The Auxiliary equation method is used to find analytic solutions for the Kawahara and modified Kawahara equations. It is well known that different types of exact solutions of the given auxiliary equation produce new types of exact travelling wave solutions to nonlinear equations. In this paper, new exact solutions of the auxiliary equation are presented. Using these solutions, many new exact travelling wave solutions for the Kawahara type equations are obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, a new approximate method has been presented to solve the linear Volterra integral equation systems (VIEs). This method transforms the integral system into the matrix equation with the help of Taylor series. By merging these results, a new system which corresponds to a system of linear algebraic equations is obtained. The solution of this system yields the Taylor coefficients of the solution function. Also, this method gives the analytic solution when the exact solutions are polynomials. So as to show this capability and robustness, some systems of VIEs are solved by the presented method in order to obtain their approximate solutions.  相似文献

In this work, two generalized breaking soliton equations, namely, the Bogoyavlenskii’s breaking soliton equation and its extended form, are examined. The complete integrability of these equation are justified. Multiple soliton solutions and multiple singular soliton solutions are formally derived for each equation. The additional terms of these equations do not kill the integrability of the typical breaking soliton equation. The Cole-Hopf transformation method and the simplified Hereman’s method are applied to conduct this analysis.  相似文献

In this paper, the extended Riccati equation mapping method is proposed to seek exact solutions of variable-coefficient nonlinear evolution equations. Being concise and straightforward, this method is applied to certain type of variable-coefficient diffusion-reaction equation and variable-coefficient mKdV equation. By means of this method, hyperbolic function solutions and trigonometric function solutions are obtained with the aid of symbolic computation. It is shown that the proposed method is effective, direct and can be used for many other variable-coefficient nonlinear evolution equations.  相似文献

In this research, the lump solution, which is rationally localized and decays along the directions of space variables, of a 2D Toda equation is studied. The effective method of constructing the lump solutions of this 2D Toda equation is derived, and the constraint conditions that make the lump solutions analytical and positive are obtained as well. Finally, three classes of lump solutions are constructed, 3D plots, density plots, and contour plots are given to illustrate this proposed method.  相似文献

In this article, the Exp‐function method is applied to nonlinear Burgers equation and special fifth‐order partial differential equation. Using this method, we obtain exact solutions for these equations. The method is straightforward and concise, and its applications are promising. In this paper we consider a special fifth-order KdV equation with constant coefficients and we obtain traveling wave solutions for it, using the projective Riccati equation method. By mean of a scaling, exact solutions to general Kaup-Kupershmidt (KK) equation are obtained. As a particular case, exact solutions to standard KK equation can be derived. Using the same method, we obtain exact solutions to standard Ito equation. By mean of scaling, new exact solutions to general Ito equation are formally derived.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a multidimensional nonisentropic hydrodynamic (Euler-Poisson) model for semiconductors. We study the convergence of the nonisentropic Euler-Poisson equation to the incompressible nonisentropic Euler type equation via the quasi-neutral limit. The local existence of smooth solutions to the limit equations is proved by an iterative scheme. The method of asymptotic expansion and energy methods are used to rigorously justify the convergence of the limit.  相似文献

The autoconvolution equation of the third kind with coefficient of general power type is dealt with by the method of weighted norms developed for equations with coefficients of linear and integer power type in recent joint work of the author with L. Berg, J. Janno, and B. Hofmann. For this equation two existence theorems and a uniqueness theorem are proved. Further, as an auxiliary equation a linear singular integral equation of Abel is treated anew and the existence of solutions to a related class of linear Volterra equations of the third kind is derived.  相似文献

The standard technique for solving equations with radicals is to square both sides of the equation as many times as necessary to eliminate all radicals. Because the procedure violates logical equivalence, it results in extraneous solutions that do not satisfy the original equation, making it necessary to check all solutions against the original equation. We propose alternative solution procedures that are rigorous and simple to execute where the extraneous solutions can be identified without verification against the original equation. In this article, we review previous literature, establish and illustrate rigorous solution procedures for radical equations of depth 1 (i.e. equations where all radicals can be eliminated in one step), and deal with an ambiguity concerning the definition of real-valued solutions to radical equations. An application to defining the inverse function, resulting in a parametric radical equation, is also explained.  相似文献

In this paper, a new generalized compound Riccati equations rational expansion method (GCRERE) is proposed. Compared with most existing rational expansion methods and other sophisticated methods, the proposed method is not only recover some known solutions, but also find some new and general complexiton solutions. Being concise and straightforward, it is applied to the (2+1)-dimensional Burgers equation. As a result, eight families of new exact analytical solutions for this equation are found. We investigate stationary and travelling wave solutions of a special lattice differential equation in one space dimension. Depending on a parameter λ, results are given on the existence, shape and stability for these kind of solutions. The analysis of travelling wave solutions leads us to a functional differential equation with both forward and backward shifts. The existence of solutions of this equation will be proved by use of the implicit function theorem. In particular, we consider kink solutions and periodic solutions.  相似文献

By using solutions of an ordinary differential equation, an auxiliary equation method is described to seek exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations with variable coefficients. Being concise and straightforward, this method is applied to the mKdV equation with variable coefficients. In this paper, we apply He''s Variational iteration method (VIM) for solving nonlinear Newell-Whitehead-Segel equation. By using this method three different cases of Newell-Whitehead-Segel equation have been discussed. Comparison of the obtained result with exact solutions shows that the method used is an effective and highly promising method for solving different cases of nonlinear Newell-Whitehead-Segel equation.  相似文献
