In this paper, we mainly investigate the dynamical properties of entire solutions of complex differential equations. With some conditions on coefficients, we prove that the set of common limiting directions of Julia sets of solutions, their derivatives and their primitives must have a definite range of measure.  相似文献

Second-order quasi-linear Dirichlet and Neumann problems in four-term divergent form on a simply connected domain with a Lipschitz-continuous boundary of finite length are considered. Derivatives and primitives of distributions on the boundary are defined in such a way that for sufficiently smooth boundary distributions, these derivatives and primitives coincide with derivatives and primitives with respect to arc length on the boundary. Using these concepts, conjugate problems, that is, a pair of one Dirichlet and one Neumann problem, the minima of the energies of which add to zero, are introduced. From the concept of conjugate problems, two-sided bounds for the energy of the exact solution of any given Dirichlet or Neumann problem are constructed. These two-sided bounds for the energy at the exact solution are in turn used to obtain a posteriori error bounds for the norm of the difference of the approximate and exact solutions of the problem. These a posteriori bounds consist of a constant times the sum of the energies of the approximate solutions of the conjugate Dirichlet and Neumann problems and are easily constructed numerically.  相似文献

Two new analytical formulae expressing explicitly the derivatives of Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds of any degree and of any order in terms of Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds themselves are proved.Two other explicit formulae which express the third and fourth kinds Chebyshev expansion coefficients of a general-order derivative of an infinitely differentiable function in terms of their original expansion coefficients are also given.Two new reduction formulae for summing some terminating hypergeometric functions of unit argument are deduced.As an application of how to use Chebyshev polynomials of the third and fourth kinds for solving high-order boundary value problems,two spectral Galerkin numerical solutions of a special linear twelfth-order boundary value problem are given.  相似文献

This paper provides well-posedness and integral representations of the solutions to nonlinear equations involving generalized Caputo and Riemann–Liouville type fractional derivatives. As particular cases, we study the linear equation with non constant coefficients and the generalized composite fractional relaxation equation. Our approach relies on the probabilistic representation of the solution to the generalized linear problem recently obtained by the authors. These results encompass some known cases in the context of classical fractional derivatives, as well as their far reaching extensions including various mixed derivatives.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the growth and fixed points of solutions and their 1st, 2nd derivatives, differential polynomial of second order linear differential equations with meromorphic coefficients, and obtain that the exponents of convergence of these fixed points are all equal to the order of growth.  相似文献

We investigate the second derivatives L^p-estimates for the strong solutions of second order linear elliptic equations in nondivergencc form Lu = f in the case in which the leading coefficients of L are not continuous. The L^p-estimates for small p are obtained if L is uniformly elliptic. Furthermore, if the leading coefficients of L belong to W^{1,n}, then we get the second derivatives L^p-estimates for large p. The existence of the strong solutions of the homogeneous Dirichlet problem is also considered.  相似文献

渗流方程是拟线性退化抛物型方程。[1—4]讨论了弱解的存在唯一性问题。由于非线性扩散系数有零点,其解可以不光滑。在[5,6]中研究了渗流方程 u_t=(u~m)_(xx),m>1的差分方法问题,对光滑区和弱间断点给以分别处理。渗流方程的解是连续的,但在有些点上导数不存在。因此,不能用Taylor展开估计截断误差的方法证明差分解的收敛性。  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a nonlinear system of reaction diffusion equations arising from mathematical neuroscience and two nonlinear scalar reaction diffusion equations under some assumptions on their coefficients. The main purpose is to couple together linearized stability criterion (the equivalence of the nonlinear stability, the linear stability and the spectral stability of the standing pulse solutions) and Evans functions to accomplish the existence and instability of standing pulse solutions of the nonlinear system of reaction diffusion equations and the nonlinear scalar reaction diffusion equations. We obtain deterministic first-order linear differential equations with ordinary and variational derivatives and deterministic initial conditions for the expectation and the second moment function of the solution of an ordinary scalar first-order linear inhomogeneous differential equation whose coefficients are random processes. In this paper, we obtain the approximate solutions for some nonlinear ordinary differential equations by using the general Jacobi matrix method. Explicit formulae which express the Jacobi expansion coefficients for the powers of derivatives and moments of any differentiable function in terms of the original expansion coefficients of the function itself are given in the matrix form. Recent results reveal that the family of barycentric rational interpolants introduced by Floater and Hormann is very well-suited for the approximation of functions as well as their derivatives, integrals and primitives. Especially in the case of equidistant interpolation nodes, these infinitely smooth interpolants offer a much better choice than their polynomial analogue. A natural and important question concerns the condition of this rational approximation method. In this paper we extend a recent study of the Lebesgue function and constant associated with Berrut’s rational interpolant at equidistant nodes to the family of Floater–Hormann interpolants, which includes the former as a special case.  相似文献

In this article, we derive approximate quasi-interpolants when the values of a function u and of some of its derivatives are prescribed at the points of a uniform grid. As a byproduct of these formulas we obtain very simple approximants, which provide high-order approximations for solutions to elliptic differential equations with constant coefficients.  相似文献
