A new acridone alkaloid, named 9-hydroxynoracronycine (1), together with four known compounds, including coumarins, lignan, and indole alkaloid, was isolated and identified from the roots and rhizomes of Rauvolfia verticillata. The structure of the new compound was determined by spectroscopic means (UV, IR, MS, and NMR). The acridone alkaloid and coumarins were identified as new constituents of Rauvolfia genus. The cytotoxic activities of the new compound were tested against human breast cancer cell line MCF-7 and human promyelocytic leukemia HL-60. Results showed that compound 1 decreased MCF-7 cell proliferation in a statistically IC50 significant manner at 102.8 μmol/L. In addition, compound 1 exhibited moderate small intestine smooth muscle relaxation.  相似文献

Fractionation of the methanol extract of the leaves of Oricia renieri and Oricia suaveolens (Rutaceae) led to the isolation of 13 compounds including the hitherto unknown furoquinoline alkaloid named 6,7-methylenedioxy-5-hydroxy-8-methoxy-dictamnine (1) and a flavanone glycoside named 5-hydroxy-4′-methoxy-7-O-[α-l-rhamnopyranosyl(1?→5″)-β-d-apiofuranosyl]-flavanoside (2), together with 11 known compounds (313). A pentacyclic triterpene, named salvibuchanic acid (1), together with five known compounds, were isolated from the roots of Salvia buchananii Hedge (Lamiaceae). The structural characterisation of all compounds was performed by spectroscopic analyses, including 1D and 2D NMR and HRESIMS experiments. The lupane triterpene (1) and hyptadienic acid (2) were investigated for their potential cytotoxic activity on Jurkat, HeLa and MCF7 cell lines. Both compounds showed an interesting antiproliferative activity with similar potency in all cell lines. By means of flow cytometric studies, hyptadienic acid (2) induced in HeLa cells a S cell cycle block, while 1 elicited both cytostatic and cytotoxic responses.  相似文献

The isolation and structure elucidation of a new triterpenic acid named floccosic acid ( 1 ) is reported on the basis of the 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR assignments. This secondary metabolite was isolated as a new constituent, along with the known triterpenoids, betulinic acid and β‐amyrin. All these compounds were purified by repeated column chromatography of the MeOH extract of Nepeta floccosa. The structure elucidation of the new compound was accomplished by the combined mass spectrometry (MS), infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) absorption spectroscopy, one‐ (1H‐ and 13C‐) and two‐dimensional (H? C correlations; HMBC and HSQC) NMR techniques. The known compounds were identified by comparison of their physical and spectroscopic data with those reported in the literature.  相似文献

Abstract

A new rotenoid named 12-O-methylrotenolol along with five known rotenoid and isoflavone metabolites were isolated from the seeds of Dalbergia lanceolaria subsp. paniculata, collected from Egypt. The structures of these compounds were identified by physical and spectroscopic data measurements ([α]D, UV, 1D- and 2D-NMR and MS). The methanol extract of the seeds exhibited strong antioxidant activity with IC50 value 0.7?µg/µl against DPPH radical, in respect to quercetin as antioxidant reference (IC50 1.5?μM), while the tested compounds from this extract showed weak activities with IC50 values ranged from 19.6 to 33.0?µM.  相似文献

Two novel indole alkaloids with plumeran skeleton, N‐benzoyl‐12‐demethoxycylindrocarine and N‐cinnamoyl‐12‐demethoxycylindrocarine ( 1 and 2 , resp.), were isolated from the MeOH extract of the stem bark of Aspidosperma cylindrocarpon Müll .Arg . These compounds were obtained by high‐speed counter‐current chromatography, and their structures were elucidated on the basis of their NMR (1D and 2D) data. They were tested in vitro against chloroquine‐resistant strains of Plasmodium falciparum, and only 2 showed a weak activity (IC50 127.97 ng/ml with respect to the standard drug). Several other known compounds, comprising steroids, flavonoids, the rarely found atraric acid, as well as the previously reported alkaloid 3 , were also isolated by conventional chromatographic techniques.  相似文献
