In this paper, by considering the experts' vague or fuzzy understanding of the nature of the parameters in the problem-formulation process, multiobjective 0–1 programming problems involving fuzzy numbers are formulated. Using the a-level sets of fuzzy numbers, the corresponding nonfuzzy α-programming problem is introduced. The fuzzy goals of the decision maker (DM) for the objective functions are quantified by eliciting the corresponding linear membership functions. Through the introduction of an extended Pareto optimality concept, if the DM specifies the degree α and the reference membership values, the corresponding extended Pareto optimal solution can be obtained by solving the augmented minimax problems through genetic algorithms with double strings. Then an interactive fuzzy satisficing method for deriving a satisficing solution for the DM efficiently from an extended Pareto optimal solution set is presented. An illustrative numerical example is provided to demonstrate the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed method.  相似文献

Using the a-level sets of fuzzy numbers, the corresponding nonfuzzy a-multiobjective linear fractional programming problem is introduced. The fuzzy goals of the decision maker for the objective functions are quantified by eliciting the corresponding membership functions including nonlinear ones. Through the introduction of extended Pareto optimality concepts, if the decision maker specifies the degree a and the reference membership values, the corresponding extended Pareto optimal solution can be obtained by solving the minimax problems for which the Dantzig-Wolfe decomposition method and Ritter's partitioning procedure are applicable. Then a linear programming-based interactive fuzzy satisficing method with decomposition procedures for deriving a satisficing solution for the decision maker efficiently from an extended Pareto optimal solution set is presented. An illustrative numerical example is provided to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method.  相似文献

针对一类状态不可测的模糊输入时滞系统,应用平行分布补偿算法(PDC),设计了模糊观测器,提出了基于模糊观测器的输出反馈控制方法,给出了保证模糊时滞系统渐近稳定的新的充分条件.应用广义Lyapunov函数和线性矩阵不等式方法,证明了模糊输入时滞系统的渐近稳定性,同时给出了控制和观测增益矩阵的分离设计算法.仿真结果进一步验证了所提出的方法和条件的有效性.  相似文献

The study is concerned with a design of granular fuzzy models. We exploit a concept of information granularity by developing a model coming as a network of intuitively structured collection of interval information granules described in the output space and a family of induced information granules (in the form of fuzzy sets) formed in the input space. In contrast to most fuzzy models encountered in the literature, the results produced by granular models are information granules rather than plain numeric entities. The design of the model concentrates on a construction of information granules that form a backbone of the overall construct. Interval information granules positioned in the output space are built by considering intervals of equal length, equal probability, and developing an optimized version of the intervals. The induced fuzzy information granules localized in the input space are realized by running a conditional Fuzzy C-Means (FCM). The performance of the model is assessed by considering criteria of coverage and information specificity (information granularity). Further optimization of the model is proposed along the line of an optimal re-distribution of input information granules induced by the individual interval information granules located in the output space. Experimental results involve some synthetic low-dimensional data and publicly available benchmark data sets.  相似文献

In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy output tracking control approach is proposed for a class of single input and single output (SISO) uncertain pure-feedback switched nonlinear systems under arbitrary switchings. Fuzzy logic systems are used to identify the unknown nonlinear system. Under the framework of the backstepping control design and fuzzy adaptive control, a new adaptive fuzzy output tracking control method is developed. It is proved that the proposed control approach can guarantee that all the signals in the closed-loop system are semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded (SGUUB) and the tracking error remains an adjustable neighborhood of the origin. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

A class of optimal adaptive multi-arm clinical trial designs is proposed based on an extended generalized Pólya urn (GPU) model. The design is applicable to both the qualitative and quantitative responses and achieves, asymptotically, some pre-specified optimality criterion. Such criterion is specified by a functional of the response distributions and is implemented through the relationship between the design matrix and its first eigenvector. The asymptotic properties of the design are studied using the existing methods on GPU. Some examples for commonly used clinical designs are given as illustration.  相似文献

为提高梯级水库调度管理的科学水平和水资源利用效率,分析了蓄供水判别式法运用于梯级水库调度所存在的三点不足,以梯级调度期总发电量最大为目标,构建了基于梯级总出力调度图优化和时段内最优出力分配的双层嵌套模型,并给出了基于逐步收索方式和逐步优化算法的模型求解流程。以我国西南某流域梯级水库为实例进行计算,其结果与常规方案相比,不仅年发电量有所提高,保证出力和保证率也有较大程度的提升,验证了所建模型的合理性。  相似文献

This paper considers a robust portfolio selection problem with an uncertainty set of future returns and satisfaction levels in terms of the total return and robustness parameter. Since the proposed model is formulated as an ill-defined problem due to uncertainty and is bi-objective, that is, to maximize both the abovementioned satisfaction levels, it is difficult to solve the model directly without introducing some criterion of optimality for the bi-objective functions. Therefore, by introducing fuzzy goals and an interactive fuzzy satisficing method, the proposed model is transformed into a deterministic equivalent problem. Furthermore, to obtain the exact optimal portfolio analytically, a solution method is developed by introducing the auxiliary problem and performing equivalent transformations. In order to compare the proposed model with previous useful models, numerical examples are provided, and the results show that it is important to maximize the robustness parameter and total return using the interactive process for adjusting investor’s satisfaction levels.  相似文献

In this article, an adaptive fuzzy output tracking control approach is proposed for a class of multiple‐input and multiple‐output uncertain switched nonlinear systems with unknown control directions and under arbitrary switchings. In the control design, fuzzy logic systems are used to identify the unknown switched nonlinear systems. A Nussbaum gain function is introduced into the control design and the unknown control direction problem is solved. Under the framework of the backstepping control design, fuzzy adaptive control and common Lyapunov function stability theory, a new adaptive fuzzy output tracking control method is developed. It is proved that the proposed control approach can guarantee that all the signals in the closed‐loop system are bounded and the tracking error remains an adjustable neighborhood of the origin. The KKT optimality conditions for multiobjective programming problems with fuzzy-valued objective functions are derived in this paper. The solution concepts are proposed by defining an ordering relation on the class of all fuzzy numbers. Owing to this ordering relation being a partial ordering, the solution concepts proposed in this paper will follow from the similar solution concept, called Pareto optimal solution, in the conventional multiobjective programming problems. In order to consider the differentiation of fuzzy-valued function, we invoke the Hausdorff metric to define the distance between two fuzzy numbers and the Hukuhara difference to define the difference of two fuzzy numbers. Under these settings, the KKT optimality conditions are elicited naturally by introducing the Lagrange function multipliers.  相似文献

Evaluation of the degree of membership in fuzzy sets is a fundamental topic in fuzzy set theory. Saaty (Ref. 1) proposes a method for solving this problem that has been widely accepted. In this paper, we examine the problem from an error minimization point of view that attempts to reflect the real intentions of the decision maker. When this approach is used, the findings reveal that fuzzy sets of different cardinalities have dramatically different requirements in the consistency level of the input data as far as the error minimization criterion is concerned.  相似文献

An approach to dealing with missing data, both during the design and normal operation of a neuro-fuzzy classifier is presented in this paper. Missing values are processed within a general fuzzy min–max neural network architecture utilising hyperbox fuzzy sets as input data cluster prototypes. An emphasis is put on ways of quantifying the uncertainty which missing data might have caused. This takes a form of classification procedure whose primary objective is the reduction of a number of viable alternatives rather than attempting to produce one winning class without supporting evidence. If required, the ways of selecting the most probable class among the viable alternatives found during the primary classification step, which are based on utilising the data frequency information, are also proposed. The reliability of the classification and the completeness of information is communicated by producing upper and lower classification membership values similar in essence to plausibility and belief measures to be found in the theory of evidence or possibility and necessity values to be found in the fuzzy sets theory. Similarities and differences between the proposed method and various fuzzy, neuro-fuzzy and probabilistic algorithms are also discussed. A number of simulation results for well-known data sets are provided in order to illustrate the properties and performance of the proposed approach.  相似文献

The problem of optimal control of a linear dynamical system under set-membership uncertainty is studied: it is required to steer the system to the terminal set with a guarantee and to maximize the guaranteed value of the quality criterion. The sets of the initial and current a preposteriori distributions of the states of the dynamical system are introduced; they are used to determine a positional solution of the problem of optimal a preposteriori3 observation with the help of inaccurate measurements of input and output signals of the observation object by two measuring devices. The obtained solution is used for determining a positional solution of the optimal control problem under uncertainty. Depending on the amount of the information used, optimal closable and closed output feedbacks are determined. The method of quasiimplementation of optimal feedbacks by means of optimal estimators and a regulator producing real-time control actions is described. The optimality of a fuzzy logic alternative to the usual treatment of uncertainties in a scheduling system using probability theory is examined formally. Fuzzy scheduling techniques proposed in the literature either fuzzify directly the existing scheduling rules, or solve mathematical programming problems to determine the optimal schedules. In the former method, the fuzzy optimality for the optimal scheduling rules is usually not justified but still assumed. In this paper, the necessary conditions for fuzzy optimality are defined, and fuzzy counterparts of some of the well-known scheduling rules such as shortest processing time (SPT) and earliest due date (EDD) are developed.  相似文献

Fractional factorial designs are popular and widely used for industrial experiments. Generalized minimum aberration is an important criterion recently proposed for both regular and non-regular designs. This paper provides a formal optimization treatment on optimal designs with generalized minimum aberration. New lower bounds and optimality results are developed for resolution-III designs. Based on these results, an effective computer search algorithm is provided for sub-design selection, and new optimal designs are reported.  相似文献

This paper considers Stackelberg solutions for two-level linear programming problems under fuzzy random environments. To deal with the formulated fuzzy random two-level linear programming problem, an α-stochastic two-level linear programming problem is defined through the introduction of α-level sets of fuzzy random variables. Taking into account vagueness of judgments of decision makers, fuzzy goals are introduced and the α-stochastic two-level linear programming problem is transformed into the problem to maximize the satisfaction degree for each fuzzy goal. Through fractile criterion optimization in stochastic programming, the transformed stochastic two-level programming problem can be reduced to a deterministic two-level programming problem. An extended concept of Stackelberg solution is introduced and a numerical example is provided to illustrate the proposed method.  相似文献

Directed hypergraphs represent a general modelling and algorithmic tool, which have been successfully used in many different research areas such as artificial intelligence, database systems, fuzzy systems, propositional logic and transportation networks. However, modelling Markov decision processes using directed hypergraphs has not yet been considered.In this paper we consider finite-horizon Markov decision processes (MDPs) with finite state and action space and present an algorithm for finding the K best deterministic Markov policies. That is, we are interested in ranking the first K deterministic Markov policies in non-decreasing order using an additive criterion of optimality. The algorithm uses a directed hypergraph to model the finite-horizon MDP. It is shown that the problem of finding the optimal policy can be formulated as a minimum weight hyperpath problem and be solved in linear time, with respect to the input data representing the MDP, using different additive optimality criteria.  相似文献

This article proposes a new integrated diagnostic system for islanding detection by means of a neuro‐fuzzy approach. Islanding detection and prevention is a mandatory requirement for grid‐connected distributed generation (DG) systems. Several methods based on passive and active detection scheme have been proposed. Although passive schemes have a large non‐detection zone (NDZ), concern has been raised on active method due to its degrading power‐quality effect. Reliably detecting this condition is regarded by many as an ongoing challenge as existing methods are not entirely satisfactory. The main emphasis of the proposed scheme is to reduce the NDZ to as close as possible and to keep the output power quality unchanged. In addition, this technique can also overcome the problem of setting the detection thresholds inherent in the existing techniques. In this study, we propose to use a hybrid intelligent system called ANFIS (the adaptive neuro‐fuzzy inference system) for islanding detection. This approach utilizes rate of change of frequency (ROCOF) at the target DG location and used as the input sets for a neuro‐fuzzy inference system for intelligent islanding detection. This approach utilizes the ANFIS as a machine learning technology and fuzzy clustering for processing and analyzing the large data sets provided from network simulations using MATLAB software. To validate the feasibility of this approach, the method has been validated through several conditions and different loading, switching operation, and network conditions. The proposed algorithm is compared with the widely used ROCOF relays and found working effectively in the situations where ROCOF fails. Simulation studies showed that the ANFIS‐based algorithm detects islanding situation accurate than other islanding detection algorithms. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. This paper develops a unified and structured solution framework for the minimum spanning tree (MST) problem and its variants (e.g., constrained MST problem and inverse MST problem) on networks with fuzzy link weights. It is applicable to any additive decision criterion under fuzziness (e.g., expected value, value at risk, and conditional value at risk), for generalized cases that the link weights may be represented by arbitrary types of fuzzy variables. It also applies to the entropy criterion while the link weights are continuous fuzzy variables. Following the optimality conditions of the fuzzy MST under different decision criteria proved first in this paper, it is shown that the MST problem and its variants on a fuzzy network can be converted into equivalent deterministic counterparts on their corresponding crisp networks. Consequently, these problems can be effectively solved via their deterministic counterparts without fuzzy simulation, and meanwhile, the performance of the trees under a specified criterion is precisely measured. The accuracy and efficiency are both significantly improved compared with other fuzzy simulation-based approaches. Numerical examples illustrate the superiority of the proposed solution framework. Furthermore, some new theoretical conclusions on the MST problem under fuzziness are also presented.

In the case of a few input and output variables fuzzy systems have a large number of variable parameters which make the practical design and optimization of fuzzy controllers more difficult. It is necessary to reduce the number of variable parameters to simplify the design of fuzzy controllers and to make it accessible to automated design methods. In this paper, the response characteristics and the quality of fuzzy controllers were analysed by using different variable parameters. The quality of a controller is evaluated by the deformation of the characteristic field under consideration of a similarity criterion and the Fourier analysis. It is shown that the reduction in the number of variable parameters does not necessarily result in a restriction of the quality of the fuzzy controller.  相似文献
