Positive piecewise pseudo-almost periodic solutions of first-order singular differential equations with impulses

This paper is concerned with a kind of first-order singular differential equations with impulses. The main purpose of this paper is to study the existence, uniqueness, and globally exponential stability of the positive piecewise pseudo-almost periodic solutions. The main tools utilized to establish our results consist of the contraction mapping principle and generalized Gronwall–Bellmain inequality. Two examples are given at the end of the paper to illustrate the main results.     

Global structure of positive solution sets of nonlinear operator equations

In this paper we investigate the existence of unbounded maximal subcontinua of positive solution sets of some nonlinear operator equations that bifurcates from infinity. The main feature of the paper is that the nonlinearity may not be of asymptotically linear type and may not be positone. The methods used to show our main results are different from that of Rabinowitz’ well-known global bifurcation theorems and that of some other related papers. We first obtain a sequence of unbounded subcontinua located in a pipe that bifurcates from nontrivial solutions by using a topological degree argument. Then using a result on subcontinua of superior limit in metric spaces we obtain the main results concerning unbounded maximal subcontinua of positive solution sets of the nonlinear operator equation. The main results can be applied to the semipositone problems to obtain the existence of positive solutions.     

Some general univalence criteria for a family of integral operators

The main object of the present paper is to discuss some extensions of univalence conditions for a family of integral operators. Several other closely-related results are also considered. Many known univalence conditions are shown to follow upon specializing the parameters involved in our main results.     

The Necessary Conditions of Fractional Optimal Control in the Sense of Caputo

This paper deals with the optimal control problem of a fractional dynamic system in the sense of Caputo. The main result of this paper gives a second order necessary optimality condition for fractional optimal control problems, which has not been discussed before. An application is introduced to explain our main results.

Strong convergence of a general viscosity explicit rule for the sum of two monotone operators in Hilbert spaces

In this paper, we study a general viscosity explicit rule for approximating the solutions of the variational inclusion problem for the sum of two monotone operators. We then prove its strong convergence under some new conditions on the parameters in the framework of Hilbert spaces. As applications, we apply our main result to the split feasibility problem and the LASSO problem. We also give some numerical examples to support our main result. The results presented in this paper extend and improve the corresponding results in the literature.

Proximal point algorithms for solving convex minimization problem and common fixed points problem of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings in CAT(0) spaces with convergence analysis

In this paper, we introduce the modified proximal point algorithm for common fixed points of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings in CAT(0) spaces and also prove some convergence theorems of the proposed algorithm to a common fixed point of asymptotically quasi-nonexpansive mappings and a minimizer of a convex function. The main results in this paper improve and generalize the corresponding results given by some authors. Moreover, we then give numerical examples to illustrate and show efficiency of the proposed algorithm for supporting our main results.     

Existence of periodic solutions,global attractivity and oscillation of impulsive delay population model

In this paper we consider the nonlinear impulsive delay population model. The main objective is to systematically study the qualitative behavior of the model including existence of periodic solutions, global attractivity and oscillation. The main oscillation results are the results of the prevalence of the mature cells about the periodic solutions and the global attractivity results are the conditions for nonexistence of dynamical diseases on the population.

Existence and multiplicity of solutions for p(x)-Laplacian differential inclusions involving critical growth

This paper concernes with the existence and multiplicity of solutions for $p(x)$-Laplacian differential inclusions involving critical growth. The main tools are the nonsmooth analysis and variational methods. Our main results generalize some recent results in the literature into nonsmooth cases.     

Multiplicity of positive solutions to period boundary value problems for second order impulsive differential equations

This paper deals with the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions to second order period boundary value problems with impulse effects. The proof of our main results relies on a well-known fixed point theorem in cones. The paper extends some previous results and reports some new results about impulsive differential equations.
