Metastable alloys of Ag1-xFex (x=0.17, 0.30, 0.50, 0.54, 0.56 and 1.0) and the stable Au1-yFey (y=0.18 and 0.25) alloy were prepared as thin films by vapor quenching method on low temperature kapton substrate. The X-ray diffraction spectra of all Ag/Fe samples. withx<-0.56, have indication of fee structure with very small grain size. The present work reports in-situ Mössbauer results on Ag/Fe and Au/Fe films. The spectra obtained are characteristic of homogeneous disordered alloy with broad magnetic hyperfine field distribution. Aging effect inducing cluster formation was observed in Ag/Fe films after they were heated to room temperature, but this behavior was not detected in Au/Fe samples.  相似文献

本文计算了三方结构不同表面和不同磁化强度取向下的χ(2)、SHG、MSHG及非线性克尔旋转角Φk,a(2).结果表明,SHG和Φk,a(2)值非常灵敏地依赖于薄膜的表面及磁化强度的取向;三方结构的SHG、Φk,a(2)与fcc、bcc和hcp结构的相比有很大的差异,这表明结构对非线性磁光效应有重要的影响;当M//X、Y轴时,MSHG信号很明显,这表明可通过A值的测量来研究磁性薄膜表面的磁畴结构以及取向.  相似文献

Co(0 0 0 1)hcp/Fe(1 1 0)bcc epitaxial magnetic bi-layer films were successfully prepared on SrTiO3(1 1 1) substrates. The crystallographic properties of Co/Fe epitaxial magnetic bi-layer films were investigated. Fe(1 1 0)bcc soft magnetic layer grew epitaxially on SrTiO3(1 1 1) substrate with two type variants, Nishiyama–Wasserman and Kurdjumov–Sachs relationships. An hcp-Co single-crystal layer is obtained on Ru(0 0 0 1)hcp interlayer, while hcp-Co layer formed on Au(1 1 1)fcc or Ag(1 1 1)fcc interlayer is strained and may involve fcc-Co phase. It has been shown possible to prepare Co/Fe epitaxial magnetic bi-layer films which can be usable for patterned media application.  相似文献

本文基于对称性理论、磁性表面的菲涅耳反射和折射定律,研究了hcp(密排六方体)Co结构的χ(2)、SHG(二次谐波振荡)信号强度和非线性磁光克尔旋转角Φk,α(2)与入射角、偏振角及光子能量的关系.结果表明,Φk,α(2)比线性克尔角有巨大的增强;当接近垂直入射时,Φk,α(2)接近90°;Φk,α(2)灵敏地依赖于M的影响,从而可以通过Φk,α(2)来决定薄膜中的晶轴方向和磁化强度的取向.  相似文献

Fe implanted SnO2 films (5 × 1016 and 1 × 1017 57Fe ions/cm2) characterized by conversion electron Mossbauer spectroscopy (CEMS) are reviewed. The substrate temperatures affect the growth of precipitated iron oxides. The Fe ion implanted film at room temperature (RT) shows no Kerr effect and no magnetic sextet in CEM spectra. The SnO2 film implanted with 57Fe at the substrate temperature of 300 °C show a small Kerr effect although the magnetic sextet is not observed, but post-annealing results in the disappearance of the Kerr effect. This magnetism is considered to be due to defect induced magnetism. Some samples were measured by CEMS at 15 K. SnO2 (0.1 at %Sb and 3 at %Sb) films, implanted at 500 °C and the post-annealed samples, show RT ferromagnetism due to formation of clusters of magnetite and maghemite, respectively. The layer by layer analysis of these films within 100 nm in thickness has been done by depth sensitive CEMS (DCEMS) using a He + 5 % CH4 gas counter. The structures and compositions of Fe implanted SnO2 films, and the effects due to post-annealing were investigated.  相似文献

Ion-beam-synthesized Fe3Si thin films are studied using the magneto-optical Kerr effect, ferromagnetic resonance, electron diffraction, and Auger spectroscopy. A change in the direction of rotation of the plane-polarized light as a function of film-synthesis conditions is discovered when the meridional Kerr effect is recorded. It is shown that the observed effect is related to the presence of thin interference films with different thicknesses on the surfaces of the magnetic layers.  相似文献

FeNiN thin films with good soft magnetic properties were synthesized on Si (1 0 0) substrates at 473 K by RF magnetron sputtering. The dependence of phase structure and magnetic properties on nitrogen partial pressure, nickel concentrations, film thickness and substrate temperature were systematically investigated. The phase evolution from α-(Fe,Ni)N to ξ-(Fe,Ni)2N with increase of nitrogen partial pressure was seen. The addition of Ni caused FeNiN films to turn from BCC structure to FCC structure. Clear reproducible striped domains appeared at the film surfaces when XNi=19.6%, which is explained by the high enough perpendicular anisotropy and the small stress in the film. All films show smooth surfaces and good soft magnetic properties compared to corresponding FeN compounds. The magnetic properties depended dramatically on the phase structure. Optimum soft magnetic properties with HC of <1 Oe are obtained between 5.0%?XNi?10.0%.  相似文献

基于各向异性的平面电磁波传输理论和4×4矩阵法,计算了MnBi,Mn0.53Bi0.47,Mn0.52Bi0.44Sb0.04磁性多层膜系列的磁光科尔旋转角、椭圆率随波长、入射角、磁性层厚度变化曲线.计算结果表明,模拟的科尔旋转角、椭圆率随波长变化规律与实验结果吻合很好;在一定波长的垂直入射下,模拟的科尔旋转角、椭圆率随磁性层厚度变化曲线出现科尔谱极大;在磁性层厚度一定的情况下,当入射光以某一角度 关键词: 4×4矩阵法 磁性多层膜 磁光科尔谱 介电张量  相似文献

用脉冲激光沉积技术制备了掺杂纳米金属颗粒Au或Fe的BaTiO3复合薄膜.用透射电子显微镜和x射线光电子能谱表征了金属颗粒的形态和化学态.330—800nm范围的吸收谱研究表明,掺Au颗粒的BaTiO3薄膜在580nm附近有一个明显的共振吸收峰,而掺Fe颗粒的BaTiO3薄膜没有这样的吸收峰.用Mie散射理论对结果进行了分析. 关键词: 复合薄膜 金属颗粒 脉冲激光沉积 吸收谱  相似文献

Magnetic domains in Fe/Tb sputter-deposited multilayer films are studied magneto-optically using a Kerr microscope. These observations together with other experimental measurements (vibrating sample- and torque magnetometry) showed the important role of the iron-layer thickness dFe on the magnetic properties of the films. At certain combinations of the layer thicknesses both perpendicular and in-plane anisotropies are present in the film. The structural investigations indicate that a gradual increase of the iron-layer thickness dFe leads to a phase transition of iron from amorphous to crystalline at certain thicknesses of the iron layer, which is also reflected in the magnetic behavior of the films. The differences between the magnetic properties of the investigated multilayered Fe/Tb films and those of amorphous FeTb films are discussed as well.  相似文献

Infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy (IRAS) shows that the CO stretching bands of Fe(CO)5 adsorbed on Au surfaces are significantly different in band shape as well as in frequency from the bands observed in a transmission mode. This difference has been observed for other metal substrates and explained in terms of the anomalous dispersion of the refractive index in the region of the observed bands. The refractive indices of Fe(CO)5 are calculated using the Kramers-Kronig relation from the transmission spectra of Fe(CO)5 adsorbed on a sapphire plate, an SiO2-coated sapphire plate, and an Au film evaporated on a sapphire plate, and the IRA spectra of Fe(CO)5 adsorbed on Au are calculated using Fresnel's formula. The results show that the ν10 band of Fe(CO)5 becomes very sharp and shifts to higher frequencies by more than 10 cm−1, while the ν6 band becomes a shoulder of the v10 band, in good agreement with the observed IRA spectra. The IRAS calculation also shows that the weak band observed at 2114 cm−1 for the Au film remains unchanged in position, in agreement with the observed IRAS.  相似文献

We describe magneto-optic Kerr effect studies of ultrathin Fe and Ni films on single crystal surfaces of Ag and Cu. Monolayer Fe films on Ag(100) exhibit the theoretically predicted spin-orbit anisotropy, but also yield some interesting discrepancies between behavior predicted by Kerr effect and by spin-polarized photoemission experiments. Layer-dependent studies of the magnetic moment of Ni on Ag(111) and Ag(100) suggest sp-d hybridization effects quench the first layer magnetic moment on Ag(111) but not on Ag(100). Temperature dependent studies of thin film magnetization obtained from Kerr effect measurements yield thickness dependent Curie temperatures, and critical exponents for several thin film systems.  相似文献

The kinetics of photoinduced effects on Ga5Sb10Ge25Se60 thin film exposed to continuous wave laser radiations are studied as a function of exposure time and laser intensity. The transmission and reflection spectra of thin films before and after exposure are investigated. The optical band gap and the refractive index are derived from the above spectra. Generalized Miller's rule and linear refractive index are used to find the nonlinear susceptibility and nonlinear refractive index of the thin films. The studies show a red shift in the band gap with increase in exposure time and laser power which is attributed to the photoinduced darkening in the films.  相似文献

Nano metal-particle dispersed glasses are the attractive candidates for nonlinear optical material applications.Au/SiO 2 nano-composite thin films with 3 vol% to 65 vol% Au are prepared by inductively coupled plasma sputtering.Au particles as perfect spheres with diameters between 10 nm and 30 nm are uniformly dispersed in the SiO 2 matrix.Optical absorption peaks due to the surface plasmon resonance of Au particles are observed.The absorption property is enhanced with the increase of Au content,showing a maximum value in the films with 37 vol% Au.The absorption curves of the Au/SiO 2 thin films with 3 vol% to 37 vol% Au accord well with the theoretical optical absorption spectra obtained from Mie resonance theory.Increasing Au content over 37 vol% results in the partial connection of Au particles,whereby the intensity of the absorption peak is weakened and ultimately replaced by the optical absorption of the bulk.The band gap decreases with Au content increasing from 3 vol% to 37 vol % but increases as Au content further increases.  相似文献

Magnetic properties of Fe(110) films coated with noble metals are reported. The structural reconstruction of surfaces and films as a factor strongly influencing magnetic behaviour is discussed. The local structure ofB hf near the Fe/Cu, Fe/Ag and Fe/Au interfaces was analyzed. The changes of the in-plane surface anisotropy caused by the coating was found for the Au-coated films.  相似文献

We describe the construction and operation of an ultrahigh-vacuum system devoted to the study of layered magnetic nanostructures. The apparatus includes two growth chambers, where specimens nanostructured along the direction of growth (heterostructures, nanometric and subnanometric thin films and multilayers) are deposited either by molecular beam epitaxy or pulsed laser deposition, and a measurement chamber, where they are analyzed in situ by a variety of electron spectroscopies. Magnetic characterization is obtained by spin resolved inverse photoemission spectroscopy and magneto optical Kerr effect technique. Vacuum transfer towards other experimental facilities is also available. As examples of application, results from half metallic magnetic oxides, such as magnetite (Fe3O4) and manganite (La2/3Sr1/3MnO3) thin films, and ferromagnet/semiconductor interfaces (Fe/Ge(0 0 1)) are also reported.  相似文献

We report an experimental study on magneto-optical (MO) Kerr effects of yttrium-iron garnet (YIG) thin films incorporating Au nanoparticles. The polar MO Kerr spectra in the wavelength between 400 and 800 nm show that, by incorporating the Au nanoparticles, Kerr rotation angles become negative values in the region, where the localized surface plasmon polariton (SPP) resonance of the Au nanoparticles is located. The anomalous Kerr rotation indicates a possible coupling between the MO Kerr effect of YIG and the SPP. A mechanism for the coupling is discussed.  相似文献

SrFe12−x(Sn0.5Zn0.5)xO19 thin films with x=0−5 were synthesized by a sol-gel method on thermally oxidized silicon wafer (Si/SiO2). The site preference and magnetic properties of Zn-Sn substituted strontium ferrite thin films were studied using 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy and magnetic measurements. Mössbauer spectra displayed that the Zn-Sn ions preferentially occupy the 2b and 4f2 sites. The preference for these sites is responsible for the anomalous increase in the magnetization at high Zn-Sn substitutions. X-ray diffraction (XRD) patterns and field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM) micrographs demonstrated that single phase c-axis hexagonal ferrite films with rather narrow grain size distribution were obtained. Vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) was employed to probe magnetic properties of samples. The maximum saturation of magnetization and coercivity at perpendicular direction were 265 emu/g and 6.3 kOe, respectively. It was found that the complex susceptibility has linear variation with static magnetic field.  相似文献
