In this paper we investigate the problem of partial synchronization in diffusively coupled chemical chaotic oscillators with zero-flux boundary conditions. The dynamical properties of the chemical system which oscillates with Uniform Phase evolution, yet has Chaotic Amplitudes (UPCA) are first discussed. By combining numerical and analytical methods, the impossibility of full global synchronization in a network of two or three coupled chemical oscillators is discovered. Mathematically, stable partial synchronization corresponds to convergence to a linear invariant manifold of the global state space. The sufficient conditions for exponential stability of the invariant manifold in a network of three coupled chemical oscillators are obtained via the nonlinear contraction principle.  相似文献

In this paper,the authors investigate the synchronization of an array of linearly coupled identical dynamical systems with a delayed coupling.Here the coupling matrix can be asymmetric and reducible.Some criteria ensuring delay-independent and delay- dependent global synchronization are derived respectively.It is shown that if the coupling delay is less than a positive threshold,then the coupled network will be synchronized.On the other hand,with the increase of coupling delay,the synchronization stability of the network will be restrained,even eventually de-synchronized.  相似文献

The dynamical system arising in the study of nonlinear oscillations of a number of coupled Berger plates is considered. The dependence of the long-time behavior of the trajectories of the system on the properties of the coupling operator is studied. It is shown that the global attractor of the dynamical system is continuous with respect to the coupling parameter γ expressing the intensity of plate interaction. When γ→∞ it converges upper semicontinuously to the attractor of the system generated by the projection of the vector field of the coupled system on the kernel of the coupling operator. For the particular case of 3-diagonal coupling operator the synchronization phenomenon at the level of attractors is stated for large values of γ as well as the absence of synchronization for γ small. The case of cluster synchronization is also considered.  相似文献

This article considers a coupled system of nonlinear parabolic and hyperbolic partial differential equations which arises in the study of wave phenomena which are heat generating or temperature related. Under appropriate conditions, for example high thermal diffusivity, it is proved that there exists an invariant manifold for the full system of equations. The asymptotic stability of the invariant manifold is also considered. Moreover, it is shown that an equilibrium which is asymptotically stable for flows on the invariant manifold will be asymptotically stable for the full system.  相似文献

证明了两个不同的混沌系统线性耦合时能实现广义同步化,在一定条件下广义同步化流形是Holder连续的.采用的思想是Temam的无穷维动力系统的惯性流形理论的改进.在线性耦合下两个混沌系统具有吸收集和吸引子的基础上,通过定义在一个函数类上的映射满足Schauder不动点定理,从而得到广义同步化流形,该广义同步化流形具有不变性.又证明了存在分数维的指数吸引子,指数吸引子与广义同步流形的交集具有指数吸引性.数值仿真证实了理论的正确性.在驱动系统和响应系统外引入辅助系统,辅助系统与响应系统的完全同步化表明了驱动系统和响应系统的广义同步化.  相似文献

The wavelet transform method originated by Wei et al. (2002) [19] is an effective tool for enhancing the transverse stability of the synchronous manifold of a coupled chaotic system. Much of the theoretical study on this matter is centered on networks that are symmetrically coupled. However, in real applications, the coupling topology of a network is often asymmetric; see Belykh et al. (2006)  [23], [24], Chavez et al. (2005)  [25], Hwang et al. (2005)  [26], Juang et al. (2007)  [17], and Wu (2003)  [13]. In this work, a certain type of asymmetric sparse connection topology for networks of coupled chaotic systems is presented. Moreover, our work here represents the first step in understanding how to actually control the stability of global synchronization from dynamical chaos for asymmetrically connected networks of coupled chaotic systems via the wavelet transform method. In particular, we obtain the following results. First, it is shown that the lower bound for achieving synchrony of the coupled chaotic system with the wavelet transform method is independent of the number of nodes. Second, we demonstrate that the wavelet transform method as applied to networks of coupled chaotic systems is even more effective and controllable for asymmetric coupling schemes as compared to the symmetric cases.  相似文献

In this paper we first investigate the system with the inftuence of delay and migration and give a theoretical analysis of the alternative change of the stability discovered by Stepan with computer program, then we reduce the system with the center manifold theorem and present an approximation form of Hopf bifurcation solutions. This paper addresses dynamic synchronization of two FitzHugh-Nagumo (FHN) systems coupled with gap junctions. All the states of the coupled chaotic system, treating either as single-input or two-input control system, are synchronized by stabilizing their error dynamics, using simplest and locally robust control laws. The local asymptotic stability, chosen by utilizing the local Lipschitz nonlinear property of the model to address additionally the non-failure of the achieved synchronization, is ensured by formulating the matrix inequalities on the basis of Lyapunov stability theory. In the presence of disturbances, it ensures the local uniform ultimate boundedness. Furthermore, the robustness of the proposed methods is ensured against bounded disturbances besides providing the upper bound on disturbances. To the best of our knowledge, this is the computationally simplest solution for synchronization of coupled FHN modeled systems along with unique advantages of less conservative local asymptotic stability of synchronization errors with robustness. Numerical simulations are carried out to successfully validate the proposed control strategies.  相似文献

Effects of synchronization in a system of two coupled oscillators with time-delayed feedback are investigated. Phase space of a system with time delay is infinite-dimensional. Thus, the picture of synchronization in such systems acquires many new features not inherent to finite-dimensional ones. A picture of oscillation modes in cases of identical and non-identical coupled oscillators is studied in detail. Periodical structure of amplitude death and “broadband synchronization” zones is investigated. Such a behavior occurs due to the resonances between different modes of the infinite-dimensional system with time delay.  相似文献

This paper mainly investigates synchronization of complex dynamical networks (CDNs) with both system delay and coupled delay through distributed delayed impulsive control. Instead of constraining the impulsive weight and impulsive delay one by one, a new concept of average delayed impulsive weight is proposed to obtain more relaxed conditions. Subsequently, based on the impulsive control topology, Lyapunov theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) design, certain flexible criteria of global exponential synchronization (GES) are given and the corresponding convergence rate is estimated. It is interesting to see that the CDNs can still achieve synchronization under comprehensive conditions though impulsive weights work negatively. Namely, the delays in impulsive control are able to promote synchronization potentially. Finally, simulations are given to show that the distributed delayed impulsive control can not only speeds up the convergence rate for synchronized networks, but also facilitates synchronization for desynchronized networks. In addition, the obtained results can be applied to unmanned craft systems.  相似文献

In this paper we study Einstein-Weyl structures in the framework of contact metric manifolds. First, we prove that a complete K-contact manifold admitting both the Einstein-Weyl structures W ± = (g, ±ω) is Sasakian. Next, we show that a compact contact metric manifold admitting an Einstein-Weyl structure is either K-contact or the dual field of ω is orthogonal to the Reeb vector field, provided the Reeb vector field is an eigenvector of the Ricci operator. We also prove that a contact metric manifold admitting both the Einstein-Weyl structures and satisfying is either K-contact or Einstein. Finally, a couple of results on contact metric manifold admitting an Einstein-Weyl structure W = (g, f η) are presented.   相似文献

This paper investigates the hybrid synchronization problem of two coupled complex networks. Employing the linear feedback and the adaptive feedback control methods which are simple, efficient, and easy to implement in practical applications, we obtain some useful criteria of the hybrid synchronization of two coupled networks based on the Lyapunov stability theory and Lasalle’s invariance principle. It shows that under suitable conditions, two coupled complex networks can realize an intriguing hybrid synchronization: the outer anti-synchronization between the driving network and the response network, and the inner complete synchronization in the driving network and the response network, respectively. Numerical simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed hybrid synchronization scheme.  相似文献

We establish soliton-like asymptotics for finite energy solutions to the Dirac equation coupled to a relativistic particle. Any solution with initial state close to the solitary manifold, converges in long time limit to a sum of traveling wave and outgoing free wave. The convergence holds in global energy norm. The general difference schemes for the first boundary problem of the fully nonlinear parabolic systems of second order f(x, t, u, u_x, u_{xx}, u_t) = 0 are considered in the rectangular domain Q_T = {0 ≤ x ≤ l, 0 ≤ t ≤ T}, where u(x, t) and f(x, t, u, p, r, q) are two m-dimensional vector functions with m ≥ 1 for (x, t) ∈ Q_T and u, p, r, q ∈ R^m. The existence and the estimates of solutions for the finite difference system are established by the fixed point technique. The absolute and relative stability and convergence of difference schemes are justified by means of a series of a priori estimates. In the present study, the existence of unique smooth solution of the original problem is assumed. The similar results for nonlinear and quasilinear parabolic systems are also obtained.  相似文献

This paper investigates the adaptive synchronization between two nonlinearly delay-coupled complex networks with the bidirectional actions and nonidentical topological structures. Based on LaSalle’s invariance principle, some criteria for the synchronization between two coupled complex networks are achieved via adaptive control. To validate the proposed methods, the unified chaotic system as the nodes of the networks are analyzed in detail, and numerical simulations are given to illustrate the theoretical results.  相似文献
