Dirac cohomology of unitary representations of equal rank exceptional groups

In this paper, we consider the unitary representations of equal rank exceptional groups of type E with a regular lambda-lowest K-type and classify those unitary representations with the nonzero Dirac cohomology.     

TYPE I REPRESENTATIONS OF (QUANTUM ALGEBRA H_q(4) FOR q-OSCILLATORS SYSTEM

After giving a brief review of H_q(4) and SU_q(2) quantum algebras and their relationship, Ⅰ work out the type Ⅰ representations of H_q (4) quantum algebra for the case q being a root of unity, these representations are reducible but indecomposable.     

Double-bosonization and Majid’s conjecture (IV): Type-crossings from A to BCD

Both in Majid's double-bosonization theory and in Rosso's quantum shuffle theory, the rankinductive and type-crossing construction for U_q(g)'s is still a remaining open question. In this paper, working in Majid's framework, based on the generalized double-bosonization theorem we proved before, we further describe explicitly the type-crossing construction of U_q(g)'s for(BCD)_n series directly from type An-1via adding a pair of dual braided groups determined by a pair of(R, R′)-matrices of type A derived from the respective suitably chosen representations. Combining with our results of the first three papers of this series, this solves Majid's conjecture, i.e., any quantum group U_q(g) associated to a simple Lie algebra g can be grown out of U_q(sl_2)recursively by a series of suitably chosen double-bosonization procedures.     

ON THE BOREL SUBGROUPS OF LARGE TYPE

The author defines the large type Borel subgroups of a reductive algebraic group, which are used to discuss Langlands' L-groups and the Langlands classification of the admissible representations of reductive algebraic groups over R (see [1, 2, 5])and determine all of the Borel subgroups of large type for the classical semisimple Lie groups.     

A ■_n-Related Family of Homotopy Elements in the Stable Homotopy of Spheres

To determine the stable homotopy groups of spheres π_*(S) is one of the central problems in homotopy theory. Let p be a prime greater than 5. The authors make use of the May spectral sequence and the Adams spectral sequence to prove the existence of a ■_n-related family of homotopy elements, β1ω_nγ_s, in the stable homotopy groups of spheres, where ■_n 3, 3≤s p-2 and the ■_n-element was detected by X. Liu.     

Skew-commutator relations and Gröbner-Shirshov basis of quantum group of type F 4

We give a Grobner-Shirshov basis of quantum group of type F4 by using the Ringel-Hall algebra approach. We compute all skew-commutator relations between the isoclasses of indecomposable representations of Ringel- Hall algebras of type F4 by using an ＇inductive＇ method. Precisely, we do not use the traditional way of computing the skew-commutative relations, that is first compute all Hall polynomials then compute the corresponding skew- commutator relations; instead, we compute the ＇easier＇ skew-commutator relations which correspond to those exact sequences with middle term indecomposable or the split exact sequences first, then ＇deduce＇ others from these ＇easier＇ ones and this in turn gives Hall polynomials as a byproduct. Then using the composition-diamond lemma prove that the set of these relations constitute a minimal CrSbner-Shirshov basis of the positive part of the quantum group of type F4. Dually, we get a Grobner-Shirshov basis of the negative part of the quantum group of type F4. And finally, we give a Gr6bner-Shirshov basis for the whole quantum group of type F4.     

ALMOST CONVERGENCE AND DOUBLE SEQUENTIAL BAND MATRIX

The class f of almost convergent sequences was introduced by G.G. Lorentz,using the idea of the anach limits [A contribution to the theory of divergent sequences,Acta Math. 80(1948), 167–190]. Let f0( ) and f( ) be the domain of the double sequential band matrix ( r, s) in the sequence spaces f0 and f. In this article, the β-and γ-duals of the space f( ) are determined. Additionally, we give some inclusion theorems concerning with the spaces f0( ) and f( ). Moreover, the classes(f( ) : μ) and(μ : f( )) of infinite matrices are characterized, and the characterizations of some other classes are also given as an application of those main results, where μ is an arbitrary sequence space.     

ON THE APPROXIMAMATION OF DIFFERENTIABLE FUNCTIONS BY EULER MEANS

Let f∈C_(2π)~r.Denote by _n(f,x)the n-th Euler mean of f(x).This paper gives theasympto ic representations of the deviation _n(f,x)-f(x)and the quantity | _a(f,x)-f(x)|.Additionally,some applications of these asymptotic representations are obtained.     

Coxian representations of generalized Erlang distributions

This paper studies Coxian representations of generalized Erlang distributions. A nonlinear program is derived for computing the parameters of minimal Coxian representations of generalized Erlang distributions. The nonlinear program is also used to characterize the triangular order and the admissible region of generalized Erlang distributions. It is shown that the admissible region associated with a triangular order may not be convex. For generalized Erlang distributions of ME-order 3, a minimal Coxian representation is found explicitly. In addition, an algorithm is developed for computing a special type of ordered Coxian representations - the bivariate Coxian representation - for generalized Erlang distributions.     

REPRESENTATIONS OF AFFINE HECKEALGE BRAS OF TYPE G2

Let k be a field and q a nonzero element in k such that the square roots of q are in k. We use Hq to denote an affne Hecke algebra over k of type G2 with parameter q. The purpose of this paper is to study representations of Hq by using based rings of two-sided cells of an affne Weyl group W of type G2. We shall give the classification of irreducible representations of Hq. We also remark that a calculation in [11] actually shows that Theorem 2 in [1] needs a modification, a fact is known to Grojnowski and Tanisaki long time ago. In this paper we also show an interesting relation between Hq and an Hecke algebra corresponding to a certain Coxeter group. Apparently the idea in this paper works for all affne Weyl groups, but that is the theme of another paper.     

On Local Descent to Metaplectic Groups and Local Theta Correspondence

Let F be a p-adic field of characteristic 0.We study a twisted local descent construction for the metaplectic groups Sp_(2 n)(F),and also its relation to the corresponding local descent construction for odd special orthogonal groups via local theta correspondence.In consequence,we show that this descent construction gives irreducible supercuspidal genuine representations of Sp_(2n)(-F) parametrized by a simple local L-parameter φ_τ corresponding to an irreducible supercuspidal representation τ of GL_(2n)(F) of symplectic type,and the genericity of the representations constructed can be indicated by a local epsilon factor condition.In particular,this local descent construction recovers the local Shimura correspondence for supercuspidal representations.     

On the Hermite interpolation

Explicit representations for the Hermite interpolation and their derivatives of any order are provided.Furthermore,suppose that the interpolated function f has continuous derivatives of sufficiently high order on some sufficiently small neighborhood of a given point x and any group of nodes are also given on the neighborhood.If the derivatives of any order of the Hermite interpolation polynomial of f at the point x are applied to approximating the corresponding derivatives of the function f(x),the asymptotic representations for the remainder are presented.     

Invariant properties of representations under cleft extensions

The main aim of this paper is to give the invariant properties of representations of algebras under cleft extensions over a semisimple Hopf algebra. Firstly, we explain the concept of the cleft extension and give a relation between the cleft extension and the crossed product which is the approach we depend upon. Then, by making use of them, we prove that over an algebraically closed field k, for a finite dimensional Hopf algebra H which is semisimple as well as its dual H*, the representation type of an algebra is an invariant property under a finite dimensional H-cleft extension . In the other part, we still show that over an arbitrary field k, the Nakayama property of a k-algebra is also an invariant property under an H -cleft extension when the radical of the algebra is H-stable.     

Convergence of the q Analogue of Szász-Beta-Stancu Operators

In the present paper, we propose the q analogue of Sz a′sz-Beta-Stancu operators. By estimate the moments, we establish direct results in terms of the modulus of smoothness. Investigate the rate of point-wise convergence and weighted approximation properties of the q operators. Voronovskaja type theorem is also obtained.Our results generalize and supplement some convergence results of the q-Sz a′sz-Beta operators, thus they improve the existing results.     

A General Version of the Retract Method for Discrete Equations

We study a problem concerning the compulsory behavior of the solutions of systems of discrete equations u（k ＋ 1） = F（k, u（k））, k ∈ N（a） = {a, a ＋ 1, a ＋ 2 }, a ∈ N,N= {0, 1,... } and F ： N（a） × R^n→R^n. A general principle for the existence of at least one solution with graph staying for every k ∈ N（a） in a previously prescribed domain is formulated. Such solutions are defined by means of the corresponding initial data and their existence is proved by means of retract type approach. For the development of this approach a notion of egress type points lying on the defined boundary of a given domain and with respect to the system considered is utilized. Unlike previous investigations, the boundary can contain points which are not points of egress type, too. Examples are inserted to illustrate the obtained result.     

Calculating the Fundamental Group of Galois Cover of the(2, 3)-embedding of CP~1× T

As known to all,it is quite difficult to compute the fundamental group of a surface of general type.In this paper,applying Moishezon-Teicher's algorithm,we investigate the fundamental group of a special surface of general type with zero topological index,namely,the Galois cover of the(2,3)-embedding of CP~1×T.Because the full presentation of the group is very complicated,we compute its special quotient and get an interesting result about its structure.     

Irreducible Wakimoto-like Modules for the Lie Superalgebra D(2,1;α)

By using the idea of Wakimoto's free field,we construct a class of representations for the Lie superalgebra D(2,1;α) on the tensor product of a polynomial algebra and an exterior algebra involving one parameter λ.Then we obtain the necessary and sufficient condition for the representations to be irreducible.In fact,the representation is irreducible if and only if the parameter λ satisfies(λ + m)(λ-(1+α)/αm) = 0 for any m∈Z_+.     

IRREDUCIBLE REPRESENTATIONS FOR THE AFFINE-VIRASORO LIE ALGEBRA OF TYPE B_l

An explicit construction of irreducible representations for the affine-Virasoro Liealgebra of type B_l, through the use of vertex operators and certain oscillator represen-tations of the Virasoro algebra, is given.
