In this paper we study equivalent formulations of the DP? Pp (1 < p < ∞). We show that X has the DP? Pp if and only if every weakly-p-Cauchy sequence in X is a limited subset of X. We give su?cient conditions on Banach spaces X and Y so that the projective tensor product X ?π Y, the dual (X ?? Y)? of their injective tensor product, and the bidual (X ?π Y)?? of their projective tensor product, do not have the DP Pp, 1 < p < ∞. We also show that in some cases, the projective and the injective tensor products of two spaces do not have the DP? Pp, 1 < p < ∞.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a class of weighted integral operators onL 2 (0, ) and show that they are unitarily equivalent to Hankel operators on weighted Bergman spaces of the right half plane. We discuss conditions for the Hankel integral operator to be finite rank, Hilbert-Schmidt, nuclear and compact, expressed in terms of the kernel of the integral operator. For a particular class of weights these operators are shown to be unitarily equivalent to little Hankel operators on weighted Bergman spaces of the disc, and the symbol correspondence is given. Finally the special case of the unweighted Bergman space is considered and for this case, motivated by approximation problems in systems theory, some asymptotic results on the singular values of Hankel integral operators are provided.  相似文献

We study the boundedness and compactness of commutators on , where and are defined by and respectively. If satisfies some upper and lower estimates, then we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for to be bounded or compact on for . The reproducing kernel of the harmonic Bergman space of can be shown to satisfy all the required estimates. Our result is the real variable analogue of the complex variable one for commutators associated with an analytic reproducing kernel.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the convergence of the wave equation with variable internal damping term γn(x)ut to the wave equation with boundary damping γ(x)⊗δx∈∂Ωut when (γn(x)) converges to γ(x)⊗δx∈∂Ω in the sense of distributions. When the domain Ω in which these equations are defined is an interval in R, we show that, under natural hypotheses, the compact global attractor of the wave equation damped on the interior converges in X=H1(ΩL2(Ω) to the one of the wave equation damped on the boundary, and that the dynamics on these attractors are equivalent. We also prove, in the higher-dimensional case, that the attractors are lower-semicontinuous in X and upper-semicontinuous in H1−ε(ΩHε(Ω).  相似文献

In this paper we prove that the Marcinkiewicz integral is an operator of type (H 1,L 1) and of type (H 1,,L 1,). Lattices in the variety of lower bounded lattices of rank k are characterized. A sufficient condition for a lattice to be lower bounded is given, and used to produce a new example of a non-finitely-generated lower bounded lattice. Following the work of C. Cowen and T. Kriete on the Hardy space, we prove that under a regularity condition, all composition operators with a subnormal adjoint on A2(D) have linear fractional symbols of the form. Moreover, we show that all composition operators on the Bergman space having these symbols have a subnormal adjoint, with larger range for the parameterr than found in the Hardy space case.  相似文献

Summary We characterize the ordinary generating functions of the Genocchi and median Genocchi numbers as unique solutions of some functional equations and give a direct algebraic proof of several continued fraction expansions for these functions. In this paper we give sufficient conditions to imply the $H^{1}_{w}-L^{1}_{w}$ boundedness of the Marcinkiewicz integral operator $\mu_\Omega$, where w is a Muckenhoupt weight. We also prove that, under the stronger condition $\Omega \in {\rm Lip}_\alpha$, the operator $\mu_\Omega$ is bounded from $H^{p}_{w}$ to $L^{p}_{w}$ for $\max\{n/(n+1/2), n/(n+\alpha)\}$ < p < 1.  相似文献

We construct invariant polynomials on truncated multicurrent algebras, which are Lie algebras of the form g?FF[t1,,t?]/I, where g is a finite-dimensional Lie algebra over a field F of characteristic zero, and I is a finite-codimensional ideal of F[t1,,t?] generated by monomials. In particular, when g is semisimple and F is algebraically closed, we construct a set of algebraically independent generators for the algebra of invariant polynomials. In addition, we describe a transversal slice to the space of regular orbits in g?FF[t1,,t?]/I. As an application of our main result, we show that the center of the universal enveloping algebra of g?FF[t1,,t?]/I acts trivially on all irreducible finite-dimensional representations provided I has codimension at least two.  相似文献

It is proved that the operator Lie algebra ε(T,T) generated by a bounded linear operator T on Hilbert space H is finite-dimensional if and only if T=N+Q, N is a normal operator, [N,Q]=0, and dimA(Q,Q)<+∞, where ε(T,T) denotes the smallest Lie algebra containing T,T, and A(Q,Q) denotes the associative subalgebra of B(H) generated by Q,Q. Moreover, we also give a sufficient and necessary condition for operators to generate finite-dimensional semi-simple Lie algebras. We give a proof of the realization theorem of N.J. Young which states that analytic functions which are symbols of bounded Hankel operators admit par-balanced realizations. The main tool used in this proof is the induced Hilbert spaces and a lifting lemma of Kreîn-Reid-Lax-Dieudonné. Alternatively one can use the Loewner inequality. A short proof of the uniqueness of par-balanced realizations is included. We consider a semilinear parabolic equation subject to a nonlinear dynamical boundary condition that is related to the so-called Wentzell boundary condition. First we prove the existence and uniqueness of global solutions as well as the existence of a global attractor. Then we derive a suitable ?ojasiewicz-Simon type inequality to show the convergence of global solutions to single steady states as time tends to infinity under the assumption that the nonlinear terms f,g are real analytic. We prove that weakly compact operators on a non-reflexive normed space cannot be bijective. We also show that, in the above result, bijectivity cannot be relaxed to surjectivity. Finally, we study the behaviour of surjective weakly compact operators on a non-reflexive normed space, when they are perturbed by small scalar multiples of the identity, and derive from this study the recent result of Spurný [A note on compact operators on normed linear spaces, Expo.
