We describe herein an original approach for the efficient immortal ring-opening polymerization (iROP) of trimethylene carbonate (TMC) under mild conditions using dual-catalyst systems combining a discrete cationic metal complex with a tertiary amine. A series of new zinc and magnesium cationic complexes of the type [{NNO}M](+) [anion](-) ({NNO}(-) = 2,4-di-tert-butyl-6-{[(2'-dimethylaminoethyl)methylamino]methyl}phenolate; M = Zn, [anion](-) = [B(C(6)F(5))(4)](-) (2), [H(2)N-{B(C(6)F(5))(3)}(2)](-) (3), and [EtB(C(6)F(5))(3)](-) (4); M = Mg, [anion](-) = [H(2)N{B(C(6)F(5))(3)}(2)](-) (7)) have been prepared from the corresponding neutral compounds [{NNO}ZnEt] (1) and [{NNO}-Mg(nBu)] (6). Compounds 2-4 and 7 exist as free ion pairs, as revealed by (1)H, (13)C, (19)F, and (11) B?NMR spectroscopy in THF solution, and an X-ray crystallographic analysis of the bis(THF) adduct of compound 7, 7?(THF)(2). The neutral complexes 1 and 6, in combination with one equivalent or an excess of benzyl alcohol (BnOH), initiate the rapid iROP of TMC, in bulk or in toluene solution, at 45-60?°C (turnover frequency, TOF, up to 25-30,000?mol(TMC)?mol(Zn)?h(-1) for 1 and 220-240,000?mol(TMC)?mol(Mg)?h(-1) for 6), to afford H-PTMC-OBn with controlled macromolecular features. ROP reactions mediated by the cationic systems 2/BnOH and 7/BnOH proceeded much more slowly (TOF up to 500 and 3000?mol(TMC)?mol(Zn or Mg)?h(-1) at 110?°C) than those based on the parent neutral compounds 1/BnOH and 6/BnOH, respectively. Use of original dual organic/organometallic catalyst systems, obtained by adding 0.2-5?equiv of a tertiary amine such as NEt(3) to zinc cationic complexes [{NNO}Zn](+) [anion](-) (2-4), promoted high activities (TOF up to 18,300?mol(TMC)?mol(Zn)?h(-1) at 45?°C) giving H-PTMC-OBn with good control over the M(n) and M(w)/M(n) values. Variation of the nature of the anion in 2-4 did not significantly affect the performance of these catalyst systems. On the other hand, the dual magnesium-based catalyst system 7/NEt(3) proved to be poorly effective.  相似文献

The first solvent‐free cationic complexes of the divalent rare‐earth metals, [{RO}REII]+[A]? (REII=YbII, 1 ; EuII, 2 ) and [{LO}REII]+[A]? ([A]?=[H2N{B(C6F5)3}2]?; REII=YbII, 3 ; EuII, 4 ), have been prepared by using highly chelating monoanionic aminoether‐fluoroalkoxide ({RO}?) and aminoether‐phenolate ({LO}?) ligands. Complexes 1 and 2 are structurally related to their alkaline‐earth analogues [{RO}AE]+[A]? (AE=Ca, 5 ; Sr, 6 ). Yet, the two families behave very differently during catalysis of the ring‐opening polymerization (ROP) of L ‐lactide (L ‐LA) and trimethylene carbonate (TMC) performed under immortal conditions with excess BnOH as an exogenous chain‐transfer agent. The ligand was found to strongly influence the behavior of the REII complexes during ROP catalysis. The fluoroalkoxide REII catalysts 1 and 2 are not oxidized under ROP conditions, and compare very favorably with their Ca and Sr congeners 5 and 6 in terms of activity (turnover frequency (TOF) in the range 200–400 molL‐LA (molEu h?1)) and control over the parameters during the immortal ROP of L ‐LA (Mn,theorMn,SEC, Mw/Mn<1.05). The EuII‐phenolate 4 provided one of the most effective ROP cationic systems known to date for L ‐LA polymerization, exhibiting high activity (TOF up to 1 880 molL‐LA?(molEu h)?1) and good control (Mw/Mn=1.05). By contrast, upon addition of L ‐LA the YbII‐phenolate 3 immediately oxidizes to inactive REIII species. Yet, the cyclic carbonate TMC was rapidly polymerized by combinations of 3 (or even 1 ) and BnOH, revealing excellent activities (TOF=5000–7000 molTMC?(molEu h)?1) and unusually high control (Mn,theorMn,SEC, Mw/Mn<1.09); under identical conditions, the calcium derivative 5 was entirely inert toward TMC. Based on experimental and kinetic data, a new ligand‐assisted activated monomer ROP mechanism is suggested, in which the so‐called ancillary ligand plays a crucial role in the catalytic cycle. A coherent reaction pathway computed by DFT, compatible with the experimental data, supports the proposed scenario.  相似文献

New Ti and Zr complexes that bear imine–phenoxy chelate ligands, [{2,4‐di‐tBu‐6‐(RCH=N)‐C6H4O}2MCl2] ( 1 : M=Ti, R=Ph; 2 : M=Ti, R=C6F5; 3 : M=Zr, R=Ph; 4 : M=Zr, R=C6F5), were synthesized and investigated as precatalysts for ethylene polymerization. 1H NMR spectroscopy suggests that these complexes exist as mixtures of structural isomers. X‐ray crystallographic analysis of the adduct 1 ?HCl reveals that it exists as a zwitterionic complex in which H and Cl are situated in close proximity to one of the imine nitrogen atoms and the central metal, respectively. The X‐ray molecular structure also indicates that one imine phenoxy group with the syn C?N configuration functions as a bidentate ligand, whereas the other, of the anti C?N form, acts as a monodentate phenoxy ligand. Although Zr complexes 3 and 4 with methylaluminoxane (MAO) or [Ph3C]+[B(C6F5)4]?/AliBu3 displayed moderate activity, the Ti congeners 1 and 2 , in association with an appropriate activator, catalyzed ethylene polymerization with high efficiency. Upon activation with MAO at 25 °C, 2 displayed a very high activity of 19900 (kg PE) (mol Ti)?1 h?1, which is comparable to that for [Cp2TiCl2] and [Cp2ZrCl2], although increasing the polymerization temperature did result in a marked decrease in activity. Complex 2 contains a C6F5 group on the imine nitrogen atom and mediated nonliving‐type polymerization, unlike the corresponding salicylaldimine‐type complex. Conversely, with [Ph3C]+[B(C6F5)4]?/AliBu3 activation, 1 exhibited enhanced activity as the temperature was increased (25–75 °C) and maintained very high activity for 60 min at 75 °C (18740 (kg PE) (mol Ti)?1 h?1). 1H NMR spectroscopic studies of the reaction suggest that this thermally robust catalyst system generates an amine–phenoxy complex as the catalytically active species. The combinations 1 /[Ph3C]+[B(C6F5)4]?/AliBu3 and 2 /MAO also worked as high‐activity catalysts for the copolymerization of ethylene and propylene.  相似文献

A new series of nitro‐substituted bis(imino)pyridine ligands {2,6‐bis[1‐(2‐methyl‐4‐nitrophenylimino)ethyl]pyridine, 2,6‐bis[1‐(4‐nitrophenylimino)ethyl]pyridine, (1‐{6‐[1‐(4‐nitro‐phenylimino)‐ethyl]‐pyridin‐2‐yl}‐ethylidene)‐(2,4,6‐trimethyl‐phenyl)‐amine, and 2,6‐bis[1‐(2‐methyl‐3‐nitrophenylimino)ethyl]pyridine} and their corresponding Fe(II) complexes [{p‐NO2? o‐Me? Ph? N?C(Me)? Py? C(Me)?N? Ph? o‐ Me? p‐NO2}FeCl2 ( 10 ), L2FeCl2 ( 11 ), {m‐NO2? o‐Me? Ph? N?C(Me)? Py? C(Me)?N? Ph? o‐Me? m‐NO2}FeCl2 ( 12 ), and {p‐NO2? Ph? N?C(Me)? Py? C(Me)?N? Mes}FeCl2 ( 14 )] were synthesized. According to X‐ray analysis, there were shortenings of the axial Fe? N bond lengths (up to 0.014 Å) in para‐nitro‐substituted complex 10 and (up to 0.015 Å) in meta‐nitro‐substituted complex 12 versus the Fe(II) complex without nitro groups [{o‐Me? Ph? N?C(Me)? Py? C(Me)?N? Ph? o‐Me}FeCl2 ( 1 )]. Complexes 10 , 12 , and 14 afforded very active catalysts for the production of α‐olefins and were more temperature‐stable and had longer lifetimes than parent non‐nitro‐substituted Fe(II) complex 1 . The reaction between FeCl2 and a sterically less hindered ligand [p‐NO2? Ph? N?C(Me)? Py? C(Me)?N? Ph? p‐NO2] resulted in the formation of octahedral complex 11 . A para‐dialkylamino‐substituted bis(imino)pyridine ligand [p‐NEt2? o‐Me? Ph? N?C(Me)? Py? C(Me)?N? Ph? o‐Me? p‐NEt2] and the corresponding Fe(II) complex [{p‐NEt2? o‐Me? Ph? N?C(Me)? Py? C(Me)?N? Ph? o‐Me? p‐NEt2}FeCl2 ( 16 )] were synthesized to evaluate the effect of enhanced electron donation of the ligand on the catalytic performance. According to X‐ray analysis, there was a shortening (up to 0.043 Å) of the axial Fe? N bond lengths in para‐diethylamino‐substituted complex 16 in comparison with parent Fe(II) complex 1 . © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 44: 2615–2635, 2006  相似文献

The long‐persistent phosphorescent metal–organic framework (MOF) is a kind of highly desirable but rare material. Here, two new molecular MOF materials, {[Zn(tipa)Cl] ? NO3 ? 2 DMF}n ( 1 ) and {[Cd2(tipa)2Cl4] ? 6 DMF}n ( 2 ) (tipa=tri(4‐imidazolylphenyl)amine), which have 3D twofold interpenetrated ( utp ) and 2D noninterpenetrated ( kgd ) topologies, respectively, are reported. They exhibit unexpected long‐persistent emissions yet reported: At 77 K, they persist in glowing after stopping the UV irradiation on a timescale up to seconds at 77 K, which can be detected by the naked eye (ca. 2 s). Compounds 1 and 2 also undergo single‐crystal‐to‐single‐crystal (SC‐SC) transformations through different routes; a simple anion‐exchange route for 1 and a complicated replacement of μ1‐Cl? ions by DMF molecules accompanying I3? captured in the void for 2 .  相似文献

Ion‐like ethylzinc(II) compounds with weakly coordinating aluminates [Al(ORF)4]? and [(RFO)3Al‐F‐Al(ORF)3]? (RF=C(CF3)3) were synthesized in a one‐pot reaction and fully characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, NMR and vibrational spectroscopy, and by quantum chemical calculations. The catalytic activity of ion‐like Et‐Zn[Al(ORF)4] in intermolecular hydroamination and in the unusual double hydroamination of anilines and alkynes was investigated. Favorable performance was also found in comparison to the Et2Zn/ [PhNMe2H]+[B(C6F5)4]? system generated in situ at lower catalyst loadings of 2.5 mol %.  相似文献

Several new heteroleptic SnII complexes supported by amino‐ether phenolate ligands [Sn{LOn}(Nu)] (LO1=2‐[(1,4,7,10‐tetraoxa‐13‐azacyclopentadecan‐13‐yl)methyl]‐4,6‐di‐tert‐butylphenolate, Nu=NMe2 ( 1 ), N(SiMe3)2 ( 3 ), OSiPh3 ( 6 ); LO2=2,4‐di‐tert‐butyl‐6‐(morpholinomethyl)phenolate, Nu=N(SiMe3)2 ( 7 ), OSiPh3 ( 8 )) and the homoleptic Sn{LO1}2 ( 2 ) have been synthesized. The alkoxy derivatives [Sn{LO1}(OR)] (OR=OiPr ( 4 ), (S)‐OCH(CH3)CO2iPr ( 5 )), which were generated by alcoholysis of the parent amido precursor, were stable in solution but could not be isolated. [Sn{LO1}]+[H2N{B(C6F5)3}2]? ( 9 ), a rare well‐defined, solvent‐free tin cation, was prepared in high yield. The X‐ray crystal structures of compounds 3 , 6 , and 8 were elucidated, and compounds 3 , 6 , 8 , and 9 were further characterized by 119Sn Mössbauer spectroscopy. In the presence of iPrOH, compounds 1 – 5 , 7 , and 9 catalyzed the well‐controlled, immortal ring‐opening polymerization (iROP) of L ‐lactide (L ‐LA) with high activities (ca. 150–550 molL?LA molSn?1 h?1) for tin(II) complexes. The cationic compound 9 required a higher temperature (100 °C) than the neutral species (60 °C); monodisperse poly(L ‐LA)s were obtained in all cases. The activities of the heteroleptic pre‐catalysts 1 , 3 , and 7 were virtually independent of the nature of the ancillary ligand, and, most strikingly, the homoleptic complex 2 was equally competent as a pre‐catalyst. Polymerization of trimethylene carbonate (TMC) occurs much more slowly, and not at all in the presence of LA; therefore, the generation of PLA‐PTMC copolymers is only possible if TMC is polymerized first. Mechanistic studies based on 1H and 119Sn{1H} NMR spectroscopy showed that the addition of an excess of iPrOH to compound 3 yielded a mixture of compound 4 , compound [Sn(OiPr)2]n 10 , and free {LO1}H in a dynamic temperature‐dependent and concentration‐dependent equilibrium. Upon further addition of L ‐LA, two active species were detected, [Sn{LO1}(OPLLA)] ( 12 ) and [Sn(OPLLA)2] ( 14 ), which were also in fast equilibrium. Based on assignment of the 119Sn{1H} NMR spectrum, all of the species present in the ROP reaction were identified; starting from either the heteroleptic ( 1 , 3 , 7 ) or homoleptic ( 2 ) pre‐catalysts, both types of pre‐catalysts yielded the same active species. The catalytic inactivity of the siloxy derivative 6 confirmed that ROP catalysts of the type 1 – 5 could not operate according to an activated‐monomer mechanism. These mechanistic studies removed a number of ambiguities regarding the mechanism of the (i)ROPs of L ‐LA and TMC promoted by industrially relevant homoleptic or heteroleptic SnII species.  相似文献

NMR spectroscopy and DFT studies indicate that the Symyx/Dow Hf(IV)–pyridylamido catalytic system for olefin polymerization, [{N?,N,CNph?}HfMe][B(C6F5)4] ( 1 , Nph=naphthyl), interacts with ERn (E=Al or Zn, R=alkyl group) to afford unusual heterobimetallic adducts [{N?,N}HfMe(μ‐CNph)(μ‐R)ERn?1][B(C6F5)4] in which the cyclometalated Nph acts as a bridge between Hf and E. 1H VT (variable‐temperature) EXSY NMR spectroscopy provides direct evidence of reversible alkyl exchanges in heterobimetallic adducts, with ZnR2 showing a higher tendency to participate in this exchange than AlR3. 1‐Hexene/ERn competitive reactions with 1 at 240 K reveal that the formation of adducts is strongly favored over 1‐hexene polymerization. Nevertheless, a slight increase in the temperature (to >265 K) initiates 1‐hexene polymerization.  相似文献

A series of efficient catalysts, based on zinc alkoxides coordinated with NNO‐tridentate Schiff‐base ligands (L1H‐L6H), for ring opening polymerization of L ‐lactide have been prepared. The reactions of diethyl zinc (ZnEt2) with L1H‐L6H yielded [(μ‐L)ZnEt]2 ( 1a–6a ), respectively. Further reaction of compounds 1a–6a with benzyl alcohol (BnOH) produced the corresponding compounds of [LZn(μ‐OBn)]2 ( 1b–6b), respectively. X‐ray crystal structural studies reveal that all of these compounds 1a–6a are dimeric bridging through the phenolato oxygen atoms of the Schiff‐base ligand. However, the molecular structures of 1b–6b show a dimeric character bridging through the benzylalkoxy oxygen atoms. Ring‐opening polymerization of L ‐lactide, initiated by 1b–6b , proceeds rapidly with good molecular weight control and yields polymer with a very narrow molecular weight distribution. Experimental results show that the substituents on the imine carbon of the NNO‐ligand affect the reactivity of zinc complexes dramatically. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A careful interplay between the π electrophilicity of a cationic AuI center and the basicity of the corresponding counterion allowed for the chemo‐ and regioselective inter‐ as well as intramolecular de‐aromatization of 2,3‐disubstituted indoles with allenamides. The silver‐free bifunctional Lewis acid/Brønsted base complex [{2,4‐(tBu)2C6H3O}3PAuTFA] assisted the formation of a range of densely functionalized indolenines under mild conditions.  相似文献

Pincer‐type palladium complexes are among the most active Heck catalysts. Due to their exceptionally high thermal stability and the fact that they contain PdII centers, controversial PdII/PdIV cycles have been often proposed as potential catalytic mechanisms. However, pincer‐type PdIV intermediates have never been experimentally observed, and computational studies to support the proposed PdII/PdIV mechanisms with pincer‐type catalysts have never been carried out. In this computational study the feasibility of potential catalytic cycles involving PdIV intermediates was explored. Density functional calculations were performed on experimentally applied aminophosphine‐, phosphine‐, and phosphite‐based pincer‐type Heck catalysts with styrene and phenyl bromide as substrates and (E)‐stilbene as coupling product. The potential‐energy surfaces were calculated in dimethylformamide (DMF) as solvent and demonstrate that PdII/PdIV mechanisms are thermally accessible and thus a true alternative to formation of palladium nanoparticles. Initial reaction steps of the lowest energy path of the catalytic cycle of the Heck reaction include dissociation of the chloride ligands from the neutral pincer complexes [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(Cl)] [X=NH, R=piperidinyl ( 1 a ); X=O, R=piperidinyl ( 1 b ); X=O, R=iPr ( 1 c ); X=CH2, R=iPr ( 1 d )] to yield cationic, three‐coordinate, T‐shaped 14e? palladium intermediates of type [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd]+ ( 2 ). An alternative reaction path to generate complexes of type 2 (relevant for electron‐poor pincer complexes) includes initial coordination of styrene to 1 to yield styrene adducts [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(Cl)(CH2?CHPh)] ( 4 ) and consecutive dissociation of the chloride ligand to yield cationic square‐planar styrene complexes [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(CH2?CHPh)]+ ( 6 ) and styrene. Cationic styrene adducts of type 6 were additionally found to be the resting states of the catalytic reaction. However, oxidative addition of phenyl bromide to 2 result in pentacoordinate PdIV complexes of type [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(Br)(C6H5)]+ ( 11 ), which subsequently coordinate styrene (in trans position relative to the phenyl unit of the pincer cores) to yield hexacoordinate phenyl styrene complexes [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(Br)(C6H5)(CH2?CHPh)]+ ( 12 ). Migration of the phenyl ligand to the olefinic bond gives cationic, pentacoordinate phenylethenyl complexes [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(Br)(CHPhCH2Ph)]+ ( 13 ). Subsequent β‐hydride elimination induces direct HBr liberation to yield cationic, square‐planar (E)‐stilbene complexes with general formula [{2,6‐C6H3(XPR2)2}Pd(CHPh?CHPh)]+ ( 14 ). Subsequent liberation of (E)‐stilbene closes the catalytic cycle.  相似文献

Intramolecular H‐atom transfer in model peptide‐type radicals was investigated with high‐level quantum‐chemistry calculations. Examination of 1,2‐, 1,3‐, 1,5‐, and 1,6[C ? N]‐H shifts, 1,4‐ and 1,7[C ? C]‐H shifts, and 1,4[N ? N]‐H shifts (Scheme 1), was carried out with a number of theoretical methods. In the first place, the performance of UB3‐LYP (with the 6‐31G(d), 6‐31G(2df,p), and 6‐311+G(d,p) basis sets) and UMP2 (with the 6‐31G(d) basis set) was assessed for the determination of radical geometries. We found that there is only a small basis‐set dependence for the UB3‐LYP structures, and geometries optimized with UB3‐LYP/6‐31G(d) are generally sufficient for use in conjunction with high‐level composite methods in the determination of improved H‐transfer thermochemistry. Methods assessed in this regard include the high‐level composite methods, G3(MP2)‐RAD, CBS‐QB3, and G3//B3‐LYP, as well as the density‐functional methods B3‐LYP, MPWB1K, and BMK in association with the 6‐31+G(d,p) and 6‐311++G(3df,3pd) basis sets. The high‐level methods give results that are close to one another, while the recently developed functionals MPWB1K and BMK provide cost‐effective alternatives. For the systems considered, the transformation of an N‐centered radical to a C‐centered radical is always exothermic (by 25 kJ ? mol?1 or more), and this can lead to quite modest barrier heights of less than 60 kJ ? mol?1 (specifically for 1,5[C ? N]‐H and 1,6[C ? N]‐H shifts). H‐Migration barriers appear to decrease as the ring size in the transition structure (TS) increases, with a lowering of the barrier being found, for example when moving from a rearrangement proceeding via a four‐membered‐ring TS (e.g., the 1,3[C ? N]‐H shift, CH3? C(O)? NH..CH2? C(O)? NH2) to a rearrangement proceeding via a six‐membered‐ring TS (e.g., the 1,5[C ? N]‐H shift, .NH? CH2? C(O)? NH? CH3 → NH2? CH2? C(O)? NH? CH2.).  相似文献

Reaction of (TBBP)AlMe ? THF with [Cp*2Zr(Me)OH] gave [(TBBP)Al(THF)?O?Zr(Me)Cp*2] (TBBP=3,3’,5,5’‐tetra‐tBu‐2,2'‐biphenolato). Reaction of [DIPPnacnacAl(Me)?O?Zr(Me)Cp2] with [PhMe2NH]+[B(C6F5)4]? gave a cationic Al/Zr complex that could be structurally characterized as its THF adduct [(DIPPnacnac)Al(Me)?O?Zr(THF)Cp2]+[B(C6F5)4]? (DIPPnacnac=HC[(Me)C=N(2,6‐iPr2?C6H3)]2). The first complex polymerizes ethene in the presence of an alkylaluminum scavenger but in the absence of methylalumoxane (MAO). The adduct cation is inactive under these conditions. Theoretical calculations show very high energy barriers (ΔG=40–47 kcal mol?1) for ethene insertion with a bridged AlOZr catalyst. This is due to an unfavorable six‐membered‐ring transition state, in which the methyl group bridges the metal and ethene with an obtuse metal‐Me‐C angle that prevents synchronized bond‐breaking and making. A more‐likely pathway is dissociation of the Al‐O‐Zr complex into an aluminate and the active polymerization catalyst [Cp*2ZrMe]+.  相似文献

Abstract. The cyclopentadienyl‐substituted iron‐bismuth complexes [{Cp(CO)2Fe}BiCl2] ( 1 ), [{Cp(CO)2Fe}BiBr2] ( 2 ), [{Cp′′(CO)2Fe}BiBr2] ( 3 ) and [{Cp*(CO)2Fe}BiBr2] ( 4 ) were prepared with high yields starting from [Cpx(CO)2Fe]2 [Cpx = C5H5 (Cp), C5H3‐1, 3‐tBu2 (Cp′′), C5Me5 (Cp*)] and the corresponding bismuth halides. The single crystal X‐ray structure analyses of compounds 2 – 4 are reported. Comparison of their solubility demonstrates that the steric hindrance in this type of compounds is only slightly higher for compound 3 compared with compound 2 but significantly lower compared with the Cp* derivative 4 . Compounds 1 – 4 react with nucleophililic reagents such as KOtBu, NaOCH2CH2OCH3, and NaOSiMe3 as well as with water in the presence of an amine to give a mixture of [{Cpx(CO)2Fe}BiX] (X = Cl, Br) and [{Cpx(CO)2Fe}3Bi]. In case of a reaction with nBu4NCl and DMAP (dimethylaminopyridine) no such dismutation is observed. Instead the complexes [{Cp(CO)2Fe}BiBr2(DMAP)2] ( 5 ), [NnBu4]2[{{Cp(CO)2Fe}BiBr3}2] ( 6 ) and [NnBu4]2[{{Cp(CO)2Fe}BiCl3}2] ( 7 ) were isolated and characterized by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

The cationic gold phosphine complex [{PCy2(o‐biphenyl)}Au(NCMe)]+SbF6? (Cy=cyclohexyl) catalyzes the intermolecular, anti‐Markovnikov hydroamination reaction of monosubstituted and cis‐ and trans‐disubstituted alkylidenecyclopropanes (ACPs) with imidazolidin‐2‐ones and other nucleophiles. This reaction forms 1‐cyclopropyl alkylamine derivatives in high yield and with high regio‐ and diastereoselectivity. NMR spectroscopic analysis of gold π‐ACP complexes and control experiments point to the sp hybridization of the ACP internal alkene carbon atom as controlling the regiochemistry of the ACP hydroamination reaction.  相似文献

A series of 4‐X‐1‐methylpyridinium cationic nonlinear optical (NLO) chromophores (X=(E)‐CH?CHC6H5; (E)‐CH?CHC6H4‐4′‐C(CH3)3; (E)‐CH?CHC6H4‐4′‐N(CH3)2; (E)‐CH?CHC6H4‐4′‐N(C4H9)2; (E,E)‐(CH?CH)2C6H4‐4′‐N(CH3)2) with various organic (CF3SO3?, p‐CH3C6H4SO3?), inorganic (I?, ClO4?, SCN?, [Hg2I6]2?) and organometallic (cis‐[Ir(CO)2I2]?) counter anions are studied with the aim of investigating the role of ion pairing and of ionic dissociation or aggregation of ion pairs in controlling their second‐order NLO response in anhydrous chloroform solution. The combined use of electronic absorption spectra, conductimetric measurements and pulsed field gradient spin echo (PGSE) NMR experiments show that the second‐order NLO response, investigated by the electric‐field‐induced second harmonic generation (EFISH) technique, of the salts of the cationic NLO chromophores strongly depends upon the nature of the counter anion and concentration. The ion pairs are the major species at concentration around 10?3 M , and their dipole moments were determined. Generally, below 5×10?4 M , ion pairs start to dissociate into ions with parallel increase of the second‐order NLO response, due to the increased concentration of purely cationic NLO chromophores with improved NLO response. At concentration higher than 10?3 M , some multipolar aggregates, probably of H type, are formed, with parallel slight decrease of the second‐order NLO response. Ion pairing is dependent upon the nature of the counter anion and on the electronic structure of the cationic NLO chromophore. It is very strong for the thiocyanate anion in particular and, albeit to a lesser extent, for the sulfonated anions. The latter show increased tendency to self‐aggregate.  相似文献

An unprecedented cationic supramolecule [(Cp′′Fe(η5‐P5))12{CuNCMe}8]8+ 2.66 nm in diameter was selectively isolated as a salt of the weakly coordinating anion [Al{OC(CF3)3}4]? for the first time and characterized by X‐ray structure analysis, PXRD, NMR spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. Its metal‐deficient core contains the lowest possible number of Cu atoms to connect 12 pentaphosphaferrocene units, providing a supramolecule with fullerene topology which, topologically, also represents the simplest homologue in the family of metal‐deficient pentaphosphaferrocene‐based supramolecules [{CpRFe(η5‐P5)}12(CuX)20?n]. The 12 vacant metal sites between the cyclo‐P5 rings, the largest number attained to date, make this compound a facile precursor for potential inner and outer modifications of the core as well as for functionalization via the substitution of labile acetonitrile ligands.  相似文献

A series of new Ni(II) complexes of general formula Ni{ZNO} Br ( 2a‐i ) (ZNO = phenoxy/naphthoxy‐imine with pendant N‐ and O‐donor groups) were prepared and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, ESI‐HRMS, and by X‐ray crystallography for 2e . In the solid state, 2e features a monomeric structure with κ3 coordination of the monoanionic naphthoxy‐imine‐quinoline ligand onto the nickel center. Upon activation with MAO, both classes of nickel catalysts were able to produce selectively 1‐butene (81.5–92.1 wt%) with turnover frequencies (TOFs) varying from 3,100 to 24,300 mol(C2H4) mol (Ni)?1 h?1. Nickel precatalysts bearing phenoxy‐imine ligands were much more active than its naphthoxy analogous under the same conditions. The use of a mixture of cocatalysts (MAO/TMA or MAO/TiBA) resulted in poor activities; however the presence of TiBA in the milieu led to a significant improvement on selectivity for 1‐hexene (25.5 wt%). Assuming various ionic states in ionic liquids (ILs) are in equilibrium with exchange rates too high to be distinguished by NMR experiments and the overall response of measured diffusivity is viewed as the sum of weighted responses of diffusivity of all possible components, the ratio of cation diffusivity to anion diffusivity, D+/D?, in a specified IL affords the physical meaning: relative association degrees observed by anion‐containing components to cation‐containing components. These values decrease with increasing temperature showing the equilibrium between ionic states shifting to smaller components. In the neat 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BMI‐PF6), (BMI‐PF6)nPF6? anions are found preferred to (BMI‐PF6)nBMI+ cations and this phenomenon is termed as hyper anion preference (HAP). The counterpart statement, “isolated BMI+Cations Are More than Isolated PF6? Anions in the Room Temperature in the BMI‐PF6 Ionic Liquid” is employed as the research title. The HAP approach can be employed to explain the temperature‐dependent values of D+/D? obtained for BMI‐PF6/2,2,2‐trifluoroethane (TFE) mixtures at two different compositions (χTFE = 0.65 and 0.80). More significantly, this argument can rationalize numerous physical properties published for this IL: (1) higher sensitive of anionic diffusivity towards temperatures than cationic diffusivity, (2) temperature‐dependent cationic transference number, (3) low anionic donicity and high ionicity and (4) high viscosity.  相似文献

Strategies for the synthesis of highly electrophilic AuI complexes from either hydride‐ or chloride‐containing precursors have been investigated by employing sterically encumbered Dipp‐substituted expanded‐ring NHCs (Dipp=2,6‐iPr2C6H3). Thus, complexes of the type (NHC)AuH have been synthesised (for NHC=6‐Dipp or 7‐Dipp) and shown to feature significantly more electron‐rich hydrides than those based on ancillary imidazolylidene donors. This finding is consistent with the stronger σ‐donor character of these NHCs, and allows for protonation of the hydride ligand. Such chemistry leads to the loss of dihydrogen and to the trapping of the [(NHC)Au]+ fragment within a dinuclear gold cation containing a bridging hydride. Activation of the hydride ligand in (NHC)AuH by B(C6F5)3, by contrast, generates a species (at low temperatures) featuring a [HB(C6F5)3]? fragment with spectroscopic signatures similar to the “free” borate anion. Subsequent rearrangement involves B?C bond cleavage and aryl transfer to the carbophilic metal centre. Under halide abstraction conditions utilizing Na[BArf4] (Arf=C6H3(CF3)2‐3,5), systems of the type [(NHC)AuCl] (NHC=6‐Dipp or 7‐Dipp) generate dinuclear complexes [{(NHC)Au}2(μ‐Cl)]+ that are still electrophilic enough at gold to induce aryl abstraction from the [BArf4]? counterion.  相似文献
