The modified simple equation method is employed to find the exact solutions of the nonlinear Kolmogorov-Petrovskii-Piskunov (KPP) equation. When certain parameters of the equations are chosen to be special values, the solitary wave solutions are derived from the exact solutions. It is shown that the modified simple equation method provides an effective and powerful mathematical tool for solving nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

An approach is introduced to construct global discontinuous solutions in L∞ for Hamilton-Jacobi equations. This approach allows the initial data only in L∞ and applies to the equations with nonconvex Hamiltonians. The profit functions are introduced to formulate the notion of discontinuous solutions in L∞. The existence of global discontinuous solutions in L∞ is established. These solutions in L∞ coincide with the viscosity solutions and the minimax solutions, provided that the initial data are continuous. A prototypical equation is analyzed toexamine the L∞ stability of our L∞ solutions. The analysis also shows that global discontinuous solutions are determined by the topology in which the initial data are approximated.  相似文献

该文主要研究形如Δ((Δ\+nu)\+\{p-1*\}) = f(|x|, u, |u|)u\+\{-β\},\ x∈R\+2的奇异非线性多调和方程在R\+2上的正整体解,此处p>1,β≥0是常数,n是自然数,f: [AKR-]\-+×R\-+×[AKR-]\-+→R\-+是 一个连续函数,ξ\+\{α*\}:=|ξ|\+\{α-1\}ξ,ξ∈R,α>0 . 证明了这种解 u必无界且其渐进阶(当n→∞时u作为无穷大量的阶)不低于|x|\+\{2n\}log|x| ,给 出了该方程具有无穷多个其渐进阶刚好为 |x|\+\{2n\}log|x| 的正整体解的充分与充分必要条件. 这些结论可以推广到更一般的方程中去.   相似文献

This paper investigate the Raman soliton model in nanoscale optical waveguides, with metamaterials, having parabolic law non-linearity by using the method of dynamical systems. The functions $q(x,t)=\phi(\xi)\exp(i(-kx+\omega t))$ are solutions of the equation (1.1) that governs the propagation of Raman solitons through optical metamaterials, where $\xi=x-vt$ and $\phi(\xi)$ in the solutions satisfy a singular planar dynamical system (1.5) which has two singular straight lines. By using the bifurcation theory method of dynamical systems to the equation of $\phi(\xi)$, bifurcations of phase portraits for this dynamical system are obtained under 28 different parameter conditions. Based on those phase portraits, 62 exact solutions of system (1.5) including periodic solutions, heteroclinic and homoclinic solutions, periodic peakons and peakons as well as compacton solutions are derived.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the complex Swift-Hohenberg(CSH) equation $\frac{\partial u}{\partial t}=\lambda u-(\alpha+\mathrm{i}\beta)\l(1+\frac{\partial^2}{\partial x^2}\r)^2u-(\sigma+\mathrm{i}\rho)|u|^2u $ subject to periodic boundary conditions. Using an infinite dimensional KAM theorem, we prove that there exist a continuous branch of periodic solutions and a Cantorian branch of quasi-periodic solutions for the above equation.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the Liouville-type theorem for stable solutions of the following Kirchhoff equation ■,where M(t) = a + bt~θ, a 0, b, θ≥ 0, θ = 0 if and only if b = 0. A new second-order nonlinear neutral delay differential equation r(t) x(t) + P(t)x(t-τ) + cr(t) x(t)-x(t-τ) + F t,x(t-σ1),x(t-σ2),...,x(t-σn) = G(t),t ≥ t0,where τ 0,σ1,σ2,...,σn ≥ 0,P,r ∈ C([t0,+∞),R),F ∈ C([t0,+∞)×Rn,R),G ∈ C([t0,+∞),R) and c is a constant,is studied in this paper,and some sufficient conditions for existence of nonoscillatory solutions for this equation are established and expatiated through five theorems according to the range of value of function P(t).Two examples are presented to illustrate that our works are proper generalizations of the other corresponding results.Furthermore,our results omit the restriction of Q1(t) dominating Q2(t)(See condition C in the text).  相似文献
