Poly(di(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyl acrylate) (PDPyMA), which was obtained by the free radical polymerization of designed coordinative monomer of di(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyl acrylate, is able to coordinate with various metal ions to form heterogeneous catalysts for diverse catalytic reactions. The Pd and Cu complexes supported by PDPyMA were developed for the heterogeneous Suzuki‐Miyaura reaction and Friedel‐Crafts alkylation, respectively. The PDPyMA‐based catalysts showed no significant decline of reactivity after five times recycling. However, the hydrolysis of the PDPyMA backbone under alkaline conditions limited the catalytic efficiency of this heterogeneous catalyst so that the coordinative monomer was redesigned as 1,1‐di(pyridine‐2‐yl)‐2‐(4‐vinylphenyl)ethan‐1‐ol and then 2,2′‐(1‐methoxy‐2‐(4‐vinylphenyl)ethane‐1,1‐diyl)dipyridine (MVPhDPy). With copolymerization of N‐isopropyl acrylamide (NIPAM), the efficiency of polymer‐based heterogeneous catalysts could be further raised, demonstrated by the increased turn over number in the Suzuki‐Miyaura reaction, which approached 5,260 by using the catalyst formed from poly(MVPhDPy‐co‐NIPAM) and Pd(OAc)2. poly(MVPhDPy‐co‐NIPAM) copolymer, therefore, could be a versatile platform to support different metal ions for various heterogeneous catalytic reactions.  相似文献

In this paper, a highly active, air‐ and moisture‐stable and easily recoverable magnetic nanoparticles tethered mesoionic carbene palladium (II) complex (MNPs‐MIC‐Pd) as nanomagnetic catalyst was successfully synthesized by a simplistic multistep synthesis under aerobic conditions using commercially available inexpensive chemicals for the first time. The synthesized MNPs‐MIC‐Pd nanomagnetic catalyst was in‐depth characterized by numerous physicochemical techniques such as FT‐IR, ICP‐AES, FESEM, EDS, TEM, p‐XRD, XPS, TGA and BET surface area analysis. The prepared MNPs‐MIC‐Pd nanomagnetic catalyst was used to catalyze the Suzuki–Miyaura and Mizoroki–Heck cross‐coupling reactions and exhibited excellent catalytic activity for various substrates under mild reaction conditions. Moreover, MNPs‐MIC‐Pd nanomagnetic catalyst could be easily and rapidly recovered by applying an external magnet. The recovered MNPs‐MIC‐Pd nanomagnetic catalyst exhibited very good catalytic activity up to ten times in Suzuki–Miyaura and five times in Mizoroki–Heck cross‐coupling reactions without considerable loss of its catalytic activity. However, MNPs‐MIC‐Pd nanomagnetic catalyst shows notable advantages such as heterogeneous nature, efficient catalytic activity, mild reaction conditions, easy magnetic work up and recyclability.  相似文献

A new bis(N ‐heterocyclic carbene) (NHC) palladium complex supported on silica coated magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) was prepared using the reaction of synthesized Pd‐NHC complex with MNPs. The Pd‐NHC complex was prepared using the reaction of a hydroxyl‐functionalized bis‐imidazolium ionic liquid. The Pd‐NHC organometallic complex was used as a heterogeneous recyclable and active catalyst in the Suzuki‐Miyaura reaction and various aryl halides were coupled with arylboronic acids in order to synthesize diverse biaryls in good to excellent yields. The prepared catalyst was characterized by use of some different microscopic and spectroscopic techniques including elemental analysis, FT‐IR spectroscopy, diffuse reflectance UV–Vis spectrophotometery, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and X‐ray diffraction (XRD). The Pd‐NHC catalyst system is a magnetic reusable catalyst and it can be separated from the reaction mixture using an external magnetic field. The catalyst was reusable in the Suzuki‐Miyaura coupling reaction at least for 6 times without significant decreasing in its catalytic activity.  相似文献

In this study, the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction of naphthyl triflate with indole boronic acids catalyzed by a recyclable polymer‐supported Pd–NHC complex catalyst is presented. The polymer‐supported catalyst can be reused several times retaining high activity for the transformation. The structures of all the synthesized compounds were established by elemental analysis and from their mass, 1H‐NMR, and 13C‐NMR spectra.  相似文献

We have investigated the requirements for efficient Pd‐catalyzed Suzuki–Miyaura catalyst‐transfer condensation polymerization (Pd‐CTCP) reactions of 2‐alkoxypropyl‐6‐(5‐bromothiophen‐2‐yl)‐3‐(4,4,5,5‐tetramethyl‐1,3,2‐dioxaborolan‐2‐yl)pyridine ( 12 ) as a donor–acceptor (D –A) biaryl monomer. As model reactions, we first carried out the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction of X–Py–Th–X′ (Th=thiophene, Py=pyridine, X, X′=Br or I) 1 with phenylboronic acid ester 2 by using tBu3PPd0 as the catalyst. Monosubstitution with a phenyl group at Th‐I mainly took place in the reaction of Br–Py–Th–I ( 1 b ) with 2 , whereas disubstitution selectively occurred in the reaction of I–Py–Th–Br ( 1 c ) with 2 , indicating that the Pd catalyst is intramolecularly transferred from acceptor Py to donor Th. Therefore, we synthesized monomer 12 by introduction of a boronate moiety and bromine into Py and Th, respectively. However, examination of the relationship between monomer conversion and the Mn of the obtained polymer, as well as the matrix‐assisted laser desorption ionization time‐of‐flight (MALDI‐TOF) mass spectra, indicated that Suzuki–Miyaura coupling polymerization of 12 with (o‐tolyl)tBu3PPdBr initiator 13 proceeded in a step‐growth polymerization manner through intermolecular transfer of the Pd catalyst. To understand the discrepancy between the model reactions and polymerization reaction, Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reactions of 1 c with thiopheneboronic acid ester instead of 2 were carried out. This resulted in a decrease of the disubstitution product. Therefore, step‐growth polymerization appears to be due to intermolecular transfer of the Pd catalyst from Th after reductive elimination of the Th‐Pd‐Py complex formed by transmetalation of polymer Th–Br with (Pin)B–Py–Th–Br monomer 12 (Pin=pinacol). Catalysts with similar stabilization energies of metal–arene η2‐coordination for D and A monomers may be needed for CTCP reactions of biaryl D–A monomers.  相似文献

In this work, an easily obtained procedure was successfully implemented to prepare novel palladium nanoparticles decorated on triethanolammonium chloride ionic liquid‐functionalized TiO2 nanoparticles [TiO2/IL‐Pd]. Different methods were carried out for characterizations of the synthesized nanocatalyst (HR‐TEM, XPS, XRD, FE‐SEM, EDX, FT‐IR and ICP). TiO2/IL‐Pd indicated good catalytic activity for the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction of arylboronic acid with different aryl halides in aqueous media at ambient temperature. The recycled catalyst was investigated with ICP to amount of Pd leaching after 6 times that had diminished slightly, Thus, was confirmed that the nanocatalyst has a good sustainability for C–C Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction. The catalyst can be conveniently separated by filtration of the reaction mixture and reused for 6 times without significant loss of its activity. It supplies an environmentally benign alternative path to the existing protocols for the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction.  相似文献

Pd supported on diethylenetriamine (DETA) modified single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT-DETA/Pd) hybrid materials were fabricated for the first time. The prepared heterogeneous catalyst was characterized by XRD, FTIR, SEM, TGA, and TEM. The catalytic activity of the prepared catalyst was investigated by employing the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction as a model reaction. A series of biphenyl compounds were synthesized through the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction using SWCNT-DETA/Pd2+ as a catalyst. The yields of the products were in the range from 80% to 98%. The catalyst can be readily recovered and reused at least for seven consecutive cycles without significant loss of its catalytic activity.  相似文献

A bipyridine‐based covalent organic polymer (COP) was successfully synthesized by condensation of trimesoyl chloride (TMC) and 2,2′‐bipyridine‐5,5′‐diamine (Bpy) under ambient conditions. This material was modified by coordination of PdCl2 to COP framework, affording a hybrid material, Pd@TMC‐Bpy COP, which was applied as a highly efficient heterogeneous catalyst for Suzuki‐Miyaura reaction under ligand‐free conditions in ethyl lactate. The catalyst could be reused for five times without obvious loss of its activity.  相似文献

A nanosilica (derived from rice husk)‐anchored Pd(II)–Schiff base complex has been synthesized and characterized. This immobilized complex has been found to be a very effective and recyclable heterogeneous catalyst for the Suzuki–Miyaura cross‐coupling reaction of various aryl halides with arylboronic acid in aqueous medium under mild conditions. The products were identified using 1H NMR and mass spectral studies. This complex can be easily filtered out from the reaction medium and reused up to six times without significant loss of catalytic activity. Since the reaction proceeds under mild conditions in aqueous medium as well as the catalyst being recyclable, it provides an environmentally benign alternative route to the existing protocols for the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction.  相似文献

An improved and eco‐friendly procedure has been developed to generate mesoporous silica‐supported palladium nanoparticles (SiO2@PdNP) that could be used as a sustainable heterogeneous Pd catalyst for phosphine‐free Suzuki–Miyaura and Heck coupling reactions with excellent turnover number and turnover frequency. The presence of Pd on the silica surface was detected by X‐ray diffraction and the structural morphology of SiO2@PdNP was obtained by transmission electron microscopy. The heterogeneous catalytic system is recyclable and leaching of the metal after the reaction is not apparently observed. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

The sulfonated palladium(II) N‐heterocyclic carbene complex PdII(NHC)SO3?, supported on poly(4‐vinylpyridinium chloride), was used as a heterogeneous, recyclable and active catalyst for the Suzuki–Miyaura reaction. This catalyst was applied for coupling of various aryl halides with phenylboronic acid and the corresponding products were obtained in excellent yields and short reaction times. The catalyst was characterized using Fourier transform infrared and diffuse reflectance UV–visible spectroscopies, scanning electron microscopy and elemental analysis. After each reaction, the catalyst was recovered easily by simple filtration and reused several times without significant loss of its catalytic activity. The preparation of a novel palladium‐supported periodic mesoporous organosilica based on alkylimidazolium ionic liquid (Pd@PMO‐IL) in which imidazoilium ionic liquid is uniformly distributed in the silica mesoporous framework is described. Both Pd@PMO‐IL and the parent PMO‐IL were characterized by N2‐adsorption–desorption, diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (DRIFTS), TEM, and solid‐state NMR spectroscopy. We have demonstrated that Pd@PMO‐IL is an efficient and reusable catalyst for the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction of various types of iodo‐, bromo‐, and even deactivated aryl chlorides in water. It was also found that although the PMO‐IL nanostructure acts as reservoir for soluble Pd species, it can also operate as a nanoscaffold to recapture the Pd nanoparticles into the mesochannels thus preventing extensive agglomeration of Pd. This observation might be attributed to the isolated ionic liquid units that effectively control the reaction mechanism by preventing Pd agglomeration and releasing and recapturing Pd nanoparticles during the reaction process. The catalyst can be recovered and reused for at least four reaction cycles without significant loss of activity.  相似文献

A simple synthetic strategy of polyamide was described from melamine and terephalic acid via one‐step polycondensation. PdCl2 was then immobilized on the polyamide (denoted as Pd/MPA). Melamine and terephalic acid not only acted as monomers but also provided the ligand sites to help the polyamide to coordinate with Pd(II). The Pd/MPA catalyst was characterized by FT‐IR, TGA, SEM, TEM, XPS, N2 adsorption‐desorption and atomic absorption spectroscopy. The catalyst was used in Suzuki‐Miyaura coupling reaction of various aryl halides, including less reactive chlorobenzene and benzyl chloride, to give the coupling products in moderate to excellent yields. High turnover frequencies (TOF) up to 29400 h‐1 can be also obtained. In addition, it behaved truly as a heterogeneous catalyst with high reusability after being recycled 6 times and palladium leaching was negligible during the process. This work provides a practical polyamide support to develop heterogeneous palladium catalysts with simple synthetic procedure and low cost.  相似文献

Palladium immobilized on organic–inorganic (silica‐gel) hybrid materials behaves as a very efficient heterogeneous catalyst in the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction. Aryl iodides, bromides, and activated chlorides, coupled with organoboronic acids (Suzuki–Miyaura reaction), smoothly afford the corresponding cross‐coupling products in excellent yields under phosphine‐free and amine‐free reaction conditions in the presence of 3‐aminopropyl functionalized silica‐gel immobilized palladium (silica‐APTS‐Pd) as catalyst. Furthermore, the silica‐supported palladium catalyst could be recovered and recycled by simple filtration of the reaction solution. It could be reused for more than 15 consecutive trials without significant loss of its catalytic activity.  相似文献

Biguanidine‐functionalized chitosan was synthesized and combined with palladium nanoparticles to yield a recyclable, environmentally benign, heterogeneous catalytic system for the Suzuki–Miyaura C–C coupling reaction. The catalyst was characterized using various techniques. The catalyst was used in Suzuki cross‐coupling reactions of various aryl halides, including less reactive chlorobenzenes, with phenylboronic acid to give biaryls without any additive or ligand. A reusability test demonstrated that the catalyst was highly efficient even after six runs. Solid‐phase poisoning and leaching tests indicated that the catalyst has a heterogeneous nature. Graphene oxide was functionalized with benzimidazole for palladium immobilization. The resultant graphene–benzimidazole‐supported palladium composite (G‐BI‐Pd) was characterized using infrared and Raman spectroscopies, transmission electron microscopy and energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy. G‐BI‐Pd showed excellent catalytic activity and fast reaction kinetics in the aqueous‐phase Suzuki–Miyaura reaction of aryl iodides and bromides with phenylboronic acid under relatively mild conditions (5–25 min, 80 °C). The catalyst can be used several times without any significant loss of its catalytic activity.  相似文献

The development of environmentally friendly heterogeneous catalysts for organic reactions in water is becoming of growing importance for the development of sustainable processes. In this work, a porous organic polymer‐supported palladium catalyst (Pd@UPOP‐1) was successfully fabricated from 3,3′‐diaminobenzidine and methylenediphenyl diisocyanate through a facile urea‐forming condensation reaction. The structure and composition of the catalyst were characterized using several physicochemical methods. Pd@UPOP‐1 was found to possess good porous structure and excellent amphiphilicity. Under mild reaction conditions, the catalyst showed excellent catalytic activity and good substrate compatibility for the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction of aryl bromides, as well as the hydroxycarbonylation reaction of aryl iodides. In addition, the catalyst could be used for several consecutive recycles in both cases.  相似文献

MCM‐41‐supported tridentate nitrogen palladium(II) complex [MCM‐41‐3 N‐Pd(II)] was conveniently synthesized from commercially available and cheap 3‐(2‐aminoethylamino)propyltrimethoxysilane via immobilization on MCM‐41, followed by reacting with pyridine‐2‐carboxaldehyde and PdCl2. It was found that this palladium complex is an excellent catalyst for the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling reaction of aryl bromides on two points: (i) the use of 5 × 10−4 mol equiv. of MCM‐41‐3 N‐Pd(II) under air afforded the coupling products efficiently after easy workup; (2) the catalyst can be reused many times without loss of catalytic activity. Mixed valent Pd(0)/Pd(II) nano‐sized aggregates supported onto a chemically robust layered zirconium carboxyphosphonate framework is prepared and its catalytic activity in Suzuki‐Miyaura cross coupling reaction is explored. The exceptionally high catalytic efficacy of the heterogeneous catalyst in Suzuki‐Miyaura cross coupling reaction is signified by remarkably short reaction time 2 minutes and high turnover frequency of 1.3 x 104 hr?1. The catalyst can be recycled several times without significant loss of catalytic efficacy, while spectroscopic, structural and microscopic investigations suggest the integrity of the catalyst even after fifth catalytic cycle. The unique ability of the zirconium carboxyphosphonate framework to interact strongly with palladium in dual Pd(0)/Pd(II) oxidation states has been attributed to this remarkable augmentation of catalytic efficacy.  相似文献

The new monophosphine ligand HandaPhos has been identified such that when complexed in a 1:1 ratio with Pd(OAc)2, enables Pd‐catalyzed cross‐couplings to be run using ≤1000 ppm of this pre‐catalyst. Applications to Suzuki–Miyaura reactions involving highly funtionalized reaction partners are demonstrated, all run using environmentally benign nanoreactors in water at ambient temperatures. Comparisons with existing state‐of‐the‐art ligands and catalysts are discussed herein.  相似文献
