Let R be an abelian ring. We consider a special subring An, relative to α2,…, αn∈ REnd(R), of the matrix ring Mn(R) over a ring R. It is shown that the ring An is a generalized right PP-ring (right zip ring) if and only if the ring R is a generalized right PP-ring (right zip ring). Our results yield more examples of generalized right PP-rings and right ziu rings.  相似文献

弱$r$-Clean环     
As generalization of r-clean rings and weakly clean rings, we define a ring R is weakly r-clean if for any a∈R there exist an idempotent e and a regular element r such that a = r + e or a = r-e. Some properties and examples of weakly r-clean rings are given. Furthermore, we prove the weakly clean rings and weakly r-clean rings are equivalent for abelian rings.  相似文献

We introduce the concept of ideal-comparability condition for regular rings. Let I be an ideal of a regular ring R. If R satisfies the I-comparability condition, then R is one-sided unit-regular if and only if so is R/I. Also, we show that a regular ring R satisfies the general comparability if and only if the following hold: (1) R/I satisfies the general comparability; (2) R satisfies the general I-comparability condition; (3) The natural map B(R) → B(R/I) is surjective.  相似文献

In this paper, a new class of rings, called FIC rings, is introduced for studying quasi-zero-divisor graphs of rings. Let R be a ring. The quasi-zero-divisor graph of R, denoted by Γ_*(R), is a directed graph defined on its nonzero quasi-zero-divisors, where there is an arc from a vertex x to another vertex y if and only if x Ry = 0. We show that the following three conditions on an FIC ring R are equivalent:(1) χ(R) is finite;(2) ω(R) is finite;(3)Nil_*R is finite where Nil_*R equals the finite intersection of prime ideals. Furthermore, we also completely determine the connectedness, the diameter and the girth of Γ_*(R).  相似文献

In this paper, a generalization of the class of semicommutative rings is investigated.A ring R is called left GWZI if for any a ∈ R, l(a) is a GW-ideal of R. We prove that a ring R is left GWZI if and only if S3(R) is left GWZI if and only if Vn(R) is left GWZI for any n ≥ 2.  相似文献

A ring R is called a left (right) SF-ring if all simple left (right) R-modules are flat. It is known that von Neumann regular rings are left and right SF-rings. In this paper, we study the regularity of right SF-rings and prove that if R is a right SF-ring whose all maximal (essential) right ideals are GW-ideals, then R is regular.  相似文献

Let N denote the set of positive integers. The sum graph G^+(S) of a finite subset S belong to N is the graph (S, E) with uv ∈ E if and only if u + v ∈ S. A graph G is said to be a sum graph if it is isomorphic to the sum graph of some S belong to N. By using the set Z of all integers instead of N, we obtain the definition of the integral sum graph. A graph G = (V, E) is a mod sum graph if there exists a positive integer z and a labelling, λ, of the vertices of G with distinct elements from {0, 1, 2,..., z - 1} so that uv ∈ E if and only if the sum, modulo z, of the labels assigned to u and v is the label of a vertex of G. In this paper, we prove that flower tree is integral sum graph. We prove that Dutch m-wind-mill (Dm) is integral sum graph and mod sum graph, and give the sum number of Dm.  相似文献

A general ring means an associative ring with or without identity.An idempotent e in a general ring I is called left (right) semicentral if for every x ∈ I,xe=exe (ex=exe).And I is called semiabelian if every idempotent in I is left or right semicentral.It is proved that a semiabelian general ring I is π-regular if and only if the set N (I) of nilpotent elements in I is an ideal of I and I /N (I) is regular.It follows that if I is a semiabelian general ring and K is an ideal of I,then I is π-regular if and only if both K and I /K are π-regular.Based on this we prove that every semiabelian GVNL-ring is an SGVNL-ring.These generalize several known results on the relevant subject.Furthermore we give a characterization of a semiabelian GVNL-ring.  相似文献

A ring R is said to be weakly semicommutative if for any a,b∈R, ab=0 implies aRb(?)Nil(R),where Nil(R) is the set of all nilpotent elements in R. In this note,we clarify the relationship between weakly semicommutative rings and NI-rings by proving that the notion of a weakly semicommutative ring is a proper generalization of NI-rings.We say that a ring R is weakly 2-primal if the set of nilpotent elements in R coincides with its Levitzki radical,and prove that if R is a weakly 2-primal ring which satisfiesα-condition for an endomorphismαof R(that is,ab=0(?)aα(b)=0 where a,b∈R) then the skew polynomial ring R[x;α] is a weakly 2-primal ring,and that if R is a ring and I is an ideal of R such that I and R/I are both weakly semicommutative then R is weakly semicommutative. Those extend the main results of Liang et al.2007(Taiwanese J.Math.,11(5)(2007), 1359-1368) considerably.Moreover,several new results about weakly semicommutative rings and NI-rings are included.  相似文献

As early as in 1990, Professor Sun Yongsheng, suggested his students at Beijing Normal University to consider research problems on the unit sphere. Under his guidance and encouragement his students started the research on spherical harmonic analysis and approximation. In this paper, we incompletely introduce the main achievements in this area obtained by our group and relative researchers during recent 5 years (2001-2005). Given the Laplace transform F(s) of a function f(t), we develop a new algorithm to find an approximation to f(t) by the use of the classical Jacobi polynomials. The main contribution of our work is the development of a new and very effective method to determine the coefficients in the finite series expansion that approximation f(t) in terms of Jacobi polynomials. In applications it is useful to compute the local average empirical statistics on u. A very simple relation exists when of a function f(u) of an input u from the local averages are given by a Haar approximation. The question is to know if it holds for higher order approximation methods. To do so, it is necessary to use approximate product operators defined over linear approximation spaces. These products are characterized by a Strang and Fix like condition. An explicit construction of these product operators is exhibited for piecewise polynomial functions, using Hermite interpolation. The averaging relation which holds for the Haar approximation is then recovered when the product is defined by a two point Hermite interpolation.  相似文献
