ABSTRACT

We unravel the nonequilibrium quantum dynamics of two harmonically confined bosons in one spatial dimension when performing an interaction quench from finite repulsive to attractive interaction strengths and vice versa. A closed analytical form of the expansion coefficients of the time-evolved two-body wavefunction is derived, while its dynamics is determined in terms of an expansion over the postquench eigenstates. For both quench scenarios the temporal evolution is analysed by inspecting the one- and two-body reduced density matrices and densities, the momentum distribution and the fidelity. Resorting to the fidelity spectrum and the eigenspectrum we identify the dominant eigenstates of the system that govern the dynamics. Monitoring the dynamics of the above-mentioned observables we provide signatures of the energetically higher-lying states triggered by the quench.  相似文献

One of the appealing features of topological systems is the presence of robust edge modes. Under a sudden quantum quench, the edge modes survive for a characteristic time that scales with the system size, during which the nontrivial topology continues to manifest in entanglement properties, even though the post-quench Hamiltonian belongs to a trivial phase. We exemplify this in the quench dynamics of a two-dimensional Haldane model with the help of one-particle entanglement spectrum and the probability density of its mid-states. We find that, beyond our knowledge in one-dimensional models, the momentum dependence of the transverse velocity plays a crucial role in the out-of-equilibrium evolution of the entanglement properties.  相似文献

We find that the dynamical phase transition (DPT) in nearest-neighbor bipartite entanglement of time-evolved states of the anisotropic infinite quantum XY spin chain, in a transverse time-dependent magnetic field, can be quantitatively characterized by the dynamics of an information-theoretic quantum correlation measure, namely, quantum work-deficit (QWD). We show that only those nonequilibrium states exhibit entanglement resurrection after death, on changing the field parameter during the DPT, for which the cumulative bipartite QWD is above a threshold. The results point to an interesting inter-relation between two quantum correlation measures that are conceptualized from different perspectives.  相似文献

Coupled-channels calculations have been carried out for pion inelastic scattering and charge exchange on 1p-shell nuclei at pion energies between 120 and 226 MeV. A momentum space technique is used, with the 1p-shell shell-model wavefunctions of Cohen and Kurath. Results are presented here for A=13. Channel-coupling effects are negligible in the strong 3/2- and 5/2- inelastic excitations of 13C, but enhance the analog charge-exchange cross sections by 7 to 20%.  相似文献

We investigate a framework of an orbital angular momentum (OAM) entanglement swapping in a multi-dimensional Hilbert space with the spin angular momentum (SAM)-based orbital angular momentum (OAM) Bell-sate analysis. By the implementations of entanglement swapping with the SAM and OAM Bell-state measurements subsequently, the OAM entanglement states (qudits) are generated and then transferred between photons in multi-dimensional Hilbert space in a point-to-point fashion. In the proposed scheme, two pairs of the SAM-based OAM hybrid entanglement photons are deployed to conduct the successive SAM and OAM Bell-state measurements. It provides an alternative technique to transfer pure OAM Bell-states in qudits, which illustrates a possible experimental approach for devising a full repeater in a complex quantum computation network where entanglement swapping serves as a critical constituent.  相似文献

光子既是经典信息也是量子信息的理想载体. 单个光子不仅可以携带自旋角动量(与光波的圆偏振相关), 还可以携带轨道角动量(与光波的螺旋相位相关). 而轨道角动量的重要意义在于可利用单个光子的量子态构建一个高维的Hilbert空间, 从而实现高维量子信息的编码. 自Allen等于1992年确认光子轨道角动量的物理存在以来, 轨道角动量在经典光学和量子光学领域展现了诸多诱人的应用前景, 目前已成为国际光学领域的研究热点之一. 本综述将着重介绍高阶轨道角动量光束的制备与调控技术, 特别是高阶轨道角动量的量子纠缠态操控、旋转Doppler 效应测量及其在远程传感和精密测量技术中的应用.  相似文献

We explore the quantum dynamical behavior of the Morse oscillator in the phase space using the Wigner function. For an initial wave packet excited with Gaussian probability distribution, we calculate the associated Wigner function and compute its time evolution. By calculating the marginal probabilities, we study the formation of quantum carpets both in the position space and in the momentum space. In addition, in view of these probabilities, we present the time evolution of the position and momentum expectation values. The structure of quantum carpets and the time-evolved expectation values mimic the emergence of quantum revivals and fractional revivals.  相似文献

We study steered coherence(SC) and entanglement in a three-spin Heisenberg XX model under twisted boundary conditions and show that their strengths can be significantly enhanced by tuning the twist angle. The optimal twist angle θ_(opt) for achieving the maximum l_1 norm of SC is π in the region of weak field B and decreases gradually from π to 0 when B increases after a critical value, while for the relative entropy of SC, θ_(opt) equals π in the weak field region and 0 otherwise.The entanglement and the critical temperature above which the entanglement vanishes can also be significantly enhanced by tuning the twist angle from 0 to π.  相似文献

Based on the relativistic Bethe-Salpeter (BS) equation, the positronium wavefunctions in Euclidean momentum space are obtained. Meanwhile the energy levels of positronium ground states 11S0 and 13S1 are fitted to be 6.7934 eV and 6.7929 eV respectively, which qualitatively agree with the previous theoretical values. It is shown that the BS theory is valid and reliable to treat positronium.  相似文献

Information-theory measures, in particular the Shannon entropy, Fisher information and statistical complexity, are used to discuss the variations among several commonly encountered model two-electron correlated wavefunctions. The Hookean, Moshinsky, and three-parameter Chandrasekhar wavefunctions are considered in real and momentum space, with further comparisons to the Hookean-Hartree-Fock (HF) wavefunction of Ragot, the numerical HF limit, and the hydrogenic (pure Coulomb) limit. The purpose of the study is to quantitatively analyze the effect of different models for inclusion of electron-electron correlation on information-theoretical measures, including statistical complexity, which characterize the electron distribution in position and momentum space.  相似文献

Light-front holography leads to a rigorous connection between hadronic amplitudes in a higher dimensional anti-de Sitter(AdS) space and frame-independent light-front wavefunctions of hadrons in(3 + 1)-dimensional physical space-time,thus providing a compelling physical interpretation of the AdS/CFT correspondence principle and AdS/QCD,a useful framework which describes the correspondence between theories in a modified AdS 5 background and confining field theories in physical space-time.To a first semiclassical approximation,where quantum loops and quark masses are not included,this approach leads to a single-variable light-front Schro¨dinger equation which determines the eigenspectrum and the light-front wavefunctions of hadrons for general spin and orbital angular momentum.The coordinate z in AdS space is uniquely identified with a Lorentz-invariant coordinate ζ which measures the separation of the constituents within a hadron at equal light-front time.The internal structure of hadrons is explicitly introduced and the angular momentum of the constituents plays a key role.We give an overview of the light-front holographic approach to strongly coupled QCD.In particular,we study the photon-to-meson transition form factors(TFFs) FMγ(Q 2) for γ→ M using light-front holographic methods.The results for the TFFs for the η and η ' mesons are also presented.Some novel features of QCD are discussed,including the consequences of confinement for quark and gluon condensates.A method for computing the hadronization of quark and gluon jets at the amplitude level is outlined.  相似文献

We show that violation of the variance based local sum uncertainty relation (LSUR) for angular momentum operators of a bipartite system, proposed by Hofmann and Takeuchi [Phys. Rev. A 68 032103 (2003)], reflects entanglement in the equal bipartitions of an N-qubit symmetric state with even qubits. We establish the one-to-one connection with the violation of LSUR with negativity of covariance matrix [Phys. Lett. A 364 203 (2007)] of the two-qubit reduced system of a permutation symmetric N-qubit state.  相似文献

尽管几何动量最初的引入是为了描述超面上的运动粒子的动量,却不需要限制在真实的曲面上.如果一个曲线坐标系包含了超面族和超面上的法向矢量作为一个坐标轴的单位矢量,几何动量可以定义在超面族上,并参与构造对易力学量完全集.在三维各向同性谐振子中,采用球坐标描述,存在等效球面,并在球面族上建立对易力学量完全集.因此,三维各向同性谐振子同时具有动量和几何动量分布.这两个动量的差,可以定义为径向动量,从而使得径向动量可以测量.那么,通过几何动量,可以显示出狄拉克引进的径向动量的物理意义,而不是一直认为的那样完全不具有观测意义.  相似文献

We present an introduction to the application of ab initio methods of Quantum Chemistry to the molecular model of atomic collisions. This includes the choice and calculation of molecular wavefunctions using the well known Self Consistent Field and Configuration Interaction methods; the calculation of dynamical couplings and a detailed study of diabatic states. We introduce a method of quantum tomography for a continuous variable system in position and momentum space. We consider a single two-level probe interacting with a quantum harmonic oscillator by means of a class of Hamiltonians, linear in position and momentum variables, during a tunable time span. We study two cases: the reconstruction of the wavefunctions of pure states and the direct measurement of the density matrix of mixed states. We show that our method can be applied to several physical systems where high quantum control can be experimentally achieved.  相似文献

提出了一种制备三光子纠缠W态的方案, 该方案利用携带轨道角动量为的光子(其中l可取(-∞, +∞)的任意整数)可构成无穷维向量空间的特性, 采用两种类型的参量下转换, 产生轨道角动量-自旋角动量纠缠的两对光子和一对偏振纠缠光子, 通过纠缠交换制备三光子多自由度的W态, 实现三光子体系纠缠的高维度、大容量量子信息处理. 方案采用q-plate相位光学器件和单模光纤等器件制备两个不同自由度(轨道角动量与偏振)混合的W态, 并利用计算机全息相位图改进方案制备三个不同自由度(轨道角动量、线动量和偏振)混合的W态. 本方案可稳定产生两种等概率互为对称的W态, 具有高维度、强纠缠特性与抗比特丢失能力, 信息量达log2m+2比特(ml的可取值个数), 有望实现可扩容量子比特的安全通信.  相似文献

The fact that spin–momentum of massive particles become entangled (disentangled) as seen by moving observers, is used to investigate the properties of von Neumann entropy, as a measure of spin–momentum entanglement. To do so, we partition the total Hilbert space into momentum and spin subspaces so that the entanglement occurs between total spin states and total momenta of two spin- $\frac{1}{2}$ particles. Assuming that the occurrence of spin–momentum states is determined by Gaussian probability distributions, we show that the degree of entanglement ascends for small rapidities, reaches a maximum and diminishes at high rapidity. We further report how the characteristics of this behaviour vary as the widths of distributions change. In particular, a separable state, resulting from equal distribution widths, indeed becomes entangled in moving frames.  相似文献
