The (constrained) canonical reduction of four-dimensional self-dual SU(2) and SU(3) Yang–Mills theory to two-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger (NS) and Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) equations are considered. The (4, 4*) ⊕ (4*, 4) model of broken chiral SU (4) × SU (4) symmetry has been used to calculate the third-order coupling constants involving charmed and ordinary pseudoscalar mesons. These coupling constants are exploited to derive some interesting new relations among the masses and decay constants of these charmed particles. Using the known masses and decay constants as inputs, we exploit these relations to predict:F D = −1·41F π ,F F = −1·13F π ,F D/FF = 1·25,m(D s) = 1·43 GeV,m(F s) = 1·39 GeV andm(K s) = 1·02 GeV.  相似文献

In order to remove some of the unsatisfactory features of the GIM model, we consider15-admixture in SU(4). ΔC=±ΔS decays remain unaffected. Lee-Sugawara sum-rule is obtained.15-admixture is extended then to63-admixture in SU(8). The most general Hamiltonian (H w637201232) in SU(8) is found to give Lee-Sugawara relation and Σ+ +=0 forS-wave decays of uncharmed baryons. Decay amplitude relations for ΔC=−1, ΔS=0 mode are obtained.  相似文献

The Hamiltonians of the SU(3) Gaudin model are constructed based on the nonrelativistic limit of the SU(3) chain.After the quantum determinant being well defined,the eigenvectors and eigenvalues of the Hamiltonians of the SU(3) Geudin model are given.These results can be generalized to any number of constituting spins (SU(N)).  相似文献

In this paper, we obtain the eigenstates and the eigenvalues of the Hamiltonians of the trigonometric SU(N) Gaudin model based on the quasi-classical limit of the trigonometric SU(N) chain with the periodic boundary condition. By using the quantum inverse scattering method, we also obtain the eigenvalues of the generating function of the trigonometric SU(N) Gaudin model.  相似文献

Sum rules for the coupling constants for D (20), B (20′) and P (16) are given taking into account first order breaking of SU (4) and SU (3) symmetries. The D (20) and B (20′) contain the usual 3/2+ baryon decuplet and 1/2+ baryon octet of SU (3), while the P (16) contains the usual pseudoscalar octet of pions, etc. These sum rules generalize the decuplet → octet + octet sum rules of broken SU (3 to a broken SU (4) symmetry scheme, in particular the charm SU (4) for hadrons. It is pointed out that, of the many sum rules, it may be possible to check some of them experimentally (see Section 5) and thus provide a test for an underlying SU (4 symmetry for strong interactions.  相似文献

The parity violating non-leptonic decays of hyperons and of charmed baryons are discussed in the framework of SU (8) symmetry. Several relations in addition to the ones obtained earlier by using SU (4) symmetry and20″-dominance, are obtained. The assumption of20″-dominance at the SU (4) level is no longer required for explaining the non-leptonic decays of 1/2+ baryons.  相似文献

We have constructed a new kind of two-mode bosonic realization of SU(1,1) Lie algebra, on the basis of which the SU(1,1) generalized coherent states in the two-mode Fock space are derived. These two-mode SU(1,1) coherent states, which are called uncorrelated two-mode SU(1,1) coherent states, include three special cases. For these states, we study the mean photon number distribution and their non-classical properties, which are photon anti-bunching, violations of Cauchy-Schwarz inequality and two-mode squeezing.  相似文献

We study solitons in a spin-1 Bose–Einstein condensates with SU(3) spin–orbit coupling. We obtain the ground state and the metastable solution for solitons with attractive interactions by the imaginary-time evolution method. Compared with the SU(2) spin–orbit coupling, it is found that the solitons in SU(3) spin–orbit coupling show a new feature due to breaking the symmetry. The solitons called the composite solitons have mixing manifolds of ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic states. This has stimulated people to study the topological excitation properties of SU(3) spin–orbit coupling and it is expected to find new quantum phases.  相似文献

We present the solution of the non-Abelian SU (3) Chern-Simons field theory defined in a generic three-manifold which is closed, connected and orientable. The surgery rules, which permit us to solve the theory, are derived and several examples of vacuum expectation values of Wilson line operators are computed. The three-manifold invariant associated with the non-Abelian SU (3) Chern-Simons model is defined and its values are computed for various three-manifolds.  相似文献

奇特重子属于味SU(3)的高维表示, 可以通过研究与其属于同一多重态的非奇特伴子来了解其性质. 本文研究了PDG粒子数据表中可能的27重态. 通过经典SU(3)方法所采用的质量拟合和两体强衰变部分宽度的计算预言出具有不同宇称的两套27重态. 质量谱的拟合预言了新的非奇特态Λ(1780), 其他非奇特伴子都能在PDG中找到候选者; 衰变宽度的计算结果表明存在近似味SU(3)对称性. 进一步分析和对比其他理论模型的研究结果可以支持27重态指定的合理性.  相似文献

Exact quantum states of the time-dependent quadratic Hamiltonian system are investigated using SU(1,1) Lie algebra. We realized SU(1,1) Lie algebra by defining appropriate SU(1,1) generators and derived exact wave functions using this algebra for the system. Raising and lowering operators of SU(1,1) Lie algebra expressed by multiplying a time-constant magnitude and a time-dependent phase factor. Two kinds of the SU(1,1) coherent states, i.e., even and odd coherent states and Perelomov coherent states are studied. We applied our result to the Caldirola–Kanai oscillator. The probability density of these coherent states for the Caldirola–Kanai oscillator converged to the center as time goes by, due to the damping constant γ. The DMRG method is applied to integrable models of antiferromagnetic spin chains for fundamental and higher representations of SU(2), SU(3), and SU(4). From the low energy spectrum and the entanglement entropy, we compute the central charge and the primary field scaling dimensions. These parameters allow us to identify uniquely the Wess–Zumino–Witten models capturing the low energy sectors of the models we consider.  相似文献

In this paper, spinor and vector decompositions of SU(2) gauge potential are presented and their equivalence is constructed using a simply proposal. We also obtain the action of Faddeev nonlinear 0(3) sigma model from the SU(2) mass/ve gauge field theory, which is proposed according to the gauge invariant principle. At last, the knot structure in SU(2) Chern-Simons filed theory is discussed in terms of the Φ-mapping topological current theory, The topological charge of the knot is characterized by the Hopf indices and the Brouwer degrees of Φ-mapping.  相似文献
