β‐Bromo‐α,β‐unsaturated ketones are condensed with arylhydrazines to form hydrazones, which are in situ intramolecularly cyclized into 3‐substituted 1‐aryl‐1 H‐pyrazoles under a catalytic system of Pd(OAc)2/1,3‐bis(diphenylhosphino)propane (dppp)/NaOtBu. We present a general approach to C? P bond formation through the cross‐coupling of aryl halides with a dialkyl phosphite, diphenylphosphine oxide, and diphenylphosphane by using [NiCl2(dppp)] as catalyst (dppp=1,3‐bis(diphenylphosphino)propane). This catalyst system displays a broad applicability that is capable of catalyzing the cross‐coupling of aryl bromides, particularly a range of unreactive aryl chlorides, with various types of phosphorus substrates, such as a dialkyl phosphite, diphenylphosphine oxide, and diphenylphosphane. Consequently, the synthesis of valuable phosphonates, phosphine oxides, and phosphanes can be achieved with one catalyst system. Moreover, the reaction proceeds not only at a much lower temperature (100–120 °C) relative to the classic Arbuzov reaction (ca. 160–220 °C), but also without the need of external reductants and supporting ligands. In addition, owing to the relatively mild reaction conditions, a range of labile groups, such as ether, ester, ketone, and cyano groups, are tolerated. Finally, a brief mechanistic study revealed that by using [NiCl2(dppp)] as a catalyst, the NiII center could be readily reduced in situ to Ni0 by the phosphorus substrates due to the influence of the dppp ligand, thereby facilitating the oxidative addition of aryl halides to a Ni0 center. This step is the key to bringing the reaction into the catalytic cycle.  相似文献

Planar nickel(II) complexes involving N‐(2‐Hydroxyethyl)‐N‐methyldithiocarbamate, such as [NiX(nmedtc)(PPh3)] (X = Cl, NCS; PPh3 = triphenylphosphine), and [Ni(nmedtc)(P‐P)]ClO4(P‐P = 1,1‐bis(diphenylphosphino)methane(dppm); 1,3‐bis(diphenylphosphino)propane (1,3‐dppp); 1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)butane(1,4‐dppb) have been synthesized. The complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR and electronic spectroscopies. The increased νC–N value in all the complexes is due to the mesomeric drift of electrons from the dithiocarbamate ligands to the metal atom. Single crystal X‐ray structure of [Ni(nmedtc)(1,3‐dppp)]ClO4·H2O is reported. In the present 1,3‐dppp chelate, the P–Ni–P angle is higher than that found in 1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane‐nickel chelates and lower than 1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)butane‐nickel chelates, as a result of presence of the flexible propyl back bone connecting the two phosphorus atoms of the complex.  相似文献

A 2 : 4 mixture of tetrakis[4‐(4‐pyridyl)phenyl]cavitand ( 1 ) or tetrakis[4‐(4‐pyridyl)phenylethynyl]cavitand ( 2 ) and Pd(dppp)(OTf)2 self‐assembles into a homocapsule { 1 2 ? [Pd(dppp)]4}8+ ? (TfO?)8 ( C1 ) or { 2 2 ? [Pd(dppp)]4}8+ ? (TfO?)8 ( C2 ), respectively, through Pd?Npy coordination bonds. A 1 : 1 : 4 mixture of 1 , 2 , and Pd(dppp)(OTf)2 produced a mixture of homocapsules C1 , C2 , and a heterocapsule { 1 ? 2 ? [Pd(dppp)]4}8+ ? (TfO?)8 ( C3 ) in a 1 : 1 : 0.98 mole ratio. Selective formation (self‐sorting) of homocapsules C1 and C2 or heterocapsule C3 was controlled by guest‐induced encapsulation under thermodynamic control. Applications of Pd?Npy coordination capsules with the use of 1 were demonstrated. Capsule C1 serves as a guard nanocontainer for trans‐4,4′‐diacetoxyazobenzene to protect against the trans‐to‐cis photoisomerization by encapsulation. A chiral capsule { 1 2 ? [Pd((R)‐BINAP)]4}8+ ? (TfO?)8 ( C5 ) was also constructed. Capsule C5 induces supramolecular chirality with respect to prochiral 2,2′‐bis(alkoxycarbonyl)‐4,4′‐bis(1‐propynyl)biphenyls by diastereomeric encapsulation through the asymmetric suppression of rotation around the axis of the prochiral biphenyl moiety.  相似文献

A bis(phosphine)borane ambiphilic ligand, [Fe(η5‐C5H4PPh2)(η5‐C5H4PtBu{C6H4(BPh2)‐ortho})] (FcPPB), in which the borane occupies a terminal position, was prepared. Reaction of FcPPB with tris(norbornene)platinum(0) provided [Pt(FcPPB)] ( 1 ) in which the arylborane is η3BCC‐coordinated. Subsequent reaction with CO and CNXyl (Xyl=2,6‐dimethylphenyl) afforded [PtL(FcPPB)] {L=CO ( 2 ) and CNXyl ( 3 )} featuring η2BC‐ and η1B‐arylborane coordination modes, respectively. Reaction of 1 or 2 with H2 yielded [PtH(μ‐H)(FcPPB)] in which the borane is bound to a hydride ligand on platinum. Addition of PhC2H to [Pt(FcPPB)] afforded [Pt(C2Ph)(μ‐H)(FcPPB)] ( 5 ), which rapidly converted to [Pt(FcPPB′)] ( 6 ; FcPPB′=[Fe(η5‐C5H4PPh2)(η5‐C5H4PtBu{C6H4(BPh‐CPh=CHPh‐Z)‐ortho}]) in which the newly formed vinylborane is η3BCC‐coordinated. Unlike arylborane complex 1 , vinylborane complex 6 does not react with CO, CNXyl, H2 or HC2Ph at room temperature.  相似文献

The coordination properties of N,N′‐bis[4‐(4‐pyridyl)phenyl]acenaphthenequinonediimine (L1) and N,N′‐bis[4‐(2‐pyridyl)phenyl]acenaphthenequinonediimine (L2) were investigated in self‐assembly with palladium diphosphane complexes [Pd(P^P)(H2O)2](OTf)2 (OTf=triflate) by using various analytical techniques, including multinuclear (1H, 15N, and 31P) NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry (P^P=dppp, dppf, dppe; dppp=bis(diphenylphosphanyl)propane, dppf= bis(diphenylphosphanyl)ferrocene, and dppe=bis(diphenylphosphanyl)ethane). Beside the expected trimeric and tetrameric species, the interaction of an equimolar mixture of [Pd(dppp)]2+ ions and L1 also generates pentameric aggregates. Due to the E/Z isomerism of L1, a dimeric product was also observed. In all of these species, which correspond to the general formula [Pd(dppp)L1]n(OTf)2n (n=2–5), the L1 ligand is coordinated to the Pd center only through the terminal pyridyl groups. Introduction of a second equivalent of the [Pd(dppp)]2+ tecton results in coordination to the internal, sterically more encumbered chelating site and induces enhancement of the higher nuclearity components. The presence of higher‐order aggregates (n=5, 6), which were unexpected for the interaction of cis‐protected palladium corners with linear ditopic bridging ligands, has been demonstrated both by mass‐spectrometric and DOSY NMR spectroscopic analysis. The sequential coordination of the [Pd(dppp)]2+ ion is attributed to the dissimilar steric properties of the two coordination sites. In the self‐assembled species formed in a 1:1:1 mixture of [Pd(dppp)]2+/[Pd(dppe)]2+/L1, the sterically more demanding [Pd(dppp)]2+ tectons are attached selectively to the pyridyl groups, whereas the more hindered imino nitrogen atoms coordinate the less bulky dppe complexes, thus resulting in a sterically directed, size‐selective sorting of the metal tectons. The propensity of the new ligands to incorporate hydrogen‐bonded solvent molecules at the chelating site was confirmed by X‐ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

In Suzuki–Miyaura reactions, anionic bases F? and OH? (used as is or generated from CO32? in water) play multiple antagonistic roles. Two are positive: 1) formation of trans‐[Pd(Ar)F(L)2] or trans‐[Pd(Ar)‐ (L)2(OH)] (L=PPh3) that react with Ar′B(OH)2 in the rate‐determining step (rds) transmetallation and 2) catalysis of the reductive elimination from intermediate trans‐[Pd(Ar)(Ar′)(L)2]. Two roles are negative: 1) formation of unreactive arylborates (or fluoroborates) and 2) complexation of the OH group of [Pd(Ar)(L)2(OH)] by the countercation of the base (Na+, Cs+, K+).  相似文献

The reactivity of two paramagnetic nickel(I) compounds, CpNi(NHC) (where Cp=cyclopentadienyl; NHC=1,3‐bis(2,4,6‐trimethylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐ylidene (IMes) or 1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazol‐2‐ylidene (IPr)), towards [Na(dioxane)x][PnCO] (Pn=P, As) is described. These reactions afford symmetric bimetallic compounds (μ222‐Pn2){Ni(NHC)(CO)}2. Several novel intermediates en route to such species are identified and characterised, including a compound containing the PCO? anion in an unprecedented μ222‐binding mode. Ultimately, on treatment of the (μ222‐Pn2){Ni(IMes)(CO)}2 compounds with carbon monoxide, the Pn2 units can be released, affording P4 in the case of the phosphorus‐containing species, and elemental arsenic in the case of (μ222‐As2){Ni(IMes)(CO)}2.  相似文献

Palladacyclic compounds [Pd(C6H4(C6H5C?O)C?N? R)(N? N)] [X] (R = Et, iPr, 2,6‐iPr2C6H3; N? N = bpy = 2,2′‐bipyridine, or 1,4‐(o,o′‐dialkylaryl)‐1,4‐diazabuta‐1,3‐dienes; [X]? = [BF4]? or [PF6]?) were synthesized from the dimers [{Pd(C6H4(C6H5C?O)C?N? R)(μ‐Cl)}2] and N? N ligands. Their interionic structure in CD2Cl2 was determined by means of 19F,1H‐HOESY experiments and compared with that in the solid state derived from X‐ray single‐crystal studies. [Pd(C6H4(C6H5C?O)C?N? R)(N? N)] [X] complexes were found to copolymerize CO and p‐methylstyrene affording syndiotactic or isotactic copolymers when bpy or 1,4‐(o,o′‐dimethylaryl)‐1,4‐diazabuta‐1,3‐dienes were used, respectively. The reactions with CO and p‐methylstyrene of the bpy derivatives were investigated. Two intermediates derived from a single and a double insertion of CO into the Pd? C bonds were isolated and completely characterized in solution.  相似文献

Reaction of equimolar amounts of [WI2(CO)3(NCMe)2] and norbornadiene (nbd) in toluene at 95 °C for 3h gave the 16‐electron crystallographically characterised complex, [WI2(CO)2(nbd)] (1) in 96 % yield. The structure of 1 has a distorted octahedral geometry, with the two cis‐ iodo ligands opposite to the two alkene groups in the equatorial plane, with the carbonyl groups in the axial sites. Treatment of 1 with two equivalents of PhC2Ph in CH2Cl2 at room temperature afforded the bis(alkyne) complex [WI2(CO)22—PhC2Ph)2] (2) . Equimolar quantities of 1 and 4, 4′‐bipyridine react in CH2Cl2 at room temperature to yield the seven‐coordinate complex, [WI2(CO)2(4, 4′‐bipyridine)(nbd)] (3) .  相似文献

The conformational isomers endo‐ and exo‐[Mo{η3‐C3H4(CH3)}(η2‐pyS)(CO)(η2‐diphos)] (diphos: dppm = {bis(diphenylphosphino)methane}, 2 ; dppe = {1,2‐bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane}, 3 ) are prepared by reacting the double‐bridged pyridine‐2‐thionate (pyS) complex [Mo{η3‐C3H4(CH3)}(CO)2]212:μ‐pyS)2, 1 with diphos in refluxing acetonitrile. Stereoselectivity of the methallyl, C3H4(CH3), ligand improves the formation of the exo‐conformation of 2 and 3 . Orientations and spectroscopy of these complexes are discussed.  相似文献

The square‐like homo‐ and heterometallamacrocycles [{Pd(η3‐2‐Me‐C3H4)( L n )2}2{M(dppp)}2](CF3SO3)6 (dppp=1,3‐bis(diphenylphosphino)propane) and [{Pd(η3‐2‐Me‐C3H4)( L1 )2}2{M(PPh3)2}2](CF3SO3)6 [py=pyridine, M=Pd, Pt, L n =4‐PPh2py ( L1 ), 4‐C6F4PPh2py ( L2 )] containing allyl corners were synthesised by antisymbiotic self‐assembly of the different palladium and platinum metallic corners and the ambidentate N,P ligands. All the synthesised assemblies displayed a complex dynamic behaviour in solution, the rate of which is found to be dependent on the electronic and/or steric nature of the different building blocks. A kinetico‐mechanistic study by NMR line shape analysis of the dynamics of some of these assemblies was undertaken in order to determine the corresponding thermal activation parameters. Both an enhanced thermodynamic stability and slower dynamics were observed for platinum‐pyridine‐containing species when compared with their palladium analogues. Time‐dependent NMR spectroscopy in combination with ESI mass spectrometry was used to study the exchange between the assemblies and their building blocks, as well as that occurring between different metallamacrocycles. Preliminary studies were carried out on the activity of some of the metallamacrocyclic compounds as catalytic precursors in the allylic substitution reaction, and the results compared with that of the monometallic allylic corner [Pd(η3‐2‐Me‐C3H4)( L1 )2]+.  相似文献

Reactions of pyrimidine‐2‐thione (HpymS) with PdII/PtIV salts in the presence of triphenyl phosphine and bis(diphenylphosphino)alkanes, Ph2P‐(CH2)m‐PPh2 (m = 1, 2) have yielded two types of complexes, viz. a) [M(η2‐N, S‐ pymS)(η1‐S‐ pymS)(PPh3)] (M = Pd, 1 ; Pt, 2 ), and (b) [M(η1‐S‐pymS)2(L‐L)] {L‐L, M = dppm (m = 1) Pd, 3 ; Pt, 4 ; dppe (m = 2), Pd, 5 ; Pt, 6 }. Complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis (C, H, N), NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C, 31P), and single crystal X‐ray crystallography ( 1 , 2 , 4 , and 5 ). Complexes 1 and 2 have terminal η1‐S and chelating η2‐N, S‐modes of pymS, while other Pd/Pt complexes have only terminal η1‐S modes. The solution state 31P NMR spectral data reveal dynamic equilibrium for the complexes 3 , 5 and 6 , whereas the complexes 1 , 2 and 4 are static in solution state.  相似文献

A series of heterodinuclear complexes with acetylene dithiolate (acdt2?) as the bridging moiety were synthesised by a facile one‐pot procedure that avoided use of the highly elusive acetylene dithiol. Generation of the W–Ru complex [Tp′W(CN)(CO)(C2S2)Ru(η5‐C5H5)(PPh3)] (Tp’=hydrotris(3,5‐dimethylpyrazolyl)borate) and the W–Pd complexes [Tp′W(CN)(CO)(C2S2)Pd(dppe)] and [Tp′W(CO)2(C2S2)Pd(dppe)][PF6] (dppe=1,2‐bis(diphenylphoshino)ethane), which exhibit a [W(η2‐κ2‐C2S2)M] core (M=Ru, Pd), was accomplished by using a transition‐metal‐assisted solvolytical removal of the Me3Si‐ethyl thiol protecting groups. All intermediate species of the reaction have been fully characterised. The highly coloured W–Ru complex [Tp′W(CN)(CO)(C2S2)Ru(η5‐C5H5)(PPh3)] shows reversible redox chemistry, as does the prototype complex [Tp′W(CO)2(C2S2)Ru(η5‐C5H5)(PPh3)][PF6]. Single crystal X‐ray diffraction and IR, EPR and UV/Vis spectroscopic studies in conjunction with DFT calculations prove the high electronic delocalisation of states over the acdt2? linker. Comparative studies revealed a higher donor strength and more pronounced dithiolate character of acdt2? in [Tp′W(CN)(CO)(C2S2)Ru(η5‐C5H5)(PPh3)] relative to [Tp′W(CO)2(C2S2)Ru(η5‐C5H5)(PPh3)]+. In addition, the influence of the overall complex charge on the metric parameters was investigated by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies with the W–Pd complexes [Tp′WL2(C2S2)Pd(dppe)] (L=(CN?)(CO) or (CO)2). The central [W(C2S2)Pd] units exhibit high structural similarity, which indicates the extensive delocalisation of charge over both metals.  相似文献

PhotoCORMs (photo‐active CO‐releasing molecules) have emerged as a class of CO donors where the CO release process can be triggered upon illumination with light of appropriate wavelength. We have recently reported an Mn‐based photoCORM, namely [MnBr(pbt)(CO)3] [pbt is 2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole], where the CO release event can be tracked within cellular milieu by virtue of the emergence of strong blue fluorescence. In pursuit of developing more such trackable photoCORMs, we report herein the syntheses and structural characterization of two MnI–carbonyl complexes, namely fac‐tricarbonylchlorido[2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole‐κ2N ,N ′]manganese(I), [MnCl(C12H8N2S)(CO)3], (1), and fac‐tricarbonylchlorido[2‐(quinolin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole‐κ2N ,N ′]manganese(I), [MnCl(C16H10N2S)(CO)3], (2). In both complexes, the MnI center resides in a distorted octahedral coordination environment. Weak intermolecular C—H…Cl contacts in complex (1) and Cl…S contacts in complex (2) consolidate their extended structures. These complexes also exhibit CO release upon exposure to low‐power broadband visible light. The apparent CO release rates for the two complexes have been measured to compare their CO donating capacity. The fluorogenic 2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole and 2‐(quinolin‐2‐yl)‐1,3‐benzothiazole ligands provide a convenient way to track the CO release event through the `turn‐ON' fluorescence which results upon de‐ligation of the ligands from their respective metal centers following CO photorelease.  相似文献

A nickel‐catalyzed methylation of aryl halides with cheap and readily available CH3I or CD3I is described. The reaction is applicable to a wide range of substrates and allows installation of a CD3 group under mild reaction conditions without deuterium scrambling to other carbon atoms. Initial mechanistic studies on the stoichiometric and catalytic reactions of the isolated [(dppp)Ni(C6H4‐4‐CO2Et)Br] [dppp=1,3‐bis(diphenylphosphanyl)propane] suggest that a Ni0/NiII catalytic cycle is favored.  相似文献

The η1‐thiocarbamoyl palladium complexes [Pd(PPh3)(η1‐SCNMe2)(η2‐S2R)] (R = P(OEt)2, 2 ; CNEt2, 3 ) and trans‐[Pd(PPh3)21‐SCNMe2)(η1‐Spy)], 4 , (pyS: pyridine‐2‐thionate) are prepared by reacting the η2‐thiocarbamoyl palladium complex [Pd(PPh3)22‐SCNMe2)][PF6], 1 with (EtO)2PS2NH4, Et2NCS2Na, and pySK in methanol at room temperature, respectively. Treatment of 1 with dppm (dppm: bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) in dichloromethane at room temperature gives complex [Pd(PPh3)(η1‐SCNMe2)(η2‐dppm)] [PF6], 5 . All of the complexes are identified by spectroscopic methods and complex 1 is determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction.  相似文献

A general regioselective rhodium‐catalyzed head‐to‐tail dimerization of terminal alkynes is presented. The presence of a pyridine ligand (py) in a Rh–N‐heterocyclic‐carbene (NHC) catalytic system not only dramatically switches the chemoselectivity from alkyne cyclotrimerization to dimerization but also enhances the catalytic activity. Several intermediates have been detected in the catalytic process, including the π‐alkyne‐coordinated RhI species [RhCl(NHC)(η2‐HC?CCH2Ph)(py)] ( 3 ) and [RhCl(NHC){η2‐C(tBu)?C(E)CH?CHtBu}(py)] ( 4 ) and the RhIII–hydride–alkynyl species [RhClH{? C?CSi(Me)3}(IPr)(py)2] ( 5 ). Computational DFT studies reveal an operational mechanism consisting of sequential alkyne C? H oxidative addition, alkyne insertion, and reductive elimination. A 2,1‐hydrometalation of the alkyne is the more favorable pathway in accordance with a head‐to‐tail selectivity.  相似文献

Reaction of 1, 9‐dihydro‐purine‐6‐thione (puSH2) in presence of aqueous sodium hydroxide with PdCl2(PPh3)2 suspended in ethanol formed [Pd(κ2‐N7,S‐puS)(PPh3)2] ( 1 ). Similarly, complexes [Pd(κ2‐N7,S‐puS)(κ2‐P, P‐L‐L)] ( 2 – 4 ) {L‐L = dppm (m = 1) ( 2 ), dppp (m = 3) ( 3 ), dppb (m = 4) ( 4 )} were prepared using precursors the [PdCl2(L‐L)] {L‐L = Ph2P–(CH2)m–PPh2}. Reaction of puSH2 suspended in benzene with platinic acid, H2PtCl6, in ethanol in the presence of triethylamine followed by the addition of PPh3 yielded the complex [Pt(κ2‐N7,S‐puS)(PPh3)2] ( 5 ). Complexes [Pt(κ2‐N7,S‐puS)(κ2‐P, P‐L‐L)] ( 6 – 8 ) {L‐L = dppm ( 6 ), dppp ( 7 ), dppb ( 8 )} were prepared similarly. The 1, 9‐dihydro‐purine‐6‐thione acts as N7,S‐chelating dianion in compounds 1 – 8 . The reaction of copper(I) chloride [or copper(I) bromide] in acetonitrile with puSH2 and the addition of PPh3 in methanol yielded the same product, [Cu(κ2‐N7,S‐puSH)(PPh3)2] ( 9 ), in which the halogen atoms are removed by uninegative N, S‐chelating puSH anion. However, copper(I) iodide did not lose iodide and formed the tetrahedral complex, [CuI(κ1‐S‐puSH2)(PPh3)2] ( 10 ), in which the thio ligand is neutral. These complexes were characterized with the help of elemental analysis, NMR spectroscopy (1H, 31P), and single‐crystal X‐ray crystallography ( 3 , 7 , 8 , 9 , and 10 ).  相似文献

The reaction of the thiocarbamoyl‐molybdenum complex [Mo(CO)22‐SCNMe2)(PPh3)2Cl] 1 , with EtOCS2K and C4H8NCS2NH4 in dichloromethane at room temperature yielded the seven coordinated ethyldithiocarbonate thiocarbamoyl‐molybdenum complex [Mo(CO)22‐S2COEt)(η2‐SCNMe2)(PPh3)] 2 , and the dithiocarbamate thiocarbamoyl‐molybdenum complex [Mo(CO)22‐S2CNC4H8)(η2‐SCNMe2)(PPh3)] 3 . The geometry around the metal atom of compounds 2 and 3 are capped octahedrons as revealed by X‐ray diffraction analyses. The thiocarbamoyl and ethyldithiocarbonate or pyrrolidinyldithiocarbamate ligands coordinate to the molybdenum metal center through the carbon and sulfur and two sulfur atoms, respectively. Structure parameters, NMR, IR and Mass spectra are in agreement with the crystal chemistry of the two compounds.  相似文献
