In this paper, we study the existence of positive solutions to the following Schr¨odinger system:{-?u + V_1(x)u = μ_1(x)u~3+ β(x)v~2u, x ∈R~N,-?v + V_2(x)v = μ_2(x)v~3+ β(x)u~2v, x ∈R~N,u, v ∈H~1(R~N),where N = 1, 2, 3; V_1(x) and V_2(x) are positive and continuous, but may not be well-shaped; and μ_1(x), μ_2(x)and β(x) are continuous, but may not be positive or anti-well-shaped. We prove that the system has a positive solution when the coefficients Vi(x), μ_i(x)(i = 1, 2) and β(x) satisfy some additional conditions.  相似文献

In this paper we establish the following estimate:
$$\omega \left( {\left\{ {x \in {\mathbb{R}^n}:\left| {\left[ {b,T} \right]f\left( x \right)} \right| > \lambda } \right\}} \right) \leqslant \frac{{{c_T}}}{{{\varepsilon ^2}}}\int_{{\mathbb{R}^n}} {\Phi \left( {{{\left\| b \right\|}_{BMO}}\frac{{\left| {f\left( x \right)} \right|}}{\lambda }} \right){M_{L{{\left( {\log L} \right)}^{1 + \varepsilon }}}}} \omega \left( x \right)dx$$
where ω ≥ 0, 0 < ε < 1 and Φ(t) = t(1 + log+(t)). This inequality relies upon the following sharp L p estimate:
$${\left\| {\left[ {b,T} \right]f} \right\|_{{L^p}\left( \omega \right)}} \leqslant {c_T}{\left( {p'} \right)^2}{p^2}{\left( {\frac{{p - 1}}{\delta }} \right)^{\frac{1}{{p'}}}}{\left\| b \right\|_{BMO}}{\left\| f \right\|_{{L^p}\left( {{M_{L{{\left( {{{\log }_L}} \right)}^{2p - 1 + {\delta ^\omega }}}}}} \right)}}$$
where 1 < p < ∞, ω ≥ 0 and 0 < δ < 1. As a consequence we recover the following estimate essentially contained in [18]:
$$\omega \left( {\left\{ {x \in {\mathbb{R}^n}:\left| {\left[ {b,T} \right]f\left( x \right)} \right| > \lambda } \right\}} \right) \leqslant {c_T}{\left[ \omega \right]_{{A_\infty }}}{\left( {1 + {{\log }^ + }{{\left[ \omega \right]}_{{A_\infty }}}} \right)^2}\int_{{\mathbb{R}^n}} {\Phi \left( {{{\left\| b \right\|}_{BMO}}\frac{{\left| {f\left( x \right)} \right|}}{\lambda }} \right)M} \omega \left( x \right)dx.$$
We also obtain the analogue estimates for symbol-multilinear commutators for a wider class of symbols.

The work is devoted to generalized Kloosterman sums modulo a prime, i.e., trigonometric sums of the form \(\sum\nolimits_{p \leqslant x} {\exp \left\{ {2\pi i\left( {a\bar p + {F_k}\left( p \right)} \right)/q} \right\}} \) and \(\sum\nolimits_{n \leqslant x} {\mu \left( n \right)\exp \left\{ {2\pi i\left( {a\bar n + {F_k}\left( n \right)} \right)/q} \right\}} \), where q is a prime number, \(\left( {a,q} \right) = 1,m\bar m \equiv 1\left( {\bmod {\kern 1pt} q} \right)\), F k (u) is a polynomial of degree k ≥ 2 with integer coefficients, and p runs over prime numbers. An upper estimate with a power saving is obtained for the absolute values of such sums for x ≥ q1/2+ε.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a large-update primal-dual interior point algorithm for P*(κ)-linear complementarity problem. The method is based on a new class of kernel functions which is neither classical logarithmic function nor self-regular functions. It is determines both search directions and the proximity measure between the iterate and the center path. We show that if a strictly feasible starting point is available, then the new algorithm has \(o\left( {(1 + 2k)p\sqrt n {{\left( {\frac{1}{p}\log n + 1} \right)}^2}\log \frac{n}{\varepsilon }} \right)\)iteration complexity which becomes \(o\left( {(1 + 2k)\sqrt n log{\kern 1pt} {\kern 1pt} n\log \frac{n}{\varepsilon }} \right)\)with special choice of the parameter p. It is matches the currently best known iteration bound for P*(κ)-linear complementarity problem. Some computational results have been provided.  相似文献

Let {X n }n?≥?1 be a sequence of strictly stationary m-dependent random variableswith EX1 = 0 and \( \mathrm{E}{X}_1^2<\infty \), and let (b n ) be an increasing sequence of positive numbers such that b n ?↑?∞ and \( {b}_n/\sqrt{n}\downarrow 0\kern0.5em \mathrm{as}\kern0.5em n\to \infty \). We establish a moderate deviation principle of \( {\left({b}_n\sqrt{n}\right)}^{-1}{\sum}_{i=1}^n{X}_i \) under the condition

which is weaker than the classical exponential integrability condition. The results in the present paper weaken the assumptions of Chen [5] and extend partially the results of Eichelsbacher and Löwe [10].  相似文献

As a generalization to the heat semigroup on the Heisenberg group, the diffusion semigroup generated by the subelliptic operator L :=1/2 sum from i=1 to m X_i~2 on R~(m+d):= R~m× R~d is investigated, where X_i(x, y) = sum (σki?xk) from k=1 to m+sum (((A_lx)_i?_(yl)) from t=1 to d,(x, y) ∈ R~(m+d), 1 ≤ i ≤ m for σ an invertible m × m-matrix and {A_l}_1 ≤ l ≤d some m × m-matrices such that the Hrmander condition holds.We first establish Bismut-type and Driver-type derivative formulas with applications on gradient estimates and the coupling/Liouville properties, which are new even for the heat semigroup on the Heisenberg group; then extend some recent results derived for the heat semigroup on the Heisenberg group.  相似文献

For the linear positive Korovkin operator \(f\left( x \right) \to {t_n}\left( {f;x} \right) = \frac{1}{\pi }\int_{ - \pi }^\pi {f\left( {x + t} \right)E\left( t \right)dt} \), where E(x) is the Egervary–Szász polynomial and the corresponding interpolation mean \({t_{n,N}}\left( {f;x} \right) = \frac{1}{N}\sum\limits_{k = - N}^{N - 1} {{E_n}\left( {x - \frac{{\pi k}}{N}} \right)f\left( {\frac{{\pi k}}{N}} \right)} \), the Jackson-type inequalities \(\left\| {{t_{n,N}}\left( {f;x} \right) - f\left( x \right)} \right\| \leqslant \left( {1 + \pi } \right){\omega _f}\left( {\frac{1}{n}} \right),\left\| {{t_{n,N}}\left( {f;x} \right) - f\left( x \right)} \right\| \leqslant 2{\omega _f}\left( {\frac{\pi }{{n + 1}}} \right)\), where ωf (x) denotes the modulus of continuity, are proved for N > n/2. For ωf (x) ≤ Mx, the inequality \(\left\| {{t_{n,N}}\left( {f;x} \right) - f\left( x \right)} \right\| \leqslant \frac{{\pi M}}{{n + 1}}\). is established. As a consequence, an elementary derivation of an asymptotically sharp estimate of the Kolmogorov width of a compact set of functions satisfying the Lipschitz condition is obtained.  相似文献

We study the nonexistence of weak solutions of higher-order elliptic and parabolic inequalities of the following types: \(\sum {_{i = 1}^N\sum\nolimits_{{e_i} \leqslant {\alpha _i} \leqslant {m_i}} {D_{{x_i}}^{{\alpha _i}}\left( {{A_{{\alpha _i}}}\left( {x,u} \right)} \right)} \geqslant f\left( {x,u} \right),} x \in {\mathbb{R}^N}\), and \({u_t} + \sum {_{i = 1}^N\sum\nolimits_{{k_i} \leqslant {\beta _i} \leqslant {n_i}} {D_{{x_i}}^{{\beta _i}}\left( {{B_{{\beta _i}}}\left( {x,t,u} \right)} \right)} > g\left( {x,t,u} \right),\left( {x,t} \right)} \in {\mathbb{R}^N} \times {\mathbb{R}_ + }\), where l i , m i , k i , n i ∈ N satisfy the condition l i , k i > 1 for all i = 1,..., N, and A αi (x, u), B βi (x, t, u), f(x, u), and g(x, t, u) are some given Carathéodory functions. Under appropriate conditions on the functions A αi , B βi , f, and g, we prove theorems on the nonexistence of solutions of these inequalities.  相似文献

We study positive solutions of the following polyharmonic equation with Hardy weights associated to Navier boundary conditions on a half space:?????(-?)~mu(x)=u~p(x)/|x|~s,in R_+~n,u(x)=-?u(x)=…=(-?)~(m-1)u(x)=0,on ?R_+~n,(0.1)where m is any positive integer satisfying 02mn.We first prove that the positive solutions of(0.1)are super polyharmonic,i.e.,(-?)~iu0,i=0,1,...,m-1.(0.2) For α=2m,applying this important property,we establish the equivalence between (0.1) and the integral equation u(x)=c_n∫R_+~n(1/|x-y|~(n-α)-1/|x~*-y|~(n-α))u~p(y)/|y|~sdy,(0.3) where x~*=(x1,...,x_(n-1),-x_n) is the reflection of the point x about the plane R~(n-1).Then,we use the method of moving planes in integral forms to derive rotational symmetry and monotonicity for the positive solution of(0.3),in whichαcan be any real number between 0 and n.By some Pohozaev type identities in integral forms,we prove a Liouville type theorem—the non-existence of positive solutions for(0.1).  相似文献

In this paper we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition on the sequence of natural numbers {q n } such that the almost everywhere convergence of the cubic partial sums S qn (x) of the multiple Haar series Σn a nχn(x) and the condition lim inf \(\lambda \cdot mes\left\{ {x:\begin{array}{*{20}{c}} {\sup } \\ n \end{array}\left| {S{}_{qn}\left( x \right)} \right| \succ \lambda } \right\} = 0\), imply that the coefficients a n can be uniquely determined by the sum of the series. Also, we have obtained a necessary and sufficient condition for the series \(\sum\limits_{n = 1}^\infty {{\varepsilon _n}{a_n}} {\chi _n}\left( x \right)\) with an arbitrary bounded sequence {ε n} to be a Fourier-Haar series of an A-integrable function.  相似文献

We give a lower bound for the numerical index of the real space L p (µ) showing, in particular, that it is non-zero for p ≠ 2. In other words, it is shown that for every bounded linear operator T on the real space L p (µ), one has
$\sup \left\{ {|\int {|x{|^{p - 1}}{\rm{sign}}(x)Tx d\mu |:x \in {L_p}\left( \mu \right), ||x|| = 1} } \right\} \ge {{{M_p}} \over {12{\rm{e}}}}||T||$
where \({M_p} = {\max _{t \in \left[ {0,1} \right]}}{{|{t^{p - 1}} - t|} \over {1 + {t^p}}} > 0\) for every p ≠ 2. It is also shown that for every bounded linear operator T on the real space L p (µ), one has
$\sup \left\{ {\int {|x{|^{p - 1}}|Tx| d\mu :x \in {L_p}\left( \mu \right), ||x|| = 1} } \right\} \ge {1 \over {2{\rm{e}}}}||T||$

Divided differences forf (x, y) for completely irregular spacing of points (x i ,y i ) are developed here by a natural generalization of Newton's scheme. Existing bivariate schemes either iterate the one-dimensional scheme, thus constraining (x i ,y i ) to be at corners of rectangles, or give polynomials Σa jk x j y k having more coefficients than interpolation conditions. Here the generalizedn th divided difference is defined by (1)\(\left[ {01... n} \right] = \sum\limits_{i = 0}^n {A_i f\left( {x_i , y_i } \right)} \) where (2)\(\sum\limits_{i = 0}^n {A_i x_i^j , y_i^k = 0} \), and 1 for the last or (n+1)th equation, for every (j, k) wherej+k=0, 1, 2,... in the usual ascending order. The gen. div. diff. [01...n] is symmetric in (x i ,y i ), unchanged under translation, 0 forf (x, y) an, ascending binary polynomial as far asn terms, degree-lowering with respect to (X, Y) whenf(x, y) is any polynomialP(X+x, Y+y), and satisfies the 3-term recurrence relation (3) [01...n]=λ{[1...n]?[0...n?1]}, where (4) λ= |1...n|·|01...n?1|/|01...n|·|1...n?1|, the |...i...| denoting determinants inx i j y i k . The generalization of Newton's div. diff. formula is (5)

The main purpose of this paper is to establish the Hormander-Mihlin type theorem for Fourier multipliers with optimal smoothness on k-parameter Hardy spaces for k≥ 3 using the multiparameter Littlewood-Paley theory. For the sake of convenience and simplicity, we only consider the case k = 3, and the method works for all the cases k≥ 3:■where x =(x_1,x_2,x_3)∈R~(n_1)×R~(n_2)×R~(n_3) and ξ =(ξ_1,ξ_2,ξ_3)∈R~(n_1)×R~(n_2)×R~(n_3). One of our main results is the following:Assume that m(ξ) is a function on R~(n_1+n_2+n_3) satisfying ■ with s_i n_i(1/p-1/2) for 1≤i≤3. Then T_m is bounded from H~p(R~(n_1)×R~(n_2)×R~(n_3) to H~p(R~(n_1)×R~(n_2)×R~(n_3)for all 0 p≤1 and ■ Moreover, the smoothness assumption on s_i for 1≤i≤3 is optimal. Here we have used the notations m_(j,k,l)(ξ)=m(2~jξ_1,2~kξ_2,2~lξ_3)Ψ(ξ_1)Ψ(ξ_2)Ψ(ξ_3) and Ψ(ξ_i) is a suitable cut-off function on R~(n_i) for1≤i≤3, and W~(s_1,s_2,s_3) is a three-parameter Sobolev space on R~(n_1)×R~(n_2)× R~(n_3).Because the Fefferman criterion breaks down in three parameters or more, we consider the L~p boundedness of the Littlewood-Paley square function of T_mf to establish its boundedness on the multi-parameter Hardy spaces.  相似文献

The paper describes a systematic computational study of the prime counting function π(x) and three of its analytic approximations: the logarithmic integral \({\text{li}}{\left( x \right)}: = {\int_0^x {\frac{{dt}}{{\log \,t}}} }\), \({\text{li}}{\left( x \right)} - \frac{1}{2}{\text{li}}{\left( {{\sqrt x }} \right)}\), and \(R{\left( x \right)}: = {\sum\nolimits_{k = 1}^\infty {{\mu {\left( k \right)}{\text{li}}{\left( {x^{{1 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {1 k}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} k}} } \right)}} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\mu {\left( k \right)}{\text{li}}{\left( {x^{{1 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {1 k}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} k}} } \right)}} k}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} k} }\), where μ is the Möbius function. The results show that π(x)x) for 2≤x≤1014, and also seem to support several conjectures on the maximal and average errors of the three approximations, most importantly \({\left| {\pi {\left( x \right)} - {\text{li}}{\left( x \right)}} \right|} < x^{{1 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {1 2}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} 2}}\) and \( - \frac{2}{5}x^{{3 \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {3 2}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} 2}} < {\int_2^x {{\left( {\pi {\left( u \right)} - {\text{li}}{\left( u \right)}} \right)}du < 0} }\) for all x>2. The paper concludes with a short discussion of prospects for further computational progress.  相似文献

Suppose that m ≥ 2, numbers p 1, …, p m ∈ (1, +∞] satisfy the inequality \(\frac{1}{{{p_1}}} + \cdots + \frac{1}{{{p_m}}} < 1\), and functions \({\gamma _1} \in {L^{{p_1}}}\left( {{?^1}} \right), \cdots ,{\gamma _m} \in {L^{{p_m}}}\left( {{?^1}} \right)\) are given. It is proved that if the set of “resonance” points of each of these functions is nonempty and the “nonresonance” condition holds (both notions were defined by the author for functions in L p (?1), p ∈ (1, +∞]), then \(\mathop {\sup }\limits_{a,b \in {R^1}} \left| {\mathop \smallint \limits_a^b \prod\limits_{k = 1}^m {[{\gamma _k}\left( \tau \right) + \Delta {\gamma _k}\left( \tau \right)]} d\tau } \right| \leqslant C\prod\limits_{k = 1}^m {{{\left\| {{\gamma _k} + \Delta {\gamma _k}} \right\|}_{L_{ak}^{pk}\left( {{R^1}} \right)}}} \) where the constant C > 0 is independent of the functions \(\Delta {\gamma _k} \in L_{ak}^{pk}\left( {{?^1}} \right)\) and \(L_{ak}^{pk}\left( {{?^1}} \right) \subset {L^{pk}}\left( {{?^1}} \right)\), 1 ≤ km, are special normed spaces. A condition for the integral over ?1 of a product of functions to be bounded is also given.  相似文献

Let f and g be multiplicative functions of modulus 1. Assume that \( {\lim_{x \to \infty }}\frac{1}{x}\left| {\sum\nolimits_{n \leqslant x} {f(n)} } \right| = A > 0 \) and \( {\lim_{x \to \infty }}\frac{1}{x}\left| {\sum\nolimits_{n \leqslant x} {g(n)} } \right| = 0 \). We prove that, under these conditions,
$ \mathop {\lim }\limits_{x \to \infty } \frac{1}{x}\sum\limits_{n \leqslant x} {f(n)g(n + 1) = 0.}$
Concerning the Liouville function λ, we find an upper estimate for \( \frac{1}{x}\left| {\sum\limits_{n \leqslant x} {\lambda (n)\lambda (n + 1)} } \right| \) under the unproved hypothesis that L(s, χ) have Siegel zeros for an infinite sequence of L-functions.
