In this paper, we report a systematic study of the dielectric relaxation spectroscopy of biodegradable poly(3-hydroxybutyrate-co-3-hydroxyhexanoate) (PHBHHx) polyester which has potential applications as a “green” dielectric material in electronic devices. The dielectric spectra was measured over a wide frequency range (100  107 Hz) from ?100 to 60 °C. A glass and a sub-glass transition relaxations were observed in the dielectric spectra of PHBHHx. In addition, a nearly constant loss behavior was found by analyzing the dielectric and conductivity spectra.  相似文献

Composite polymer electrolytes based on poly(ethylene oxide)-polysiloxane/l-butyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide/organomontmorillonite(PEO-PDMS/1L/OMMT) were prepared and characterized.Addition of both an ionic liquid and OMMT to the polymer base of PEO-PDMS resulted in an increase in ionic conductivity.At room temperature,the ionic conductivity of sample PPB100-OMMT4 was 2.19×10~3 S/cm.The composite polymer electrolyte also exhibited high thermal and electrochemical stability and may potentially be applied in lithium batteries.  相似文献

Potentially useful conducting polymers of sulfonyl substituted phenanthrene derivatives and non-conducting linear polymers, such as, polystyrene and poly(N-vinylcarbazole) have been synthesized and characterized using IR, thermogravimetric and dielectric measurements. The phenanthrene-based benzene, naphthalene and biphenyl copolysulfones have also been prepared and characterized through these techniques. These pendant and backbone polymer sulfones have exceptionally high thermal stability and electrical conductivity, such that dc conductivity in the range 2.80 × 10?16 to 2.82 × 10?7 Ω?1 cm?1 and ac conductivity in the range 1.69 × 10?7 to 2.10 × 10?6 Ω?1 cm?1.  相似文献

The need for the development of polymeric materials based on renewable resources has led to the development of poly(lactic acid) (PLA) which is being produced from a feedstock of corn rather than petroleum. The present study examines the permeation of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and methane in amorphous films of PLA cast from solution. The properties of PLA are compared to other commodity plastics and it is shown that PLA permeation closely resembles that of polystyrene. At 30°C, N2 permeation in PLA is 1.3 (10−10 cm3 (STP) cm/cm2 s cmHg) and the activation energy is 11.2 kJ/mol. For oxygen the corresponding values are 3.3 (10−10 cm3(STP) cm/cm2 s cm Hg) and 11.1 kJ/mol. The values for carbon dioxide permeation are 1.2 (10−10 cm3 (STP) cm/cm2 s cmHg) and 6.1 kJ/mol. For methane values of 1.0 (10−10 cm3 (STP) cm/cm2 s cmHg) and an activation energy of 13.0 kJ/mol are found. Studies with pure gases show that polymer chain branching and small changes in l:d stereochemical content have no effect on permeation properties. Crystallinity is found to dominate permeation properties in a biaxially oriented film. The separation factor for a CO2/CH4 mixed gas system is measured between 0 and 50°C and does not deviate significantly from the calculated ideal separation factor; at 0°C the separation factor is 16, a value that suggests continued studies of PLA as a separation medium are warranted.  相似文献

A kind of octanol-modifded silica nanoparticle was fabricated and employed as a framework to form‘‘soggy sand’’electrolyte along with 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate.‘‘Soggy sand’’and poly(vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene)composite electrolyte membranes were electrospun for the frst time.The properties of this membrane electrolyte have been evaluated by the mechanical test and electrochemical test.The Young’s modulus increased by 275%from 6.8 MPa to 25.5 MPa and the electrical conductivity increased to 7.6 10à5S/cm at 290.15 K when compared to pristine P(VdF-HFP)membrane electrolyte.The conductivity is 3.1 10à4S/cm at 323.15 K.  相似文献

Hot-pressed zirconium diboride (ZrB2) matrix composites containing 0–30 vol% silicon carbide (SiC) whiskers have been investigated to determine the effect of composition (i.e. amount of SiC whiskers) on the microstructure, mechanical properties and thermal properties. With increasing SiC whisker volume contents, the flexural strength and fracture toughness of the composites were improved compared to those of monolithic ZrB2. Flexural strength increased from 629 MPa for pure ZrB2 to 767 MPa for ZrB2–30 vol%SiCw. Likewise, fracture toughness ranged from 5.4 to 7.1 MPa m1/2 over the same composition range. Specific heat capacity increased with SiC whisker addition, while thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity decreased slightly with the increase of SiC whisker content.  相似文献

Polymer matrix composites, based on brominated epoxy, a type of material widely used in printed circuit boards (PCBs), as matrix and AlN particle as filler were prepared. The influences of AlN content on the mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties of the composites were investigated by uniaxial tensile test, TMA, thermal conductivity measurement, DMA, and dielectric properties measurement. It was found that the properties of composites monotonically varied with AlN content except that maximum tensile strength and strain of composites corresponded to a filler content of 10 wt %. The results of DMA also showed the AlN reinforcement was more pronounced above Tg, and the peak area of tan δ versus T curves decreased with AlN content, which implied the damping capacity of the composite gradually decreased. The increase in Tg and decrease in damping were probably due to strong interaction between the AlN and epoxy matrix inhibiting the mobility of the epoxy chain. In addition, different theoretical models reported in the literature were used to predict the E, CTE, k, and Dk, and compared with the experimental data. Finally, suitable models were recommended in the present materials system. For the significant improvement of performance of epoxy, we can conclude that these composite materials may be promising for PCB substrate. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Cu nanoclusters were electrochemically deposited on the film of a Nafion-solubilized multi-wall carbon nanotubes (CNTs) modified glassy carbon electrode (CNTs-GCE), which fabricated a Cu-CNTs composite sensor (Cu-CNTs-GCE) to detect glucose with non-enzyme. The linear range is 7.0×10-7 to 3.5×10-3 mol/L with a high sensitivity of 17.76μA/(mmol L), with a low detection limit 2.1×10-7 mol/L, fast response time (within 5 s), good reproducibility and stability.  相似文献

Alumina particles were incorporated in poly(dimethyl siloxane) (PDMS) matrix in company with multiwalled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) for improving the thermal and electrical conductivities. The concentration of MWCNT was increased from 0 to 10 wt% to PDMS at fixed amounts of alumina (200 and 300 wt% to PDMS). Thermal conductivity of PDMS composites was increased with the increasing amount of MWCNT and the excellent dispersibility of the incorporated pristine MWCNT was achieved. Thermal and electrical conductivities of the composites were increased with the increasing concentration of the alumina because the alumina particles help disperse MWCNT within the PDMS matrix due to the ball milling effect during compounding. The properties of the alumina and MWCNT incorporated PDMS composites were investigated in terms of the curing characteristics, electrical conductivity, and thermal conductivity. The MWCNT/alumina incorporated composite showed the high electrical conductivity to the level of the semiconductor.  相似文献

The characteristics,performance and application of membrane electrode based on ion associate of diclofenac with base dye Safranine T are described.The electrode response to diclofenac has the sensitivity of 47±1.0 mV decade~(-1)over the range of 5×10~(-5)to 5×10~(-2)mol/L at pH 6-12,and the detection limit of 3.2×10~(-5)mol/L.The electrode is easy assembled at a relatively low cost has fast response time(2-4 s)and can be used for a period up to 3.5 months without any considerable divergence in potential.The proposed sensor displayed good selectivity for diclofenac in the presence of different substances.It was used to determine diclofenac in pharmaceuticals by means of the standard addition method.  相似文献

The dark AC conductivity and dielectric properties of thermally evaporated 2-(2,3-dihydro-1,5-dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-ylimino)-2-(4-nitrophenyl)acetonitrile (DOPNA) thin films in sandwich structure employing symmetrical gold ohmic contacts have been investigated as function of temperature (303–443 K) and frequency (100 Hz–5 MHz). The AC conductivity, σAC(ω), is found to obey Jonscher’s universal power law, σAC(ω)=s (ω is the angular frequency). The AC conductivity of DOPNA thin films has been analyzed with reference to various theoretical models. The correlated barrier hopping is found to be the dominant conduction mechanism for charge carrier transport; the maximum barrier height, hopping length and the density of localized states are estimated. The temperature dependence of the AC conductivity shows Arrhenius type with two thermal activation energies. The activation energies are determined as a function of frequency. The behavior of the real and imaginary parts of the dielectric constant as a function of both temperature and frequency is discussed.  相似文献

In this work, hybrid magnetic amphiphilic composites were prepared by the catalytic growth of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and nanofibers CNF on layered silicates fragments. SEM, TEM, Raman, XRD, Mössbauer, TG/DTA showed that CVD with CH4 at 800 °C produced CNF and magnetic Fe cores fixed on the surface of microfragments of silicates layers. Due to the amphiphilic character, the composites can be easily dispersed in water and efficiently adsorb hydrophobic contaminant molecules. For example, the composites showed remarkable adsorption capacities for the hormone ethinylestradiol, e.g. 2–4 mg m?2, compared to ca. 0.1 mg m?2 obtained for high surface area activated carbon and multiwall CNT. These results are discussed in terms of a high hydrophobic exposed surface area of the CNT and CNF fixed on the layered silicates fragments surface. Moreover, the composites can be easily removed from water by a simple magnetic separation process.  相似文献

The large size 20 mm diameter naphthalene single crystals were grown by modified vertical Bridgman method. The optical quality of the grown crystal was analyzed by photoluminescence and ultraviolet visible absorption spectral measurements. Photoluminescence spectrum indicated violet emission at 410 nm. The UV–vis absorption spectrum shows the maximum at 219.32 nm. The microhardness measurements and differential thermal analysis performed to analyze the mechanical and thermal stability of the as grown crystals. The dielectric measurements were carried out at five frequencies, viz., 100 Hz, 1 kHz, 10 kHz, 100 kHz and 1 MHz and at various temperatures, ranging from 308 K to 348 K indicate an increase of the dielectric parameters with the increase of temperature at all the five frequencies. The conductivity of the material is understood to be more of electronic in nature. Also, the increase in the dielectric parameters with that of temperature is due to the temperature variation of electronic polarizability.  相似文献

In this work, a new biosensor was prepared through immobilization of bovine liver catalase in a photoreticulated poly (vinyl alcohol) membrane at the surface of a conductometric transducer. This biosensor was used to study the kinetics of catalase–H202 reaction and its inhibition by cyanide. Immobilized catalase exhibited a Michaelis–Menten behaviour at low H202 concentrations (< 100 mM) with apparent constant KMapp = 84 ± 3 mM and maximal initial velocity VMapp = 13.4 μS min? 1. Inhibition by cyanide was found to be non-competitive and inhibition binding constant Ki was 13.9 ± 0.3 μM. The decrease of the biosensor response by increasing cyanide concentration was linear up to 50 μM, with a cyanide detection limit of 6 μM. In parallel, electrochemical characteristics of the catalase/PVA biomembrane and its interaction with cyanide were studied by cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy. Addition of the biomembrane onto the gold electrodes induced a significant increase of the interfacial polarization resistance RP. On the contrary, cyanide binding resulted in a decrease of Rp proportional to KCN concentration in the 4 to 50 μM range. Inhibition coefficient I50 calculated by this powerful label-free and substrate-free technique (24.3 μM) was in good agreement with that determined from the substrate-dependent conductometric biosensor (24.9 μM).  相似文献

Electrode impedance is a significant artifact in low frequency dielectric measurements involving conducting media. In their recent review article regarding the dielectric dispersion of aqueous colloidal systems, Grosse and Delgado [1] presented an electrode polarization model that provides a physical explanation of the effect of electrolyte concentration and mobility, electrode spacing, and frequency. Although the model properly predicts the undesired phenomenon, the low frequency scaling, often used to identify electrode polarization effects, is incorrect. The apparent dielectric constant actually follows an ω? 2 frequency dependence for ω/κ2D ? 1, where κ? 1 is the Debye length and D is an average ion diffusion coefficient. Strictly speaking, the predicted scaling with exponent ? 1.5 is applicable only for sufficiently high frequencies, where electrode polarization is insignificant. This letter is intended to help clarify matters: the asymptotic behavior of the polarization model is examined, and the approximate expressions representing the real part of the complex dielectric constant of a parallel plate cell containing electrolyte solutions or colloidal suspensions are discussed.  相似文献

In terms of the reaction of CO_2 reduction to CO with hydrogen, CO_2 conversion is very low at low temperature due to the limitation of thermodynamic equilibrium(TE). To overcome this limitation, plasma catalytic reduction of CO_2 to CO in a catalyst-filled dielectric barrier discharge(DBD) reactor is studied. An enhanced effect of plasma on the reaction over Au/CeO_2 catalysts is observed. For both the conventionally catalytic(CC) and plasma catalytic(PC, Pin= 15 W) reactions under conditions of 400 °C, H_2/CO_2= 1,200 SCCM, GHSV = 12,000 mL·g~(-1)cat·h~(-1), CO_2 conversions over Au/CeO_2 reach 15.4% and 25.5% due to the presence of Au, respectively, however, those over CeO_2 are extremely low and negligible. Moreover,CO_2 conversion over Au/CeO_2 in the PC reaction exceeds 22.4% of the TE conversion. Surface intermediate species formed on the catalyst samples during the reactions are determined by in-situ temperatureprogrammed decomposition(TPD) technique. Interestingly, it disclosed that in the PC reaction, the formation of formate intermediate is enhanced by plasma, and the acceleration by plasma in the decomposition of formate species is much greater than that in the formation of formate species on Au/CeO_2. Enhancement factor is introduced to quantify the enhanced effect of plasma. Lower reactor temperature, higher gas hourly space velocity(GHSV), and lower molar ratio of H_2/CO_2 would be associated with larger enhancement factor.  相似文献

Based on the fact that some metal ions can catalyze the chemiluminescence(CL)reaction of luminol with K_3Fe(CN)_6,a novel capillary electrophoresis CL method was developed for the determination of Co(Ⅱ)and Cu(Ⅱ).The separation was carried out with a 10 mmol/L sodium acetate solution containing 0.8 mmol/L luminol and 2.0 mmol/Lα-HIBA(adjusted to pH 4.8 by HAc solution).The post-capillary reagent was 2.0 mmol/L K_3Fe(CN)_6 which was adjusted to pH 13.0 by NaOH solution.Under the optimum conditions,the detection limits(S/N=3)for Co(Ⅱ)and Cu(Ⅱ)were 7.5×10~(-11)mol/L and 7.5×10~(-9)mol/L,with the linear range of 7.5×10~(-9)mol/L to 1.0×10~(-6)mol/L and 7.5×10~(-8)mol/L to 5.0×10~(-5)mol/L, respectively.  相似文献

Thermoplastic polyurethane composites with an excellent dielectric constant and high thermal conductivity were obtained using CNT@BaTiO3 as a filler through a low-speed melt extrusion method. Before preparing the hybrid filler for the composite, the filler particles were surface modified to ensure that the outer surfaces could facilitate the reaction among particles to form the hybrid and ensure complete dispersion in the thermoplastic polyurethane matrix. After confirming the proper surface treatment of the filler particles using infrared spectroscopy, thermal degradation analysis and field emission scanning electron microscopy, they were used to prepare the composite materials at a processing temperature of 200 °C. The thermal stability, thermomechanical properties, mechanical properties, thermal conductivity, and dielectric properties of the composites were investigated. Compared to the neat thermoplastic polyurethane matrix, the prepared composite exhibited a higher thermal stability, approximately 300% higher storage modulus, higher tensile strength and elongation at break values, approximately three times higher thermal conductivity (improved from 0.19 W/(m.K) to 0.38 W/(m.K), and approximately five times larger dielectric constant at high frequencies (at 1 MHz a dielectric constant of 19.2 was obtained).  相似文献
