The compound [NH(3)(CH(2))(2)NH(2)(CH(2))(2)NH(3)](2)[Mo(9)O(30)] was synthesized at 170 degrees C via hydrothermal techniques from the starting materials of Na(2)MoO(4).H(2)O, NH(2)(CH(2))(2)NH(CH(3))(2)NH(2), and H(2)O. The compound crystallizes in the space group C2/c of the monoclinic system with a = 21.308(4) A, b = 9.234(2) A, c = 19.195(4) A, beta = 120.27(3) degrees, V = 3261.9(11)A(3), Z = 4. Two novel and symmetrically related helices coexist in the centrosymmetric solid, in which the two kinds of helices appear in the left-handed and right-handed enantiomorphs, respectively. This is the first example of a helical chain structure consisting of only molybdenum-oxide building blocks. The central axis about each helical chain is a 2-fold screw axis.  相似文献

Tetranuclear V(III) complexes, [HB(pz)(3)](4)V(4)(&mgr;-C(6)H(5)OPO(3))(4) (I), its acetonitrile solvate (I.4CH(3)CN), and [HB(pz)(3)](4)V(4)(&mgr;-O(2)NC(6)H(4)OPO(3))(4).4C(7)H(8).H(2)O (II), and tetranuclear vanadyl complexes, (t-Bupz)(4)V(4)O(4)(&mgr;-C(6)H(5)PO(3))(4).2H(2)O (III) and (t-Bupz)(5)V(4)O(4)(&mgr;-C(6)H(5)PO(3))(4).4CH(3)CN.0.6 H(2)O (IV), have been prepared and characterized by spectroscopic, magnetic, and electrochemical methods (pz = pyrazole, t-Bupz = tert-butylpyrazole). The use of organic solvents and bulky organic groups as ancillary ligands leads to formation of neutral species instead of the anionic clusters commonly found in the hydrothermal synthesis of vanadium organophosphate/phosphonate systems. Complexes I.4CH(3)CN and IV have also been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystal data: I.4CH(3)CN, triclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 15.495(3) ?, b = 17.000(3) ?, c = 17.949(4) ?, alpha = 89.17(3) degrees, beta = 86.00(3) degrees, gamma = 78.60(3) degrees, Z = 2; IV, triclinic, P&onemacr;, a = 15.541(3) ?, b = 16.340(2) ?, c = 19.069(5) ?, alpha = 83.58(2) degrees, beta = 79.67(2) degrees, gamma = 63.68(1) degrees, Z = 2. Both are closed clusters, the core structure of the first consisting of a cubane-like arrangement of metal octahedra and phosphate tetrahedra and the core structure of the second consisting of a distorted, collapsed variant of the first. Unlike other vanadium phosphate clusters, these compounds form in the absence of a central, templating agent. As such they represent the simplest form of a closed cluster in which steric forces and cluster connectivity requirements play the primary role in organizing the cluster framework.  相似文献

Three new vanadate compounds of the formulas (C(2)N(2)H(10))VO(OH)(4) (I), (NH(4))(3)(C(3)N(2)H(5))V(4)O(10) (II), and V(OH)(3).0.97H(2)O (III) have been synthesized by a solvothermal method and characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and thermogravimetric analysis. The crystal structures of the above three vanadates have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound I crystallizes as tetragonal, space group P4/mmm, with a = 9.0465(11) A, c = 3.9897(10) A, V = 326.51(10) A(3), and Z = 2. Compound II crystallizes as orthorhombic, space group Immm, with a = 3.6012(10) A, b = 11.312(4) A, c = 15.050(4) A, V = 613.1(3) A3, and Z = 2. Compound III crystallizes as cubic, space group Fd3m, with a = 10.4252(17) A, V = 1133.1(3) A(3), and Z = 16. Structural analyses reveal a one-dimensional beeline-chained structure, which consists of VO(6) octahedra in I. Compound II possesses a two-dimensional V-O-layered structure formed by VO(5) square pyramids; protonated imidazole and remaining NH(4+) cations are inserted between the layers. The three-dimensional open framework of III with the pyrochlore type consists of V(12) and V(4) secondary building units by using VO(6) octahedra as building units.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of the novel systems [Zn(2)(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(5)][(Zn(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(2))(2)V(18)O(42)(H(2)O)].9H(2)O (1), [Cd(2)(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(5)][(Cd(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(2))(2)V(18)O(42)(Br)].9H(2)O (2), and [Zn(2)(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(5)][(Zn(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(2))(2)V(18)O(42)(Cl)].9H(2)O (3) have been described. These materials represent a new class of solids that have been prepared by combining conventional coordination compounds with spherical polyoxovanadate clusters. The isomorphous structures of these hybrid solids consist of two-dimensional arrays of container cluster molecules [V(18)O(42)(X)] (X = H(2)O, Br-, Cl-) interlinked by the transition metal complex moieties [M(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(2)] (M = Zn, Cd). These compounds contain an unprecedented complex cation, [M(2)(H(2)N(CH(2))(2)NH(2))(5)](4+). Crystal data for 1: C(9)H(46)N(9)O(26)V(9)Zn(2), monoclinic space group P2(1)/m (No. 11), a = 12.3723(7) A, b = 20.9837(11) A, c = 15.8379(8) A, beta = 97.3320(10) degrees, Z = 4.  相似文献

The "anti-crown" B-hexamethyl 9-mercuracarborand-3 (1) was shown to complex halide ions (I-, Br-, Cl-) in an eta(3)-sandwich fashion. Symmetry-allowed interactions of the filled halide ion p-orbitals and the corresponding empty mercury p-orbitals result in three equivalent p(Hg)-p(halide)-p(Hg) three-center two-electron bonds and a sandwich structure. The molecular structures of [Li.(H(2)O)(4)][1(2).I].2CH(3)CN, MePPh(3)[1(2).Br].((CH(3))(2)CO)(2).(H(2)O)(2), and PPN[1(2).Cl] were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Compound [Li.(H(2)O)(4)][1(2).I].2CH(3)CN crystallized in the triclinic space group P-1, a = 13.312(8) A, b = 13.983(9) A, c = 13.996(9) A, alpha = 61.16(2) degrees, beta = 82.34(2) degrees, gamma = 86.58(2) degrees, V = 4365(2) A(3), Z = 1, R = 0.063, and R(w) = 0.171. Compound MePPh(3)[1(2).Br].((CH(3))(2)CO)(2).(H(2)O)(2) crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c, a = 24.671(8) A, b = 17.576(6) A, c = 26.079(8) A, beta = 106.424(6) degrees, V = 10847(6) A(3), Z = 8, R = 0.0607, and R(w) = 0.1506. Compound PPN[1(2).Cl] crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/m, a = 37.27(2) A, b = 29.25(1) A, c = 10.990(4) A, beta = 100.659(7) degrees, V = 11774(8) A(3), Z = 4, R = 0.0911, and R(w) = 0.2369.  相似文献

Oxide methanesulfonates of Mo, U, Re, and V have been prepared by reaction of MoO(3), UO(2)(CH(3)COO)(2)·2H(2)O, Re(2)O(7)(H(2)O)(2), and V(2)O(5) with CH(3)SO(3)H or mixtures thereof with its anhydride. These compounds are the first examples of solvent-free oxide methanesulfonates of these elements. MoO(2)(CH(3)SO(3))(2) (Pbca, a=1487.05(4), b=752.55(2), c=1549.61(5) pm, V=1.73414(9) nm(3), Z=8) contains [MoO(2)] moieties connected by [CH(3)SO(3)] ions to form layers parallel to (100). UO(2)(CH(3)SO(3))(2) (P2(1)/c, a=1320.4(1), b=1014.41(6), c=1533.7(1) pm, β=112.80(1)°, V=1.8937(3) nm(3), Z=8) consists of linear UO(2)(2+) ions coordinated by five [CH(3)SO(3)] ions, forming a layer structure. VO(CH(3)SO(3))(2) (P2(1)/c, a=1136.5(1), b=869.87(7), c=915.5(1) pm, β=113.66(1)°, V=0.8290(2) nm(3), Z=4) contains [VO] units connected by methanesulfonate anions to form corrugated layers parallel to (100). In ReO(3)(CH(3)SO(3)) (P1, a=574.0(1), b=1279.6(3), c=1641.9(3) pm, α=102.08(2), β=96.11(2), γ=99.04(2)°, V=1.1523(4) nm(3), Z=8) a chain structure exhibiting infinite O-[ReO(2)]-O-[ReO(2)]-O chains is formed. Each [ReO(2)]-O-[ReO(2)] unit is coordinated by two bidentate [CH(3)SO(3)] ions. V(2)O(3)(CH(3)SO(3))(4) (I2/a, a=1645.2(3), b=583.1(1), c=1670.2(3) pm, β=102.58(3), V=1.5637(5) pm(3), Z=4) adopts a chain structure, too, but contains discrete [VO]-O-[VO] moieties, each coordinated by two bidentate [CH(3)SO(3)] ligands. Additional methanesulfonate ions connect the [V(2)O(3)] groups along [001]. Thermal decomposition of the compounds was monitored under N(2) and O(2) atmosphere by thermogravimetric/differential thermal analysis and XRD measurements. Under N(2) the decomposition proceeds with reduction of the metal leading to the oxides MoO(2), U(3)O(7), V(4)O(7), and VO(2); for MoO(2)(CH(3)SO(3))(2), a small amount of MoS(2) is formed. If the thermal decomposition is carried out in a atmosphere of O(2) the oxides MoO(3) and V(2)O(5) are formed.  相似文献

Hydrothermal reaction of H(3)PO(3), CH(3)NH(2), zinc(II) acetate, 4,4'-bipyridine (bipy), and (NH(4))(6)Mo(7)O(24).4H(2)O at 180 degrees C led to a novel organic-inorganic layered hybrid, [CH(3)NH(3)][H(2)bipy][Zn(4)(bipy)(3)(H(2)O)(2)Mo(V)(8)Mo(VI)O(36)(PO(4))].4H(2)O (1). Its structure was established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with cell parameters of a = 17.3032(2), b = 17.8113(3), and c = 23.4597 (4) A, beta = 106.410(1) degrees, V = 6935.6(2) A(3), and Z = 4. The structure of compound 1 features a novel 2D layer built from the 8e-reduced tetracapped Keggin [Zn(4)Mo(12)O(36)(PO(4))](3)(-) anions, which are further interconnected by bridging bipy ligands. The four zinc(II) ions are in tetrahedral, trigonal bipyramidal, and octahedral coordination geometries, respectively.  相似文献

A series of [3 x 3] Mn(II)(9), antiferromagnetically coupled, alkoxide-bridged, square grid complexes, derived from a group of "tritopic" dihydrazide ligands, is described. The outer ring of eight Mn(II) centers in the grids is isolated magnetically from the central Mn(II) ion, leading to an S = 0 ground state for the ring, and an S = 5/2 ground state overall in each case. Exchange in the Mn(II)(8) ring can be represented by a 1D chain exchange model. Rich electrochemistry displayed by these systems has led to the production of Mn(II)/Mn(III) mixed-oxidation-state grids by both electrochemical and chemical means. Structures are reported for [Mn(9)(2poap)(6)](C(2)N(3))(6).10H(2)O (1), [Mn(9)(2poap)(6)](2)[Mn(NCS)(4)(H(2)O)](2)(NCS)(8).10H(2)O (2), [Mn(9)(2poapz)(6)](NO(3))(6).14.5H(2)O (3), [Mn(9)(2popp)(6)](NO(3))(6).12H(2)O (4), [Mn(9)(2pomp)(6)](MnCl(4))(2)Cl(2).2CH(3)OH.7H(2)O (5), and [Mn(9)(Cl2poap)(6)](ClO(4))(9).7H(2)O (6). Compound 5 crystallized in the tetragonal system, space group I, with a = 18.2700(2) A, c = 26.753(2) A, and Z = 2. Compound 6 crystallized in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 19.044(2) A, b = 19.457(2) A, c = 23.978(3) A, alpha = 84.518(3) degrees, beta = 81.227(3) degrees, gamma = 60.954(2) degrees, and Z = 2. The reaction of cis-[Ru(NO)(CH(3)CN)(bpy)(2)](3+) (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine) in H(2)O at room temperature proceeded to afford two new nitrosylruthenium complexes. These complexes have been identified as nitrosylruthenium complexes containing the N-bound methylcarboxyimidato ligand, cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(O)CH(3))(bpy)(2)](2+), and methylcarboxyimido acid ligand, cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(OH)CH(3))(bpy)(2)](3+), formed by an electrophilic reaction at the nitrile carbon of the acetonitrile coordinated to the ruthenium ion. The X-ray structure analysis on a single crystal obtained from CH(3)CN-H(2)O solution of cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(O)CH(3))(bpy)(2)](PF(6))(3) has been performed: C(22)H(20.5)N(6)O(2)P(2.5)F(15)Ru, orthorhombic, Pccn, a = 15.966(1) A, b = 31.839(1) A, c = 11.707(1) A, V = 5950.8(4) A(3), and Z = 8. The structural results revealed that the single crystal consisted of 1:1 mixture of cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(O)CH(3))(bpy)(2)](2+) and cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(OH)CH(3))(bpy)(2)](3+) and the structural formula of this single crystal was thus [Ru(NO)(NH=C(OH(0.5))CH(3))(bpy)(2)](PF(6))(2.5). The reaction of cis-[Ru(NO)(CH(3)CN)(bpy)(2)](3+) in dry CH(3)OH-CH(3)CN at room temperature afforded a nitrosylruthenium complex containing the methyl methylcarboxyimidate ligand, cis-[Ru(NO)(NH=C(OCH(3))CH(3))(bpy)(2)](3+). The structure has been determined by X-ray structure analysis: C(25)H(29)N(8)O(18)Cl(3)Ru, monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 13.129(1) A, b = 17.053(1) A, c = 15.711(1) A, beta = 90.876(5) degrees, V = 3517.3(4) A(3), and Z = 4.  相似文献

Compound II crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 32.8085(6) A, b = 9.0482(2) A, c = 27.2972(3) A, beta = 125.720(1) degrees, Z = 8. Compound III crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 14.6132(1) A, b = 17.0884(2) A, c = 9.7082(2) A, beta = 108.63(1) degrees, Z = 4. Compound IV crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 9.7436(1) A, b = 11.3894(2) A, c = 20.0163(3) A, beta = 90.041(1) degrees, Z = 4, as a pseudo-merohedrally twinned cell. Compound V crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 13.197(4) A, b = 9.997(4) A, c = 18.189(7) A, beta = 100.77(1) degrees, Z = 4. Compound VI crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 13.5624(1) A, b = 10.3007(1) A, c = 18.6738(1) A, beta = 100.670(1) degrees, Z = 4. Optical band-gap measurements by diffuse reflectance show that compounds I and III contain tetravalent uranium as part of an extended electronic system. Thorium-containing compounds are large-gap materials. Raman spectroscopy on single crystals displays the vibrational characteristics expected for [PS(4)](3)(-), [P(2)S(7)](4-), and the new [P(3)S(10)](5)(-) building blocks. This new thiophosphate building block has not been observed except in the structure of the uranium-containing compound Cs(8)U(5)(P(3)S(10))(2)(PS(4))(6).  相似文献

Two open-framework neodymium oxalates, [NH(3)CH(2)CH(NH(3))CH(3)][Nd(C(2)O(4))(2)(HCOO)].H(2)O (I) and [OC(CH(3))NCH(2)CH(CH(3))NH(3)][Nd(C(2)O(4))(2)].H(2)O (II), have been synthesized hydrothermally in the presence of 1,2-diaminopropane (1,2-DAP) and formic (I) and acetic (II) acids. The Nd atoms in both these oxalates have 9-fold coordination with respect to the oxygens, with the Nd atom in a distorted monocapped square antiprism coordination in I and in an idealized D(3)(h) triply capped trigonal prism coordination in II. The three-dimensional framework structures of I and II are built up by in-plane linkages between the Nd and the oxalate moieties, forming layers with 12-membered honeycomb-like apertures, pillared by an out-of-plane oxalate unit. The 12-memberd channel in I contains a dangling formate group in addition to the disordered amine molecule, while in II, the channel has N-(2-aminopropyl acetimide) molecules formed by the in situ reaction of 1,2-DAP and acetic acid. The accessibility of the formate and N-(2-aminopropyl acetimide) functional groups in I and II, respectively, uniformly distributed within the channels enables chemical manipulation. Crystal data: I, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c (no. 14), M = 459.5, a = 9.0279(4) A, b = 18.1362(8) A, c = 8.5631(4) A, beta = 102.735(10) degrees, V = 1367.56(11) A(3), Z = 4, R(1) = 0.0229, wR(2) = 0.0599 [1782 observed reflections with I > 2sigma(I)]; II, triclinic, space group P(-)1 (no. 2), M = 454.5, a = 8.6222(9) A, b = 9.5683(10) A, c = 9.5712(10) A, alpha = 109.388(2) degrees, beta = 98.508(10) degrees, gamma = 102.361(12) degrees, V = 706.73(13) A(3), Z = 2, R(1) = 0.0446, wR(2) = 0.115 [1730 observed reflections with I > 2sigma(I)].  相似文献

The sulfates Nb(2)O(2)(SO(4))(3), MoO(2)(SO(4)), WO(SO(4))(2,) and two modifications of Re(2)O(5)(SO(4))(2) have been synthesized by the solvothermal reaction of NbCl(5), WOCl(4), Re(2)O(7)(H(2)O)(2), and MoO(3) with sulfuric acid/SO(3) mixtures at temperatures between 200 and 300 °C. Besides the X-ray crystal structure determination of all compounds, the thermal behavior was investigated using thermogravimetric studies. WO(SO(4))(2) (monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 7.453(1) ?, b = 11.8232(8) ?, c = 7.881(1) ?, β = 107.92(2)°, V = 660.7(1) ?(3), Z = 4) and both modifications of Re(2)O(5)(SO(4))(2) (I: orthorhombic, Pba2, a = 9.649(1) ?, b = 8.4260(8) ?, c = 5.9075(7) ?, V = 480.27(9) ?(3), Z = 2; II: orthorhombic, Pbcm, a = 7.1544(3) ?, b = 7.1619(3) ?, c = 16.8551(7) ?, V = 863.64(6) ?(3), Z = 4) are the first structurally characterized examples of tungsten and rhenium oxide sulfates. Their crystal structure contains layers of sulfate connected [W═O] moieties or [Re(2)O(5)] units, respectively. The cohesion between layers is realized through weak M-O contacts (343-380 pm). Nb(2)O(2)(SO(4))(3) (orthorhombic, Pna2(1), a = 9.9589(7) ?, b = 11.7983(7) ?, c = 8.6065(5) ?, V = 1011.3(1) ?(3), Z = 4) represents a new sulfate-richer niobium oxide sulfate. The crystal structure contains a three-dimensional network of sulfate connected [Nb═O] moieties. In MoO(2)(SO(4)) (monoclinic, I2/a, a = 8.5922(6) ?, b = 12.2951(6) ?, c = 25.671(2) ?, β = 94.567(9)°, V = 2703.4(3) ?(3), Z = 24) [MoO(2)] units are connected through sulfate ions to a three-dimensional network, which is pervaded by channels along [100] accommodating the terminal oxide ligands. In all compounds except WO(SO(4))(2), the metal ions are octahedrally coordinated by monodentate sulfate ions and oxide ligands forming short M═O bonds. In WO(SO(4))(2), the oxide ligand and two monodentate and two bidentate sulfate ions build a pentagonal bipyramid around W. The thermal stability of the sulfates decreases in the order Nb > Mo > W > Re; the residues formed during the decomposition are the corresponding oxides.  相似文献

Reaction of Na(2)Mo(VI)O(4) x 2H(2)O with (NH(4))(2)SO(3) in the mixed-solvent system H(2)O/CH(3)CN (pH = 5) resulted in the formation of the tetranuclear cluster (NH(4))(4)[Mo(4)(VI)SO(16)] x H(2)O (1), while the same reaction in acidic aqueous solution (pH = 5) yielded (NH(4))(4)[Mo(5)(VI)S(2)O(21)] x 3H(2)O (2). Compound {(H(2)bipy)(2)[Mo(5)(VI)S(2)O(21)] x H(2)O}(x) (3) was obtained from the reaction of aqueous acidic solution of Na(2)Mo(VI)O(4) x 2H(2)O with (NH(4))(2)SO(3) (pH = 2.5) and 4,4'-bipyridine (4,4'-bipy). The mixed metal/sulfite species (NH(4))(7)[Co(III)(Mo(2)(V)O(4))(NH(3))(SO(3))(6)] x 4H(2)O (4) was synthesized by reacting Na(2)Mo(VI)O(4) x 2H(2)O with CoCl(2) x 6H(2)O and (NH(4))(2)SO(3) with precise control of pH (5.3) through a redox reaction. The X-ray crystal structures of compounds 1, 2, and 4 were determined. The structure of compound 1 consists of a ring of four alternately face- and edge-sharing Mo(VI)O(6) octahedra capped by the trigonal pyramidal sulfite anion, while at the base of the Mo(4) ring is an oxo group which is asymmetrically shared by all four molybdenum atoms. Compound 3 is based on the Strandberg-type heteropolyion [Mo(5)(VI)S(2)O(21)](4-), and these coordinatively saturated clusters are joined by diprotonated 4,4'-H(2)bipy(2+) through strong hydrogen bonds. Compound 3 crystallizes in the chiral space group C2. The structure of compound 4 consists of a novel trinuclear [Co(III)Mo(2)(V)SO(3)(2-)] cluster. The chiral compound 3 exhibits nonlinear optical (NLO) and photoluminescence properties. The assignment of the sulfite bands in the IR spectrum of 4 has been carried out by density functional calculations. The cobalt in 4 is a d(6) octahedral low-spin metal atom as it was evidenced by magnetic susceptibility measurements, cw EPR, BVS, and DFT calculations. The IR and solid-state UV-vis spectra as well as the thermogravimetric analyses of compounds 1-4 are also reported.  相似文献

The phase stability of organically templated uranium sulfates in the [UO(2)(CH(3)CO(2))(2).2H(2)O/homopiperazine/H(2)SO(4)] and [UO(2)(CH(3)CO(2))(2).2H(2)O/N,N-dimethylethylenediamine/H(2)SO(4)] systems has been studied using composition space. Two new compounds were formed in each system; [N(2)C(5)H(14)](2)[UO(2)(SO(4))(3)] (USO-17) and [N(2)C(5)H(14)][UO(2)(H(2)O)(SO(4))(2)] (USO-18) contain homopiperazine, and [N(2)C(4)H(14)][UO(2)(SO(4))(2)] (USO-19) and [N(2)C(4)H(14)][(UO(2))(2)(H(2)O)(SO(4))(3)].H(2)O (USO-20) contain N,N-dimethylethylenediamine. The relative stability of the products from each system is dependent upon the reactant mole fractions in the initial reaction gel. Triflate salts of four platinum(II) pyridyl complexes with a mer-coordinating tridentate pincer ligand, pip(2)NCN(-) (pip(2)NCNH = 1,3-bis(piperidylmethyl)benzene), are reported: Pt(pip(2)NCN)(L)(+) (2, L = pyridine; 3, L = 4-phenylpyridine; 5, L = 2,6-pyridinedimethanol) and [(Pt(pip(2)NCN))(2)(micro-4,4'-bipyridine)](2+) (4). The complexes have been fully characterized by (1)H NMR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and X-ray crystallography. Compound 2(CF(3)SO(3)(-)): triclinic, P1, a = 9.7518(6) A, b = 12.0132(8) A, c = 12.6718(9) A, alpha = 114.190(2) degrees, beta = 100.745(3) degrees, gamma = 103.545(2) degrees, V = 1247.95(14) A(3), Z = 2. Compound 3(CF(3)SO(3)(-)): monoclinic, P2(1)/c, a = 15.550(2) A, b = 9.7386(11) A, c = 18.965(3) A, beta = 92.559(7) degrees, V = 2869.1(6) A(3), Z = 4. Compound 4(CF(3)SO(3)(-))(2).1/2(CH(3))(2)CO: monoclinic, I2/a, a = 21.3316(5) A, b = 9.6526(2) A, c = 26.1800(6) A, beta = 96.4930(10) degrees, V = 5356.0(2) A(3), Z = 4. Compound 5(CF(3)SO(3)(-)).3/2CHCl(3): monoclinic, P2(1)/n, a = 17.1236(10) A, b = 9.3591(5) A, c = 21.3189(11) A, beta = 96.11(3) degrees, V = 3397.2(3) A(3), Z = 4. The accumulated data indicate that the phenyl group of pip(2)NCN(-) labilizes the trans pyridyl ligand. The electronic structures were investigated using cyclic voltammetry, as well as UV-visible absorption and emission spectroscopies. Red emission from 2 in rigid media originates from a lowest triplet ligand field excited state, whereas yellow-green emissions from 3 and 4 originate from a lowest pyridyl ligand-centered triplet pi-pi state, indicating that substitution of the pyridyl ligand results in a dramatic change in the orbital character of the emissive state.  相似文献

A series of novel organically templated metal sulfates, [C(5)H(14)N(2)][M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2) with (M(II) = Mn (1), Fe (2), Co (3) and Ni (4)), have been successfully synthesized by slow evaporation and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction as well as with infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis and magnetic measurements. All compounds were prepared using a racemic source of the 2-methylpiperazine and they crystallized in the monoclinic systems, P2(1)/n for (1, 3) and P2(1)/c for (2,4). Crystal data are as follows: [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Mn(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.6385(10) ?, b = 11.0448(2) ?, c = 12.6418(2) ?, β = 101.903(10)°, V = 906.98(3) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Fe(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.9273(2) ?, b = 7.8620(10) ?, c = 11.7845(3) ?, β = 116.733(10)°, V = 904.20(3) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Co(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 6.5710(2) ?, b = 10.9078(3) ?, c = 12.5518(3) ?, β = 101.547(2)°, V = 881.44(4) ?(3), Z = 2; [C(5)H(14)N(2)][Ni(H(2)O)(6)](SO(4))(2), a = 10.8328(2) ?, b = 7.8443(10) ?, c = 11.6790(2) ?, β = 116.826(10)°, V = 885.63(2) ?(3), Z = 2. The three-dimensional structure networks for these compounds consist of isolated [M(II)(H(2)O)(6)](2+) and [C(5)H(14)N(2)](2+) cations and (SO(4))(2-) anions linked by hydrogen-bonds only. The use of racemic 2-methylpiperazine results in crystallographic disorder of the amines and creation of inversion centers. The magnetic measurements indicate that the Mn complex (1) is paramagnetic, while compounds 2, 3 and 4, (M(II) = Fe, Co, Ni respectively) exhibit single ion anisotropy.  相似文献

A series of experiments in the UO(2)(CH(3)CO(2))(2).2H(2)O/H(2)SO(4)/1-(2-aminoethyl)piperazine/H(2)O system were conducted to determine the effects of variation in initial reactant concentrations on the reaction products. Several reaction gels were produced, in which the composition varied from 16:80:4:500 UO(2)(CH(3)CO(2))(2).2H(2)O/H(2)SO(4)/1-(2-aminoethyl)piperazine/H(2)O to 4:92:4:500 UO(2)(CH(3)CO(2))(2).2H(2)O/H(2)SO(4)/1-(2-aminoethyl)piperazine/H(2)O. Single crystals of two new organically templated uranium sulfates, [N(3)C(6)H(18)](2)[(UO(2))(5)(H(2)O)(SO(4))(8)].5H(2)O and [N(3)C(6)H(18)][(UO(2))(2)(H(2)O)(SO(4))(3)(HSO(4))].4.5H(2)O, were isolated. Both compounds exhibit structures in which the inorganic frameworks are two-dimensional and the protonated amines reside between layers, participating in extensive hydrogen bonding. The composition and structure of each compound is dependent on the nature of the starting concentrations. Crystal data: for [N(3)C(6)H(18)](2)[(UO(2))(5)(H(2)O)(SO(4))(8)].5H(2)O, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n (No. 14), a = 21.5597(3) A, b = 10.2901(2) A, c = 22.8403(3) A, beta = 96.7436(7) degrees, and Z = 4; for [N(3)C(6)H(18)][(UO(2))(2)(H(2)O)(SO(4))(3)(HSO(4))].4.5H(2)O, monoclinic, space group P2(1)/a (No. 14), a = 15.7673(4) A, b = 10.5813(3) A, c = 16.7710(5) A, beta = 99.9216(9) degrees, and Z = 4.  相似文献

Reactions of the unsymmetrical phenol ligand 2-(bis(2-pyridylmethyl)aminomethyl)-6-((2-pyridylmethyl)(benzyl)aminomethyl)-4-methylphenol with Mn(OAc)(2).4H(2)O or Mn(H(2)O)(6)(ClO(4))(2) in the presence of NaOBz affords the dimanganese(II) complexes 1(CH(3)OH), [Mn(2)(L)(OAc)(2)(CH(3)OH)](ClO(4)), and 2(H(2)O), [Mn(2)(L)(OBz)(2)(H(2)O)](ClO(4)), respectively. On the other hand, reaction of the ligand with hydrated manganese(III) acetate furnishes the mixed-valent derivative 3(H(2)O), [Mn(2)(L)(OAc)(2)(H(2)O)](ClO(4))( 2). The three complexes have been characterized by X-ray crystallography. 1(CH(3)OH) crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 10.9215(6) A, b = 20.2318(12) A, c = 19.1354(12) A, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 97.5310(10) degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, V = 4191.7 A(3), and Z = 4. 2(H(2)O) crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n, with a = 10.9215(6) A, b = 20.2318(12) A, c = 19.1354(12) A, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 97.5310(10) degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, V = 4191.7 A(3), and Z = 4. 3(H(2)O) crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/c, with a = 11.144(6) A, b = 18.737(10) A, c = 23.949(13) A, alpha = 90 degrees, beta = 95.910(10) degrees, gamma = 90 degrees, V = 4974(5) A(3), and Z = 4. Magnetic measurements revealed that the three compounds exhibit very similar magnetic exchange interactions -J = 4.3(3) cm(-)(1). They were used to establish tentative magneto-structural correlations which show that for the dimanganese(II) complexes -J decreases when the Mn-O(phenoxo) distance increases as expected from orbital overlap considerations. For the dimanganese(II,III) complexes, crystallographic results show that the Mn(II)-O(phenoxo) and Mn(III)-O(phenoxo) bond lengths are inversely correlated. An interesting magneto-structural correlation is found between -J and the difference between these bond lengths, delta(Mn)(-)(O) = d(Mn)()II(-)(O) - d(Mn)()III(-)(O): the smaller this difference, the larger -J. Electrochemical studies show that the mixed-valence state is favored in 1-3 by ca. 100 mV with respect to analogous complexes of symmetrical ligands, owing to the asymmetry of the electron density as found in the analogous diiron complexes.  相似文献

Four new zinc diphosphonate compounds with formulas [NH(3)(CH(2))(2)NH(3)]Zn(hedpH(2))(2).2H(2)O, 1, [NH(3)(CH(2))(n)()NH(3)]Zn(2)(hedpH)(2).2H(2)O, (n = 4, 2; n = 5, 3; n = 6, 4) (hedp = 1-hydroxyethylidenediphosphonate) have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions at 110 degrees C and in the presence of alkylenediamines NH(2)(CH(2))(n)()NH(2) (n = 2, 4, 5, 6). Crystallographic data for 1: monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 24.7422(15), b = 5.2889(2), c = 16.0338(2) A, beta = 117.903(1) degrees, V = 1856.17(18) A(3), Z = 4; 2: monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a = 5.4970(3), b = 12.1041(6), c = 16.2814(12) A, beta = 98.619(5) degrees, V = 1071.07(11) A(3), Z = 2; 3: monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n, a = 5.5251(2), b = 12.5968(3), c = 16.1705(5) A, beta = 99.182(1) degrees, V = 1111.02(6) A(3), Z = 2; 4: triclinic, space group P-1, a = 5.4785(2), b = 14.1940(5), c = 16.0682(6) A, alpha = 81.982(2) degrees, beta = 89.435(2) degrees, gamma = 79.679(2) degrees, V = 1217.11(8) A(3), Z = 2. In compound 1, two of the phosphonate oxygens are protonated. The metal ions are bridged by the hedpH(2)(2-) groups through three of the remaining four phosphonate oxygens, forming a one-dimensional infinite chain. The protonated ethylenediamines locate between the chains in the lattice. In compounds 2-4, only one phosphonate oxygen is protonated. Compounds 2 and 3 have a similar three-dimensional open-network structure composed of [Zn(2)(hedpH)(2)](n) double chains with strong hydrogen bonding interactions between them, thus generating channels along the [100] direction. The protonated diamines and water molecules reside in the channels. Compound 4 contains two types of [Zn(2)(hedpH)(2)](n) double chains which are held together by strong hydrogen bonds, forming a two-dimensional network. The interlayer spaces are occupied by the [NH(3)(CH(2))(6)NH(3)](2+) cations and water molecules. The significant difference between structures 2-4 is also featured by the coordination geometries of the zinc atoms. The geometries of those in 2 can be described as distorted octahedral, and those in 3 as distorted square pyramidal. In 4, two independent zinc atoms are found, each with a distorted octahedral and a tetrahedral geometry, respectively.  相似文献

Six new metal-organic coordination networks based on linking unit 2,5-bis(4-pyridyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole (L(1)) or 2,5-bis(3-pyridyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (L(3)) and inorganic Cu(II), Cd(II), and Co(II) salts have been prepared and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray analysis. Using L(1) to react with three different Cu(II) salts, Cu(OAc)(2).H(2)O, Cu(NO(3))(2).3H(2)O, and CuSO(4).5H(2)O, respectively, two different one-dimensional (1-D) coordination polymers, [[Cu(2)L(1)(mu-OAc)(4)](CHCl(3))(2)](n) (1) [triclinic, space group P1, a = 7.416(3) A, b = 8.207(3) A, c = 14.137(5) A, alpha = 100.333(7) degrees, beta = 105.013(6) degrees, gamma = 94.547(6) degrees, Z = 1] and [[CuL(1)(NO(3))(2)](CHCl(3))(0.5)](n) (2) [monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 28.070(8) A, b = 9.289(3) A, c = 15.235(4) A, beta = 113.537(5) degrees, Z = 8], and a chiral 3-D open framework, [[CuL(1)(H(2)O)(SO(4))](H(2)O)(2)](n) (3) [orthorhombic, space group P2(1)2(1)2(1), a = 5.509(2) A, b = 10.545(4) A, c = 29.399(11) A, Z = 4], were obtained. Reaction of L(1) and Cd(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O or Co(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O, in the presence of NH(4)SCN, yielded another 3-D open framework, [[CdL(1)(NCS)(2)](CH(3)OH)(1.5)](n) (4) [monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 28.408(10) A, b = 9.997(5) A, c = 7.358(4) A, beta = 99.013(8) degrees, Z = 4], or a 2-D network, [[Co(L(1)())(2)(NCS)(2)](H(2)O)(2.5)](n) (5) [orthorhombic, space group Pnna, a = 22.210(5) A, b = 12.899(3) A, c = 20.232(4) A, Z = 4]. When L(1) was replaced by L(3) to react with Co(ClO(4))(2).6H(2)O and NH(4)SCN, another 2-D coordination polymer, [Co(L(3))(2)(NCS)(2)](n) (6) [monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, a = 8.120(3) A, b = 9.829(4) A, c = 17.453(6) A, beta = 103.307(6) degrees, Z = 2], was constructed. These results indicate that the nature of the ligands, metal centers, or counteranions plays the critical role in construction of these novel coordination polymers. The interesting porous natures of two 3-D open frameworks 3 and 4 were investigated by TGA and XPRD techniques, and the magnetic properties of the Cu(II) and Co(II) complexes were studied by variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility and magnetization measurements.  相似文献
