A new bicyclogermacrane sesquiterpenoid, two new cembrane diterpenoids and five new dolabellane diterpenoids, along with known terpenoids, have been isolated from the Malaysian liverwort Chandonanthus hirtellus. The structures of the new compounds were established by spectroscopic and chemical methods in addition to X-ray crystallographic studies.  相似文献

Rhododendron molle G. Don is one of the most potent traditional Chinese medicines for pain relief. Prior investigations have shown that Rhododendrons are rich sources of terpenoids. In our continuing efforts to identify structurally unique and biologically interesting diterpenoids, the fruits of R. molle were collected from Guangxi Province. A chemical study was carried out on the EtOH extract, which led to the isolation of 18 diterpenoids including 12 new compounds. The isolation and structural elucidation of new compounds 112, as well as the evaluation of the antinociceptive activities of these compounds were reported.  相似文献

In the course of research into marine natural products, the diterpenoids taondiol 10 and atomaric acid 15, were isolated from the brown seaweed Taonia atomaria. The similarities of these structures plus the fact that both compounds come from the same alga suggest that there may be a biogenetic relationship between the two. This speculated relationship is adumbrated in Scheme 1, where the cyclic and acyclic diterpenoids of mixed biogenesis isolated from Phaeophyta are interrelated. In the present work, the competitive cyclisation of the proposed olefinic intermediate 4 to the naturally occurring compounds taondiol 10, isotandiol 11, epitaondiol 12 and stypodiol 13, is reported. The stereoselective transformation of atomaric acid 15 into the compound 4 is also reported, which transformation occurs by intramolecular carbocylisation of the olefinic aldehyde 7 followed by backbone rearrangement to the olefin 4. This result prompted the proposal that atomaric acid 15 may arise in nature by means of a like rearrangement but operating in a reverse direction.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigation of Trigonostemon reidioides roots led to the isolation of fourteen compounds. These included six new diterpenoids, trigonoreidons A?F (1?6), together with eight known diterpenoids 7?14. The structures of the new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic techniques and the absolute configuration at the asymmetric carbon was determined by the modified Mosher's method. The structure of trigonoreidon B (2) was confirmed by X-ray crystallographic analysis. The known compounds were identified by comparison of the spectroscopic and physical data with those of reported values. The isolated compounds were evaluated for antimycobacterial activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Among the compounds that exhibited antimycobacterial activity, the diterpenoids rediocide C (12) and rediocide G (14) were the most active compounds, with the MIC value of 3.84 μM.  相似文献

Two new abietane diterpenoids (1,2), along with five known diterpenoids (3–7), were first isolated and purified from the stems of Clerodendrum bracteatum. The structures of the new compounds were established by extensive analysis of mass spectrometric and 1-D, 2-D NMR spectroscopic data. Their antioxidant activities were determined on DPPH radical scavenging and ABTS. The in vitro cytotoxic activities of the compounds were evaluated against the HL-60 and A549 cell lines by the MTT method.  相似文献

Three new diterpenoids, namely 7α-hydroxyabieta-8,11,13,15-tetraen-18-oic acid, 7β,15,18-trihydroxyabieta-8,11,13-triene, 13,15-dihydroxypodocarpa-8,11,13-triene, and 12 other known compounds were isolated from buds of Pinus banksiana Lamb. All these compounds, except for 7-oxodehydroabietinol, were isolated for the first time from this plant. Their structures were elucidated by detailed spectroscopic studies and comparison with published data. All isolated compounds were tested for cytotoxic and antibacterial activities. Overall, two compounds, 7-oxodehydroabietinol and 18-nor-4,15-dihydroxyabieta-8,11,13-trien-7-one, showed moderate cytotoxicity against a human lung carcinoma cell line.  相似文献

Castanolide (1) and epi-castanolide (2), two novel diterpenoids possessing a unique seco-norabietane skeleton, were isolated from Salviacastanea Diels f. pubescens Stib. Their structures and relative stereochemistry were elucidated by extensive NMR analysis and confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. Three new polyoxygenated diterpenoids with a rare 4-isopropyl-1,5,8a-trimethylperhydrophenanthrane structure of the klysimplexane skeleton, briarols A‒C (1‒3), and one eunicellin-based diterpenoid, briarol D (4), were isolated from Briareum violaceum, a gorgonian inhabiting Taiwanese waters. The chemical structures of these compounds were determined by employing extensive analyses of NMR and high-resolution electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (HRESIMS) data. Metabolites 1‒3 were found to possess the rarely found skeleton of the diterpenoid klysimplexin T. All isolated compounds showed very weak cytotoxic activity against the growth of three cancer cell lines. A plausible biosynthetic pathway for briarols A‒C from the coexisting eunicellin diterpenoid briarol D (4) was postulated.  相似文献

Chemical analysis of the secondary metabolite pattern of the nudibranch Hexabranchus sanguineus collected from the South China Sea revealed the presence of both sesquiterpenoids and diterpenoids, exhibiting very different structural features. Two new molecules, compounds 1 and 4, were isolated together with known compounds 2 and 3, and chemically characterized. This is the first report of terpenoids from H. sanguineus. The remarkable diversity of metabolites possessed by H. sanguineus supports some recent phylogenetic studies that place the mollusc near the steam of the dorid nudibranch tree.  相似文献

Chemical examination of a Chinese soft coral Sinularia rigida resulted in the isolation and characterization of 19 new cembrane-type diterpenoids, designated as sinulariols A-S (1-19). Their structures were determined on the basis of extensive spectroscopic (2D NMR, IR, and MS) analysis in association with modified Mosher’s method. All compounds featured unusual 19-oxygenated functionalities, which are rarely found from cembranoid family. The biogenetic transformation of the isolated compounds is postulated. Part of the isolated cembranoids showed significant anti-fouling activity.  相似文献

Three new diterpenoids, vulgarisins B–D (13), have been isolated from a medicinal plant Prunella vulgaris Linn. These diterpenoids contain a rare 5/6/4/5 fused tetracyclic ring skeleton. Their structures were determined through the analysis of spectroscopic data, and the absolute configuration were further confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction as well as CD analysis. All the compounds were evaluated for their cytotoxicity activity, vulgarisins B (1) and C (2) demonstrated modest cytotoxicity activity against human lung carcinoma A549 cell line.  相似文献

Four new norcembrene diterpenoids, 2–5, have been isolated from several species of the soft-coral Sinularia collected in Palau, Western Caroline Islands. These new compounds are closely related to a unique norcembrenolide, 1, previously reported from the Australian soft-coral Sinularialeotoclados. The structure assignments of these new compounds were provided by interpretation of spectral data, and the structures of norcembrenes 2 and 3 were confirmed by single crystal X-ray analysis.  相似文献

Three new pimarane-type diterpenoids, along with two known compounds, were isolated from an endophytic fungus Phomopsis sp. S12. Their structures were determined by comprehensive analyses of HRESIMS, NMR, CD, as well as single-crystal X-ray diffractions. Compound 3 exhibited anti-inflammatory activity against the production of IL-1β and IL-6 induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) in macrophages. Ten new antifouling briarane diterpenoids, juncins R-ZI (1-10) were isolated from the South China Sea gorgonian coral Junceella juncea. The structures of these new compounds were established by extensive spectroscopic analysis, including 1D and 2D NMR data. Compounds 1-10 all showed potent antifouling activities against the larval settlement of barnacle Balanus amphitrite at nontoxic concentrations with EC50 values of 0.004, 0.34, 2.65, 1.61, 3.77, 21.06, 0.004, 0.14, 1.47, and 0.51 μg mL−1. Luohuazizhu suppository is a Traditional Chinese Medicine used in clinic to treat cervicitis, which is prepared from Callicarpa nudiflora Hook. et Arn (C. nudiflora), an herbal Chinese medicine named Luohuazizhu. This study aimed to figure out the active constituents of C. nudiflora and the potential mechanism for its anti-cervicitis effect. The ethanol extract in C. nudiflora (CNE) and the different fractions of CNE extracted by petroleum ether (CNE-p), dichloromethane (CNE-d), and n-butanol (CNE-b) were tested in vivo for their anti-cervicitis effects. Then the isolated compounds from the CNE-p were tested in vitro for their anti-inflammatory activities. The results displayed that CNE-p, CNE-d, and CNE-b exhibited adequate anti-cervicitis effects, with CNE-p showing the highest efficacy. Further experiment demonstrated that CNE-p could significantly inhibit the expression of NLRP3 in vitro. Six diterpenoids obtained from the CNE-p showed the ability to regulate inflammatory factor levels in vitro. Among these compounds, compounds 1 (callicarpic acid A) and 2 (syn-3,4-seco-12S-hydroxy-15,16-epoxy-4(18),8(17),3(16),14(15)-labdatetraen-3-oic acid) were the most effective agents, and they also inhibited the expression level of NLRP3 in vitro. The results confirmed that C. nudiflora has significant anti-cervicitis effects and the diterpenoids were most likely to be its active components. These data provide scientific support for the clinic usage of Luohuazizhu suppository and the development of new agents in treating cervicitis.  相似文献

Two novel labdane type diterpenoids, 8β(17)-epoxy-14,15,16-trihydroxylabd-12(E)-ene (aulacocarpin C) and 15,16-epoxy-14ξ,16ξ-dimethoxylabda-8(17),12-(E)-diene (aulacocarpin D) together with the known aulacocarpin A and B; 14,15-epoxy-8(17),12(E)-labdadien-16-al, coronarin E, and 15,16-epoxy-12β-hydroxy-labda-8(17)-13(16),14-triene were isolated from the seeds of Aframomum aulacocarpos. To the best of our knowledge, the last compound was isolated from a natural source for the first time. Acid hydrolysis of aulacocarpin D led to another new labdane type diterpenoid, 15,16-epoxy-12β-methoxylabda-8(17)-13(16),14-triene. The structures of all compounds were established on the basis of their spectroscopic data. These new compounds exhibit moderate trypanocidal activity.  相似文献
