A novel phenomenon that the localized coherent structures of a (2 1)-dimensional physical model possess fractal behaviors is revealed. To clarify the interesting phenomenon, we take the (2 1)-dimensional Boiti Leon-Pempinelli system as a concrete example. Starting from an extended homogeneous balance approach, a general solution of the system is derived. From which some special localized excitations with fractal behaviors are obtained by introducin gsome types of lower-dimensional fractal patterns.  相似文献

In this work, we reveal a novel phenomenon that the localized coherent structures of some (2 1)-dimensional physical models possess chaotic and fractal behaviors. Starting from a variable separation approach,a general variable separation solution of this system is derived. Considering that there are abundant coherent solitent soliton excitations in high dimensions,we reveal a novel phenomenon that the localized excitations possess chaotic and fractal behaviour in some(2 1)-dimensional soliton systems.To clarify the interesting phenomenon,we take the generalized(2 1)-dimensional Nizhnik-Novikov-Vesselov system as a concrete example,A quite general variable separation solutions of this system is derived via a variable separation approach first.then some new excitations like chaos and fractals are derived by introducing some types of lower-dimensional chaotic and fractal patterns.  相似文献

Using the standard truncated Painleve expansions,we derive a quite general solution of the (2 1)-dimensional generalized Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur system.Except for the usual localized solutions,such as dromions,lumps,ring soliton solutions,etc,some special localized excitations with fractal behaviour i.e.the fractal dromion and fractal lump excitations,are obtained by some types of lower-dimensional fractal patterns.  相似文献

Considering that some types of fractal solutions may appear in many (2 1)-dimensional soliton equations because some arbitrary functions can be included in the exact solutions,we use some special types of lower dimensional fractal functions to construct higher dimensional fractal solutions of the Nizhnik-Novikov-Veselov equation.The static eagle-shape fractal solutions,fractal dromion solutions and the fractal lump solutions are given in detail.  相似文献

We investigate the dynamical behavior of a coupled dispersionless system describing a current-conducting string with infinite length within a magnetic field. Thus, following a dynamical system approach, we unwrap typical miscellaneous traveling waves including localized and periodic ones. Studying the relative stabilities of such structures through their energy densities, we find that under some boundary conditions, localized waves moving in positive directions are more stable than periodic waves which in contrast stand for the most stable traveling waves in another boundary condition situation.  相似文献

We investigate the dynamical behaviour of a coupled dispersionless system (CDS) by solving its initial-value problem following a dynamical system approach. As a result, we unearth a typical miscellaneous travelling waves including the localized and periodic ones. We also investigate the energy density of such waves and find that under some boundary conditions, the localized waves moving towards positive direction are more stable than the periodic waves which on contrary stand for the most conditions. stable travelling waves in another situation of boundary conditions.  相似文献

Under a nonresonant condition, we theoretically investigate hybrid absorptive-dispersive optical bistability and multistability behaviours in a three-level Δ-type system by using a microwave field to drive a hyperfine transition between two upper excited states inside a unidirectional ring cavity. We find that the optical bistability and multistability behaviours can be controlled by adjusting the intensity of the microwave field or the intensity of the coherent coupling field. Furthermore, our studies show an interesting phenomenon of the transition from the optical bistability to the optical multistability only by changing the negative detuning of the coupling field into the positive detuning of the coupling field.  相似文献

Using the theory of nonlinear interactions between long and short waves,a nonlinear fractal sea surface model is presented for a one dimensional deep sea.Numerical simulation results show that spectra intensity changes at different locations(in both the wave number domain and temporal-frequency domain),and the system obeys the energy conservation principle.Finally,a method to limit the fractal parameters is also presented to ensure that the model system does not become ill-posed.  相似文献

The nonequilibrium phase transition and the symmetry revival induced by time delay in a bistable system are investigated. The stationary probability distribution function (SPDF) of the bistable system with time delay and correlated noises are calculated by an analytical method and stochastic simulation respectively. The analytical and simulative results indicate that: (1) There is a certain value of λ (λ denotes the strength of correlations between the multiplicative and additive noises) to make the SPDF symmetric under some time delay; however, above or below the given value, the symmetry will be broken; (2) With the monotonic change of λ , the unimodal peak structure of SPDF becomes bimodal at the beginning, then it becomes unimodal again; this means that there is a reentrance phenomenon in the process; (3) There is a critical value of delay time, which makes the lower peak of SPDF equal to the higher one under the critical condition. This means that the symmetry revival phenomenon emerges.  相似文献

The projection of the chaotic attractor observed from the Lorenz system in the $X$--$Z$ plane is like a butterfly, hence the classical Lorenz system is widely known as the butterfly attractor, and has served as a prototype model for studying chaotic behaviour since it was coined.In this work we take one step further to investigate some fundamental dynamic behaviours of a novel hybrid Takagi--Sugeno (TS) fuzzy Lorenz-type system, which is essentially derived from the delta-operator-based TS fuzzy modelling for complex nonlinear systems, and contains the original Lorenz system of continuous-time TS fuzzy form as a special case. By simply and appropriately tuning the additional parametric perturbations in the two-rule hybrid TS fuzzy Lorenz-type system, complex (two-wing) butterfly attractors observed from this system in the three dimensional (3D) $X$--$Y$--$Z$ space are created, which have not yet been reported in the literature, and the forming mechanism of the compound structures have been numerically investigated.  相似文献

By using the generalized cell mapping digraph (GCMD)method,we study bifurcations governing the escape of periodically forced oscillators in a potential well,in which a chaotic saddle plays an extremely important role.Int this paper,we find the chaotic saddle,and we demonstrate that the chaotic saddle is embedded in a strange fractal boundary which has the Wada property,that any point on the boundary of that basin is also simultaneously on the boundary of at least two other basins.The chaotic saddle in the Wada fractal boundary,by colliding with a chaotic attractor,leads to a chaotic boundary crisis with a global indeterminate outcome which presents an extreme form of indeterminacy in a dynamical system.We also investigate the origin and evolution of the chaotic saddle in the Wada fractal boundary particularly concentrating on its discontinuous bifurcations(metamorphoses),We demonstrate that the chaotic saddle in the Wada fractal boundary is created by the collision between two chaotic saddles in different fractal boundaries.After a final escape bifurcation,there only exists the attractor at infinity;a chaotic saddle with a beautiful pattern is left behind in phase space.  相似文献

Using a special Painleve-Baecklund transformation as well as the extended mapping approach and the linear superposition theorem, we obtain new families of variable separation solutions to the (2+1)-dimensional generalized Broer-Kaup (GBK) system. The present work investigates the effect of europium substitution on the(Bi,Pb)-2212 system in the concentration range 0.5 ≤ x ≤ 1.0.Phase analysis and lattice parameter calculations on the powder diffraction data and the elemental analysis of EDX show that the Eu atoms are successfully substituted into the(Bi,Pb)-2212 system.Resistivity measurements(64-300 K) reveal that the system exhibits superconductivity at x ≤ 0.5 and semiconductivity at x > 0.5.With the complete suppression of superconductivity which is known to be a quasi-two dimensional phenomenon in these materials,a metal to insulator transition takes place at x = 0.6 and the predominant conduction mechanism is found to be variable range hopping between localized states,resulting in macroscopic semiconducting behaviour.The results of electrical and structural properties of the doped(Bi,Pb)-2212 compounds suggest that the decrease of charge carrier concentration and the induced structural disorder are the more effective and dominant mechanisms in the origin of the metal to insulator transition and suppression of superconductivity due to Eu substitution at its Sr site.  相似文献
