A recent trend in the iterative methods for constructing fixed points of nonlinear mappings is to use the viscosity approximation technique. The advantage of this technique is that one can find a particular solution to the associated problems, and in most cases this particular solution solves some variational inequality. In this paper, we try to extend this technique to find a particular common fixed point of a finite family of asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space which is reflexive and has a weakly continuous duality map. Both implicit and explicit viscosity approximation schemes are proposed and their strong convergence to a solution to a variational inequality is proved.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove a strong convergence theorem by the hybrid method for a countable family of relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space. We also establish a new control condition for the sequence of mappings {Tn} which is weaker than the control condition in Lemma 3.1 of Aoyama et al. [K. Aoyama, Y. Kimura, W. Takahashi and M. Toyoda, Approximation of common fixed points of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space, Nonlinear Anal. 67 (2007) 2350-2360]. Moreover, we apply our results for finding a common fixed point of two relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space and an element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem in a Banach space, respectively. Our results are applicable to a wide class of mappings.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem, the set of common fixed point for a family of infinitely nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of the variational inequality for αα-inverse-strongly monotone mappings in a Hilbert space. Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems for approximating a common element of the above three sets are obtained. As applications, at the end of the paper we utilize our results to study the optimization problem and some convergence problem for strictly pseudocontractive mappings. The results presented in the paper extend and improve some recent results of Yao and Yao [Y.Y. Yao, J.C. Yao, On modified iterative method for nonexpansive mappings and monotone mappings, Appl. Math. Viscosity approximation methods for a family of finite nonexpansive mappings are established in Banach spaces. The main theorems extend the main results of Moudafi [Viscosity approximation methods for fixed-points problems, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 241 (2000) 46–55] and Xu [Viscosity approximation methods for nonexpansive mappings, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 298 (2004) 279–291] to the case of finite mappings. Our results also improve and unify the corresponding results of Bauschke [The approximation of fixed points of compositions of nonexpansive mappings in Hilbert space, J. Math. Anal. A new iteration process is introduced and proved to converge strongly to a common fixed point for a finite family of generalized Lipschitz nonlinear mappings in a real reflexive Banach space EE with a uniformly Gâteaux differentiable norm if at least one member of the family is pseudo-contractive. It is also proved that a slight modification of the process converges to a common zero for a finite family of generalized Lipschitz accretive operators defined on EE. Results for nonexpansive families are obtained as easy corollaries. Finally, the new iteration process and the method of proof are of independent interest.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to prove by using a new hybrid method a strong convergence theorem for finding a common element of the set of solutions for a generalized equilibrium problem, the set of solutions for a variational inequality problem and the set of common fixed points for a pair of relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space. As applications, we utilize our results to obtain some new results for finding a solution of an equilibrium problem, a fixed point problem and a common zero-point problem for maximal monotone mappings in Banach spaces.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce hybrid pseudo-viscosity approximation schemes with strongly positive bounded linear operators for finding a common element of the set of solutions to a system of equilibrium problems, the set of fixed points of an infinite family and left amenable semigroup of non-expansive mappings in the frame work of Hilbert spaces. Our goal is to prove a result of strong convergence for hybrid pseudo-viscosity approximation schemes to approach a solution of systems of equilibrium problems which is also a common fixed point of an infinite family and left amenable semigroup of non-expansive mappings. The results presented in this paper can be treated as an extension and improvement of the corresponding results announced by Ceng et al. [L.C. Ceng, Q.H. Ansari, and J.C. Yao, Hybrid pseudo-viscosity approximation schemes for equilibrium problems and fixed point problems of infinitely many non-expansive mappings, Nonlinear Analysis 4 (2010) 743-754] and many others.  相似文献

In this paper, we continue to study weak convergence problems for the implicit iteration process for a finite family of Lipschitzian continuous pseudocontractions in general Banach spaces. In this paper, we introduce an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of a generalized equilibrium problem in a real Hilbert space. Then, strong convergence of the scheme to a common element of the two sets is proved. As an application, problem of finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping and the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem is solved. Moreover, solution is given to the problem of finding a common element of fixed points set of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of a variational inequality problem.  相似文献

Let C be a nonempty, closed and convex subset of a real Hilbert space H. Let Ti:CC,i=1,2,…,N, be a finite family of Lipschitz pseudocontractive mappings. It is our purpose, in this paper, to prove strong convergence of Ishikawa’s method to a common fixed point of a finite family of Lipschitz pseudocontractive mappings provided that the interior of the common fixed points is nonempty. No compactness assumption is imposed either on T or on C. Moreover, computation of the closed convex set Cn for each n≥1 is not required. The results obtained in this paper improve on most of the results that have been proved for this class of nonlinear mappings.  相似文献

The purpose in this paper is to prove a theorem of strong convergence to a common solution for a finite family of accretive operators in a strictly convex Banach space by means of a new iterative algorithm, which is a generalization and extension of the results of Kim and Xu [T.H. Kim, H.K. Xu, Strong convergence of modified Mann iterations, Nonlinear Anal. 61 (2005) 51–60], and Zegeye and Shahzad [H. Zegeye, N. Shahzad, Strong convergence theorems for a common zero of a finite family of m-accretive mappings, Nonlinear Anal. 66 (2007) 1161–1169]. Further using the result, the theorem of strong convergence to a common fixed point is discussed for a finite family of pseudocontractive mappings under certain conditions.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with a new composite iteration approximating to common fixed points for a finite family of nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces which have a uniformly Gâteaux differentiable norm. Utilizing the iterative algorithm, we obtain the strong convergence theorems for a finite family of nonexpansive mappings. Furthermore, the problem of image recovery is considered in the above result. Our results extend and improve the corresponding results.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a general iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of common solutions of generalized equilibrium problems, the set of common fixed points of a family of infinite non-expansive mappings. Strong convergence theorems are established in a real Hilbert space under suitable conditions. As some applications, we consider convex feasibility problems and equilibrium problems. The results presented improve and extend the corresponding results of many others.  相似文献

We study the approximation of common fixed points of a finite family of nonexpansive mappings and suggest a modification of the iterative algorithm without the assumption of any type of commutativity. Also we show that the convergence of the proposed algorithm can be proved under some types of control conditions.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce a new general iterative method for finding a common element of the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem (MEP), the set of fixed points of an infinite family of nonexpansive mappings and the set of solutions of variational inequalities for a ξ-inverse-strongly monotone mapping in Hilbert spaces. Furthermore, we establish the strong convergence theorem for the iterative sequence generated by the proposed iterative algorithm under some suitable conditions, which solves some optimization problems. Our results extend and improve the recent results of Yao et al. [Y. Yao, M.A. Noor, S. Zainab, Y.C. Liou, Mixed equilibrium problems and optimization problems, J. Math. Anal. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the problem of finding a common element of the set of solutions of a mixed equilibrium problem (MEP) and the set of common fixed points of finitely many nonexpansive mappings in a real Hilbert space. First, by using the well-known KKM technique we derive the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the auxiliary problems for the MEP. Second, by virtue of this result we introduce a hybrid iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions of MEP and the set of common fixed points of finitely many nonexpansive mappings. Furthermore, we prove that the sequences generated by the hybrid iterative scheme converge strongly to a common element of the set of solutions of MEP and the set of common fixed points of finitely many nonexpansive mappings.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove strong convergence theorems by the hybrid method for a family of hemi-relatively nonexpansive mappings in a Banach space. Our results improve and extend the corresponding results given by Qin et al. [Xiaolong Qin, Yeol Je Cho, Shin Min Kang, Haiyun Zhou, Convergence of a modified Halpern-type iteration algorithm for quasi-?-nonexpansive mappings, Appl. Math. Lett. 22 (2009) 1051-1055], and at the same time, our iteration algorithm is different from the Kimura and Takahashi algorithm, which is a modified Mann-type iteration algorithm [Yasunori Kimura, Wataru Takahashi, On a hybrid method for a family of relatively nonexpansive mappings in Banach space, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 357 (2009) 356-363]. In addition, we succeed in applying our algorithm to systems of equilibrium problems which contain a family of equilibrium problems.  相似文献
