorkin and Triebel, Lecture Notes in Mathematics 2005, Springer-Verlag, Berlin, 2010]. In conclusion, the Triebel–Lizorkin-type space and the Besov-type space become the classical Besov spaces, when the fourth parameter is sufficiently large.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce weighted Besov spaces and weighted Triebel–Lizorkin spaces associated with different homogeneities and prove that the composition of two Calderón–Zygmund operators is bounded on these spaces. This extends a recent result in Han et al, Revista Mat. Iber.  相似文献

Harmonic Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces on the unit ball in \({\mathbb R}^d\) with full range of parameters are introduced and studied. It is shown that these spaces can be identified with respective Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces of distributions on the sphere. Frames consisting of harmonic functions are also developed and frame characterization of the harmonic Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin spaces is established.  相似文献

In this paper we study the maximal function and local means characterizations and the non‐smooth atomic decomposition of the Triebel–Lizorkin type spaces with variable exponents . These spaces were recently introduced by Yang et al. and cover the Triebel–Lizorkin spaces with variable exponents as well as the classical Triebel–Lizorkin spaces , even the case when . Moreover, covered by this scale are also the Triebel–Lizorkin‐type spaces with constant exponents which, in turn cover the Triebel–Lizorkin–Morrey spaces. As an application we obtain a pointwise multiplier assertion for those spaces.  相似文献

In this article, we study the relation between Sobolev-type embeddings for Sobolev spaces or Hajłasz–Besov spaces or Hajłasz–Triebel–Lizorkin spaces defined on a doubling and geodesic metric measure space and lower bound for measure of balls either in the whole space or in a domain inside the space.  相似文献

We are concerned with establishing completeness and separability criteria for large classes of topological vector spaces which are typically non-locally convex, including Lebesgue-like spaces, Lorentz spaces, Orlicz spaces, mixed-normed spaces, tent spaces, and discrete Triebel–Lizorkin and Besov spaces. For vector spaces of measurable functions we also derive pointwise convergence results. Our approach relies on abstract capacitary estimates and works in certain cases of interest even in the absence of a background measure space and/or of a vector space structure.  相似文献

This paper aims to give a new perspective for definability in rough set theory. First, a counterpart of definability is introduced in textural approximation spaces. Then a complete field of sets for texture spaces is defined and using textural arguments, some new results are obtained for rough sets. It is shown that definability can be also discussed in terms of a complete field of fuzzy sets on a fuzzy lattice for the various fuzzy approximation spaces. It is also given a partial affirmative answer to an open problem posed by Wei-Zhi Wu in On some mathematical structures of T-fuzzy rough set algebras in infinite universes of discourse in Fundamenta Informaticae 108 (3–4) 2011 337–369.  相似文献

We prove local‐in‐time unique existence and a blowup criterion for solutions in the Triebel‐Lizorkin space for the Euler equations of inviscid incompressible fluid flows in ?n, n ≥ 2. As a corollary we obtain global persistence of the initial regularity characterized by the Triebel‐Lizorkin spaces for the solutions of two‐dimensional Euler equations. To prove the results, we establish the logarithmic inequality of the Beale‐Kato‐Majda type, the Moser type of inequality, as well as the commutator estimate in the Triebel‐Lizorkin spaces. The key methods of proof used are the Littlewood‐Paley decomposition and the paradifferential calculus by J. M. Bony. © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

We investigate function spaces of generalised smoothness of Besov and Triebel–Lizorkin type. Equivalent quasi-norms in terms of maximal functions and local means are given. An atomic decomposition theorem for this type of spaces is proved. Mathematics Subject Classification (2000) 46E35  相似文献

A unifying approach for proving certain commutator estimates involving smooth, not-necessarily divergence-free vector fields is introduced and implemented in the scales of weighted Triebel–Lizorkin and Besov spaces and certain variable exponent Triebel–Lizorkin and Besov spaces. Such commutator estimates are motivated by the study of well-posedness results for some models in incompressible fluid mechanics.  相似文献

We compute the right and left democracy functions of admissible wavelet bases in variable Lebesgue spaces defined on \(\mathbb R^n\). As an application we give Lebesgue type inequalities for these wavelet bases. We also show that our techniques can be easily modified to prove analogous results for weighted variable Lebesgue spaces and variable exponent Triebel–Lizorkin spaces.  相似文献

We consider local means with bounded smoothness for Besov‐Morrey and Triebel‐Lizorkin‐Morrey spaces. Based on those we derive characterizations of these spaces in terms of Daubechies, Meyer, Bernstein (spline) and more general r‐regular (father) wavelets, finally in terms of (biorthogonal) wavelets which can serve as molecules and local means, respectively. Hereby both, local means and wavelet decompositions satisfy natural conditions concerning smoothness and cancellation (moment conditions). Moreover, the given representations by wavelets are unique and yield isomorphisms between the considered function spaces and appropriate sequence spaces of wavelet coefficients. These wavelet representations lead to wavelet bases if, and only if, the function spaces coincide with certain classical Besov‐Triebel‐Lizorkin spaces.  相似文献
