利用带离化子程序的一维粒子模拟程序,对光脉冲与离化波前的相互作用进行了模拟研究,讨论了在原子多度电离的情况下光脉冲与离化波前的相互作用关系.研究表明,由于原子各级离化势的不连续性使得离化波前在空间上出现平台区;离化过程导致激光频率发生蓝移,这个蓝移又对脉冲形状产生调制,使脉冲前沿呈阶跃型增长;阶跃型的光脉冲包络使离化波前的平台区变短,直至整个离化波前分为几个不同梯度的区域.还讨论了不同元素和不同密度的气体中产生的离化波前的特点.同时分析了光脉冲频率随传播距离的关系,指出由于光脉冲宽度的增加,将导致出射的光 关键词: 激光等离子体 光电离 离化波前 激光频率上转换  相似文献

共振增强多光子电离光谱技术已成为研究原子、分子高激发态能级结构的重要方法。运用光和物质相互作用的速率方程理论,推导出四能级物质系统1+2+1双共振增强多光子电离概率的解析表达式,以此为基础,理论模拟了电离概率随激发光强、激光脉冲宽度和碰撞弛豫速率的变化,发现在1+2+1多光子电离机制中,电离概率随光强的增加而增大,继而出现单步、双步激发饱和的现象,直至饱和值1;继续增大光强,电离概率将围绕饱和值1窄幅振荡,振荡幅度随光强增加而增大。随激光脉冲宽度的增大,电离概率从零开始逐渐增大直至饱和值1。而随碰撞弛豫速率的增大电离概率以线性规律减小。  相似文献

The ionization time in sequential double ionization with an elliptically polarized laser pulse has been examined theo- retically using a semiclassical method. The significant discrepancy between the ionization time for parallel and anti-parallel electron emission is predicted numerically for the first time. A model describing the ionization of atoms and ions in a cluster under irradiation by a short laser pulse has been constructed. It is shown that the electron-impact ionization weakly affects the final charge composition, and the main mechanism of ion formation in the cluster is the over-barrier ionization by an electric field. The electric field acting on atoms and ions is the result of combined action of the external laser field and the intrinsic electric field of the cluster. The key parameters of the cluster beam and the laser pulse, which determine the properties of the charge composition of the cluster plasma, have been established.  相似文献

采用三维粒子动力学模拟方法研究了甲烷团簇在超短强激光脉冲激励下的爆炸动力学行为,重点讨论了几种典型的内电离机理对团簇爆炸过程中离子的价态和动能的影响.研究表明,在激光脉冲强度比较小的情况下,团簇中的原子主要是在光场作用下通过隧道电离的方式发生电离.当激光场进一步增强时,势垒压低电离是电离的主要方式.在相同的较高激光强度下,团簇更容易通过势垒压低电离达到高的电离价态.团簇发生电离后,其内部库仑电场的点火电离效应和内部滞留自由电子的碰撞电离效应也将增强团簇的再次电离过程. 关键词: 超短强激光脉冲 甲烷团簇 内电离  相似文献

The interaction of an intense laser field with a beam of atomic ions has been investigated experimentally for the first time. The ionization dynamics of Ar+ ions and Ar neutrals in a 60 fs, 790 nm laser pulse have been compared and contrasted at intensities up to 10(16) W cm-2. Our results show that nonsequential ionization from an Ar+ target is strongly suppressed compared with that from the corresponding neutral target. We have also observed for the first time the strong field ionization of high lying target metastable levels in the Ar+ beam.  相似文献

In the tight focusing mode of the femtosecond radiation of a Cr:forsterite laser system in the transparent-dielectric bulk, the nonmonotonic behavior of absorption has been revealed as the laser pulse energy increases. A computer simulation of the heating of nonequilibrium electrons by an intense high-frequency electromagnetic field leading to the bulk damage of solid transparent dielectrics under single irradiation has been carried out. The dependences of the avalanche ionization rate on threshold field strength have been derived. Using the Fokker-Planck equation with a flux-doubling boundary condition is shown to lead to noticeable errors even at a ratio of the photon energy to the band gap ∼0.1. The series of dependences of the critical fields on pulse duration have been constructed for various initial lattice temperatures and laser wavelengths, which allow the electron avalanche to be identified as a limiting breakdown mechanism. The ratio of the energy stored in the electron subsystem to the excess (with respect to the equilibrium state) energy of the phonon subsystem by the end of laser pulse action has been calculated both with and without allowance for phonon heating. The influence of phonon heating on the impact avalanche ionization rate is analyzed.  相似文献

Self-compression of femtosecond pulses in noble gases with an input power close to the self-focusing threshold has been investigated experimentally and theoretically. It is demonstrated that either multiphoton ionization (MPI) or space-time focusing and self-steepening effects can induce pulse shortening, but they predominate at different beam intensities during the propagation. The latter effects play a key role in the final pulse self-compression. By choosing an appropriate focusing parameter, action distance of the space-time focusing and self-steepening effects can be lengthened, which can promote a shock pulse structure with a duration as short as two optical cycles. It is also found that, for our calculation cases in which an input pulse power is close to the self-focusing threshold, either group velocity dispersion (GVD) or multiphoton absorption (MPA) has a negligible influence on pulse characteristics in the propagation process.  相似文献

The photoelectron spectra of C60 ionized using a 790 nm laser with pulse durations varying from 25 fs to 5 ps have been determined. For 25 fs pulses, in the absence of fragmentation, the ionization mechanism is direct multiphoton ionization with clear observation of above threshold ionization. As the pulse duration is increased, this becomes dominated by a statistical ionization due to equilibration among the electronic degrees of freedom. For pulse durations on the order of a ps coupling to the vibrational degrees of freedom occurs and the well-known phenomenon of delayed (&mgr;s) ionization is observed.  相似文献

The generation of pulses in the mid-infrared range during the ionization of a gas by an intense two-color femtosecond field containing quasimonochromatic components with the frequency ratio close to 2 has been studied. The generation occurs at the detuning frequency equal to the difference between the higher frequency and the doubled lower frequency. It has been shown that the efficiency of the generation is determined both by the magnitude of the detuning frequency and by its sign and is higher at negative detunings. The duration of the generated pulse is determined by the ionization duration, which is much smaller than the duration of the ionizing field, which ensures obtaining few-cycle and subcycle pulses in the mid-infrared range.  相似文献

A one-dimensional model of a helium atom in an intense field of a femtosecond electromagnetic pulse has been constructed using the Hartree technique. “Exact” calculations have been compared to the approximations of “frozen” and “passive” electrons. A nonmonotonic dependence of the single-electron ionization probability on the radiation intensity has been detected. Minima in the ionization probability are due to multiphoton resonances between different atomic states due to the dynamic Stark effect. Multiphoton ionization, first observed by N.B. Delone in 1965, has been a subject of intense studies ever since. In this paper we consider multiphoton ionization of molecules in the limit of subopticalcycle pulse duration. Moreover, we study the regime where the molecules are first prepared in a coherent vibrational superposition state, and then are subjected to sub-cycle laser pulses synchronized with respect to the phase of the coherent molecular motion. The present approach is based on the Keldysh formalism, which assumes that the final free electron’s state is much more sensitive to the pulse than the bound initial wavefunction [1]. We find that the ionization rate depends not only on the sub-cycle shape of the laser pulses, but also on the time delay between the arrival of pulses and molecular motion.  相似文献

Electron impact ionization induced in n-type InAs by single-cycle pulses of picosecond and subpicosecond duration has been investigated by Monte Carlo method. It is established that the rate of generation of electron–hole pairs decreases with the decrease of the pulse duration. The impact ionization threshold field is found to depend linearly on frequency for the fields oscillating at frequencies much higher than reciprocal momentum relaxation time. Good agreement between calculations and available experimental data has been obtained.  相似文献

Multiphoton ionization processes in aligned I2 molecules are actively controlled by the homemade pulse shaping system, with which a time-dependent polarization pulse can be generated and controlled. We find a correlation between a femtosecond time-dependent polarization pulse and the production efficiency of evenly or oddly charged molecular ions. We achieve much better controllability of the correlation with a time-dependent polarization pulse than with a pulse having a fixed ellipticity. The results suggest the existence of an unknown tunnel ionization mechanism which is characteristic of a time-dependent polarization pulse. Our experiments point to new directions in optimal control studies with molecular systems, as discussed in the text.  相似文献
