A depth-enhanced integral imaging system is proposed by using a convex micro-lens array and a composite concave micro-lens array. The convex-micro-lens array is used to provide a virtual elemental image array for the composite concave micro-lens array. The composite concave micro-lens array which has two focal lengths is used to display integral images with the virtual elemental image array. Compared with the conventional integral imaging, the proposed system can form the 3D image around two image planes with viewing angle being enhanced remarkably. The principle of the enhancement of the image depth is explained in detail and the experimental results are presented.  相似文献

提出了两种消除电寻址空间光调制器由于低开口率所引起的"黑栅"效应的方法:利用衍射微透镜阵列的方法和利用纯相位型光束整形器件阵列的方法.分析了这两种方法的基本原理,给出了微透镜阵列和光束整形器件阵列的设计思想,并比较了这两种方法的异同点.采用杨一顾相位恢复算法得到了光束整形结果.理论分析及仿真计算表明:这种方法均能有效地消除电寻址空间光调制器相邻象素之间的黑带.  相似文献

A three-dimensional (3D) polarimetric image sensing and display technique based on integral imaging is proposed. Three-dimensional polarization distribution of reflected light from a 3D object can be measured as elemental image arrays by a rotating linear polarizer. After the measurement of the polarization of the 3D object, the 3D polarimetric object can be reconstructed optically by displaying the polarization-selected elemental images in spatial light modulators with two quarter-wave plates. Experimental demonstration of 3D polarimetric imaging of a 3D object attached to two orthogonal linear polarizers is presented. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on 3D polarimetric sensing imaging and 3D optical reconstruction by integral imaging.  相似文献

In this Letter, we propose a novel three-dimensional(3D) color microscopy for microorganisms under photonstarved conditions using photon counting integral imaging and Bayesian estimation with adaptive priori information. In photon counting integral imaging, 3D images can be visualized using maximum likelihood estimation(MLE). However, since MLE does not consider a priori information of objects, the visual quality of 3D images may not be accurate. In addition, the only grayscale image can be reconstructed. Therefore, to enhance the visual quality of 3D images, we propose photon counting microscopy using maximum a posteriori with adaptive priori information. In addition, we consider a wavelength of each basic color channel to reconstruct 3D color images. To verify our proposed method, we carry out optical experiments.  相似文献

We developed a technique of three-dimensional (3-D) display for distant viewing of a 3-D image without the need for special glasses. The photobased integral photography (IP) method allows precise 3-D images to be displayed at long viewing distances without any influence from deviated or distorted lenses in a lens array. We calculate elemental images from a referential viewing area for each lens and project the corresponding result images to photographic film through each lens. We succeed in creating an image display that appears to have three dimensionality even when viewed from a distance, with an image depth of 5.7 m or more in front of the display and 3.5 m or more behind the display. To the best of our knowledge, the long-distance IP display presented here is technically unique because it is the first report of generation of an image with such a long viewing distance.  相似文献

提出了一种伪色彩太赫兹成像技术. 通过引入频域色彩区间积分, 建立了一套基于太赫兹时域光谱技术的伪色彩太赫兹成像系统, 实验分别研究了乳糖和对氨基苯甲酸两种不同白色化学粉末的伪色彩成像和灰度成像, 研究了不同颜色区间定义对伪色彩图像的影响, 讨论了利用不同频率信息成像系统所能达到的空间分辨率. 研究结果表明, 伪色彩成像技术可以将不同的物质信息同时成像在一张太赫兹图像中, 通过不同物质在太赫兹图像中呈现出的颜色差别来区分不同的物质及其分布. 克服了传统的太赫兹灰度成像技术中, 需要多张图像来区分不同的物质的问题, 提高了成像速度, 降低了筛选难度. 利用高频信息进行伪色彩成像, 可以将系统成像的空间分辨率提高到0.4 mm. 伪色彩成像方式可以更直观快捷地显示样品的基本属性, 对于实现太赫兹安检的初检和快速筛选具有重大的现实意义.  相似文献

金属薄膜上制备的表面等离激元颜色滤波器具有很强的颜色可调性. 在200 nm厚的金膜上, 通过聚焦离子束刻蚀, 制备一系列周期逐渐变化的圆形、方形、矩形亚波长尺寸小孔方阵列表面等离激元颜色滤波器, 改变入射光的偏振方向, 观察其超透射滤波现象. 研究发现: 对于矩形小孔阵列, 其透射光颜色随入射光偏振方向的变化而改变; 而对于圆形、方形的小孔阵列, 其透射光颜色对入射光的偏振方向并不敏感. 分析表明, 对于金膜上刻蚀的小孔结构, 虽然结构的周期性导致的表面等离激元极化子会对透射光的颜色变化产生一定影响, 但是随小孔形状变化的局域表面等离激元共振才是影响透射光颜色的决定性因素. 如果入射光没有在小孔中激发出局域表面等离激元, 则表面等离激元极化子对透射光的影响也会消失. 根据不同形状小孔周期结构透射光颜色随入射光的偏振变化特点, 制备出了包含两种小孔形状的复合周期结构. 随着入射光偏振方向的改变, 该结构会显示出不同的颜色图案. 关键词: 表面等离激元极化子 局域表面等离激元 颜色滤波器 亚波长小孔阵列  相似文献

A nano-surfacing process (NSP) is proposed to directly fabricate three-dimensional (3D) concavo–convex-shaped microstructures such as micro-lens arrays using two-photon polymerization (TPP), a promising technique for fabricating arbitrary 3D highly functional micro-devices. In TPP, commonly utilized methods for fabricating complex 3D microstructures to date are based on a layer-by-layer accumulating technique employing two-dimensional sliced data derived from 3D computer-aided design data. As such, this approach requires much time and effort for precise fabrication. In this work, a novel single-layer exposure method is proposed in order to improve the fabricating efficiency for 3D concavo–convex-shaped microstructures. In the NSP, 3D microstructures are divided into 13 sub-regions horizontally with consideration of the heights. Those sub-regions are then expressed as 13 characteristic colors, after which a multi-voxel matrix (MVM) is composed with the characteristic colors. Voxels with various heights and diameters are generated to construct 3D structures using a MVM scanning method. Some 3D concavo–convex-shaped microstructures were fabricated to estimate the usefulness of the NSP, and the results show that it readily enables the fabrication of single-layered 3D microstructures. We present a method for controlling the depth of three-dimensional (3D) images reconstructed by integral photography. Incoherent light is reflected from 3D objects, propagates through a lens array, and is captured as the first elemental images by a capturing device. The second elemental images of the 3D images are generated by numerical processing from the first elemental images in accordance with the desired depth. The optical reconstruction of 3D images at the desired depth by the second elemental images is confirmed experimentally.  相似文献

Subwavelength structures can provide a versatile platform for displaying various colors. Here, a reflection‐type approach to structural colors enabled by an extrinsic polarization‐dependent plasmonic resonance using aluminum nanohole arrays is presented theoretically. Usually, nanohole arrays with small hole sizes support whitish structural colors due to the narrow‐band reflection dip and high‐reflection nonresonant background. Interestingly, the lineshape of the resonance can be converted from a reflection dip with a high background to a reflection peak with negligible background using a pair of linear polarizers to select the polarization states of the incident light and the detected signal. Therefore, the resultant colors can be switched between whitish colors and vibrant colors, which are covert and overt under a white lighting condition, respectively. Due to the huge contrast between the two types of colors, this approach provides a novel scheme for the development of security‐related color labels.  相似文献

In this paper, a novel resolution-enhanced three-dimensional (3D) image correlator using the computationally reconstructed integral images is proposed in order to extract target object’s 3D location data in a scene. Elemental images of the reference and target objects are picked up by lenslet arrays and using these elemental images, reference and target plane images are reconstructed on the output plane by means of a modified computational integral imaging reconstruction technique. Then, through cross-correlations between the reconstructed reference and the target plane images, 3D location data of the target object can be extracted from the correlation outputs. With the purpose of showing the feasibility of the proposed method, some computational and optical experiments on the target objects in space are carried out and the results are presented.  相似文献

A method of spectral reflectance estimation for electronic endoscopes is described. A new approach is proposed for the overfitting problem. We use a small training set. Initially, cross-validation is used to select model parameters. Then, for additional validation of the method a color image acquired under the same illumination as the training data is used. This additional color image gives a clear solution for both the estimation of spectra and the estimation of color reproduced from these spectra. Experiments confirm that the method predicts spectral reflectance and colors well. Accurate reproduction of endoscope images in different viewing conditions and under another light source was implemented using this approach.  相似文献

A method to reproduce colored images with a guided-mode resonance filter (GMRF) array is presented in this Letter. Because of their excellent characteristics, monochromatic light of the three primary colors with high purity can be achieved by using GMRF structures. Moreover, the primary colors are obtained without changing other GMRF parameters except the period, which could be realized easily with laser direct writing technology. The result shows that a colored image with high resolution and verisimilitude can be reproduced.  相似文献

In a color-to-gray conversion, which only considers lightness components, difference of colors are not appropriately reflected in monochrome images. Gooch et al. have proposed a color removal method that considers the differences of colors. Although the method can obtain good results in many cases, there is room for improvement. In this paper, a new color removal method that introduces a weight to Gooch’s algorithm is proposed. In the proposed method, for combinations of colors of each pixel in an input image, weights are determined by distance in color space. In the proposed method, unimportant color combinations are not considered by weight and color information in an input image is appropriately reflected in a monochrome image. The validity of the proposed method is shown by experiments using some images.  相似文献

Image fusion refers to the techniques that integrate complementary information from multiple image sensors’ data in a way that makes the new images more suitable for human visual perception. The paper focuses on the low color contrast problem of linear fusion algorithms with color transfer method. Firstly, the contrast of infrared and visible images is enhanced using local histogram equalization and median filter. Then the two enhanced images are fused into the three components of a Lab image in terms of a simple linear fusion strategy. To enhance the color contrast between the target and the background, the scaling factor is introduced into the transferring equation in the b channel. Experimental results based on three different data sets show that the hot and cold targets are all popped out with intense colors while the background details present natural color appearance. Target detection experiments through target recognition area, detection rate, target-background discrimination also show that the presented method has a better performance than the former methods.  相似文献

We propose a novel method for polychromatic pattern recognition based on color component 3D Arnold transform. Three color components (for example RGB) are first transformed into three chaotic images by the use of 3D Arnold transform. And then any one of the chaotic images is chosen as the input image of the JTC to be recognized. As a result, strong color discrimination capability is achieved and common color images as well as some special color images can be recognized, while still preserving compact system and easier analysis of the output. Numerical results demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献
