We obtain a formula for the Sobolev inner product in standard weighted Bergman spaces of holomorphic functions on a bounded symmetric domain in terms of the Peter–Weyl components in the Hua–Schmidt decomposition, and use it to clarify the relationship between the analytic continuation of these standard weighted Bergman spaces and the Sobolev spaces on bounded symmetric domains.  相似文献

Let be the future light cone in , and be the associated tube domain. We prove that the weighted Bergman projection is bounded on for , where Q denotes the Lorentz quadratic form. This theorem extends previous results by Bekollé and Bonami [BB]. Our proof relies on the analysis of the projection on mixed norm spaces, which allows us to exploit the oscillation of the Bergman kernel using the Laplace-Fourier transform. It is shown that a compact composition operator on a weighted Bergman space over a smoothly bounded strongly convex domain in n can have no angular derivative. Also, sufficient conditions for the boundedness and the compactness of composition operators defined on Hardy and weighted Bergman spaces are obtained, for situations in which each of the target spaces is enlarged in a natural way.  相似文献

We prove that any proper holomorphic mapping from to is necessarily a totally geodesic isometric embedding with respect to their Bergman metrics and therefore is the standard linear embedding up to their automorphisms. The proof of the main result in this paper will be achieved by a differential-geometric study of a special class of complex geodesic curves on the bounded symmetric domains with respect to their Bergman metrics. In this paper, we present algorithms of preorthogonal adaptive Fourier decomposition (POAFD) in weighted Bergman spaces. POAFD, as has been studied, gives rise to sparse approximations as linear combinations of the corresponding reproducing kernels. It is found that POAFD is unavailable in some weighted Hardy spaces that do not enjoy the boundary vanishing condition; as a result, the maximal selections of the parameters are not guaranteed. We overcome this difficulty with two strategies. One is to utilize the shift operator while the other is to perform weak POAFD. In the cases when the reproducing kernels are rational functions, POAFD provides rational approximations. This approximation method may be used to 1D signal processing. It is, in particular, effective to some Hardy Hp space functions for p not being equal to 2. Weighted Bergman spaces approximation may be used in system identification of discrete time‐varying systems. The promising effectiveness of the POAFD method in weighted Bergman spaces is confirmed by a set of experiments. A sequence of functions as models of the weighted Hardy spaces, being a wider class than the weighted Bergman spaces, are given, of which some are used to illustrate the algorithm and to evaluate its effectiveness over other Fourier type methods.  相似文献

This paper mainly concerns abelian von Neumann algebras generated by Toeplitz operators on weighted Bergman spaces. Recently a family of abelian w*-closed Toeplitz algebras has been obtained (see [5,6,7,8]). We show that this algebra is maximal abelian and is singly generated by a Toeplitz operator with a “common” symbol. A characterization for Toeplitz operators with radial symbols is obtained and generalized to the high dimensional case. We give several examples for abelian von Neumann algebras in the case of high dimensional weighted Bergman spaces, which are different from the one dimensional case.  相似文献

Weighted composition operators have been related to products of composition operators and their adjoints and to isometries of Hardy spaces. In this paper, Hermitian weighted composition operators on weighted Hardy spaces of the unit disk are studied. In particular, necessary conditions are provided for a weighted composition operator to be Hermitian on such spaces. On weighted Hardy spaces for which the kernel functions are ${(1 - \overline{w}z)^{-\kappa}}$ for κ ≥ 1, including the standard weight Bergman spaces, the Hermitian weighted composition operators are explicitly identified and their spectra and spectral decompositions are described. Some of these Hermitian operators are part of a family of closely related normal weighted composition operators. In addition, as a consequence of the properties of weighted composition operators, we compute the extremal functions for the subspaces associated with the usual atomic inner functions for these weighted Bergman spaces and we also get explicit formulas for the projections of the kernel functions on these subspaces.  相似文献

Using a geometric method, we characterize all entire functions that transform the Bloch space into a Bergman space by superposition in terms of their order and type. We also prove that all superposition operators induced by such entire functions act boundedly. Similar results hold for superpositions from BMOA into Bergman spaces and from the Bloch space into certain weighted Hardy spaces.  相似文献

We define Toeplitz operators on all Dirichlet spaces on the unit ball of and develop their basic properties. We characterize bounded, compact, and Schatten-class Toeplitz operators with positive symbols in terms of Carleson measures and Berezin transforms. Our results naturally extend those known for weighted Bergman spaces, a special case applies to the Arveson space, and we recover the classical Hardy-space Toeplitz operators in a limiting case; thus we unify the theory of Toeplitz operators on all these spaces. We apply our operators to a characterization of bounded, compact, and Schatten-class weighted composition operators on weighted Bergman spaces of the ball. We characterize the surjective isometries of a class of analytic functions on the disk which include the Analytic Besov spaceB p and the Dirichlet spaceD p . In the case ofB p we are able to determine the form of all linear isometries on this space. The isometries for these spaces are finite rank perturbations of integral operators. This is in contrast with the classical results for the Hardy and Bergman spaces where the isometries are represented as weighted compositions induced by inner functions or automorphisms of the disk.  相似文献

We study composition operators between weighted Bergman spaces. Certain growth conditions for generalized Nevanlinna counting functions of the inducing map are shown to be necessary and sufficient for such operators to be bounded or compact. Particular choices for the weights yield results on composition operators between the classical unweighted Bergman and Hardy spaces.
