Three supported Au catalysts have been prepared by the deposition‐precipitation method by using the active carbon (AC), SiO2‐AC, and SiO2‐AC‐hollowed. The 3 supports were characterized by Brunauer‐Emmett‐Teller and scanning electron microscopy. Meanwhile, the supported Au nanoparticles were also characterized in detail by X‐ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, H2‐TRP, and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and their catalytic activity and stability in CO oxidation was evaluated. The results demonstrated that Au supported on SiO2‐AC‐hollowed exhibited much higher catalytic activity with acceptable stability for 72 hours than the other 2. We attributed to finer supported Au nanoparticles with abundant low‐coordinated Au atoms on the surfaces of hollowed supports with large special surface area and abundant pore structure. In summary, we successfully found an efficient and cheap method to prepare catalysts with high catalytic activity and acceptable stability by modifying the inactive supports.  相似文献

The immobilization of sulfonic acid on the surface of Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) as a novel acid nanocatalyst has been successfully reported. The morphological features, thermal stability, magnetic properties, and other physicochemical properties of the prepared superparamagnetic core–shell (Fe3O4@PFBA–Metformin@SO3H) were thoroughly characterized using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDS), field‐emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), thermogravimetric analysis–differential thermal analysis (TGA‐DTA), atomic force microscopy (AFM), dynamic light scattering (DLS), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) techniques. It was applied as an efficient and reusable catalyst for the synthesis of 2‐(piperazin‐1‐yl) quinoxaline and benzimidazole derivatives via a one‐pot multiple‐component cascade reaction under green conditions. The results displayed the excellent catalytic activity of Fe3O4@PFBA–metformin@SO3H as an organic–inorganic hybrid nanocatalyst in condensation and multicomponent Mannich‐type reactions. The easy separation, simple workup, excellent stability, and reusability of the nanocatalyst and quantitative yields of products and short reaction time are some outstanding advantages of this protocol.  相似文献

Organic–inorganic hybrid nanocomposites composed of conductive polypyrrole (PPy) and surface modified silica (SiO2) were successfully prepared through an in situ chemical oxidative polymerization in supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2). SiO2 nanoparticles were surface modified using 3‐methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MPTMS) in order to disperse well in the medium. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that the SiO2 nanoparticles were encapsulated into the polymer. UV‐visible spectra of the diluted colloidal dispersions of PPy/SiO2 hybrid nanocomposites were similar to those of PPy system. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR) suggested the strong interaction between PPy and SiO2. Surface characterizations of nanocomposites were described by X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The nanocomposites synthesized in scCO2 have been shown to possess higher electrical conductivity and thermal stability. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A high‐efficiency nanoelectrocatalyst based on high‐density Au/Pt hybrid nanoparticles supported on a silica nanosphere (Au‐Pt/SiO2) has been prepared by a facile wet chemical method. Scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy are employed to characterize the obtained Au‐Pt/SiO2. It was found that each hybrid nanosphere is composed of high‐density small Au/Pt hybrid nanoparticles with rough surfaces. These small Au/Pt hybrid nanoparticles interconnect and form a porous nanostructure, which provides highly accessible activity sites, as required for high electrocatalytic activity. We suggest that the particular morphology of the Au‐Pt/SiO2 may be the reason for the high catalytic activity. Thus, this hybrid nanomaterial may find a potential application in fuel cells.  相似文献

A protocol is introduced for the preparation of a new cage‐like Pd–Schiff base organometallic complex supported on Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4@Schiff‐base‐Pd). The structure of the nanomagnetic catalyst was comprehensively characterized using Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR) spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction (XRD), energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller measurements, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy, X‐ray mapping, thermogravimetric analysis, vibrating sample magnetometry and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy. In the second stage, the catalytic activity of this catalyst was studied in the Suzuki and Heck cross‐coupling reactions in water as a green solvent. In this sense, simple preparation of the catalyst from commercially available materials, high catalytic activity, simple operation, short reaction times, high yields and use of green solvent are some advantages of this protocol. Finally, the nanocatalyst was easily recovered, using an external magnet, and reused several times without significant loss of its catalytic efficiency. In addition, the stability of the catalyst after recycling was confirmed using SEM, XRD and FT‐IR techniques.  相似文献

An efficient heterogeneous Pd catalytic system has been developed, based on immobilization of Pd nanoparticles (PNPs) on a silica‐bonded propylamine–cyanuric–cysteine (SiO2pA–Cyan–Cys) substrate. The synthesized catalyst was characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, FT‐IR, N2 adsorption analysis (BET), TGA and inductively coupled plasma/atomic emission spectroscopy, and catalytic activity of this catalyst was investigated in the Suzuki and Sonogashira cross‐coupling reactions. The catalysts showed excellent performance in these two reactions, including various aryl halide derivatives (except aryl chloride derivatives) with phenylboronic acid and phenylacetylene under green conditions. Moreover, the catalyst was recycled for several runs without any significant loss of catalytic activity. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In present work, silica pillared montmorillonite material (C‐SiO2‐OMT) was prepared via the sol–gel method, and the influence of the powder on thermal stability and flammability performance of polypropylene (PP) composites was investigated. Characterization of C‐SiO2‐OMT, elucidated with X‐ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, and N2 adsorption–desorption, suggested that the powder had a mesoporous lamellar structure with high specific surface area and mesoporous volume. The formation of porous structure of C‐SiO2‐OMT was more conducive than organically modified montmorillonite (OMT) to slowing the volatilization of pyrolytic products generated during thermal degradation process, which led to PP/C‐SiO2‐OMT microcomposite show better thermal stability than PP/OMT nanocomposite at high temperature range. Flammability properties of these polymer materials evaluated by microscale combustion calorimetry, and cone calorimetry showed a contrary tendency, but C‐SiO2‐OMT holds high promise to reduce the smoke yield. A phosphorus and silicon containing liquid monomer (9,10‐dihydro‐9‐oxa‐10‐phosphaphenanthrene 10‐oxide–vinyltrimethoxysilane (DOPO–VTS)) was synthesized by the reaction between DOPO and VTS. DOPO–VTS and methacryloxypropyltrimethoxylsilane were introduced into unsaturated polyester resin to prepare flame retardant UPR/SiO2 (FR‐UPR/SiO2) hybrid materials by sol–gel method and curing process. DOPO–VTS contributes excellent flame retardancy to UPR matrix, which was confirmed by the limiting oxygen index and microscale combustion calorimeter results. The thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) results indicate that the FR‐UPR/SiO2 hybrid materials possess higher thermal stability and residual char yields than those of pure UPR at high temperature region. The thermal degradation of materials was investigated by TGA/infrared spectrometry (TG‐IR) and real‐time infrared spectrometry (RT‐IR), providing insight into the thermal degradation mechanism. Moreover, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to explore the morphologies and chemical components of the residual char. Hydrogenation of acetophenone over nano‐Cu/SiO2 catalysts was investigated. The catalysts, prepared by a liquid precipitation method using various precipitating agents, were characterized using low‐temperature nitrogen adsorption, X‐ray diffraction, temperature‐programmed desorption of ammonia, hydrogen temperature‐programmed reduction, transmission electron microscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. It was found that the catalysts prepared by a homogeneous precipitation method had better activity and stability than those prepared by a co‐precipitation method. The catalyst prepared using urea as precipitating agent had well‐dispersed copper species, high surface area and abundant pore structure. The catalytic performance and mechanism of the Cu/SiO2 catalysts were further studied. It was found that the activity and stability of the catalysts could be improved by adjusting the proportion of Cu+/(Cu+ + Cu0). The sample prepared using urea as precipitating agent presented higher activity and selectivity. Also, the catalyst prepared using urea maintained a high catalytic performance while being continuously used for 150 h under the optimal reaction conditions.  相似文献

In this paper silica nanoparticles with covalently grafted polymer chains were incorporated into bisphenol A dicyanate ester (BADCy) to prepare composites which resulted in improvements in the mechanical and thermal properties. Fourier‐transform infrared (FT‐IR) spectroscopy transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) were employed to examine the surface functionalization of silica nanoparticles. The effects of functionalized SiO2 (F‐SiO2) on the curing reactivity mechanical and thermal properties of BADCy resin were investigated systematically. The curing reaction of the system was facilitated with the addition of F‐SiO2. Meanwhile compared with the neat resin the incorporation of appropriate content of modified F‐SiO2 can enhance the mechanical properties including impact flexural strengths and fracture toughness KIC of BADCy resin. In addition the thermal stability of BADCy/F‐SiO2 nanocomposites is also superior to that of pure BADCy resin.  相似文献

Silica supported metal catalysts are most widely used in the modern chemical industry because of the high stability and tunable reactivity. The strong metal–support interaction (SMSI), which has been widely observed in metal oxide supported catalysts and significantly affects the catalytic behavior, has been speculated to rarely happen in silica supported catalysts since silica is hard to reduce. Here we revealed at the atomic scale the interfacial reaction induced SMSI in silica supported Co and Pt catalysts under reductive conditions at high temperature using aberration-corrected environmental transmission electron microscopy coupled with in situ electron energy loss spectroscopy. In a Co/SiO2 system, the amorphous SiO2 migrated onto the Co surface to form a crystallized quartz-SiO2 overlayer, and simultaneously an interlayer of Si was generated in-between. The metastable crystalline SiO2 overlayer subsequently underwent an order-to-disorder transition due to the continuous dissociation of SiO2 and the interfacial alloying of Si with the underlying Co. The SMSI in the Pt–SiO2 system was found to remarkably boost the catalytic hydrogenation. These findings demonstrate the universality of the SMSI in oxide supported catalysts, which is of general importance for designing catalysts and understanding catalytic mechanisms.

This work tracked at the atomic scale the interfacial reaction induced strong metal–support interaction between SiO2 and metal catalysts and evolution under reactive conditions by aberration-corrected environmental transmission electron microscopy.  相似文献

Bismaleimide‐modified novolak resin/silsesquioxane (BMI‐PN/SiO3/2) nanocomposites were prepared by the sol–gel process. The reactions in the sol–gel synthesis were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. It was found by field emission scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy studies that the particle size of the dispersed phase was about 100 nm, and there existed particle aggregates. The proportion of bismaleimide in the BMI‐PN/SiO3/2 nanocomposites showed an important effect on the thermal properties of the composites, as demonstrated by thermogravimetric analysis and dynamical mechanical analysis. Major improvements in the glass‐transition temperature and the heat resistance of the material were achieved by the introduction of the nanosized SiO3/2 inorganic phase, and the modulus at high temperatures was improved too. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A facile method has been developed for the fabrication of porous silicon carbide (SiC) by means of sintering a mixture of SiC powder and carbon pellets at a relatively lower temperature, that is, 1450 °C, in air. The pore density and the total pore volume of the resulting porous SiC could be tuned by changing the initial SiC/C weight ratio. The structure evolution and the associated property changes during the preparation were examined through X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, 29Si magic‐angle spinning (MAS) NMR spectroscopy, and mercury‐intrusion porosimetry analyses. Silica and SiOxCy ceramics formed in situ during the calcination process acted as binders of the porous SiC grains. The porous SiC can be used as a host for the growth of ZSM‐5 zeolite crystals to form the ZSM‐5/porous‐SiC composite material. After loading another catalytic active component of molybdenum, a novel catalytic material, Mo‐ZSM‐5/porous‐SiC, was obtained, which exhibited improved catalytic activity in the methane dehydroaromatization reaction.  相似文献

NH2SO3H–SiO2/water as a novel catalytic system was used for the synthesis of (α,β‐unsaturated) β‐amino ketones via aza‐Michael reaction at reflux conditions. The methodology was of general applicability and the catalyst exhibited activity up to five cycles. The catalyst was characterized for the first time using FT‐IR, X‐ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopic–energy dispersion analytical X‐ray. The stability of the catalyst was evaluated by differential scanning calorimetry and TGA/differential thermal analysis. High efficiency of the catalyst along with its recycling ability and the rather low loading demonstrated in reactions are the merits of the presented protocol. Polyaniline (PANI)/Fe3O4 composite hollow spheres have been successfully synthesized in one step using sulfonated polystyrene (PS) spheres as templates. The magnetic PANI hollow spheres were used as supports for noble metal nanoparticles (NPs) such as Au and Pd. The morphology, composition and magnetic properties of the resulting products were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, inductively coupled plasma (ICP) atomic spectra and vibrating sample magnetometer. The catalytic activity of magnetic PANI/Au composite shells on the oxidation of dopamine was investigated by cyclic voltammetry. The obtained results provide our product with a practical application for the detection of dopamine. On the other hand, the catalytic activity of magnetic PANI/Pd composite shells on the reduction of 4-nitroaniline was investigated by spectroscopic methods and compared with Pd/C catalyst which was already widely used in industrial production.  相似文献

Cu(II) immobilized on mesoporous organosilica nanoparticles (Cu2+@MSNs‐(CO2?)2) has been synthesized, as a inorganic–organic nanohybrid catalyst, through a post‐grafting approach. Its characterization is carried out by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Energy dispersive X‐ray (EDX), Thermogravimetric/differential thermal analyses (TGA‐DTA), and Nitrogen adsorption–desorption analysis. Cu2+@MSNs‐(CO2?)2 exhibits high catalytic activity in the Biginelli reaction for the synthesis of a diverse range of 3, 4‐dihydropyrimidin‐2(1H)‐ones, under mild conditions. The anchored Cu(II) could not leach out from the surface of the mesoporous catalyst during the reaction and it has been reused several times without appreciable loss in its catalytic activity.  相似文献

Polyaniline nanofibers and their composites with carbon nanotubes were developed as an effective flame‐retardant material using a facile green method. Polyaniline nanofibers were used as a smart flame‐retardant for acrylonitrile–butadiene–styrene polymer. The polyaniline nanofibers were dispersed in polymer matrix forming well‐dispersed polymer nanocomposites. Effect of polyaniline nanofiber mass ratio on the polymer nanocomposite properties was studied. Polyaniline nanofiber composites with carbon nanotubes were also dispersed in polymer matrix. The thermal stability and flammability properties of the polymer nanocomposites were investigated. The rate of burning of polymer nanocomposites achieved 82.5% reduction (7.32 mm/min) compared with virgin polymer (42.5 mm/min). The reduction in peak heat release rate and total heat release of the polymer nanocomposites containing nanofibers achieved 74 and 34%, respectively. Interestingly, the average mass loss rate was significantly reduced by 58% and the emission of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide gases were suppressed by 20 and 47%, respectively. The effect of polyaniline nanofibers composites on the flammability of polymer nanocomposites was also studied. Polyaniline nanofibers and their composites were characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and transmission and scanning electron microscopy. The dispersion of polyaniline nanofibers in polymer nanocomposites was characterized using transmission electron microscopy. The different polymer nanocomposites were characterized using thermogravimetric analysis, UL94 flame chamber, and cone calorimeter tests. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We report a highly efficient and recyclable heterogeneous zinc catalytic system via covalent immobilization of 2-hydroxyacetophenone (2-HAP) onto an amine functionalized silica gel followed by metallation with zinc chloride and its catalytic application in three component click synthesis of 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles. The structure of the synthesized organic–inorganic hybrid material (SiO2@APTES@2HAP-Zn) has been confirmed by various physicochemical characterization techniques, such as solid-state 13C CPMAS NMR spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction analysis (XRD), Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) surface area analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), energy-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (ED-XRF), and elemental analysis. The newly designed catalyst works under mild reaction conditions and also exhibits excellent performance in terms of good product yield and high turnover number (TON). One of the most important attributes of the present methodology is that the catalyst can be recycled several times without appreciable loss in its activity as proved by FTIR spectroscopy and SEM analysis. Besides, the heterogeneity test also confirms that no leaching of active catalytic species occurs from the silica supported zinc catalyst which confirms its remarkable structural stability under the reaction conditions.  相似文献

The catalyst is reusable and can be applied several times without any decrease in product yield. The synthesized catalyst was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy (EDS), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), N2 adsorption/desorption isotherms (BET), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR) and atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS).  相似文献

We report a facile method that combined sol–gel reaction, reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT)/macromolecular design via interchange of the xanthates process and thiol‐ene click reaction to prepare monodisperse silica core‐poly(N‐vinylimidazole) (PVim) shell microspheres of 200 nm in average diameters. First, silica with C = C double bonds was prepared by the sol–gel reaction of 3‐(trimethoxysilyl)propyl methacrylates (MPS) with tetraethoxysilane in ethanol; SiO2@PVim were subsequently prepared by grafting PVim chain (Mn = 9800 g/mol, polydispersity index = 1.22) to MPS‐SiO2 via the thiol‐ene click chemisty. The obtained SiO2@PVim microspheres show higher catalytic activity toward the hydrolysis of p‐nitrophenyl acetate compared with the PVim homopolymers. The as‐prepared composites have been characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, thermal gravimetric analysis and Fourier transform infrared spectrometry analysis.
