Three multinuclear Cu (II), Zn (II) and Cd (II) complexes, [Cu2(L)(μ‐OAc)]·CHCl2 ( 1 ), [Zn2(L)(μ‐OAc)(H2O)]·3CHCl3 ( 2 ) and [{Cd2(L)(OAc)(CH3CH2OH)}2]·2CH3CH2OH ( 3 ) with a single‐armed salamo‐like dioxime ligand H3L have been synthesized, and characterized by FT‐IR, UV–vis, X‐ray crystallography and Hirshfeld surfaces analyses. The ligand H3L has a linear structure and C‐H···π interactions between the two molecules. The complex 1 is a dinuclear Cu (II) complex, Cu1 and Cu2 are all five‐coordinate possessing distorted square pyramidal geometries. The complex 2 also forms a dinuclear Zn (II) structure, and Zn1 and Zn2 are all five‐coordinate bearing distorted trigonal bipyramidal geometries. The complex 3 is a symmetrical tetranuclear Cd (II) complex, and Cd1 is a hexa‐coordinate having octahedral configuration and Cd2 is hepta‐coordinate with a pentagonal bipyramidal geometry, and it has π···π interactions inside the molecule. In addition, fluorescence properties of the ligand and its complexes 1 – 3 have also been discussed.  相似文献

A series of mononuclear metal complexes of Co(III), Ni(II) and Cu(II) with 2‐(2,4‐dichlorobenzamido)‐N′‐(3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2‐hydroxybenzylidene)benzohydrazide ( LH 3 ) have been synthesized and characterized using various physico‐chemical, spectroscopic and single crystal X‐ray diffraction techniques. Structural studies of [Co( LH )( LH 2 )]·H2O ( 4 ) revealed the presence of both amido and imidol tautomeric forms of LH 3 , resulting in a distorted octahedral geometry around the Co(III) ion. [Ni( LH )(H2O)]·H2O ( 5 ) and [Cu( LH )(H2O)]·H2O ( 6 ) are isomorphous structures and crystallize in the monoclinic P21/c space group. The crystal structures of 4 , 5 and 6 are stabilized by hydrogen bonds formed by the enclathrated water molecules, C‐H···π and π···π interactions. Complexes along with the ligand ( LH 3 ) were screened for their in vivo anti‐inflammatory activity (carrageenan‐induced rat paw edema method) and in vitro antioxidant activity (DPPH free radical scavenging assay). Metal complexes have shown significant anti‐inflammatory and antioxidant potential.  相似文献

Six new macrocyclic complexes were synthesized by a template reaction of 1,4-bis(2-formylphenoxy)butane with diamines and Cu(NO3)2·3H2O and their structures were proposed on the basis of elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-Vis, magnetic susceptibility measurements, molar conductivity measurements and mass spectra. The metal to ligand molar ratios of the Cu(Ⅱ) complexes were found to be 1 : 1. The Cu(Ⅱ) complexes are 1 : 2 electrolytes as shown by their molar conductivities (∧m) in DMF at 10^-3 mol·L^-1. Due to the existence of free ions the Cu(Ⅱ) complexes are electrically conductive. Their configurations were proposed to be probably distorted octahedral.  相似文献

Two new copper(II) complexes of saccharinate (sac) with bis(2‐pyridylmethyl)amine (bpma) and N,N′‐bis[1‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)ethylidene]ethane‐1,2‐diamine (bapen), [Cu(bpma)(sac)2] · H2O ( 1 ) and [Cu(bapen)(sac)2] ( 2 ), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, TG‐DTA, X‐ray diffraction, and UV/Vis and IR spectroscopy, respectively. In 1 , the copper(II) ion is coordinated by two N‐bonded sac ligands, and three nitrogen atoms of bpma, in a distorted square‐pyramidal coordination arrangement, whereas the arrangement around the copper ion in 2 is a distorted octahedron with two N‐coordinated sac ligands and a tetradentate bapen ligand. In addition to hydrogen bonding involving the water molecule in 1 , the mononuclear species of 1 and 2 are further connected by weak intermolecular C–H ··· π and C–H ··· O interactions to form a three‐dimensional network. Both complexes are luminescent at room temperature and their emissions seem to be due to ligand‐based π–π* transitions.  相似文献

A new hydrazone (LH2) derived from the condensation of 2‐(4‐fluorobenzamido)benzohydrazide with 3,5‐di‐tert‐butyl‐2‐hydroxybenzaldehyde was used to synthesize Co(III), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes. These were characterized using various physicochemical, thermal, spectroscopic and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction techniques. All the complexes crystallize in a monoclinic crystal system with P21/n space group and Z = 4. Structural studies of [Co(L)(LH)]?H2O indicate the presence of both amido and imidol tautomeric forms of the ligand, resulting in a distorted octahedral geometry around the Co(III) ion. On the other hand, in the [Ni(L)(DMF)] and [Cu(L)(H2O)] complexes, the ligand coordinates to the metal through imidol form resulting in distorted square planar geometry, in which the fourth position is occupied by the oxygen of coordinated DMF in [Ni(L)(DMF)] and by a water molecule in [Cu(L)(H2O)]. Hirshfeld surface calculations were performed to explore hydrogen bonding and C―H???π interactions. Molecular docking studies were carried out to study the interaction between the synthesized compounds and proteins (cyclooxygenase‐2 and 5‐lipoxygenase). The complexes along with the parent ligand were screened for their in vivo anti‐inflammatory activity, using the carrageenan‐induced rat paw oedema method. The complexes show significant anti‐inflammatory potencies.  相似文献

A mononuclear copper (II) complex of N‐2‐hydroxyhippuric acid (2HHA), [Cu(HA)(H2O)2], has been synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic and X‐ray powder diffraction studies. Crystal structure of [Cu(HA)(H2O)2] reveals a distorted square‐pyramidal geometry around the metal center. The crystal packing in the complex exhibits a three‐dimensional framework formed by intermolecular O? ; H···O and C? H···O hydrogen bonds. Toxicity and antitumor properties of the complex have been studied in vivo. The complex, capable of depleting glutathione (GSH) at nontoxic doses, may be utilized to sensitize drug‐resistant cells where resistance is due to an elevated level of GSH. Salen-type bisoxime 5,5′-dimethoxy-2,2′-[(ethylenedioxy)bis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenol (H2L) and its trinuclear Ni(II) cluster {[(NiL)(n-BuOH)]2(μ-OAc)2Ni}?·?n-BuOH have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The structure of H2L adopts an L-shape conformation where the two salicylaldoxime moieties are well separated. In the trinuclear Ni(II) cluster, two acetates coordinate to three Ni(II)'s through Ni–O–C–O–Ni bridges, four μ-phenoxos from two [NiL(n-BuOH)] units also coordinate to Ni(II), and two n-butanols coordinate to two terminal Ni(II)'s forming a distorted octahedral geometry. The Ni–O–C–O–Ni and μ-phenoxo bridges play important roles in assembling Ni(II) and the ligands. H2L forms a rectangle-like large cave structure through O–H?···?N, C–H?···?O, and C–H?···?π hydrogen-bond interactions, whereas its trinuclear Ni(II) cluster exhibits a 3-D supramolecular network structure through intermolecular O–H?···?O, C–H?···?O, and C–H?···?π hydrogen-bond interactions.  相似文献

Two mixed-ligand complexes, [Cu(L)(2imi)] (1) and [Ni(L)(2imi)]·MeOH (2) [L = 2-(((5-chloro-2-oxyphenyl)imino)methyl)phenolato) and 2imi = 2-methyl imidazole], have been prepared by the reaction of appropriate metal salts with H2L and 2-methyl imidazole. Their structures were characterized by microanalysis, FT-IR, UV–vis, molar conductivity, and 1H NMR for [Ni(L)(2imi)]·MeOH. The structures were determined using single crystal X-ray diffraction. Each four-coordinate metal center, Cu(II) in 1 and Ni(II) in 2, is surrounded by donors of Schiff base (L2?) and N of 2-methyl imidazole in square planar geometries. α-Amylase activities of these compounds have also been investigated. The experimental data showed that α-amylase was inhibited by Ni(II) complex while the Cu(II) complex causes a 1.3-fold decrease in Km value. Antimicrobial results show that these compounds, especially the Cu(II) complex, have potential for antibacterial activity against Gram negative and Gram positive bacteria and antifungal activity against Aspergillus fumigatus.  相似文献

A novel naphthalenediol‐based bis(salamo)‐type tetraoxime compound (H4L) was designed and synthesized. Two new supramolecular complexes, [Cu3(L)(μ‐OAc)2] and [Co3(L)(μ‐OAc)2(MeOH)2]·4CHCl3 were synthesized by the reaction of H4L with Cu(II) acetate dihydrate and Co(II) acetate dihydrate, respectively, and were characterized by elemental analyses and X‐ray crystallography. In the Cu(II) complex, Cu1 and Cu2 atoms located in the N2O2 sites, and are both penta‐coordinated, and Cu3 atom is also penta‐coordinated by five oxygen atoms. All the three Cu(II) atoms have geometries of slightly distorted tetragonal pyramid. In the Co(II) complex, Co1 and Co3 atoms located in the N2O2 sites, and are both penta‐coordinated with geometries of slightly distorted triangular bipyramid and distorted tetragonal pyramid, respectively, while Co2 atom is hexa‐coordinated by six oxygen atoms with a geometry of slightly distorted octahedron. These self‐assembling complexes form different dimensional supramolecular structures through inter‐ and intra‐molecular hydrogen bonds. The coordination bond cleavages of the two complexes have occurred upon the addition of the H+, and have reformed again via the neutralization effect of the OH?. The changes of the two complexes response to the H+/OH? have observed in the UV–Vis and 1H NMR spectra.  相似文献

Two ternary copper(II) complexes [Cu(L1)(py)] (1) and [Cu(L2)(Himdz]?·?CH3OH (2) with substituted aroylhydrazones, 5-bromo-salicylaldehyde-3,5-dimethoxy-benzoylhydrazone (H2L1) and 5-bromo-salicylaldehyde-p-methyl-benzoylhydrazone (H2L2), pyridine (py) and imidazole (Himdz), have been synthesized. Their crystal structures and spectroscopic properties have been studied. In each complex, the metal is in a square-planar N2O2 coordination formed by the phenolate-O, the imine-N and the deprotonated amide-O atoms of L2?, and the sp2?N atom of the neutral heterocycle. In the solid state, 1 exists as a centrosymmetric dimer due to very weak apical coordination of the metal bound phenolate-O. Complex 2 has no such apical coordination and exists as a monomer. Self-assembly via C–H?···?O, N–H?···?O and O–H?···?N interaction leads to a one-dimensional chain arrangement; other non-covalent interactions such as C–H?···?π and π?···?π are not involved.  相似文献

A new asymmetric Salamo‐based ligand H2L was synthesized using 3‐tertbutyl‐salicylaldehyde and 6‐methoxy‐2‐[O‐(1‐ethyloxyamide)]‐oxime‐1‐phenol. By adjusting the ratio of the ligand H2L and Cu (II), Co (II), and Ni (II) ions, mononuclear, dinuclear, and trinuclear transition metal (II) complexes, [Cu(L)], [{Co(L)}2], and [{Ni(L)(CH3COO)(CH3CH2OH)}2Ni] with the ligand H2L possessing completely different coordination modes were obtained, respectively. The optical spectra of ligand H2L and its Cu (II), Co (II) and Ni (II) complexes were investigated. The Cu (II) complex is a mononuclear structure, and the Cu (II) atom is tetracoordinated to form a planar quadrilateral structure. The Co (II) complex is dinuclear, and the two Co (II) atoms are pentacoordinated and have coordination geometries of distorted triangular bipyramid. The Ni (II) complex is a trinuclear structure, and the terminal and central Ni (II) atoms are all hexacoordinated, forming distorted octahedral geometries. Furthermore, optical properties including UV–Vis, IR, and fluorescence of the Cu (II), Co (II), and Ni (II) complexes were investigated. Finally, the antibacterial activities of the Cu (II), Co (II), and Ni (II) complexes were explored. According to the experimental results, the inhibitory effect was found to be enhanced with increasing concentrations of the Cu (II), Co (II), and Ni (II) complexes.  相似文献

Two dinuclear succinato‐bridged nickel(II) complexes [Ni(RR‐L)]2(μ‐SA)(ClO4)2 ( 1 ) and [Ni(SS‐L)]2(μ‐SA)(ClO4)2 ( 2 ) (L = 5, 5, 7, 12, 12, 14‐hexamethyl‐1, 4, 8, 11‐tetraazacyclotetradecane, SA = succinic acid) were synthesized and characterized by EA, Circular dichroism (CD), as well as IR and UV/Vis spectroscopy. Single crystal X‐ray diffraction analyses revealed that the NiII atoms display a distorted octahedral coordination arrangement, and the succinato ligand bridges two central NiII atoms in a bis bidentate fashion to form dimers in 1 and 2 . The monomers of {[Ni(RR‐L)]2(μ‐SA)}2+ and {[Ni(SS‐L)]2(μ‐SA)}2+ are connected by O–H ··· O and N–H ··· O hydrogen bonds into a 1D right‐handed and left‐handed helical chain along the b axis, respectively. The homochiral natures of 1 and 2 are confirmed by the results of CD spectroscopy.  相似文献

Four new solvent‐induced Ni(II) complexes with chemical formulae [{NiL(μ2‐OAc)(MeOH)}2Ni]·2MeOH ( 1 ), [{NiL(μ2‐OAc)}2(n‐PrOH)(H2O)Ni]·n‐PrOH ( 2 ), [{NiL(μ2‐OAc)(DMF)}2Ni] ( 3 ) and [{NiL(μ2‐OAc)(DMSO)}2Ni]·2DMSO ( 4 ), (H2L = 4‐Nitro‐4′‐chloro‐2,2′‐[(1,3‐propylene)dioxybis(nitrilomethylidyne)]diphenol) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, FT‐IR, UV–Vis spectra and X‐ray crystallography. X‐ray crystal structure determinations revealed that each of the Ni(II) complexes 1–4 consists of three Ni(II) atoms, two completely deprotonated (L)2? units, two μ2‐acetate ions and two coordinated solvent molecules (solvents are methanol, n‐propanol, water, N,N‐dimethylformamide and dimethyl sulphoxide, respectively). Although the four complexes 1–4 were synthesized in different solvents, it is worthwhile that the Ni(II) atoms in the four complexes 1–4 adopt hexa–coordinated with slightly distorted octahedral coordination geometries, and the ratios of the ligand H2L to Ni(II) atoms are all 2: 3. The complexes 1–4 possess self‐assembled infinite 1D, 3D, 1D and 2D supramolecular structures via the intermolecular hydrogen bonds, respectively. In addition, fluorescence behaviors were investigated in the complexes 1–4 .  相似文献

A series of Zn (II), Pd (II) and Cd (II) complexes, [(L) n MX 2 ] m (L = L‐a–L‐c; M = Zn, Pd; X = Cl; M = Cd; X = Br; n, m = 1 or 2), containing 4‐methoxy‐N‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethylene) aniline ( L‐a ), 4‐methoxy‐N‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl) aniline ( L‐b ) and 4‐methoxy‐N‐methyl‐N‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl) aniline ( L‐c ) have been synthesized and characterized. The X‐ray crystal structures of Pd (II) complexes [L 1 PdCl 2 ] (L = L‐b and L‐c) revealed distorted square planar geometries obtained via coordinative interaction of the nitrogen atoms of pyridine and amine moieties and two chloro ligands. The geometry around Zn (II) center in [(L‐a)ZnCl 2 ] and [(L‐c)ZnCl 2 ] can be best described as distorted tetrahedral, whereas [(L‐b) 2 ZnCl 2 ] and [(L‐b) 2 CdBr 2 ] achieved 6‐coordinated octahedral geometries around Zn and Cd centers through 2‐equivalent ligands, respectively. In addition, a dimeric [(L‐c)Cd(μ ‐ Br)Br] 2 complex exhibited typical 5‐coordinated trigonal bipyramidal geometry around Cd center. The polymerization of methyl methacrylate in the presence of modified methylaluminoxane was evaluated by all the synthesized complexes at 60°C. Among these complexes, [(L‐b)PdCl 2 ] showed the highest catalytic activity [3.80 × 104 g poly (methyl methacrylate) (PMMA)/mol Pd hr?1], yielding high molecular weight (9.12 × 105 g mol?1) PMMA. Syndio‐enriched PMMA (characterized using 1H‐NMR spectroscopy) of about 0.68 was obtained with Tg in the range 120–128°C. Unlike imine and amine moieties, the introduction of N‐methyl moiety has an adverse effect on the catalytic activity, but the syndiotacticity remained unaffected.  相似文献

A novel route for the synthesis of Cu(II)‐triazolophthalazine complexes using the Cu(II)‐promoted cyclization dehydrogenation reactions of hydrazonophthalazines under reflux was presented. Two hydrazonophthalazines were cyclized to the corresponding triazolophthalazine ligands, 3‐pyridin‐2‐yl‐3,10b‐dihydro‐[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4‐a]phthalazine ( TPP ) and 3‐(3,10b‐dihydro‐[1,2,4]triazolo[3,4‐a]phthalazin‐3‐yl)‐benzoic acid ( TP3COOH ), followed by in situ complexation with Cu(II) yielding six novel Cu(II)‐triazolophthalazine complexes depending on the reaction conditions. The molecular and supramolecular structures of the Cu(II)‐triazolophthalazine complexes were discussed. The metal sites have rectangular pyramidal geometry in the [Cu(TPP)Cl2]2; 1 and [Cu(TP3COOEt)Cl2(H2O)]2; 4 dinuclear complexes, distorted square planar in [Cu(TP3COOMe)2Cl2]; 3 , [Cu(TP3COOH)2Cl2]; 5 and [Cu(TP3COOH)2Cl2]·H2O; 6 and a distorted octahedral in [Cu(TPP)(H2O)2(NO3)2]; 2 . Hirshfeld analysis showed that the O…H, C…H, Cl…H (except TP3COOH and 2 ), N…H and π‐π stacking interactions are the most important intermolecular contacts. The π‐π stacking interactions are the maximum for TP3COOH and complex 6 with net C…C/C…N contacts of 19.4% and 15.4%, respectively. The orbital–orbital interaction energies of the Cu‐N/Cu‐Cl bonds correlated inversely with the corresponding Cu‐N/Cu‐Cl distances, respectively. The charge transfer processes between Cu(II) and ligand groups were also discussed. The charge densities of the Cu(II) centers are reduced to 0.663–0.995 e due to the interactions with the ligand groups coordinating it.  相似文献

Tridentate chelate complexes M[LX?·?2H2O], where M?=?Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), and Cd(II) have been synthesized from the Schiff base L?=?N-[1-(3-aminopropyl)imidazole]salicylaldimine and X?=?Cl. Microanalytical data, UV-Vis, magnetic susceptibility, IR, 1H-NMR, mass, and EPR techniques were used to confirm the structures. Electronic absorption spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements suggest square-planar geometry for copper complex and octahedral for other metal complexes. EPR spectra of copper(II) complex recorded at 300?K confirm the distorted square-planar geometry of the copper(II) complex. Biological activities of the ligand and metal complexes have been studied on Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Candida albicans by the well diffusion method. The activity data show the metal complexes to be more potent than the parent ligand against two bacterial species and one fungus. The electrochemical behavior of the copper complex was studied by cyclic voltammetry.  相似文献

A mononuclear Cu(II) complex with mixed ligands, formulated as [Cu(hypydc)(dmp)]·H2O (hypydc=4‐hydroxypyridine‐2,6‐dicarboxylate, dmp=2,9‐dimethyl‐1,10‐phenanthroline), was synthesized and well characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis, as well as spectroscopic (IR, UV‐Vis), and electrochemical methods. The Cu(II) atom exhibits a distorted square‐pyramidal geometry. Intermolecular O? H···O and C? H···O hydrogen bonds, π‐π stacking interactions and C? H···π interactions seem to be effective in the stabilization of the crystal structure. The complex was also evaluated for its antimicrobial activity using in vitro microdilution methods. Six standard bacteria and a strain of Candida albicans were used for the antimicrobial activities. There was a very strong activity against Candida albicans and significant activities against Enterococcus fecalis, Listeria monocytogenes, Bacillus cereus and Staphylococcus aureus, indicating important biological activities of the complex.  相似文献

Two new transition metal dicyanamide complexes [Co2(tppz)(dca)4]·CH3CN ( 1 ) [tppz=tetra(2‐pyridyl)pyrazine, dca=dicyanamide] and [Co(tptz)(dca)(H2O)](dca) ( 2 ) [tptz=2,4,6‐tri(2‐pyridyl)‐1,3,5‐triazine] were synthesized and characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. In 1 each cobalt(II) atom is coordinated to three dca anions and one tppz molecule to form a distorted octahedral geometry, the neigbour two cobalt(II) atoms are bridged by one tppz ligand to form a dimer, then the cobalt(II) atoms in each dimer are joined together to form a ladder chain structure. In 2 the coordination geometry around the central metal is also distorted octahedral, each cobalt(II) atom is coordinated by two dca anions, one tptz molecule and one water ligand to form a cationic part, and the cationic part is linked with the free dca anions via the electrostatic attraction to give an infinite chain structure. Magnetic susceptibility measurement in the range of 2–300 K indicates that there are antiferromagnetic couplings between adjacent metal ions in 1 (T>29 K, (=?9.78 K, C=4.92 cm3·K·mol?1) and ferromagnetic couplings in 2 (T>150 K, (=7.97 K, C=2.59 cm3·K·mol?1) respectively.  相似文献

A new molecular magnet, [NO2BrBzPyCH3][Ni(mnt)2] ( 1 ) ([NO2BrBzPyCH3]+ = 1‐(2′‐bromo‐4′‐nitrobenzyl)‐2‐methylpyridinium, and mnt2– = maleonitriledithiolate), has been prepared and characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction and magnetic measurements. The Ni(III) ions of 1 form a quasi‐one‐dimensional alternating zig‐zag magnetic chain within a Ni(mnt)2 column by intermolecular Ni···S, Ni···Ni or π···π interactions, and the [NO2BrBzPyCH3]+ cations stack into a column via weak Br···O interaction, p···π stacking interactions and C‐H···O hydrogen bonds between the cations. Magnetic susceptibility measurements in the temperature range 1.8‐300 K show that 1 exhibits a spin‐gap transition around 180 K, and an antiferromagnetic interaction in the high‐temperature phase (HT) and spin gap behavior in the low‐temperature phase (LT). The transition for 1 is a second‐order phase transition as determined by DSC analyses.  相似文献

Three copper(II) complexes, [Cu2(OAc)4L2] · 2CH3OH ( 1 ), [CuBr2L′2(CH3OH)] · CH3OH ( 2a ), and [CuBr2L′2(DMSO)] · 0.5CH3OH ( 2b ) {L = N‐(9‐anthracenyl)‐N′‐(3‐pyridyl)urea and L′ = N‐[10‐(10‐methoxy‐anthronyl)]‐N′‐(3‐pyridyl)urea} have been synthesized by the reaction of L with the corresponding copper(II) salts. Complex 1 shows a dinuclear structure with a conventional “paddlewheel” motif, in which four acetate units bridge the two CuII ions. In complexes 2a and 2b , the anthracenyl ligand L has been converted to an anthronyl derivative L′, and the central metal ion exhibits a distorted square pyramidal arrangement, with two pyridyl nitrogen atoms and two bromide ions defining the basal plane and the apical position is occupied by a solvent molecule (CH3OH in 2a and DMSO in 2b ).  相似文献
