AN ALGORITHM FOR JORDAN CANONICAL FORM OF A QUATERNION MATRIX

In this paper, we first introduce a concept of companion vector, and study the Jordan canonical forms of quaternion matrices by using the methods of complex rep resentation and companion vector, not only give out a practical algorithm for Jordan canonical form J of a quaternion matrix A, but also provide a practical algorithm for corresponding nonsingular matrix P with P-1AP = J.

DETERMINANTS OF REAL QUATERNION MATRICES

Let Q be the real quaternion field.Let the set of all matrices A=(α_(ij))_(n×m)be Q_(n×m)where α_(ij)∈Q,A~+ be the conjugate transpose of A.Over a long period of time,there have been various kinds of definitions of determinantover the real quaternion field,but all of them are not concerning the entries of thematrix directly,that is"undirectly".From the point of view how the theory of determi-nant is algebraically developed for skew field,it may be worthwhile defined determinant     

ESTIMATES OF THE DOUBLE DETERMINANTS OF QUATERNION MATRICES

An estimate of the upper bound is given for the double determinant of the sum of two arbitrary quaternion matrices, and meanwhile the lower bound on the double determinant is established especially for the sum of two quaternion matrices which form an assortive pair. As applications, some known results are obtained as corollaries and a question in the matrix determinant theory is answered completely.

一类四元数矩阵方程的循环解及其最佳逼近

本文研究了四元数体上矩阵方程XB = C 的循环解及其最佳逼近问题. 利用循环矩阵的结构表示式, 以及四元数矩阵的复分解, 得到了方程XB = C 的循环解存在条件及其通解形式; 在循环矩阵约束条件下, 给出了该方程的最小二乘解集合; 与此同时, 在最小二乘解集合中, 获得与给定四元数循环矩阵的最佳逼近解. 推广了约束矩阵方程的数值求解范围. 数值算例验证了本文算法的可行性.

THE BI-SELF-CONJUGATE AND NONNEGATIVE DEFINITE SOLUTIONS TO THE INVERSE EIGENVALUE PROBLEM OF QUATERNION MATRICES

The main aim of this paper is to discuss the following two problems:λm)∈Hm×m, find A ∈ BSH≥n×n such that AX= X∧, where BSH≥n×n denotes the set of all n × n quaternion matrices which are bi-self-conjugate and nonnegative definite.Problem Ⅱ:Given B ∈ Hn×m, find -B∈SE such that ||B- B||Q = minA∈sE ||B - A||Q,necessary and sufficient conditions for SE being nonempty are obtained. The general form of elements in SE and the expression of the unique solution B of problem Ⅱ are given.     

一类分块反循环矩阵及其对角化问题

1引言分块反循环矩阵在数值分析、优化理论、泛函微分方程、工程力学等学科领域有十分重要的应用,当今电子计算机及计算技术的迅速发展为分块反循环矩阵的应用开辟了更为广阔的前景．本文讨论了分块反循环矩阵的交换性、特征根及对角化问题,得到任一分块反循环矩阵可用一个正交矩阵组线性表示和基本分块反循环矩阵在复数域上可以对角化且相似于对角阵的结论．

In this paper, a constructive proof of singular value decomposition of quaternion matrix is given by using the complex representation and companion vector of quaternion matrix and the computational method is described. As an application of the singular value decomposition, the CS decomposition is proved and the canonical angles on subspaces of Q^n is studied.

对称广义中心对称矩阵模型修正的矩阵逼近法及其扰动性

X,B是实测的位移矩阵和载荷矩阵,C是有限元方法得到的估计矩阵,给出了AX=B的对称广义中心对称矩阵解集合ζ的表达式,对于逼近问题||C-A||F=min A∈ζ||C-A||F的解A,给出了它的表达式并分析了解A的扰动性,数值结果表明方法是行之有效的.     

广义四元数矩阵方程AX-DXB=R

设HF为域F上的广义四元数除环，ChF≠2。本文利用拟线性变换T（X）＝AX－DXB讨论HF上矩阵方程AX－DXB＝R的求解问题，获得了上方程存在（唯一）解的几个充分必要条件，并给出了解的显式公式。     

四元数矩阵方程AXB+CXD=E的广义延拓解

本文在四元数体上讨论矩阵方程AXB+CXD=E的广义行（列）共轭延拓解问题.利用四元数矩阵的复与实分解,以及广义共轭延拓矩阵的结构特点,借助矩阵Kronecker积,把约束四元数矩阵方程转化为实数域上无约束方程,从而得到该方程具有广义行（列）共轭延拓解的充要条件及其通解表达式.最后通过数值算例说明所给算法的可行性.
