A new method based on solid-phase extraction (SPE) on-line coupled to gas chromatography-mass spectrometry through an on-column interface has been applied to determine three antifouling compounds in water samples. Parameters affecting the SPE process and transfer step have been optimised and the method developed has been applied to the analysis of marinas, fishing ports and Ebro river water. The method allows the analytes to be detected at 0.01 microgram l-1 in SIM acquisition mode by preconcentrating only 10 ml of water sample. Different marina and fishing port water samples have been analysed and Irgarol 1051 has been found in some of them at a concentration level equal or lower than 0.05 microgram l-1.  相似文献

Analytical methods have been developed for simultaneous determination of six different pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) (clofibric acid, ibuprofen, naproxen, ketoprofen, diclofenac, and triclosan), three endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs) (4-tert-octylphenol, 4-n-nonylphenol, and bisphenol A (BPA)) and one estrogenic compound (estrone) in soil matrix. The soils were extracted by different solvents with the help of an ultrasonic treatment at 42 kHz, followed by a solid phase extraction (SPE) as a cleanup procedure. The purified extracts were derivatized with N-methyl-N-(tert-butyldimethylsilyl) trifluoroacetamide (MTBSTFA) and then analyzed by GC-MSD (SIM mode). The method was evaluated by testing the following variables: initial spiking levels, extraction solvents, solvent volumes, and soil types (sandy and clay soils). For 5 g of soil, four successive extraction steps with the mixture of acetone-ethyl acetate provided satisfactory recoveries. In the sandy soil, the recoveries of all the compounds were from 63.8 to 110.7% for the spiking level of 100 ng/g dry soil, and from 52.2 to 108.2% for 5 ng/g dry soil, respectively. Result was similar for the clay soil. The precision across all recoveries was high, suggesting that this method has a good reproducibility. The method was successfully employed to soil samples collected from a golf course irrigated with reclaimed wastewater in southern California, and resulted in the detection of clofibric acid, ibuprofen, naproxen, triclosan, bisphenol A, and estrone at ng per gram dry weight concentration levels. The method is robust and simple, and provides straightforward analyses of these current-emerging trace organic pollutants in solid matrices.  相似文献

We have applied a method based on solid-phase extraction (SPE), on-line coupled to gas chromatography-mass spectrometry through an on-column interface, to determine a group of endocrine-disrupting compounds in water samples. We have optimised the parameters affecting the SPE process and transfer step and used the method to analyse river, coastal and tap waters. In the full-scan acquisition mode, all the compounds were determined by preconcentrating only 15 ml of water sample. Di-n-butyl phthalate, benzylbutyl phthalate, bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate and bis(2-ethylhexyl) adipate at concentrations between 0.02 and 0.5 microg l(-1) were determined in some real samples.  相似文献

采用固相萃取-气相色谱-质谱联用技术,建立了河水和海水中87种农药(24种有机磷、15种有机氯、12种唑类、9种拟除虫菊酯类、5种氨基甲酸酯类、7种酰胺类及15种其他新型农药)的多残留同时分析方法。优化了影响分离效果和灵敏度的仪器参数,考察了固相萃取柱柱型及水样体积、pH、盐度的影响,采用NH2柱优化了净化效果,内标法和替代物法用于数据的质量控制。结果表明: 在最佳条件下,各目标农药的方法检出限为0.1~6.6 ng/L;以实际河水和海水为基底,在5 ng/L和20 ng/L的加标水平下,绝大多数目标农药的回收率为60%~120%,相对标准偏差(n=4)为0.01%~9.7%。该法灵敏、准确,已成功地应用于福建九龙江河口区表层水样中多种类农药的复合污染监测,检出包括5种有机磷类、3种酰胺类、4种唑类、3种氨基甲酸酯类、2种拟除虫菊酯类等农药20种。  相似文献

With the renovation of Boston Harbor's Deer Island wastewater treatment plant and the extension of its diffuser pipes 15 km further into Massachusetts Bay, there arose the question whether the increased load of its secondary-treated wastewater contained significant amounts of phenolic endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). Sampling from an oceanographic research vessel during the summers of 2003 and 2004 allowed for a unique opportunity to obtain clam, zooplankton, and bottom sediment samples. The samples were prepared by enhanced organic-solvent microwave digestion, followed by solid-phase extraction (SPE), derivatization and then analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) or left un-derivatized and analyzed by LC-UV and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). The marine samples, especially parts of the clams, zooplankton and certain bottom sediments were found to contain primarily bisphenol A (BPA) at concentrations of 1-30 ng/g.  相似文献

A method is described for simultaneous determination of semivolatile organic compounds (SVOCs) in indoor air by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The selected 73 SVOCs were collected using combined adsorbents (quartz fiber filter disk and Empore disk) for 24 h at a 5.0 l/min flow rate. The SVOCs collected were extracted with acetone, concentrated, then analyzed by an internal standard method. Forty compounds (19 plasticizers and flame retardants; 19 insecticides; 1 synergist; and 1 fungicide) among the target SVOCs were determined accurately and precisely. The method of detection limits for these compounds were approximately 0.5 ng/m3 for most of the SVOCs. The collected SVOC samples could be stored for up to 1 month at 4 C in the refrigerator.  相似文献

An integrated analytical method for the simultaneous determination of 4-n-nonylphenol (4-n-NP), nonylphenol monoethoxylate (NP1EO), nonylphenol diethoxylate (NP2EO), bisphenol A (BPA) and triclosan (TCS) in wastewater (dissolved and particulate phase) and sewage sludge was developed based on gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Chromatographic analysis was achieved after derivatization with bis(trimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide (BSTFA). Extraction from water samples was performed by solid-phase extraction (SPE). The optimization of SPE procedure included the type of sorbent and the type of the organic solvent used for the elution. Referred to solid samples, the target compounds were extracted by sonication. In this case the optimization of the extraction procedure included the variation of the amount of the extracted biomass, the duration and the temperature of sonication and the type of the extraction organic solvent. The developed extraction procedures resulted in good repeatability and reproducibility with relative standard deviations (RSDs) less than 13% for all the tested compounds for both types of samples. Satisfactory recoveries were obtained (>60%) for all the compounds in both liquid and solid samples, except for 4-n-NP, which gave recoveries up to 35% in wastewater samples and up to 63% in sludge samples. The limits of detection (LODs) of the target compounds varied from 0.03 (4-n-NP) to 0.41 microg l(-1) (NP2EO) and from 0.04 (4-n-NP) to 0.96 microg kg(-1) (NP2EO) for liquid and solid samples, respectively. The developed methods were successfully applied to the analysis of the target compounds in real samples.  相似文献

A solid-phase extraction (SPE) followed by liquid chromatography-electrospray ionisation tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS-MS) method was developed and validated for simultaneous analysis of 11 pharmaceutical residues (propranolol, sulfamethoxazole, meberverine, thioridazine, carbamazepine, tamoxifen, mecoprop, indomethacine, diclofenac, meclofenamic acid and monensin) in environmental water samples. The collision energy chosen for the multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) experiment was optimised. A number of parameters that may affect the recovery of the pharmaceuticals, such as the type of SPE cartridges, eluents, as well as water properties including pH value, salinity and concentration of colloid and surfactant were investigated. It is shown that the Oasis HLB SPE cartridge produced the best recoveries of the target pharmaceuticals while methanol was efficient in eluting pharmaceuticals from SPE cartridges. The recovery of some target compounds was enhanced with increasing salinity, but reduced by increasing pH value, and unaffected by surfactant concentration (0-10 microg/l). The recovery of most compounds was slightly increased by the presence of colloids (0-10 mg/l), which however caused a reduction in recovery for sulfamethoxazole and meberverine. The optimised method was further verified by performing spiking experiments in river water and seawater matrices, with good recovery and reproducibility for all except two compounds. The established method was successfully applied to environmental water samples from East Sussex, UK, for the determination of the target pharmaceuticals.  相似文献

We describe a solid-phase extraction (SPE) method, followed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), for the simultaneous determination of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in sheep serum samples. The denaturation of serum proteins by formic acid, water-1-propanol and water-2-propanol were compared and optimized. Seven different solid-phase sorbents were tested and it was found that Strata-X cartridge (200 mg, 6 mL) gave the best recoveries (92-106%, SD < 6%, n = 3) for all the target analytes. The different extraction solvents (iso-hexane and dichloromethane), either alone or in combination, were used to extract these persistent organic compounds from spiked serum samples by SPE. Removal of co-extracted biogenic materials was achieved using adsorption chromatography with acid modified silica and activated silica. Iso-hexane was found to be the most appropriate solvent for clean-up providing good recoveries and clear chromatographic separation; its use is preferable to that of DCM because it is less environmentally toxic. The limits of detection (LOD) of the proposed method were 47-105 pg g−1 and 16-24 pg g−1 for the different PBDEs and PCBs studied, respectively. The developed method was linear over the range from 0.05 to 30 ng g−1, for all PBDEs except PBDE 183 (0.10-30 ng g−1), and from 0.02 to 30 ng g−1 for all tested PCB congeners. The established method was successfully applied to sheep serum samples from Scotland, UK, for the determination of the target PBDEs and PCBs.  相似文献

Estradiol, testosterone, progesterone, zeranol and diethylstilbestrol including estradiol metabolites were determined simultaneously in meat. Extraction of growth hormones was carried out by ultasonication using a methanol-water mixture. The growth hormones in the meat extract can be effectively separated from lipids by freezing-lipid filtration, followed by C8-solid phase extraction (SPE). During freezing-lipid filtration, about 90% of lipids are removed without any significant loss of growth hormones. For further clean-up, silica- and aminopropyl-SPE were used. To enhance detection sensitivity, the growth hormones are derivatized with trimethylsilyl reagents. Quantitation using isotope-labelled internal standards was performed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry in the selected ion monitoring mode. The method detection limits were 0.1-0.4 microg/kg for all growth hormones. Overall recoveries of synthetic and natural growth hormones were 68-106% with coefficients of variation of 5-16% for the complete procedure.  相似文献

采用固相萃取-气相色谱-质谱联用技术,建立了水体中9种药品及个人护理用品(水杨酸、萘普生、布洛芬、对乙酰氨基酚、降固醇酸、三氯生、双氯酚酸、酮洛芬和双酚A)的定量分析方法。水样品经稀盐酸调节至pH=3后,采用Oasis HLB固相萃取小柱进行富集净化;选用三甲基氢氧化硫(TMSH)为衍生化试剂,在常温条件下对目标物进行快速甲基化;以气相色谱-质谱法选择离子监测模式(GC-MS-SIM)进行检测,由2,4,5-涕丙酸为内标进行定量分析。本实验分别对固相萃取和衍生化等前处理条件进行了系统的研究。在优化的实验条件下,方法的回收率为50.7~115.4%,相对标准偏差均不高于10%,检出限为0.03~0.30 μg/L,定量限为0.15~1.50 μg/L。利用该方法对东莞市某农田灌溉水进行了分析,4种目标物在样品中有检出,最大质量浓度范围为0.176~0.998 μg/L。结果表明该方法操作简便,灵敏可靠。  相似文献

An automated system for derivaatization was coupled on-line with solid-phase extraction-gas-chromatography (SPE-GC). The system was optimized for the determination of phenol and chlorinated phenols in aqueous samples. The test analytes were acetylated with acetic anhydride; proper buffering of the sample was a critical factor. Next, the phenol acetates were enriched on a SPE cartridge and transferred to a GC; two appraoaches were studied. In the first approach, the derivatives were enriched on disposable C18 cartridges (ASPEC type) and desorbed with methylacetate. Aan aliquot of the final eluate was injected on-line the GC by means of a loop-type interface. In the second approach, trace enrichment was performed on 10 × 2 mm i.d. LC-type precolumn packed with polystyrenedivinylbenzene copolymer (PLRP-S) this precolumn was dried with a mitrogen purge and the phenol acetates were desorbed with ethyl acetate which was injectedon-line into the retention gap of the GC under partially concurrent solvent evaporation (PCSE) conditions. The Derivatization-SPE-GC system which was based on the loop-type interface has the advantage of simplicity and easy operation, the main drawback is the impossibility to determine phenol acetates which elute prior to trichlorophenol acetates. With the derivatization-SPE-GC approach using PCSE-based desorption, even the most volatile analyte of the test series, phenol acetate, can be determined successfully. The entire procedure, including the derivatization step, was fully automated and integrated in one set-up. The precision data for the integrated on-line derivatization-SP-FID system were fully satisfactory, with RSD values of 1–12 % at the 1 μg/1 level. When a sample volume of 2.2 ml was analyzed, The detection limits for the chlorinated phenol acetates were in the 0.1–0.3 μg/1 range.  相似文献

This article presents an analytical method based on solid-phase extraction (SPE) and gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry for the simultaneous determination of the most frequently used acidic pharmaceutical residues, ibuprofen, diclofenac, naproxen and ketoprofen (KFN), and phenolic endocrine disruptors, bisphenol (BPA), triclosan (TCS), nonylphenol, nonylphenol monoethoxylate and nonylphenol diethoxylate, in wastewater and sewage sludge samples. In the first phase of the study, each compound has been characterized individually and afterwards in mixture as a trimethylsilyl derivative in order to identify the characteristic ions (m/z ratio) constituting the mass spectrum and to choose the ions for quantification and confirmation. Subsequently, derivatization was evaluated by testing different variables such as the volume of the derivatization solvent bis(trimethylsilyl)trifluoroacetamide and the effect of each catalyst, pyridine and 1% trimethyl chlorosilane, in the derivatized solution. For the analysis of wastewater samples, two commercial SPE cartridges, C18 and Oasis HLB, were compared for their extraction efficiency of the target compounds. The key parameter of extraction procedure included the effect of pH (2.5, 5.3 and 7) of the loading solution. For solid samples, parameters such as the extracted biomass, the volume of the extraction organic solvent and the effect of matrix interferences in chromatographic analysis were evaluated. By using C18 cartridges as purification procedure and ultrasound sonication, satisfactory mean relative recoveries with BPA-d16 and meclofenamic acid as surrogates were obtained ranging from 91% to 117% for wastewater and 84% to 107% for sewage sludge samples. Nine-point calibration of the standard mixture was performed by linear regression analysis with a correlation coefficient >0.99 for all the tested compounds. Limits of detection for the developed methods were established between 0.3 (KFN) and 14.8 (BPA) ng L−1, and 15.0 (TCS) and 32.9 (BPA) ng g−1 for wastewater and sewage sludge, respectively. Application to real samples of the wastewater treatment plant in Athens, the capital of Greece, demonstrated the presence of all tested compounds in most of the samples.  相似文献

A method for the simultaneous measurement of trace amounts of phenolic xenoestrogens, such as 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP), 4-tert-butyl-phenol (BP), 4-tert-octylphenol (OP), 4-nonylphenol (NP), pentachlorophenol (PCP) and bisphenol A (BPA), in water samples was developed using stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE) with in situ derivatization followed by thermal desorption (TD)-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis. The conditions for derivatization with acetic acid anhydride were investigated. A polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS)-coated stir bar and derivatization reagents were added to 10 ml of water sample and stirring was commenced for 10-180 min at room temperature (25 degrees C) in a headspace vial. Then, the extract was analyzed by TD-GC-MS. The optimum time for SBSE with in situ derivatization was 90 min. The detection limits of 2,4-DCP, BP, OP, NP, PCP and BPA were 2, 1, 0.5, 5, 2 and 2 pg ml(-1), respectively. The method showed good linearity over the concentration ranges of 10, 5, 2, 20, 10 and 10-1000 pg ml(-1) for 2,4-DCP, BP, OP, NP, PCP and BPA, respectively, and the correlation coefficients were higher than 0.99. The average recoveries of those compounds in river water samples were equal to or higher than 93.9% (R.S.D. <7.2%) with correction using the added surrogate standards. This simple, accurate, sensitive and selective method can be used in the determination of trace amounts of phenolic xenoestrogens in river water samples.  相似文献

Gas chromatography with simultaneous flame-ionization detection (FID) and a nitrogen-phosphorus detection (NPD) as well as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS) has been used to characterize long-chain primary alkyl amines after derivatization with trifluoroacetic anhydride (TFAA). Electron impact ionization- (EI) and negative chemical ionization (NCI) mass spectra of trifluoroacetylated derivatives of the identified tert-octadecylamines are presented for the first time. The corrosion inhibiting alkyl amines were applied in a water-steam circuit of energy systems in the power industry. Solid-phase extraction (SPE) with octadecyl bonded silica (C18) sorbents followed by gas chromatography were used for quantification of the investigated tert-octadecylamines in boiler water, superheated steam and condensate samples from the power plant. The estimated values were: 89 microg l(-1)(n = 5, RSD = 7.8%), 45 microg l(-1) (n = 5, RSD = 5.4%) and 37 microg l(-1)(n = 5, RSD = 2.3%), respectively.  相似文献

Volatile compounds are responsible for the aromas of butter. A simple technique for the determination of these components is described which is based on solid-phase extraction (SPE) after melting of the butter and separation of the aqueous phase from the fat. Volatile flavours present in the water fraction are collected by off-line SPE on cartidges packed with a copolymer sorbent. After desorption with 500 microliters of methyl acetate, 1-microliter aliquots are quantified and/or identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. The procedure was tested with respect to recovery, linearity and limit of detection in real-life samples using five polar model analytes. It allows the characterisation of polar flavour compounds in butter prior to and after heat treatment at 170 degrees C. From the five model compounds, vanillin, traces of diacetyl and maltol were found to be present in the butter samples. After heat treatment 500-1000-fold increased concentration of maltol, and substantial amounts of furaneol were detected.  相似文献

The gas chromatography/mass spectrometric assay method was developed for the determination of 13 non‐steroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in river water. Extraction was achieved by a liquid‐phase extraction procedure using methylene chloride. The extract was reacted for 30 min at 80°C based on the formation of methyl ester with 1.0 M HCl in methanol and extraction of the derivative with ethyl acetate, which was then measured by gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry. The limit of quantification of NSAIDs was 1.0–60 ng/L and the calibration curve showed linearity being greater than r=0.997. The method was used to analyze ten river water samples from various regions in Korea. Diclofenac, indoprofen, ketoprofen and loxoprofen were detected at concentration of up to 1.29 μg/L in river water. The developed method may prove valuable for use in the national monitoring project of NSAIDs in surface water.  相似文献

建立了高效液相色谱-三重四极杆质谱(HPLC-QqQ MS)联用定量分析烟草中5种Amadori前香物质的方法。样品经含5%(v/v)甲醇的水提取后,采用Waters XBridgeTM Amide色谱柱(250 mm×4.6 mm,3.5 μm)、以甲醇-水为流动相进行分离,采用多反应监测(MRM)模式测定烟草样品中5种Amadori化合物的含量。结果表明,5种Amadori化合物的峰面积与质量浓度的线性关系良好,相关系数r为0.9895~0.9989;定量限(S/N=10)在10.18~44.58 μg/L,检出限(S/N=3)在3.51~14.86 μg/L;平均加标回收率为92.6%~123.6%,相对标准偏差(RSD)小于9.4%。本方法操作简便、灵敏度高、分析速度快,可以用于烟叶及卷烟中5种主要Amadori类物质的含量测定。  相似文献

A novel method has been developed to simultaneously determine and quantify seven organic UV filters employing liquid (solid)-liquid extraction, derivatization with N-methyl-N-(trimethylsilyl) trifluoroacetamide (MSTFA) and gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection in various environmental matrices. The UV filters determined were: benzophenone (BP), benzhydrol (BH), 4-hydroxybenzophenone (HBP), 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone (HMB), 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone (DHB), 2,2'-dihydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone (DHMB) and 2,3,4-trihydroxylbenzophenone (THB). Under optimal conditions, the analysis required 23 min and good linearity over the range of 10-2,500 ng/L in water and 100-25,000 ng/kg in soil for each UV filter obtained. The high recovery (62-114% and 60-125% for water and soil samples, respectively) and the low RSD values (less than 13.9 and 17.2% for water and soil samples, respectively) indicated the high performance of this method. The method detection limits (MDLs) were relatively low, ranging from 5 to 100 ng/L or kg and quantification limits ranged between 25 and 500 ng/L or kg for all test compounds. This validated method was applied in the analysis of seven BP-type UV filters collecting water and soil samples in Korea, between April and May 2003. The overall concentration of UV filters in the soil sample (500-18,380 ng/kg) was highly distributed in water sample (27-204 ng/L). The established method was successfully applied to monitor the residue measurement of the BP-type UV filters in environmental water and soil samples.  相似文献
