In this paper we are concerned with the global regularity of solutions to the Dirichlet problem for a class of Monge-Ampère type equations.By employing the concept of(a,η) type domain,we emphasize that the boundary regularity depends on the convexity of the domain in nature.The key idea of our proof is to provide more effective global H?lder estimates of convex solutions to the problem based on carefully choosing auxiliary functions and constructing sub-solutions.  相似文献

By means of the classical symmetry method,a hyperbolic Monge-Ampère equation is investigated.The symmetry group is studied and its corresponding group invariant solutions are constructed.Based on the associated vector of the obtained symmetry,the authors construct the group-invariant optimal system of the hyperbolic Monge-Ampère equation,from which two interesting classes of solutions to the hyperbolic Monge-Ampère equation are obtained successfully.  相似文献

We consider the problem of deforming a metric in its conformal class on a closed manifold, such that the k-curvature defined by the Bakry-mery Ricci tensor is a constant. We show its solvability on the manifold, provided that the initial Bakry-mery Ricci tensor belongs to a negative cone. Moveover, the Monge-Ampère type equation with respect to the Bakry-mery Ricci tensor is also considered.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce and study a method for the numerical solution of the elliptic Monge-Ampère equation with Dirichlet boundary conditions. We formulate the Monge-Ampère equation as an optimization problem. The latter involves a Poisson Problem which is solved by the finite element Galerkin method and the minimum is computed by the conjugate gradient algorithm. In this paper, we show that the growth of meromorphic or algebroidal solutions of some algebraic differential equations can be estimated in terms of the growth of the coefficients in tho equation and the counting functions of some value peints. We point simulteneously out that the growth of algebroid solutions of certain class of differential equations can be estimated using only the growth of coefficients in the equation, and give an example which is not belonging to this class to show that the above conclusion is not true.  相似文献

In this paper we establish an asymptotic expansion near the boundary for solutions to the Dirichlet problem of elliptic equations with singularities near the boundary.This expansion formula shows the singularity profile of solutions at the boundary.We deal with both linear and nonlinear elliptic equations,including fully nonlinear elliptic equations and equations of Monge-Ampère type.  相似文献

For the fully nonlinear uniformly elliptic equation F(D2u) = 0, it is well known that the viscosity solutions are C2,α if the nonlinear operator F is convex (or concave). In this paper, we study the classical solutions for the fully nonlinear elliptic equation where the nonlinear operator F is locally C1,β a.e. for any 0 < β < 1. We will prove that the classical solutions u are C2,α. Moreover, the C2,α norm of u depends on n,F and the continuous modulus of D2u.  相似文献

We study a prescribing functions problem of a conformally invariant integral equation involving Poisson kernel on the unit ball. This integral equation is not the dual of any standard type of PDE. As in Nirenberg problem, there exists a Kazdan–Warner type obstruction to existence of solutions. We prove existence in the antipodal symmetry functions class.  相似文献

We give a classification of second-order polynomial solutions for the homogeneous k-Hessian equation σ_k[u] = 0. There are only two classes of polynomial solutions: One is convex polynomial; another one must not be(k + 1)-convex, and in the second case, the k-Hessian equations are uniformly elliptic with respect to that solution. Based on this classification, we obtain the existence of C∞local solution for nonhomogeneous term f without sign assumptions.  相似文献

In this paper we study a free boundary problem modeling the growth of multi-layer tumors. This free boundary problem contains one parabolic equation and one elliptic equation, defined on an unbounded domain in R2 of the form 0 〈 y 〈p(x,t), where p(x,t) is an unknown function. Unlike previous works on this tumor model where unknown functions are assumed to be periodic and only elliptic equations are evolved in the model, in this paper we consider the case where unknown functions are not periodic functions and both elliptic and parabolic equations appear in the model. It turns out that this problem is more difficult to analyze rigorously. We first prove that this problem is locally well-posed in little H61der spaces. Next we investigate asymptotic behavior of the solution. By using the principle of linearized stability, we prove that if the surface tension coefficient y is larger than a threshold value y〉0, then the unique flat equilibrium is asymptotically stable provided that the constant c representing the ratio between the nutrient diffusion time and the tumor-cell doubling time is sufficiently small.  相似文献

In this paper we prove that the solution of explicit difference scheme for a class of semilinear parabolic equations converges to the solution of difference schemes for the corresponding nonlinear elliptic equations in H1 norm as t →∞. In this paper, a new class of fuzzy mappings called semistrictly convex fuzzy mappings is introduced and we present some properties of this kind of fuzzy mappings. In particular, we prove that a local minimum of a semistrictly convex fuzzy mapping is also a global minimum. We also discuss the relations among convexity, strict convexity and semistrict convexity of fuzzy mapping, and give several sufficient conditions for convexity and semistrict convexity.  相似文献

In this article, we obtain explicit solutions of a linear PDE subject to a class of radial square integrable functions with a monotonically increasing weight function |x|n-1eβ|x|2/2,β≥ 0, x ∈ Rn. This linear PDE is obtained from a system of forced Burgers equation via the Cole-Hopf transformation. For any spatial dimension n 1, the solution is expressed in terms of a family of weighted generalized Laguerre polynomials. We also discuss the large time behaviour of the solution of the system of forced Burgers equation.  相似文献

In this paper, we construct stationary classical solutions of the shallow water equation with vanishing Froude number F r in the so-called lake model.To this end we need to study solutions to the following semilinear elliptic problem ■ for small ε 0, where p 1, div(?q/b)= 0 and ? ? R~2 is a smooth bounded domain.We show that if q2/b has m strictly local minimum(maximum) points ■, i =1,···, m, then there is a stationary classical solution approximating stationary m points vortex solution of shallow water equations with vorticity ■.Moreover, strictly local minimum points of q2/b on the boundary can also give vortex solutions for the shallow water equation.  相似文献

In this paper, starting from a function analytic in a neighborhood of the unit disk and based on Bessel functions, we construct a family of generalized multivariate sinc functions, which are radial and named radial Bessel-sinc (RBS) functions being time-frequency atoms with nonlinear phase. We obtain a recursive formula for the RBS functions in R d with d being odd. Based on the RBS function, a corresponding sampling theorem for a class of non-bandlimited signals is established. We investigate a class of radial functions and prove that each of these functions can be extended to become a monogenic function between two parallel planes, where the monogencity is taken to be of the Clifford analysis sense.  相似文献

In this article, we construct the exact traveling wave solutions for nonlinear evolution equations in the mathematical physics via the modified Kawahara equation, the nonlinear coupled KdV equations and the classical Boussinesq equations, by using a generalized (G'/G)-expansion method, where G satisfies the Jacobi elliptic equation. In this note, we investigate the existence of the minimal solution and the uniqueness of the weak extremal (probably singular) solution to the biharmonic equation

with Dirichlet boundary condition in the unit ball in Rn, where the source term is logarithmically convex. An example is also given to illustrate that the logarithmical convexity is not a necessary condition to ensure the uniqueness of the extremal solution.  相似文献
