In this paper, we first give the definition of possibly non-unital function system, which is a characterization of the self-adjoint subspace of the space of continuous functions on a compact Hausdorff space with the induced order and norm structure. Similar to operator system case, we define the unitalization of a possibly non-unital function system. Then we construct two possibly non-unital operator system structures on a given possibly non-unital function system, which are the analogues of minimal and maximal operator spaces on a normed space. These two structures have many interesting relations with the minimal and maximal operator system structures on a given function system.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate the stability properties of a general class of nonautonomous switched nonlinear systems. Sufficient conditions for uniform stability, uniform asymptotic stability and uniform exponential stability are derived via multiple Lyapunov functions. Our results provide stability criteria for switched systems with both stable and unstable subsystems. Particularly, our results include some existing results as special cases or improve those in the literature. Several numerical examples are worked out to illustrate our results.  相似文献

The uncertain linear systems with time-varying delays and limited measurable states variables are shown to have special configuration, called triangular configuration, to be stabilizable by means of state variable feedback controller. This paper presents a new methodology to design MIMO digitalPID controllers for multivariable analogue systems with computationalinput time-delay. The preliminarily designed analogue PID controlleris refined using a newly developed state-feedback and state-feedforwardLQR approach. The optimally designed closed-loop system withthe refined MIMO analogue PID controller has pre-assigned closed-loopeigenvalues. A prediction-based digital redesign technique isdeveloped to discretize the cascaded MIMO analogue PID controller,such that the states of the digitally redesigned closed-loopsampled-data system with the MIMO digital PID controller areclose to those of the analogously designed closed-loop systemwith the refined MIMO analogue PID controller. The aforementioneddigital redesign technique is further modified based on thepredictive control method to cope with MIMO analogue systemswith input delay.  相似文献

We are dealing with a two-component system of reaction-diffusion equations with conservation of a mass in a bounded domain subject to the Neumann or the periodic boundary conditions. We consider the case that the conserved system is transformed into a phase-field type system. Then the stationary problem is reduced to that of a scalar reaction-diffusion equation with a nonlocal term. We study the linearized eigenvalue problem of an equilibrium solution to the system, and compare the eigenvalues with ones of the linearized problem arising from the scalar nonlocal equation in terms of the Rayleigh quotient. The main theorem tells that the number of negative eigenvalues of those problems coincide. Hence, a stability result for nonconstant solutions of the scalar nonlocal reaction-diffusion equation is applicable to the system.  相似文献

A new chaotic system is found by feedback controlling method in this paper. According to the definition of the generalized Lorenz system, the new chaotic system does not belong to generalized Lorenz systems. We analyze the new system by means of phase portraits, Lyapunov exponents, fractional dimension, bifurcation diagram, and Poincaré map. The particular interest is that this novel system can generate two one‐scroll and one two‐scroll chaotic attractors with the variation of a single parameter. The obtained results show clearly that the system is a new chaotic system and deserves a further detailed investigation. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We start with a characterization of a pair of frames to be orthogonal in a shift-invariant space and then give a simple construction of a pair of orthogonal shift-invariant frames. This is applied to obtain a construction of a pair of Gabor orthogonal frames as an example. This is also developed further to obtain constructions of a pair of orthogonal wavelet frames.  相似文献

Phase‐type distribution closure properties are utilized to devise algorithms for generating reliability functions of systems with basic structures. These structures include series, parallel, K‐out‐of‐N, and standby structures with perfect/imperfect switch. The algorithms form a method for system reliability modeling and analysis based on the relationship between the system lifetime and component lifetimes for general structures. The proposed method is suitable for functional system reliability analysis, which can produce reliability functions of systems with independent components instead of only system reliability values. Once the system reliability function is obtained, other reliability measures such as the system's hazard function and mean time to failure can be obtained efficiently using only matrix algebra. Dimensional and numerical comparisons with computerized symbolic processing are also presented to show the superiority of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a lattice system of stochastic Zakharov equation with white noise. We first show that the solutions of the system determine a continuous random dynamical system with random absorbing set. And then we prove the random  asymptotic compact on the random absorbing set. In this article, a new homotopy perturbation method (NHPM) is introduced to obtain exact solutions of system of ODEs. Theoretical considerations are discussed. Comparison of the results of applying NHPM with those of homotopy perturbation method (HPM) and Adomia's decomposition method (ADM) leads to significant consequences.
