In this paper, we consider a two‐dimensional multi‐term time‐fractional Oldroyd‐B equation on a rectangular domain. Its analytical solution is obtained by the method of separation of variables. We employ the finite difference method with a discretization of the Caputo time‐fractional derivative to obtain an implicit difference approximation for the equation. Stability and convergence of the approximation scheme are established in the L ‐norm. Two examples are given to illustrate the theoretical analysis and analytical solution. The results indicate that the present numerical method is effective for this general two‐dimensional multi‐term time‐fractional Oldroyd‐B model.  相似文献

In this paper, multi‐switching combination–combination synchronization scheme has been investigated between a class of four non‐identical fractional‐order chaotic systems. The fractional‐order Lorenz and Chen's systems are taken as drive systems. The combination–combination of multi drive systems is then synchronized with the combination of fractional‐order Lü and Rössler chaotic systems. In multi‐switching combination–combination synchronization, the state variables of two drive systems synchronize with different state variables of two response systems simultaneously. Based on the stability of fractional‐order chaotic systems, the multi‐switching combination–combination synchronization of four fractional‐order non‐identical systems has been investigated. For the synchronization of four non‐identical fractional‐order chaotic systems, suitable controllers have been designed. Theoretical analysis and numerical results are presented to demonstrate the validity and feasibility of the applied method. Copyright © 2017 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, a new computational scheme based on operational matrices (OMs) of two‐dimensional wavelets is proposed for the solution of variable‐order (VO) fractional partial integro‐differential equations (PIDEs). To accomplish this method, first OMs of integration and VO fractional derivative (FD) have been derived using two‐dimensional Legendre wavelets. By implementing two‐dimensional wavelets approximations and the OMs of integration and variable‐order fractional derivative (VO‐FD) along with collocation points, the VO fractional partial PIDEs are reduced into the system of algebraic equations. In addition to this, some useful theorems are discussed to establish the convergence analysis and error estimate of the proposed numerical technique. Furthermore, computational efficiency and applicability are examined through some illustrative examples.  相似文献

In this work, we make use of the conformable fractional differential transform method (CFDTM) in order to compute an approximate solution of the fractional‐order susceptible‐infected‐recovered (SIR) epidemic model of childhood disease. The method provides the solution in the form of a rapidly convergent series. Two explanatory and illustrative examples are given to represent the efficacy of the obtained results.  相似文献

In this work, we present numerical analysis for nonlinear multi‐term time fractional differential equation which involve Caputo‐type fractional derivatives for . The proposed method is based on utilization of fractional B‐spline basics in collocation method. The scheme can be readily obtained efficient and quite accurate with less computational work numerical result. The proposal approach transform nonlinear multi‐term time fractional differential equation into a suitable linear system of algebraic equations which can be solved by a suitable numerical method. The numerical experiments will be verify to demonstrate the effectiveness of our method for solving one‐ and two‐dimensional multi‐term time fractional differential equation.  相似文献

An inverse problem of determining a time‐dependent source term from the total energy measurement of the system (the over‐specified condition) for a space‐time fractional diffusion equation is considered. The space‐time fractional diffusion equation is obtained from classical diffusion equation by replacing time derivative with fractional‐order time derivative and Sturm‐Liouville operator by fractional‐order Sturm‐Liouville operator. The existence and uniqueness results are proved by using eigenfunction expansion method. Several special cases are discussed, and particular examples are provided.  相似文献

The current article devoted on the new method for finding the exact solutions of some time‐fractional Korteweg–de Vries (KdV) type equations appearing in shallow water waves. We employ the new method here for time‐fractional equations viz. time‐fractional KdV‐Burgers and KdV‐mKdV equations for finding the exact solutions. We use here the fractional complex transform accompanied by properties of local fractional calculus for reduction of fractional partial differential equations to ordinary differential equations. The obtained results are demonstrated by graphs for the new solutions. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, a new two‐dimensional fractional polynomials based on the orthonormal Bernstein polynomials has been introduced to provide an approximate solution of nonlinear fractional partial Volterra integro‐differential equations. For this aim, the fractional‐order orthogonal Bernstein polynomials (FOBPs) are constructed, and its operational matrices of integration, fractional‐order integration, and derivative in the Caputo sense and product operational matrix are derived. These operational matrices are utilized to reduce the under study problem to a nonlinear system of algebraic equations. Using the approximation of FOBPs, the convergence analysis and error estimate associated to the proposed problem have been investigated. Finally, several examples are included to clarify the validity, efficiency, and applicability of the proposed technique via FOBPs approximation.  相似文献

In this article, we consider the finite element method (FEM) for two‐dimensional linear time‐fractional Tricomi‐type equations, which is obtained from the standard two‐dimensional linear Tricomi‐type equation by replacing the first‐order time derivative with a fractional derivative (of order α, with 1 <α< 2 ). The method is based on finite element method for space and finite difference method for time. We prove that the method is unconditionally stable, and the error estimate is presented. The comparison of the FEM results with the exact solutions is made, and numerical experiments reveal that the FEM is very effective. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In this paper, time‐splitting spectral approximation technique has been proposed for Chen‐Lee‐Liu (CLL) equation involving Riesz fractional derivative. The proposed numerical technique is efficient, unconditionally stable, and of second‐order accuracy in time and of spectral accuracy in space. Moreover, it conserves the total density in the discretized level. In order to examine the results, with the aid of weighted shifted Grünwald‐Letnikov formula for approximating Riesz fractional derivative, Crank‐Nicolson weighted and shifted Grünwald difference (CN‐WSGD) method has been applied for Riesz fractional CLL equation. The comparison of results reveals that the proposed time‐splitting spectral method is very effective and simple for obtaining single soliton numerical solution of Riesz fractional CLL equation.  相似文献

This paper aims to formulate the fractional quasi‐inverse scattering method. Also, we give a positive answer to the following question: can the Ablowitz‐Kaup‐Newell‐Segur (AKNS) method be applied to the space–time fractional nonlinear differential equations? Besides, we derive the Bäcklund transformations for the fractional systems under study. Also, we construct the fractional quasi‐conservation laws for the considered fractional equations from the defined fractional quasi AKNS‐like system. The nonlinear fractional differential equations to be studied are the space–time fractional versions of the Kortweg‐de Vries equation, modified Kortweg‐de Vries equation, the sine‐Gordon equation, the sinh‐Gordon equation, the Liouville equation, the cosh‐Gordon equation, the short pulse equation, and the nonlinear Schrödinger equation.  相似文献

Since population behaviors possess the characteristic of history memory, we, in this paper, introduce time fractional‐order derivatives into a diffusive Gause‐type predator‐prey model, which is time fractional‐order reaction‐diffusion equations and a generalized form of its corresponding first‐derivative model. For this kind of model, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a global positive solution by using the theory of evolution equations and the comparison principle of time fractional‐order partial differential equations. Besides, we obtain the stability and Hopf bifurcation of the Gause‐type predator‐prey model in the forms of the time fractional‐order ordinary equations and of the time fractional‐order reaction‐diffusion equations, respectively. Our results show that the stable region of the parameters in these 2 models can be enlarged by the time fractional‐order derivatives. Some numerical simulations are made to verify our results.  相似文献

Fractional advection‐dispersion equations are used in groundwater hydrologhy to model the transport of passive tracers carried by fluid flow in a porous medium. In this paper we present two reliable algorithms, the Adomian decomposition method and variational iteration method, to construct numerical solutions of the space‐time fractional advection‐dispersion equation in the form of a rabidly convergent series with easily computable components. The fractional derivatives are described in the Caputo sense. Some examples are given. Numerical results show that the two approaches are easy to implement and accurate when applied to space‐time fractional advection‐dispersion equations. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We present the method of lines (MOL), which is based on the spectral collocation method, to solve space‐fractional advection‐diffusion equations (SFADEs) on a finite domain with variable coefficients. We focus on the cases in which the SFADEs consist of both left‐ and right‐sided fractional derivatives. To do so, we begin by introducing a new set of basis functions with some interesting features. The MOL, together with the spectral collocation method based on the new basis functions, are successfully applied to the SFADEs. Finally, four numerical examples, including benchmark problems and a problem with discontinuous advection and diffusion coefficients, are provided to illustrate the efficiency and exponentially accuracy of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper is devoted to the well‐posedness for time‐space fractional Ginzburg‐Landau equation and time‐space fractional Navier‐Stokes equations by α‐stable noise. The spatial regularity and the temporal regularity of the nonlocal stochastic convolution are firstly established, and then the existence and uniqueness of the global mild solution are obtained by the Banach fixed point theorem and Mittag‐Leffler functions, respectively. Numerical simulations for time‐space fractional Ginzburg‐Landau equation are provided to verify the analysis results.  相似文献

In this article, the sub‐equation method is presented for finding the exact solutions of a nonlinear fractional partial differential equations. For this, the fractional complex transformation method has been used to convert fractional‐order partial differential equation to ordinary differential equation. The fractional derivatives are described in Jumarie's the modified Riemann–Liouville sense. We apply to this method for the nonlinear time fractional differential equations. With the aid of symbolic computation, a variety of exact solutions for them are obtained. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

In this paper, we obtain approximate‐analytical solutions of a cancer chemotherapy effect model involving fractional derivatives with exponential kernel and with general Mittag‐Leffler function. Laplace homotopy perturbation method and the modified homotopy analysis transform method were applied. The first method is based on a combination of the Laplace transform and homotopy methods, while the second method is an analytical technique based on homotopy polynomial. The cancer chemotherapy effect equations are solved numerically and analytically using the aforesaid methods. Illustrative examples are included to demonstrate the validity and applicability of the presented technique with new fractional‐order derivatives with exponential decay law and with general Mittag‐Leffler law.  相似文献

In this paper, we present a novel discrete scheme based on Genocchi polynomials and fractional Laguerre functions to solve multiterm variable‐order time‐fractional partial differential equations (M‐V‐TFPDEs) in the large interval. In this purpose, the accurate modified operational matrices are constructed to reduce the problems into a system of algebraic equations. Also, the computational algorithm based on the method and modified operational matrices in the large interval is easily implemented. Furthermore, we discuss the error estimation of the proposed method. Ultimately, to confirm our theoretical analysis and accuracy of numerical approach, several examples are presented.  相似文献
