This paper presents the integral representations of the displacement and rotation fields of the micropolar continuum, and the regularized integral representations of the traction and couple vector. Thus the boundary integral equations and the boundary integro-differential equations are derived. In addition, the formulation for crack problems is given by both the boundary integral equations and the boundary integro-differential equations.  相似文献

This paper presents a fourth-order kernel-free boundary integral method for the time-dependent, incompressible Stokes and Navier-Stokes equations defined on irregular bounded domains. By the stream function-vorticity formulation, the incompressible flow equations are interpreted as vorticity evolution equations. Time discretization methods for the evolution equations lead to a modified Helmholtz equation for the vorticity, or alternatively, a modified biharmonic equation for the stream function with two clamped boundary conditions. The resulting fourth-order elliptic boundary value problem is solved by a fourth-order kernel-free boundary integral method, with which integrals in the reformulated boundary integral equation are evaluated by solving corresponding equivalent interface problems, regardless of the exact expression of the involved Green's function. To solve the unsteady Stokes equations, a four-stage composite backward differential formula of the same order accuracy is employed for time integration. For the Navier-Stokes equations, a three-stage third-order semi-implicit Runge-Kutta method is utilized to guarantee the global numerical solution has at least third-order convergence rate. Numerical results for the unsteady Stokes equations and the Navier-Stokes equations are presented to validate efficiency and accuracy of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, the geometrical design for the blade's surface in an impeller or for the profile of an aircraft, is modeled from the mathematical point of view by a boundary shape control problem for the Navier-Stokes equations. The objective function is the sum of a global dissipative function and the power of the fluid. The control variables are the geometry of the boundary and the state equations are the Navier-Stokes equations. The Euler-Lagrange equations of the optimal control problem are derived, which are an elliptic boundary value system of fourth order, coupled with the Navier-Stokes equations. The authors also prove the existence of the solution of the optimal control problem, the existence of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with mixed boundary conditions, the weak continuity of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with respect to the geometry shape of the blade's surface and the existence of solutions of the equations for the Gateaux derivative of the solution of the Navier-Stokes equations with respect to the geometry of the boundary.  相似文献

Stochastic Dirichlet and Neumann boundary value problems and stochastic mixed problems have been formulated. As a result the stochastic singular integral equations have been obtained. A way of solving these equations by means of discretization of a boundary using stochastic boundary elements has been presented, resulting in a set of random algebraic equations. It has been proved that for Dirichlet and Neumann problems probabilistic characteristics (i.e. moments: expected value and correlation function) fulfilled deterministic singular integral equations. A numerical method of evaluation of moments on a boundary and inside a domain has been presented.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the asymptotic relation between the solutions to the initial boundary value problem of the one-dimensional compressible full Navier-Stokes equations with outflow boundary condition and the associated Euler equations. We assume all the three characteristics to the corresponding Euler equations are all negative up to some small time, then we prove the existence and the stability of the boundary layers as long as the strength of the boundary layers is suitably small.  相似文献

A boundary integral method is developed for the mixed boundary value problem for the vector Helmholtz equation in R3. The obtained boundary integral equations for the unknown Cauchy data build a strong elliptic system of pseudodifferential equations which can therefore be used for numerical computations using Galerkin's procedure. We show existence, uniqueness and regularity of the solution of the integral equations. Especially we give the local "edge" behavior of the solution near the submanifold which divides the Dirichlet boundary from the Neumann boundary  相似文献

We study the well-posedness theory for the MHD boundary layer. The boundary layer equations are governed by the Prandtl-type equations that are derived from the incompressible MHD system with non-slip boundary condition on the velocity and perfectly conducting condition on the magnetic field. Under the assumption that the initial tangential magnetic field is not zero, we establish the local-i-time existence, uniqueness of solutions for the nonlinear MHD boundary layer equations. Compared with the well-posedness theory of the classical Prandtl equations for which the monotonicity condition of the tangential velocity plays a crucial role, this monotonicity condition is not needed for the MHD boundary layer. This justifies the physical understanding that the magnetic field has a stabilizing effect on MHD boundary layer in rigorous mathematics. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

Laplace transform methods are used to study the valuation of American call and put options with constant dividend yield, and to derive integral equations giving the location of the optimal exercise boundary. In each case studied, the main result of this paper is a nonlinear Fredholm-type integral equation for the location of the free boundary. The equations differ depending on whether the dividend yield is less than or exceeds the risk-free rate. These integral equations contain a transform variable, so the solution of the equations would involve finding the free boundary that satisfies the equations for all values of this transform variable. Expressions are also given for the transform of the value of the option in terms of this free boundary.  相似文献

In this survey paper, the synchronization will be initially studied for infinite dimensional dynamical systems of partial differential equations instead of finite dimensional systems of ordinary differential equations,and will be connected with the control theory via boundary controls in a finite time interval. More precisely,various kinds of exact boundary synchronization and approximate boundary synchronization will be introduced and realized by means of fewer boundary controls for a coupled system of wave equations with Dirichlet boundary controls. Moreover, as necessary conditions for various kinds of approximate boundary synchronization, criteria of Kalman's type are obtained. Finally, some prospects will be given.  相似文献

We present an analytical method for the computation of problems of incompressible boundary layer theory based on an application of the method of successive approximations. The system of equations is reduced to a form suitable for integration. Parameters characterizing the external flow and the body geometry are contained only in the coefficients of the system and do not enter into the boundary conditions. The transformed momentum equations are integrated across the boundary layer from a current value to infinity with the boundary conditions taken into account. If the integration is made from zero to infinity, then the equations pass over into the Kármán relations. Integrating the system of equations a second time, using the boundary conditions at the wall, we obtain a system of nonlinear integro-differential equations. To solve this system of equations we apply the method of successive approximations. To satisfy the boundary Conditions at infinity we introduce, at each step of the iterations, unknown “governing” functions. From the conditions at the outer side of the boundary layer we obtain additional equations for their determination. With the iterational algorithm formulated in this way, the boundary conditions, both on the body and at the outer side of the boundary layer; are satisfied automatically.We consider a locally self-similar approximation. In this case, relative to the “governing” functions, we obtain an algebraic system of equations. We write out the solution in the first approximation. The results obtained in the first approximation are compared with the results of finite-difference computations for a wide range of problems. The results obtained in this paper are compared with those obtained in [1] for the flow in the neighborhood of a stagnation point. An indication is given of the nonuniqueness of the solutions of the three-dimensional boundary layer equations.  相似文献

本文给出固壁边界上(即一个二维流形上) 的流体速度梯度和压力的二阶偏微分方程, 从而也给出边界上法向应力, 以及流体中运动物体所受的阻力和升力的计算公式. 本方法的创新在于边界上法向速度梯度不是通过在边界层内速度梯度的数值微分达到, 而是通过它与其他变量一起作为一组偏微分方程的解而得到, 证明边界层方程组的适定性问题, 并且给出解关于边界形状的Gâteaux 导数所满足的偏微分方程. 本文将本方法应用于飞机外形的形状最优控制, 给出阻力泛函关于形状第一变分的可计算形式. 数值例子表明, 用本方法得到的阻力精度比通用程序得到要高.  相似文献

In this paper we give, for the first time, an abstract interpretation of nonlocal boundary value problems for elliptic differential equations of the second order. We prove coerciveness and Fredholmness of nonlocal boundary value problems for the second order elliptic differential-operator equations. We apply then, in section 6, these results for investigation of nonlocal boundary value problems for the second order elliptic differential equations (one can find the references on the subject in the introduction and Chapter V in the book by A. L. Skubachevskii [27]). Abstract results obtained in this paper can be used for study of nonlocal boundary value problems for quasielliptic differential equations.  相似文献

In this paper we show boundary observability and boundary stabilizability by linear feedbacks for a class of nonlinear wave equations including the undamped Westervelt model used in nonlinear acoustics. We prove local existence for undamped generalized Westervelt equations with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions as well as global existence and exponential decay with absorbing type boundary conditions.  相似文献
