n-strongly Gorenstein Projective and Injective and Flat Modules

In this paper, we study some properties of n-strongly Gorenstein projective, injective and flat modules, and discuss some connections between n-strongly Gorenstein injective, projective and flat modules. Some applications are given.     

On the toroidal Leibniz algebras

Toroidal Leibniz algebras are the universal central extensions of the iterated loop algebras g×C[t1^±1,...,tv^±1] in the category of Leibniz algebras. In this paper, some properties and representations of toroidal Leibniz algebras are studied. Some general theories of central extensions of Leibniz algebras are also obtained.     

Derived representation type and Gorenstein projective modules of an algebra under crossed product

Let H and its dual H* be finite dimensional semisimple Hopf algebras. In this paper, we firstly prove that the derived representation types of an algebra A and the crossed product algebra A#σH are coincident. This is an improvement of the conclusion about representation type of an algebra in Li and Zhang [Sci China Ser A, 2006, 50: 1-13]. Secondly, we give the relationship between Gorenstein projective modules over A and that over A#σH. Then, using this result, it is proven that A is a finite dimensional CM-finite Gorenstein algebra if and only if so is A#σH.     

Kamenev-type Oscillation Criteria for Semilinear Elliptic Differential Equations

Oscillation criteria for semilinear elliptic differential equations are obtained. The results are extensions of integral averaging technique of Kamenev. General means are employed to establish our results.

Frobenius bimodules and flat-dominant dimensions

We establish relations between Frobenius parts and between flat-dominant dimensions of algebras linked by Frobenius bimodules.This is motivated by the Nakayama conjecture and an approach of MartinezVilla to the Auslander-Reiten conjecture on stable equivalences.We show that the Frobenius parts of Frobenius extensions are again Frobenius extensions.Furthermore,let A and B be finite-dimensional algebras over a field k,and let domdim(_AX)stand for the dominant dimension of an A-module X.If_BM_A is a Frobenius bimodule,then domdim(A)domdim(_BM)and domdim(B)domdim(_AHom_B(M,B)).In particular,if B■A is a left-split(or right-split)Frobenius extension,then domdim(A)=domdim(B).These results are applied to calculate flat-dominant dimensions of a number of algebras:shew group algebras,stably equivalent algebras,trivial extensions and Markov extensions.We also prove that the universal(quantised)enveloping algebras of semisimple Lie algebras are QF-3 rings in the sense of Morita.     

On generalized k-syzygy modules

In this paper, we first introduce the notion of generalized k-syzygy modules, and then give an equivalent characterization that the class of generalized k-syzygy modules coincides with that ofω-k-torsionfree modules. We further study the extension closure of the category consisting of generalized k-syzygy modules. Some known results are obtained as corollaries.     

APPROXIMATION ORDER AND INTERPOLATION SPACES

In this paper we introduce the two-parameter operators on Abelian group and establish their interpolation theorems of approximation, which are extensions of the interpolation theorems for nonlinear best approximation by R. Devore and are suitable for the approximation of oprators.     

FINITELY GENERATED COMMUTATIVE ARCHIMEDEAN SEMIGROUPS

In this work commutative Archimedean finitely generated semigroups are characterized in terms of ideal extensions.     

Weighted variation inequalities for differential operators and singular integrals in higher dimensions

We prove weighted q-variation inequalities with 2q∞for sharp truncations of singular integral operators in higher dimensions.The vector-valued extensions of these inequalities are also given.Parallel results are proven for differential operators.

设R■A是环的Frobenius扩张,其中A是右凝聚环,M是任意左A-模.首先证明了_AM是Gorenstein平坦模当且仅当M作为左R-模也是Gorenstein平坦模.其次,证明了Nakayama和Tsuzuku关于平坦维数沿着Frobenius扩张的传递性定理的"Gorenstein版本":若_AM具有有限Gorenstein平坦维数,则Gfd_A(M)=Gfd_R(M).此外,证明了若R■S是可分Frobenius扩张,则任意A-模(不一定具有有限Gorenstein平坦维数),其Gorenstein平坦维数沿着该环扩张是不变的.

This article is concerned with the strongly Gorenstein flat dimensions of modules and rings.We show this dimension has nice properties when the ring is coherent,and extend the well-known Hilbert＇s syzygy theorem to the strongly Gorenstein flat dimensions of rings.Also,we investigate the strongly Gorenstein flat dimensions of direct products of rings and（almost）excellent extensions of rings.     

Gorenstein tilting pairs

Abstract

Let A be an n-Gorenstein ring. Employing the theory developed by Enochs on the existence of Gorenstein preenvelopes and precovers, we introduce the concept of Gorenstein tilting pair. Moreover, we give a simple characterization on Gorenstein tilting pair, which shows that Gorenstein cotilting and tilting modules are special examples of Gorenstein tilting pair.     

Coherent Rings and Gorenstein FP-Injective Modules

In this article, Gorenstein FP-injective modules are introduced and investigated. A left R-module M is called Gorenstein FP-injective if there is an exact sequence … → E ₁ → E ₀ → E ⁰ → E ¹ → … of FP-injective left R-modules with M = ker(E ⁰ → E ¹) such that Hom _R (P, ?) leaves the sequence exact whenever P is a finitely presented left R-module with pd _R (P) < ∞. Some properties of Gorenstein FP-injective modules are obtained. Several well-known classes of rings are characterized in terms of Gorenstein FP-injective modules.     

Gorenstein n-X-Injective and n-X-Flat Modules with Respect to a Special Finitely Presented Module

Let R be a ring,X a class of R-modules and n ≥ 1 an integer.We intro-duce the concepts of Gorenstein n-X-injective and n-X-flat modules via special finitely presented modules.Besides,we obtain some equivalent properties of these modules on n-X-coherent rings.Then we investigate the relations among Gorenstein n-X-injective,n-X-flat,injective and fiat modules on X-FC-rings (i.e.,self n-X-injective and n-X-coherent rings).Several known results are generalized to this new context.

Clifford Extensions

Formulating the construction of Clifford algebras, we introduce the notion of Clifford extensions and show that Clifford extensions are Frobenius extensions. Consequently, Clifford extensions of Auslander–Gorenstein rings are Auslander–Gorenstein rings.     

Gorenstein injective envelopes and covers over two sided noetherian rings

We prove that the class of Gorenstein injective modules is both enveloping and covering over a two sided noetherian ring such that the character modules of Gorenstein injective modules are Gorenstein flat. In the second part of the paper we consider the connection between the Gorenstein injective modules and the strongly cotorsion modules. We prove that when the ring R is commutative noetherian of finite Krull dimension, the class of Gorenstein injective modules coincides with that of strongly cotorsion modules if and only if the ring R is in fact Gorenstein.
