We consider two interacting particles evolving in a one-dimensional periodic structure embedded in a magnetic field. We show that the strong localization induced by the magnetic field for particular values of the flux per unit cell is destroyed as soon as the particles interact. A hexagonal ordered structure of magnetic columns, which results from an agglomeration of magnetic particles, is obtained in a magnetic fluid film when a magnetic field is applied perpendicularly to the film surface. The evolution of the initially ordered structure in the magnetic fluid film during the heating and cooling process is investigated under a given magnetic field. For the heating process, the columns remain unchanged until the temperature exceeds a critical temperature. As the temperature is further increased, column particles start to disperse into the liquid carrier. As a result, portions of columns disappear. As the temperature continue to rise, the ordered structure changes to a disordered column state, or even a monodispersed state. On the other hand, when the temperature is lowered, the magnetic particles in the carrier condense out of solution and finally an ordered structure of columns is achieved. We have investigated the magnetic spin structure of a soft-magnetic film that is exchange-coupled to a hard-magnetic layer to form an exchange-spring layer system. The depth dependence of the magnetization direction was determined by nuclear resonant scattering of synchrotron radiation from ultrathin 57Fe probe layers. In an external field a magnetic spiral structure forms that can be described within a one-dimensional micromagnetical model. The experimental method allows one to image vertical spin structures in stratified media with unprecedented accuracy.  相似文献

A compact and accurate solution of the specified problem is obtained in the model of an infinitely deep potential well. The solution is expressed in terms of the one-dimensional Green's function for an electron in an arbitrary field in the absence of film boundaries. The one-dimensional problem may be generalized to the three-dimensional case when the three-dimensional field allows separation of variables along and perpendicular to the plane of the film. The case of a periodic field is examined in more detail. Mesoscopic conductance fluctuations of a two-dimensional electron gas in a one-dimensional periodic array of antidots have been studied experimentally, for the first time. The fluctuations show a quasiperiodic behaviour on magnetic field, with period corresponding to the quantization of magnetic flux through the area of a unit cell of the one-dimensional array. The existence of the quasiperiodic component is explained by an anomalous area distribution of interfering trajectories.  相似文献

We in this paper study periodic instantons and domain structures in a theoretical film consisting of biaxial-anisotropic ferromagnets. In a proper approximation the equation of motion of the magnetization vector as a space-time function in the film is reduced to the 1 + 2-dimensional sine-Gordon field equation in strong anisotropy limit. Static periodic instantons, which are solutions of Euclidean field equantion, and various new domain structures are obtained analytically. 提出了一种磁流变液构成的类梯度结构,并通过理论建模、数值计算和实验研究了该结构的振动传递特性.磁流变液在磁场作用下具有液固转换的特殊理化性质,而液固转换过程就是磁流变液的振动传递阻抗变化过程.因此,基于磁流变液的这一特性,通过控制磁场,构建了类梯度结构.基于弹性波传递的一维波动方程,建立了垂直入射的弹性波在类梯度结构中传递的波动方程.然后,使用连续介质的离散化方法和传递矩阵法进行求解,得到振级落差的表达式,对其进行数值计算,分析类梯度结构的振级落差随弹性波频率和磁场强度的变化趋势.最后,对类梯度结构的振动传递特性进行了实验研究,分析了磁场强度对类梯度结构振动传递特性的影响.研究结果表明,与均匀场作用的磁流变液相比,类梯度结构对弹性波的衰减效果更好,且该结构具备良好的可调控特性.  相似文献

The Mössbauer spectra of a permalloy film placed in an rf magnetic field are measured. The film is so thin that transverse magnetostriction oscillations are not excited in it. This permits the observation of satellites that are due solely to periodic variations of the magnetic field at the nucleus. The data are in good agreement with calculations performed in the model of step-wise field reversals. On application of an additional static magnetic field the splitting of the satellites is observed, as predicted by the model of asymmetric step-wise field reversals.  相似文献

We analyze and classify equilibrium solutions of the one-dimensional thin film equation with no-flux boundary conditions and in the presence of a spatially dependent external forcing. We prove theorems that shed light on the nature of these equilibrium solutions, guarantee their validity, and describe how they depend on the properties of the external forcing. We then apply these results to the reverse draining of a one-dimensional magnetic soap film subject to an external non-uniform magnetic field. Numerical simulations illustrate the convergence of the solutions towards equilibrium configurations. We then present bifurcation diagrams for steady state solutions. We find that multiple stable equilibrium solutions exist for fixed parameters, and uncover a rich bifurcation structure to these solutions, demonstrating the complexity hidden in a relatively simple looking evolution equation. Finally, we provide a simulation describing how numerical solutions traverse the bifurcation diagram, as the amplitude of the forcing is slowly increased and then decreased.  相似文献

A novel magnetic field fiber sensor based on magnetic fluid is proposed. The sensor is configured as a Sagnac interferometer structure with a magnetic fluid film and a section of polarization maintaining fiber inserted into the fiber loop to produce a sinusoidal interference spectrum for measurement. The output interference spectrum is shifted as the change of the applied magnetic field strength with a sensitivity of 16.7 pm/Oe and a resolution of 0.60 Oe. The output optical power is varied with the change of the applied magnetic field strength with a sensitivity of 0.3998 dB/Oe.  相似文献

In this review, we will report a series of investigations on the homemade homogeneous magnetic fluids. The most spectacular property discussed in our research is the ordered structure of the magnetic columns formed in the magnetic fluid thin film under the influence of the external magnetic field, either perpendicular or parallel to the film surface. It is worth noting that the ordered structure can be manipulated by changing the control parameters. This reveals the variability of the ordered structure. With the ordered structures, some significant magneto-optical characteristics such as magnetochromatics, birefringence, and field-dependent transmittance are generated. These optical properties form the groundwork for further development of related optical devices by using the homogeneous magnetic fluid films.  相似文献

The plane-wave method is used to determine the spin-wave spectra in nanoscale one-dimensional magnonic crystals formed by a periodic lattice of ferromagnetic stripes. The dynamic demagnetizing field in a new formulation is used in these calculations. The calculated spectra of spin waves are compared with experimental data taken from literature and a good agreement is obtained. The dependence of the spin-wave spectra on magnetic material parameters consisting of magnetic stripes is systematically studied. We proved that the experimentally found magnonic band structure with two magnonic gaps is of magnetostatic nature.  相似文献

利用前向箭并四波混频光路,在偶氮苯聚合物薄膜表面制作出六角对称的晶体微结构,观察到多个相位共轭波,当三束入射光都处在p偏振态时,在样品表面可得到一维光栅,当三束入射光中有一束在p偏振态,另两束在s偏振态时,在样品表面上得到的是六角对称微结构,这一结果表明,光场强度周期性变化及光场偏振态对晶格微结构的形成非常重要。  相似文献

While a suitable magnetic field is applied to a ferrofluids film, magnetic nanoparticles in the film would form chain-like structure. Because of the action of magnetic convergent force (MCF) and magnetic divergent force (MDF), the chains will move coordinately towards to the axis of the field, then do apart from the center. From geometric shadowing effect, variation in the intensity of light transmitted through ferrofluids film is in relation to the coordinate motion of the chains. And a radiate synchromotion of the chain groups is constructed equivalently for describing the relation between transmitted light's intensity varying and chains moving. From the motion equation of one chain group, the relation is illustrated qualitatively by computer simulation. The experimental results show that the field-induced variation of light transmitted through ferrofluids film is a nonlinear relaxation process with intrinsic noise, and are in agreement with the behavior simulated by using the model of coordinated chains motion (MCCM).  相似文献

A one-dimensional fluid model of the microwave electron cyclotron resonance (ECR) discharge, which includes the inhomogeneity effects of the external magnetic field, is developed. We use fluid equations which are obtained from the one-dimensional Bolzmann equation expressed in terms of magnetic moment and parallel velocity. We model the plasma and sheath separately, and appropriate plasma-sheath boundary conditions are utilized. Microwave is represented by an energy flow, and treated by a ray tracing technique. For the argon discharge, we obtain various quantities such as the axial profiles of plasma density, electron temperature, electrostatic potential, fluid velocity, and microwave power deposition. The results of simulation compare well with the experimental observation of the mirror field effects on the plasma parameters  相似文献

FeCo/NiO half-shell arrays were fabricated based on the periodic monolayer polystyrene spheres. The two-dimensional magnetic periodic arrays form well-defined photonic crystals with pronounced stop bands. Quite interestingly, it is found that the stop bands can be tuned by an external magnetic field. The underlying mechanism is attributed to the controllable dielectric constant of the magnetic FeCo film under an applied magnetic field. The results shown here may open up an avenue for magnetically tunable photonic crystal stop bands, which may be useful for the creation of new magneto-optical devices.  相似文献

We study conformal field theories describing two massless one-dimensional fields interacting at a single spatial point. The interactions we include are periodic functions of the bosonized fields separately plus a “magnetic” interaction that mixes the two fields. Such models arise in open-string theory and dissipative quantum mechanics and perhaps in edge state tunneling in the fractional quantized Hall effect. The partition function for such theories is a Coulomb gas with interchange phases arising from the magnetic field. These “fractional statistics” have a profound effect on the phase structure of the Coulomb gas. In this paper we present new exact and approximate results for this type of generalized Coulomb gas.  相似文献

Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor chip is proposed for magnetic field monitoring in the infrared wavelength region. The structure is based on silicon substrate and gold as SPR-active metal used with an appropriate magnetic fluid film. The angular interrogation method has been used to study the sensor’s performance in terms of large shift and small width of the SPR curve for a wide range of magnetic field between 30 and 220 Oe. The effect of field incidence angle is also studied on the proposed sensor’s performance, and it is observed that the field should be incident as parallel to the magnetic fluid surface as possible. Any possibility of oxidation problem to the proposed SPR sensor is addressed by using a stable buffer layer. All the performance parameters were found to be significantly large for the above field incidence condition. The proposed sensor is able to achieve a resolution of the order as high as 0.18 Oe for magnetic field detection.  相似文献

We study regular and chaotic motion of the charge carriers in a two-dimensional electron gas subject to a spatially periodic magnetic field and to an AC electric field. We show how the interplay between the time-periodic electric and the spatially-periodic magnetic field leads to dynamical chaos and to fast stochastic diffusion of the electrons. The cases of a one-dimensional magnetic modulation with AC pumping and of a pure two-dimensional magnetic modulation are compared. We find the direct effect of anomalous diffusion and Lévy flights on the conductivity of a sample.  相似文献
