 用张量光学方法定义了三维不可分离变量的椭圆平顶高斯光束(EFGB),导出了这种光束经过非轴对称光学系统的传输公式及相应的张量ABCD定律, 并对EFGB经过自由空间的传输作了数值计算。结果表明, EFGB的传输特性依赖于阶次, 而且耦合EFGB的光强分布在传输过程中会发生旋转。  相似文献

The propagation of elliptical Gaussian beam passing through paraxial optical systems with aperture is investigated analytically by using tensor method. The approximate formula for propagation of elliptical Gaussian beam through hard apertured optical systems is derived based on the fact that the circ function can be expanded into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions. The derived formula provides a convenient tool for treating the propagation and transformation of elliptical Gaussian beam through apertured optical systems. As an application example, the propagation properties of elliptical Gaussian beam through apertured fractional Fourier systems are discussed.  相似文献

A new kind of laser beam, named a decentered controllable elliptical dark-hollow beam (DCEDHB), is defined by a tensor method. The propagation formula for a DCEDHB through an axially nonsymmetrical optical system is derived by vector integration. The derived propagation formula could be reduced to the formula for a controllable elliptical dark-hollow beam (CEDHB) and a controllable dark-hollow beam (CDHB) under certain conditions. As an application example of the derived formula, the propagation characteristics of a DCEDHB in free space are calculated and discussed. As another example we study the propagation properties of coherent and incoherent beam combinations with radial array for DCEDHB.  相似文献

Based on the generalized diffraction integral formula for treating the propagation of a laser beam through a misaligned paraxial ABCD optical system in the cylindrical coordinate system, analytical formula for a circular flattened Gaussian beam propagating through such optical system is derived. Furthermore, an approximate analytical formula is derived for a circular flattened Gaussian beam propagating through an apertured misaligned ABCD optical system by expanding the hard aperture function as a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions. 为分析平顶高斯光束通过光学系统传输时圆孔光阑失调和光学元件失调对平顶高斯光束传输特性的影响,利用失调圆孔光阑的近似展开式和适用于失调光学系统的广义衍射公式,得出了平顶高斯光束经含失调圆孔光阑的失调光学系统传输的近似解析式,给出了输出光束场分布与光束参量、光阑孔径尺寸、光阑和光学元件失调量等的定量关系.针对特定光学系统定量分析了各失调量对输出光束场分布的影响,结果表明各元件失调都对输出光束强度分布产生较大影响.但在各失调量较小的情况下,透镜失调对输出光束传输特性的影响比光阑失调对输出光束传输特性的影响更明显.  相似文献

 通过加入高斯项的空间相干度,引入部分相干双曲余弦-高斯(ChG)光束,推导出部分相干ChG光束通过近轴ABCD光学系统传输的解析表达式,并用以研究其传输特性和空间整形。结果表明,部分相干ChG光束的光强分布不能保持传输不变性,其光强分布不仅与传输距离和离心参数有关,而且还与空间相干参数有关。在传输距离固定时,适当改变部分相干ChG 光束的离心参数和空间相干参数,可实现光束的空间整形。光束质量因子随空间相干性的增大和离心参数的减小而减小。高斯-谢尔模型光束和完全相干ChG光束可作为部分相干ChG光束的特例处理。  相似文献

By expanding the hard-aperture function into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions, the recurrence propagation formula of a flattened Gaussian beam through multi-apertured optical ABCD systems is derived, and the propagation of a Gaussian beam is regarded as a special case in our theoretical model. The extension to the three-dimensional case is described. Numerical examples of the beam propagation through a multiple aperture-lens system and an aperture-spatial filter are given and compared with those by the straightforward numerical integration of the Collins formula. It is shown that our analytical results give a good trade-off between the computational time and accuracy, and provide a useful tool for simulating the beam propagation through complicated optical systems including multiple apertures and spatial filters. Finally, a comparison with the previous work is made and the main results obtained in this paper are summarized.  相似文献

By expanding the hard aperture function into a finite sum of complex Gaussian functions, some approximate analytical formulae for the cross-spectral density of a partially coherent flattened Gaussian beam (FGB) propagating through apertured aligned and misaligned ABCD optical systems are derived based on the generalized Collins formula. The results obtained by using the approximate analytical formula are in good agreement with those obtained by using the numerical integral calculation. As a numerical example, the focusing properties (including average irradiance distribution and focal shift) of a partially coherent FGB focused by an apertured thin lens are studied, and it is found that the focusing properties of a partially coherent FGB are closely related to its initial coherence and the aperture width. Our results provide an effective and fast way for studying the paraxial propagation of a partially coherent FGB through apertured ABCD optical systems.  相似文献

The propagation of an elliptical Gaussian beam (EGB) through an astigmatic ABCD optical system in a turbulent atmosphere is investigated. An analytical formula for the average intensity of an EGB and a generalized tensor ABCD law for the generalized complex curvature tensor are derived. As an application example, we derived an analytical formula for the average intensity of an elliptical flat-topped beam propagating through an astigmatic ABCD optical system in a turbulent atmosphere. As a numerical example, the focusing properties of an EGB focused by a thin lens in a turbulent atmosphere are studied. It is found that the focused beam at the focal plane becomes a circular Gaussian beam when the atmospheric turbulence is strong enough, and the beam width of the circular Gaussian beam is determined by atmospheric turbulence strength, focal length of the thin lens, and wavelength of the initial beam but is independent of the initial beam widths (i.e., initial intensity distribution).  相似文献

An alternative theoretical model called circular partially coherent flattened Gaussian beam (FGB) is developed to describe a circular partially coherent beam with a flat-topped spatial profile. Explicit expression for the propagation factor of a circular partially coherent FGB is derived. We drive the analytical formulae for the cross-spectral density and mean-squared beam width of a circular partially coherent FGB propagating through a paraxial ABCD optical system based on the generalized Collins formula. The intensity, spreading and directionality properties of a circular partially coherent FGB propagating in free space are studied as numerical examples. The propagation properties of a circular partially coherent FGB agree well with those of a partially coherent flat-topped beam reported in the literature. Thus, our model provides an alternative but reliable model for describing a circular partially coherent beam with flat-topped profile.  相似文献

The propagation properties of flattened Gaussian beam with a misaligned circular aperture in turbulent atmosphere have been studied by using the extended Huygens-Fresnel formula. From the study and numerical calculation, the effects of aperture parameters on the propagation properties of flattened Gaussian beams in turbulent atmosphere have been illuminated. The results show that angle misalignments and lateral displacements of aperture create unsymmetrical average intensity distribution at any cross section. The intensity distributions are much more sensitive to the lateral displacement than to the angle misalignments. And the propagation properties of different flattened Gaussian beams in turbulent atmosphere are also compared.  相似文献

The generalized diffraction integralis used to derive a generalized formula for high-order Bessel–Gaussian beams (HBGBs) through a misaligned first-order ABCD optical system. It is found that, when a HBGB propagates through a misaligned optical system, the beam shape of the output beam is unchanged. However, the center of the output beam is deviated from the optical axis, forming a decentered HBGB. The position of the output beam may be controlled by adjusting the misaligned parameters. Based on the derived formula, the diffraction patterns of HBGBs propagating through a simple misaligned lens system have been calculated numerically. These results may be useful in the application of laser beams for trapping and manipulating a wide variety of particles.  相似文献

We define six parameters, the roughness parameter, the local gradient parameter, the directionless gradient parameter, the integral gradient parameter, the directionless integral gradient parameter and the absolute gradient parameter for characterising the uniformity of a laser beam in its transversal section. For shape-invariant beams the roughness parameter is propagation invariant. The absolute gradient parameter is propagation invariant for symmetric shape invariant beams. As an example, five of the defined parameters are calculated for a dummy irradiance. The values of the roughness parameter and the absolute parameter are calculated and tabulated for symmetric Hermite–Gaussian, Laguerre–Gaussian, spherical Gaussian, flattened Gaussian (at the waist plane) and super Gaussian beams (at the waist plane).
