A series of SBA-15 supported bimetallic Rh–Ni catalysts with different weight ratio of Rh/Ni in the range of 0–0.04 were prepared for carbon dioxide reforming of methane. The doping effect of Rh on catalytic activity as well as carbon accumulation and removal over the catalysts was studied. The characterization results indicated that the addition of a small amount of Rh promoted the reducibility of Ni particles and decreased the Ni particle size. During the dry reforming reaction, the carbon deposition was originated from CH4 decomposition and CO disproportionation. The Rh–Ni catalyst with small metallic particle size inhibited the carbon formation and exhibited high efficiency in the removal of coke. In comparison with bare Ni-based catalyst, the Rh–Ni bimetallic catalysts showed high activity and stability in the dry reforming of methane.  相似文献

The catalytic activity of nanostructured low percent (1%) Co-Ni catalysts on the basis of glass fiber (GF) prepared by a"solution combustion" (SC) method was studied. The catalytic activity of the prepared samples was studied in the reaction of dry reforming of methane (DRM) with CO2.The obtained samples were characterized by a number of physico-chemical methods, including XRD,SEM,TEM,TGA and AFM.The active component was shown to be dispersed in the near-surface layer of the support as nanoparticles of 10—20 nm in size. The active component showed a Co3O4 or(Co,Ni)Co2O4 spinel structure, depending on the catalyst composition. The spinel structure of the active component interacted strongly with the carrier, providing resistance to carbonization, high catalytic activity toward DRM,and high activity and stability in oxidation reactions.  相似文献

The coking kinetics and reaction-regeneration on Zn/HZSM-5(Zn/HZ) catalyst in the conversion of methanol to aromatics were investigated. The highest initial benzene, toluene and xylene(BTX) yield of ca. 67.7% was obtained on fresh Zn/HZ catalyst, which showed the worst catalytic stability. The cycle of reaction-regeneration significantly modified the texture and acidity of Zn/HZ catalyst, which in turn affected its catalytic performance and coking behavior in methanol conversion to BTX. The residual carbon located on the surface of Zn/HZ catalyst led to the decrease of acid sites and the change on the acid sites distribution, which played an important roles on its activity and deactivation. It was found that the high B/L ratio and the low total acid sites concentration of the Zn/HZ catalyst favored to the high BTX yield and good catalytic stability in methanol conversion.  相似文献

Inexpensive γ-alumina-based nickel-copper bimetallic catalysts were studied for the hydrogenolysis of levulinic acid,a key platform molecule for biomass conversion to biofuels and other valued chemicals, into γ-valerolactone as a first step towards the production of 2-methyltetrahydrofurane.The activities of both monometallic and bimetallic catalysts were tested.Their textural and chemical characteristics were determined by nitrogen physisorption, elemental analysis,temperature-programmed ammonia desorption, and temperature-programmed reduction. The monometallic nickel catalyst showed high activity but the highest bγ-product production and significant amounts of carbon deposited on the catalyst surface. The copper monometallic catalyst showed the lowest activity but the lowest carbon deposition. The incorporation of the two metals generated a bimetallic catalyst that displayed a similar activity to that of the Ni monometallic catalyst and significantly low bγ-product and carbon contents, indicating the occurrence of important synergetic effects. The influence of the preparation method was also examined by studying impregnated- and sol-gel-derived bimetallic catalysts.A strong dependency on the preparation procedure and calcination temperature was observed. The highest activity per metal atom was achieved using the sol-gel-derived catalyst that was calcined at 450 ℃.High reaction rates were achieved;the total levulinic acid conversion was obtained in less than 2 h of reaction time, yielding up to 96%γ-valerolactone,at operating temperature and pressure of 250 ℃ and 6.5 MPa hydrogen, respectively.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of preadsorbed CO at different temperatures, calcination temperatures, the combined influence of reduction temperature and time, and pretreatment using hydrogen or syngas as reduction agents on the F-T synthesis (FTS) activity and selectivity of Co/Al2O3 catalyst. The reactivity of the carbon species at higher preadsorption temperature with H2 in TPSR decreased, whereas the carbon-containing species showed higher reactivity over Co/Al2O3 catalyst with low calcination temperature. This agreed well with the order of catalytic activity for F-T synthesis on this catalyst. The catalytic activity of the catalyst varied with reduction temperature and time remarkably. CODEX optimization gave an optimum reduction temperature of 756 K and reduction time of 6.2 h and estimated C5+ yield perfectly. The pretreatment of Co/Al2O3 catalyst with different reduction agents (hydrogen or syngas) showed important influences on the catalytic performance. A high CO conversion and C5+ yield were obtained on the catalyst reduced by hydrogen, whereas methane selectivity on the catalyst reduced by syngas was much higher than that on the catalyst reduced by hydrogen.  相似文献

Several g-Al2O3 supported Pd–Ni bimetallic nanocatalysts(Pd–Ni(x:y)/Al2O3; where x and y represent the mass ratio of Pd and Ni, respectively) were prepared by the impregnation method and used for selective hydrogenation of cyclopentadiene to cyclopentene. The Pd–Ni/Al2O3 samples were confirmed to generate Pd–Ni bimetallic nanoparticles by X-ray diffraction(XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) and transmission electron microscopy(TEM). The catalytic activity was assessed in view of the effects of different mass ratios of Pd and Ni, temperature, pressure, etc. Among all the samples, the Pd–Ni(1:1)/Al2O3(PN-1:1) catalyst showed extremely high catalytic ability. The conversion of cyclopentadiene and selectivity for cyclopentene can be simultaneously more than 90%.  相似文献

A set of mono-and bimetallic(Zn-Co) supported ZSM-5 catalysts was first prepared by PEG-additive method. The physicochemical properties of the catalysts were investigated by FTIR, XPS, XRD, N_2adsorption-desorption measurements, SEM, EDS and NH3-TPD techniques. The physicochemical properties showed that the Zn Co_2O_4 spinel oxide was formed on the ZSM-5 support and provided effectual synergetic effect between Zn and Co species for the bimetallic catalyst. Furthermore, bimetallic supported ZSM-5 catalyst exhibited weak, moderate and strong acidic sites, while the monometallic supported ZSM-5 catalyst showed only weak and moderate or strong acidic sites. Their catalytic performances for thermal decomposition of hexamethylene–1,6–dicarbamate(HDC) to hexamethylene–1,6–diisocyanate(HDI) were then studied. It was found that the bimetallic supported ZSM-5 catalysts, especially Zn-2Co/ZSM-5 catalyst showed excellent catalytic performance due to the good synergetic effect between Co and Zn species, which provided a suitable contribution of acidic sites. HDC conversion of 100% with HDI selectivity of 91.2% and by-products selectivity of 1.3% could be achieved within short reaction time of 2.5 h over Zn-2Co/ZSM-5 catalyst.  相似文献

Milliseconds process to produce hydrogen by steam methane reforming (SMR) reaction, based on Ni catalyst rather than noble catalyst such as Pd, Rh or Ru, in micro-channel reactors has been paid more and more attentions in recent years. This work aimed to further improve the catalytic performance of nickel-based catalyst by the introduction of additives, i.e., MgO and FeO, prepared by impregnation method on the micro-channels made of metal-ceramic complex substrate. The prepared catalysts were tested in the same micro-channel reactor by switching the catalyst plates. The results showed that among the tested catalysts Ni-Mg catalyst had the highest activity, especially under harsh conditions, i.e., at high space velocity and/or low reaction temperature. Moreover, the catalyst activity and selectivity were stable during the 12 h on stream test even when the ratio of steam to carbon (SIC) was as low as 1.0. The addition of MgO promoted the active Ni species to have a good dispersion on the substrate, leading to a better catalytic performance for SMR reaction.  相似文献

Bimetallic Co /Fe catalysts supported on carbon nanotubes( CNTs) were prepared, and niobium( Nb) was added as promoter to the 70 Co ∶30Fe /CNT catalyst. The physicochemical properties of the catalysts were characterized, and the catalytic performances were analyzed at the same operation conditions( H_2 ∶CO( volume ratio) = 2 ∶1,p = 1 MPa,and t = 260 ℃) in a tubular fixed-bed microreactor system. The addition of Nb to the bimetallic catalyst decreases the average size of the oxide nanoparticles and improves the reducibility of the bimetallic catalyst. Evaluation of the catalyst performance in a Fischer-Tropsch reaction shows that the catalyst results in high selectivity to methane, and the selectivity to C_(5+) increased slightly in the bimetallic catalyst unlike that in the monometallic catalysts. The addition of 1% Nb to the bimetallic catalyst increases CO conversion and selectivity to C_(5+). Meanwhile,a decrease in methane selectivity is observed.  相似文献

The dehydrogenation of isobutane (IB) to produce isobutene coupled with reverse water gas shift in the presence of carbon dioxide was investigated over the catalyst Cr2O3 supported on active carbon (Cr2O3/AC). The results illustrated that isobutane conversion and isobutene yield can be enhanced through the reaction coupling in the presence of carbon dioxide. Moreover, carbon dioxide can partially eliminate carbonaceous deposition on the catalyst and keep the active phase (Cr2O3), which are then helpful to alleviate the catalyst deactivation.  相似文献

The aim of this work was to evaluate the catalytic properties of a Ru promoted Co/SBA-15 catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis(FTS).The Ru promoted Co/SBA-15 catalyst was prepared by wet impregnation method and was characterized by X-ray diffraction,X-ray energy dispersion spectrophotometer,N2 adsorption-desorption,temperature-programmed reduction and transmission electron microscopy. The Fischer-Tropsch synthesis using the catalyst was carried out to evaluate the catalyst activity and its effect on FTS product distribution. The synthesis was carried out in a slurry reactor operating at 513 K,20 atm,CO:H2 molar ratio of 1:1.X-ray diffraction showed that the calcined cobalt catalyst did not modify the structure of SBA-15,proving that Co was present in the form of Co3O4 in the catalyst. The addition of cobalt in SBA-15 decreased the specific superficial area of the molecular sieve.Fischer-Tropsch synthesis activity and C5+hydrocarbon selectivity increased with the addition of Ru.The increases in activity and selectivity were attributed to the increased number of active sites resulting from higher reducibility and the synergetic effect of Ru and Co.Ru/Co/SBA-15 catalysts showed moderate conversion(40%)and high selectivity towards the production of C5+(80 wt%).  相似文献

The cobalt and ruthenium bimetallic complex of poly-γ-amino-propylsiloxane( abbr. as Si-CH_2-Co-Ru) was prepared, and it was found that it can catalyze the hydroformylation of cyclobexene effectively with the conversion amounting to over 90%. Cyclohexanecarboxaldehyde was first formed in the hydroformylation, and then further hydrogenated to form cylcohexanemethanol. The coversion was affected obviously by the Co/Ru ratio. When Co/Ru molar ratio was 100-150, i.e. in the very low content of noble metal Ru, the catalytic activity of Si-NH_2 -Co-Ru was also very high. The product composition was affected by CO/H_2 ratio in the reaction gas. Aldehyde can be got high selectively by controlling CO/H_2 ratio. Compared with other catalyst system, the Si-NH_2-Co-Ru catalyst has higher catalytic activity and efficiency with very low Ru/Co ratio. The total turnover number was more than 28,800 (based on the amount of ruthenium used).  相似文献

The influence of La loading on Zr-Co/activated carbon (AC) catalysts has been studied for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. The catalyst samples were characterized by XRD, TPR, CO-TPD, and temperature programmed CO hydrogenation. The catalytic property was evaluated in a fixed bed reactor. The experimental results showed that CO conversion increased from 86.4% to 92.3% and the selectivity to methane decreased from 14.2% to 11.5% and C5+ selectivity increased from 71.0% to 74.7% when low La loading (La = 0.2wt%) was added into the Zr-Co/AC catalyst. However, high loadings of La (La = 0.3-1.0 wt%) would decrease catalyst activity as well as the C5+ selectivity and increase methane selectivity. XRD results displayed that La-modified Zr-Co/AC catalyst had little effect on the dispersion of Co catalyst. But, the results of TPR, CO-TPD, and temperature programmed CO hydrogenation techniques indicated that the extent of cobalt reduction was found to greatly influence the activity and selectivity of the catalyst. The addition of a small amount of La increased the reducibility of the Zr-Co/AC catalyst and restrained the formation of methane and improved the selectivity to long chain hydrocarbons. However, excess of La led to the decrease of the reducibility of Co catalyst thus resulted in higher methanation activity.  相似文献

Gas phase dehydrocyclization of diphenylamine (DPA) to carbazole over monometallic and bimetallic 0.4 wt% Pt-based catalysts in a fixed bed reactor was studied in the presence of hydrogen at a temperature of 550 oC. Alumina and carbon supported Pt catalysts showed very high initial activity (> 95%). The selectivity for carbazole over carbon supported Pt catalysts was slightly lower. Doping of the catalyst with potassium led to an increase in the selectivity for carbazole by 15%. Bimetallic Pt-Sn catalysts prepared by co-impregnation were less selective than catalysts prepared by successive impregnation. The selectivity for carbazole over bimetallic Pt-Sn catalysts prepared by successive impregnation was 75%, but their activity decreased with increased Sn loading. Highly active and reasonably selective catalysts were Ir-doped bimetallic Pt-based catalysts. The conversion of diphenylamine over Pt-Ir catalysts was above 98% and the selectivity for carbazole was nearly 55%, while the lifetime was much longer.  相似文献

The catalytic activity of surfactant stabilized mono-and bimetallic Au and Ag nanoparticles for the oxidation of an amino acid,L-leucine,was studied using hydrogen peroxide as the oxidant. The Au and Ag nanoparticle catalysts exhibited very good catalytic activity and the kinetics of the reaction were found to be pseudo-first order with respect to the amino acid. The effects of several factors, such as oxidant concentration, ionic strength,pH,and catalyst concentration on the reaction, were also investigated. In particular, optimal oxidant and catalyst concentrations were determined.Very high concentrations of the metal nano-catalysts or the oxidant led to a dramatic increase in reaction rate. Moreover, bimetallic Au-Ag catalysts provided higher selectivity than pure Au or Ag.  相似文献

The Co-based catalysts were prepared with different cobalt acetate solutions. Effects of p H value were studied deeply on Fischer–Tropsch synthesis(FTS) through a semi-batch reactor. Among all impregnation solutions(water, butanol, amyl alcohol, acetic acid, nitric acid and ammonium nitrate), the catalyst prepared by NH_4NO_3 solution showed the highest catalytic activity due to its small particle size and high reduction degree. However, the catalyst with the smallest particle size derived from water as impregnation solution exhibited low activity as well as high methane selectivity since it was difficult to be reduced and inactive in FTS. According to FT-IR spectra results, the low intensity of absorbed CO on the catalyst prepared from water solution resulted in low FTS activity. Whereas, the high activity of catalysts prepared from NH_4NO_3 solution could be explained by the high intensity of absorbed CO on the catalysts. The cobalt species on the catalysts prepared under lower p H conditions exhibited smaller particle size distribution as well as lower CO conversion than those prepared at higher p H value.  相似文献

The catalytic hydrogenation of nitrobenzene to aniline employing nickel impregnated on rutile, anatase, and high surface area titania supports has been investigated. The nickel is present in elemental state as fcc phase on the catalyst as evidenced by X-ray diffraction results. The Ni crystallite size was found to be greater for Ni/anatase.The temperature-programmed reduction results suggest a greater metal-support interaction for Ni/rutile.The observed order of catalytic activity for the hydrogenation of nitrobenzene is Ni/rutile > Ni/anatase > Ni/TiO2.A conversion of 99% was observed for Ni/rutile at 140 oC and hydrogen pressure of 1.96 MPa.Interestingly, aniline is the only product formed which demonstrates the catalytic hydrogenation of nitrobenzene proceeds with atom economy. Both Ni/rutile and Ni/anatase exhibited a better stability than Ni/TiO2.The hydrogenation proceeds with the preferential adsorption of hydrogen on nickel present in the catalyst surface, possibly assisted by TiOx species.  相似文献

We applied periodic density-functional theory to investigate the adsorption of HCN on x Ni@Pt(111) bimetallic surfaces(x = 1~4). The results have been compared with those obtained on pure Ni(111) and Pt(111) surfaces. For all bimetallic surfaces,HCN is preferentially tilted with the CN bond parallel to the surface, and adsorption energies increase with an increasing number of layer Ni atoms on the surface. The adsorption energies of HCN on all bimetallic surfaces are larger than that on the Pt(111) surface, whereas the adsorption energies of HCN on 3Ni@Pt(111) and 4Ni@Pt(111) are larger than that on the Ni(111) surface, indicating that the introduction of Ni to the Pt catalyst could increase the activity of bimetallic catalyst in the hydrogenation reaction for nitriles. Larger adsorption energy of HCN leads to a longer C–N bond length and a smaller CN vibrational frequency. The analysis of Bader charge and vibrational frequencies showed obvious weakening of the adsorbed C–N bond and an indication of sp2 hybridization of both carbon and nitrogen atoms.  相似文献

In this work the effects of the contents of nickel(5,7.5,10 wt%)and copper(0,1,2 wt%)and reaction temperature(650,700,750°C)on the catalytic performance of Ni–Cu/Al_2O_3catalyst in methane dry reforming were evaluated using Box–Behnken design in order to optimize methane conversion,H_2/CO ratio and the catalyst deactivation.Different catalysts were prepared by co-impregnation method and characterized by XRD,BET,H_2-TPR,FESEM and TG/DTA analyses. The results revealed that copper addition improved the catalyst reducibility.Promoted catalyst with low amounts of Cu gave higher activity and stability with high resistance to coke deposition and agglomeration of active phase especially during the reaction. However catalysts with high amounts of Cu were less active and rather deactivated due to the active sites sintering as well as Ni covering by Cu-enriched phase. The optimal conditions were determined by desirability function approach as 10 wt%of Ni,0.83 wt%of Cu at 750°C.CH_4conversion of95.1%,H_2/CO ratio of 1 and deactivation of 1.4%were obtained experimentally under optimum conditions, which were in close agreement with the values predicted by the developed model.  相似文献
