Poly(4-vinylpyridine)(P4-VP) nanofiber and fluoresent poly(4-vinylpyridine)/porphyrin(P4-VP/TPPA) nanofiber were respectively prepared by electrospinning. The effect of the concentration of P4-VP/dimethylformamide (DMF) electrospinning solutions on the morphology of P4-VP nanofiber was investigated and it was found that the average diameter of the nanofiber of P4-VP/DMF increased with the increase of the concentration of the spinning solution. After the addition of TPPA to the P4-VP/DMF spinning solution, the diameter of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber became even due to the increase of the conductivity of the P4-VP/DMF-TPPA solution. The photoluminescent(PL) spectral analysis indicates that the emission peak position of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber is almost the same as that of pure TPPA at about 650 nm without peak shift, and when it was stored for 20 days, the emission peak of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber is also at 650 nm, indicating that the fluorescent property of P4-VP/TPPA nanofiber is stable. Fourier-transform iufrared(FTIR) spectrum confirms the chemical composition of the resulting P4-VP/TPPA composite nanofiber.  相似文献

Eight cross-linked poly(4-vinylpyridine/styrene) (P/S) resins (as beads) were prepared by radical suspension polymerization. Ytterbium triflate was immobilized in the range of 0.10-0.24 mmol/g by mixing with the P/S resins. The ytterbium triflate-immobilized P/S resins exhibited good activity in two Lewis acid-catalyzed reactions. Low pyridine containing resins were recycled with no loss of activity, while a slight loss of activity was observed with the higher pyridine containing resins.  相似文献

The effect of poly(4-vinylpyridine) (PVP) on the methanolysis of methyl bromide and methylene bromide was studied at temperatures between 75 °C and 125 °C. PVP acts as an efficient HBr scavenger promoting the formation of dimethyl ether (DME) and dimethoxymethane (DMM) from the corresponding bromomethanes and methanol in moderate yields with high selectivity. No reaction was observed in the absence of PVP under the conditions adopted. The activity of the catalyst remained unchanged even after five cycles showing the efficacy and application of the polymer as an environmentally green reagent as well as catalyst in this methanolysis reaction.  相似文献

The complexation of three kinds of sequence-ordered acid (co)polymers with a base homopolymer was studied. The acid polymers used are poly(methacrylic acid) 1 , alternating (1:1) ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer 2 , and periodic (2:1) ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer 3 , and the base polymer is poly(4-vinylpyridine) 4. When mixing a methanol solution of 1, 2 , or 3 with that of 4 (0.1 M of each functional group), precipitate was formed immediately for all polymer pairs. All the precipitates contained carboxyl and pyridyl groups in ca. 1:1 molar ratio and showed IR spectra indicating the hydrogen bonding between carboxyl and pyridyl groups. When mixing dilute methanol solutions (10−4M) of the above polymer pairs, no precipitation was observed, but the extinction coefficient (ϵB) at 255 nm of pyridyl groups in 4 was found to increase with an increasing acid polymer concentration. This is ascribed to hydrogen bonding between carboxyl and pyridyl groups in methanol. Based on the ϵB variation, the order of complexation constants for acid/base polymer pairs was estimated as follows: 1/4 pair ∼ 2/4 pair ≫ 3/4 pair. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.  相似文献

A novel glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with a composite film of poly (4-vinylpyridine) (P4VP) and multiwalled carbon nanotubes (P4VP/MWCNT GCE) was used for the voltammetric determination of paracetamol (PCT). This novel electrode displayed a combined effect of P4VP and MWCNT on the electro-oxidation of PCT in a solution of phosphate buffer at pH 7. Hence, conducting properties of P4VP along with the remarkable physical properties of MWCNTs might have combined effects in enhancing the kinetics of PCT oxidation. The P4VP/MWCNT GCE has also demonstrated excellent electrochemical activity toward PCT oxidation compared to that with bare GCE and MWCNT GCE. The anodic peak currents of PCT on the P4VP/MWCNT GCE were about 300 fold higher than that of the non-modified electrodes. By applying differential pulse voltammetry technique under optimized experimental conditions, a good linear ratio of oxidation peak currents and concentrations of PCT over the range of 0.02–450 μM with a limit of detection of 1.69 nM were achieved. This novel electrode was stable for more than 60 days and reproducible responses were obtained at 99% of the initial current of PCT without any influence of physiologically common interferences such as ascorbic acid and uric acid. The application of this electrode to determine PCT in tablets and urine samples was proposed.  相似文献

This article describes the buildup of hydrogen bonded multilayer film of poly(2-vinylpyridine) (P2VP) and poly(acrylic acid) (PAA), and the influence of polymer molecular weight on the formation of microporous film by post-base treatment. The formation of a microporous film involved a two-step mechanism: the release of PAA from P2VP/PAA multilayer, and the reorganization of the remaining P2VP on the substrate. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) indicated that the release of PAA from hydrogen bonded multilayer was a rapid process, which was almost independent of the molecular weight of PAA. Furthermore, the molecular weight of P2VP had a great effect on micropore formation by immersing the P2VP/PAA multilayer in basic solution. The rate of micropore formation increased with increasing molecular weight. We anticipate that a comparative study on P2VP/PAA films containing high or low molecular weight polymer provides a way to control the surface morphology, and will be helpful and constructive for the forthcoming discussion about the formation of the microporous film.  相似文献

With the successful implementation of poly(4-vinylpyridine)-grafted silica prepared by grafting-from approach (GF-VP(n)) as a stationary phase for the separation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in normal-phase HPLC, this paper describes the chromatographic retention behaviors of PAHs with GF-VP(n) in reversed-phase HPLC. Significantly higher retention factor along with enhanced shape selectivity were observed with GF-VP(n). Thermodynamic study on the retention behaviors of PAHs with GF-VP(n) in normal-phase and reversed-phase HPLC revealed that retention of PAHs was exothermic in both phases. Furthermore, higher entropic contribution was observed in reversed-phase HPLC compared to normal-phase HPLC.  相似文献

合成了一种新的共聚体——聚(4-偶氮磺酸苯乙烯-co-4-乙烯基吡啶), 它含有吡啶环, 能作为氢受体与本征态聚苯胺进行氢键自组装. 在紫外光照下, 组装膜通过偶氮磺酸基的光解, 形成稳定的共价交联结构, 在电解质水溶液中也不被破坏, 可用作光电转换膜, 并能在盐水溶液中直接测定它的光电流. 结果表明含有本征态聚苯胺的自组装膜是一种良好的光电转换材料.  相似文献

采用粘度法确定了聚4-乙烯基吡啶(P4VP)在乙醇/水混合溶剂中的临界交迭浓度c*, 分别在稀溶液与亚浓溶液浓度范围内, 采用光谱法与电导滴定法研究了P4VP与Cu(II)离子的配合过程及配合物的结构, 通过红外光谱(FTIR)对配合物的化学结构进行了表征, 并用差示扫描量热法(DSC)测定了配合物的热性能. 结果表明, 对于相对分子质量为1.06×105的P4VP, 其c*为15 mmol•L−1(按P4VP中的链节量计算). 在稀溶液中P4VP与Cu(II)离子形成可溶性的分子内配合物, 表观配位数为9~10;在亚浓溶液中, P4VP与Cu(II)离子发生分子间配合作用, 由于配位交联, 形成不溶性的配合物P4VP-Cu(II), 配位数为3. P4VP与Cu(II)离子形成配合物后, 玻璃化温度明显提高.  相似文献

Crystal patterns in ultrathin films of six poly(ethylene oxide) fractions with molecular weights from 25000 to 932000 g/mol were characterized within crystallization temperature range from 20 ℃ to 60 ℃.Labyrinthine,dendritic and faceted crystal patterns were observed in different temperature ranges,and then labyrinthine-to-dendritic and dendritic-tofaceted transition temperatures T L-D and T D-F were quantitatively identified.Their molecular weight dependences are T L-D(M w) = T L-D(∞) K L-D /M w,where T L-D(∞) = 38.2 ℃ and K L-D = 253000 ℃.g/mol and T D-F(M w) = T D-F(∞) K D-F /M w,where T D-F(∞) = 54.7 ℃ and K D-F = 27000 ℃.g/mol.Quasi two-dimensional blob models were proposed to provide empirical explanations of the molecular weight dependences.The labyrinthine-to-dendritic transition is attributed to a molecular diffusion process change from a local-diffusion to diffusion-limited-aggregation(DLA) and a polymer chain with M w ≈ 253000 g/mol within a blob can join crystals independently.The dendritic-to-faceted transition is attributed to a turnover of the pattern formation mechanism from DLA to crystallization control,and a polymer chain with a M w ≈ 27000 g/mol as an independent blob crosses to a depletion zone to join crystals.These molecular weight dependences reveal a macromolecular effect on the crystal pattern formation and selection of crystalline polymers.  相似文献

The hydrolysis of methyl bromide with neutral water is performed in the presence and absence of various amines in a batch reactor at different temperatures (50–125 °C). Screening of poly(4-vinylpyridine) as a potential reusable solid amine catalyst showed maximum efficiency. This significant enhancement in efficiency is due to the capture of HBr by solid PVP and remains phase-separated driving the reaction forward. The major advantage of this process is that the polymer can be easily regenerated and reused without loss of activity making it a very effective catalyst for the conversion of methyl halides to methanol and dimethyl ether.  相似文献

Poly(4-vinyl pyridine) supported bromine/iodine complexes were prepared and probed for ipso-bromination/iodination of arylboronic acids. These solid complexes with catalytic amount of additive are found to be safe and efficient reagent system for the ipso-bromination/iodination. The reaction occurs under mild conditions and tolerates various functional groups resulting in products with high selectivity and yields.  相似文献

A poly(4-vinylpyridine)/mercury film electrode (PVP/MFE) was used for the determination of trace thallium(III) by square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV). Thallium(III) is preconcentrated onto the PVP/MFE as the anionic forms in chloride medium by the ion-exchange effect of the PVP. The high solubility of thallium in mercury further facilitates the accumulation effect. Various factors influencing the determination of thallium(III) were thoroughly investigated. This modified electrode displayed good resistance to interferences from surface-active compounds and common ions and increased sensitivity when used in conjunction with SWASV. In addition, detection can be achieved without deoxygenation and the electrode can be easily renewed. Applicability to various water samples is illustrated.  相似文献

Purification and concentration of mineral acids can be carried through dialysis processes with anion-exchange membranes. Weak anion-exchange membranes are active only for sufficient acid concentrations in their structure, however too high concentrations result in significant proton leakage, i.e. reduction in the transport selectivity. The present paper deals with the kinetics of acid diffusion through two commercial poly(4-vinylpyridine)-based weak anion-exchange membranes which comprises protonation of the exchanging groups. The electrical conductivity and the water content of the membranes were shown to be linear function of the protonation degree of poly(4-vinylpyridine) groups. Kinetics of protonation and diffusion of acids have been investigated using dialysis cells. First diffusion kinetics has been studied in a conventional dialysis cell, by observation of the transient acid transport through the membrane (macroscopic studies). Besides, protonation kinetics was investigated using a miniaturised dialysis cell coupled to confocal Raman microspectrometer. Profiles of non-protonated and protonated sites in the membrane were recorded along time, depending on the membrane grade and the nature of the acid transported. Interpretation of the two sources of data yielded permeability coefficient and diffusion coefficient, whose meaning is discussed. A mechanism for protonation/diffusion in this type of weak anion exchangers in acidic media was proposed.  相似文献

Although poly(4-vinylpyridine) is believed to have good gas permselectivity, the intrinsic gas permeation property is rarely reported in the literature. The objective of this work is to study the the intrinsic gas permeation property of poly(4-vinylpyridine) using a free-standing film. Because of its brittleness and strong adhesion with most solid surfaces, a free-standing poly(4-vinylpyridine) film was therefore prepared from casting on a liquid mercury surface. The permeation behavior of He, H2, O2, N2, CH4, and CO2 through the film was tested over a pressure range of 252 to 800 cm Hg at 35°C. The permeability and solubility decrease slightly with an increase in pressure, whereas the diffusivity increases as pressure increases. The pressure-dependent phenomenon can be explained using the partial immobilization model and the dual sorption model. An effective gas molecule diameter, which is defined as the square root of the product of gas collision and kinetic diameters, was used to correlate the diffusivity and gas molecule size, and an empirical equation was derived. Solubility is also a strong function of gas physical properties such as critical temperature and Lennard–Jones force constant, which are the measures of gas condensability and molecule interaction, respectively. In general, higher solubility in a polymer is obtained for gases with greater condensability and stronger interaction. Typical gas permeabilities of poly(4-vinylpyridine) measured at 619 cm Hg and 35°C are: 12.36 (He), 12.64 (H2), 3.31 (CO2), 0.84 (O2), 0.14 (CH4), and 0.13 (N2) barrers. © 1999 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 用自由基共聚法制备了一系列可生物降解的功能聚合物聚(丙烯酸钠-4-乙烯基吡啶)[P(SA-co-4VP)],研究了其组成和分子量与生物降解性、资合性及分散性间的关系.结果表明:聚合物中小乙烯基吡啶含量越大,P(SA-co-4VP)的生物降解越显著.分子是一定时,少量的个乙烯基吡啶引入聚丙烯酸钠主链是增强聚合物生物降解性和保持原有功能特性的有效途径.  相似文献

Poly(styrene-butadiene-4-vinylpyridine) triblock copolymers were prepared from styrene (S), butadiene (B), and 4-vinylpyridine (P) by sequential anionic polymerization with n-butyllithium as initiator and benzene as solvent. The triblock copolymer was characterizated by gel-permeation chromatography (GPC), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and viscoelastic spectrometry. Films of the triblock copolymer cast from solution in mixtures of chloroform and n-butyraldehyde were subjected to gamma-ray irradiation to form cross-linked networks, Cationic and anionic groups were introduced by sulfonation and quater-nization to obtain charge-mosaic membranes. The resulting membrane had substantial cation-exchange and anion-exchange capacities. The palladium complex of the molecular complex of poly(4-vinylpyridine)with acetic acid (PVP/HAc-Pd) was prepared.Its catalytic activity for the hydrogenation of nitrobenzene was found much higher than that of the corresponding palladium complex of poly(4-vinylpyridine).In the presence of a strong inorganic alkali.especially potassium hydroxide.the catalytic activity is greatly improved.The suitable hydrogenation condition for PVP/HAc-Pd is to use 0.1mol/L ethanol solution of potassium hydroxide as the hydrogenation medium and the hydrogenation is carried out at 45 ℃。  相似文献

The effect of molecular weight on the polymorphic transformation of isotactic poly(1-butene)(iPB) under room temperature had been investigated by fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR). The phase transformation time, phase transformation rate and phase transformation time difference between phase I and phase II at a given transformation degree were used to analysis the phase transformation kinetics of iPB aging at room temperature. The results show that the reduction of phase II can occur quickly at room temperature and seem less dependent on the molecular weight. However, the molecular weight has great effect on the formation of phase I. When the phase transformation degree for phase I reach 90%, a distinct transformation time difference can be observed. In order to clearly explain the difference in the reduction of phase II and the growth of phase I, a phase transformation model from the chain conformation level for iPB with different molecular weight have been drawn. DSC analysis was used to support the proposed model.  相似文献
