Weyl type theorem and hypercyclic operators

Using a variant of the essential approximate point spectrum, we give the necessary and sufficient conditions for T for which the a-Browder's theorem or the a-Weyl's theorem holds. Also, the relation between hypercyclic operators (or supercyclic operators) and the operators which satisfy Weyl type theorem is discussed.     

Strictly nilpotent elements and bispectral operators in the Weyl algebra

In this paper we give another characterization of the strictly nilpotent elements in the Weyl algebra, which (apart from the polynomials) turn out to be all bispectral operators with polynomial coefficients. This also allows to reformulate in terms of bispectral operators the famous conjecture, that all the endomorphisms of the Weyl algebra are automorphisms (Dixmier, Kirillov, etc).

On discrete Picard operators

The present paper is concerned with the approximation properties of discrete version of Picard operators. We first give exact equalities for the moments of the operators. In calculations of these moments, Eulerian numbers play a crucial role. We discuss convergence of these operators in weighted spaces and give Voronovskaya‐type asymptotic formula. The weighted approximation of the operators in quantitative mean in terms of different modulus of continuities is also considered. We emphasize that the rate of convergence of the operators is better than the one obtained in 1 . Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

A class of pseudo-monotone operators and its applications in PDE

In this paper we give a criterion of pseudo-monotone operators by which a class of operators related to elliptic partial differential equations is recognized as pseudo-monotone operators. On infinite dimensional quadratic Volterra operators

In this paper we study a class of quadratic operators named by Volterra operators on infinite dimensional space. We prove that such operators have infinitely many fixed points and the set of Volterra operators forms a convex compact set. In addition, it is described its extreme points. Besides, we study certain limit behaviors of such operators and give some more examples of Volterra operators for which their trajectories do not converge. Finally, we define a compatible sequence of finite dimensional Volterra operators and prove that any power of this sequence converges in weak topology.     

Invariant subspaces of nilpotent operators and LR-sequences

The aim of this paper is to study systematically invariant subspaces of finitedimensional nilpotent operators. Our main motivation comes from classifying the similarity orbit in thelattice of invariant subspaces of a given nilpotent operator. We give a detailed study of the Littlewood-Richardson similarity orbit. We show that none of the natural similarity relations is equivalent with the others.     

Multilinear localization operators

In this paper we introduce a notion of multilinear localization operators. By reinterpreting these operators as multilinear Kohn-Nirenberg pseudodifferential operators, we give sufficient conditions for their boundedness on products of modulation spaces. Moreover, we prove that these conditions are also necessary for the boundedness of the operators. Finally, as application, we construct various examples of bounded multilinear pseudodifferential operators.     

Compactness properties of operators dominated by AM-compact operators

We study several properties about the problem of domination in the class of positive AM-compact operators, and we obtain some interesting consequences on positive compact operators. Also, we give a sufficient condition under which a Banach lattice is discrete.

     

Characterization of the order weak compactness of semi-compact operators

We study the relation between the class of semi-compact operators and the class of order weakly compact operators and we give some interesting consequences.     

Fredholmness of pseudodifference operators in weighted Spaces

The aim of the paper is to present some results concerning pseudodifference operators on ?^N, which are a discrete analog of standard pseudodifferential operators on ?^N. We study the Fredholm property of pseudodifference operators acting in weighted l ^p spaces on ?^N and the Phragmen-Lindelöf principle for solutions of pseudodifference equations and give applications of these results to discrete Schrö dinger operators on ?^N.     

Higher order limit q‐Bernstein operators

In this paper we give the estimates of the central moments for the limit q‐Bernstein operators. We introduce the higher order generalization of the limit q‐Bernstein operators and using the moment estimations study the approximation properties of these newly defined operators. It is shown that the higher order limit q‐Bernstein operators faster than the q‐Bernstein operators for the smooth functions defined on [0, 1]. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

On composition operators onH p -spaces in several variables

In this paper, we prove that a composition operator onH ^p (B) is Fredholm if and only if it is invertible if and only if its symbol is an automorphism onB, and give the representation of the spectra of a class of composition operators. In addition, using composition operator, we discuss intertwining Toeplitz operators. Supported by NNSF and PDSF     

Approximation of functions by certain nonlinear integral operators

We study approximation properties of certain nonlinear integral operators L _n * obtained by a modification of given operators L _n . The operators L _n;r and L _n;r * of r-times differentiable functions are also studied. We give theorems on approximation orders of functions by these operators in polynomial weight spaces.     

About positive weak Dunford-Pettis operators on Banach lattices

We characterize Banach lattices for which each positive weak Dunford-Pettis operator from a Banach lattice into another dual Banach lattice is almost Dunford-Pettis. Also, we give some sufficient and necessary conditions for which the class of positive weak Dunford-Pettis operators coincides with that of positive Dunford-Pettis operators, and we derive some consequences.     

On algebras of polynomially compact operators

In this paper, we find sufficient and necessary conditions for a triangularizable closed algebra of polynomially compact operators to be commutative modulo the radical. We also prove that an algebraic algebra of operators of a bounded degree on a Banach space is triangularizable under some mild additional conditions. As a special case we obtain a result stating that every algebraic algebra of operators of bounded degree is triangularizable whenever its commutators are nilpotent operators.     

Ergodic properties of operators in some semi-Hilbertian spaces

This article deals with linear operators T on a complex Hilbert space ?, which are bounded with respect to the seminorm induced by a positive operator A on ?. The A-adjoint and A ^1/2-adjoint of T are considered to obtain some ergodic conditions for T with respect to A. These operators are also employed to investigate the class of orthogonally mean ergodic operators as well as that of A-power bounded operators. Some classes of orthogonally mean ergodic or A-ergodic operators, which come from the theory of generalized Toeplitz operators are considered. In particular, we give an example of an A-ergodic operator (with an injective A) which is not Cesàro ergodic, such that T ^?* is not a quasiaffine transform of an orthogonally mean ergodic operator.
