In this paper we study the existence of infinitely many periodic solutions for second-order Hamiltonian systems
$$\left\{ {\begin{array}{*{20}c} {\ddot u(t) + A(t)u(t) + \nabla F(t,u(t)) = 0,} \\ {u(0) - u(T) = \dot u(0) - \dot u(T) = 0,} \\ \end{array} } \right.$$
, where F(t, u) is even in u, and ?F(t, u) is of sublinear growth at infinity and satisfies the Ahmad-Lazer-Paul condition.

In this paper, we study the existence and multiplicity of homoclinic solutions for the following second-order p(t)-Laplacian–Hamiltonian systems
$$\frac{{\rm d}}{{\rm d}t}(|\dot{u}(t)|^{p(t)-2}\dot{u}(t))-a(t)|u(t)|^{p(t)-2}u(t)+\nabla W(t,u(t))=0,$$
where \({t \in \mathbb{R}}\), \({u \in \mathbb{R}^n}\), \({p \in C(\mathbb{R},\mathbb{R})}\) with p(t) > 1, \({a \in C(\mathbb{R},\mathbb{R})}\), \({W\in C^1(\mathbb{R}\times\mathbb{R}^n,\mathbb{R})}\) and \({\nabla W(t,u)}\) is the gradient of W(t, u) in u. The point is that, assuming that a(t) is bounded in the sense that there are constants \({0<\tau_1<\tau_2<\infty}\) such that \({\tau_1\leq a(t)\leq \tau_2 }\) for all \({t \in \mathbb{R}}\) and W(t, u) is of super-p(t) growth or sub-p(t) growth as \({|u|\rightarrow \infty}\), we provide two new criteria to ensure the existence and multiplicity of homoclinic solutions, respectively. Recent results in the literature are extended and significantly improved.

This paper is concerned with the following Kirchhoff-type equations:
$$\begin{aligned} \left\{ \begin{array}{ll} \displaystyle -\big (a+b\int _{\mathbb {R}^{3}}|\nabla u|^{2}\mathrm {d}x\big )\Delta u+ V(x)u+\mu \phi |u|^{p-2}u=f(x, u)+g(x,u), &{} \text{ in } \mathbb {R}^{3},\\ (-\Delta )^{\frac{\alpha }{2}} \phi = \mu |u|^{p}, &{} \text{ in } \mathbb {R}^{3},\\ \end{array} \right. \end{aligned}$$
where \(a>0,~b,~\mu \ge 0\) are constants, \(\alpha \in (0,3)\), \(p\in [2,3+2\alpha )\), the potential V(x) may be unbounded from below and \(\phi |u|^{p-2}u\) is a Hartree-type nonlinearity. Under some mild conditions on V(x), f(xu) and g(xu), we prove that the above system has infinitely many nontrivial solutions. Specially, our results cover the general Schrödinger equations, the Kirchhoff equations and the Schrödinger–Poisson system.

For a risk process R_u(t) = u + ct- X(t), t≥0, where u≥0 is the initial capital, c 0 is the premium rate and X(t), t≥0 is an aggregate claim process, we investigate the probability of the Parisian ruin P_S(u, T_u) = P{inf (t∈[0,S]_(s∈[t,t+T_u])) sup R_u(s) 0}, S, T_u 0.For X being a general Gaussian process we derive approximations of P_S(u, T_u) as u →∞. As a by-product, we obtain the tail asymptotic behaviour of the infimum of a standard Brownian motion with drift over a finite-time interval.  相似文献

In this paper we address the regularity issue of weak solution for the following linear drift–diffusion system with pressure
$$\begin{aligned} \partial _t u + b\cdot \nabla u -\Delta u + \nabla p = 0,\quad \mathrm {div}\,u=0,\quad u|_{t=0}(x)=u_0(x), \end{aligned}$$
where \(x\in \mathbb {R}^n\) and b is a given divergence-free vector field. Under some assumptions of the drift field b in the critical sense, and for the initial data \(u_0\in (L^2(\mathbb {R}^n))^n\), we prove that there exists a weak solution u(t) to this system such that u(t) for any time \(t>0\) is \(\alpha \)-Hölder continuous with \(\alpha \in (0,1)\). The proof of the Hölder regularity result utilizes a maximum-principle type method to improve the regularity of weak solution step by step.

The authors study a porous medium equation with a right-hand side. The operator has nonlocal diffusion effects given by an inverse fractional Laplacian operator. The derivative in time is also fractional and is of Caputo-type, which takes into account"memory". The precise model isD_t~αu- div(u(-Δ)~(-σ)u) = f, 0 σ 1/2.This paper poses the problem over {t ∈ R~+, x ∈ R~n} with nonnegative initial data u(0, x) ≥0 as well as the right-hand side f ≥ 0. The existence for weak solutions when f, u(0, x)have exponential decay at infinity is proved. The main result is H¨older continuity for such weak solutions.  相似文献

We deal with anomalous diffusions induced by continuous time random walks - CTRW in ?n. A particle moves in ?n in such a way that the probability density function u(·, t) of finding it in region Ω of ?n is given by ∫Ωu(x, t)dx. The dynamics of the diffusion is provided by a space time probability density J(x, t) compactly supported in {t ≥ 0}. For t large enough, u satisfies the equation
$$u\left( {x,t} \right) = \left[ {\left( {J - \delta } \right)*u} \right]\left( {x,t} \right)$$
, where δ is the Dirac delta in space-time. We give a sense to a Cauchy type problem for a given initial density distribution f. We use Banach fixed point method to solve it and prove that under parabolic rescaling of J, the equation tends weakly to the heat equation and that for particular kernels J, the solutions tend to the corresponding temperatures when the scaling parameter approaches 0.

We consider a bulk charge potential of the form
$$u(x) = \int\limits_\Omega {g(y)F(x - y)dy,x = ({x_1},{x_2},{x_3}) \in {\mathbb{R}^3},} $$
where Ω is a layer of small thickness h > 0 located around the midsurface Σ, which can be either closed or open, and F(x ? y) is a function with a singularity of the form 1/|x ? y|. We prove that, under certain assumptions on the shape of the surface Σ, the kernel F, and the function g at each point x lying on the midsurface Σ (but not on its boundary), the second derivatives of the function u can be represented as
$$\frac{{{\partial ^2}u(x)}}{{\partial {x_i}\partial {x_j}}} = h\int\limits_\Sigma {g(y)\frac{{{\partial ^2}F(x - y)}}{{\partial {x_i}\partial {x_j}}}} dy - {n_i}(x){n_j}(x)g(x) + {\gamma _{ij}}(x),i,j = 1,2,3,$$
where the function γij(x) does not exceed in absolute value a certain quantity of the order of h2, the surface integral is understood in the sense of Hadamard finite value, and the ni(x), i = 1, 2, 3, are the coordinates of the normal vector on the surface Σ at a point x.

We prove the existence of infinitely many solutions for
$$\begin{aligned} - \Delta u + V(x) u = f(u) \quad \text { in } \mathbb {R}^N, \quad u \in H^1(\mathbb {R}^N), \end{aligned}$$
where V(x) satisfies \(\lim _{|x| \rightarrow \infty } V(x) = V_\infty >0\) and some conditions. We require conditions on f(u) only around 0 and at \(\infty \).

We consider some class of non-linear systems of the form
$\dot x = A( \cdot )x + \sum\limits_{i = 1}^l {A_i ( \cdot )x(t - \tau _i (t)) + b( \cdot )u} ,$
where A(·) ∈ ? n × n , A i (·) ∈ ? n × n , b(·) ∈ ? n , whose coefficients are arbitrary uniformly bounded functionals.
A special type of the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is used to synthesize dynamic control described by the equation
$\dot u = \rho ( \cdot )u + (m( \cdot ),x),$
where ρ(·) ∈ ?1, m(·) ∈ ? n , which makes the system globally asymptotically stable. Also, the situation is considered where the control u enters into the system not directly but through a pulse element performing an amplitude-frequency modulation.

It is well known that the fundamental solution of
$${u_t}\left( {n,t} \right) = u\left( {n + 1,t} \right) - 2u\left( {n,t} \right) + u\left( {n - 1,t} \right),n \in \mathbb{Z},$$
with u(n, 0) = δ nm for every fixed m ∈ Z is given by u(n, t) = e ?2t I n?m (2t), where I k (t) is the Bessel function of imaginary argument. In other words, the heat semigroup of the discrete Laplacian is described by the formal series W t f(n) = Σ m∈Z e ?2t I n?m (2t)f(m). This formula allows us to analyze some operators associated with the discrete Laplacian using semigroup theory. In particular, we obtain the maximum principle for the discrete fractional Laplacian, weighted ? p (Z)-boundedness of conjugate harmonic functions, Riesz transforms and square functions of Littlewood-Paley. We also show that the Riesz transforms essentially coincide with the so-called discrete Hilbert transform defined by D. Hilbert at the beginning of the twentieth century. We also see that these Riesz transforms are limits of the conjugate harmonic functions. The results rely on a careful use of several properties of Bessel functions.

This paper is concerned with oscillation of the second-order quasilinear functional dynamic equation
$$(r(t)(x^\Delta (t))^\gamma )^\Delta + p(t)x^\beta (\tau (t)) = 0,$$
on a time scale \(\mathbb{T}\) where γ and β are quotient of odd positive integers, r, p, and τ are positive rd-continuous functions defined on \(\mathbb{T},\tau :\mathbb{T} \to \mathbb{T}\) and \(\mathop {\lim }\limits_{t \to \infty } \tau (t) = \infty \). We establish some new sufficient conditions which ensure that every solution oscillates or converges to zero. Our results improve the oscillation results in the literature when γ = β, and τ(t) ≤ t and when τ(t) > t the results are essentially new. Some examples are considered to illustrate the main results.

This paper is concerned with the existence of positive solutions of the third-order boundary value problem with full nonlinearity
$$\begin{aligned} \left\{ \begin{array}{lll} u'''(t)&{}=f(t,u(t),u'(t),u''(t)),\quad t\in [0,1],\\ u(0)&{}=u'(1)=u''(1)=0, \end{array}\right. \end{aligned}$$
where \(f:[0,1]\times \mathbb {R}^+\times \mathbb {R}^+\times \mathbb {R}^-\rightarrow \mathbb {R}^+\) is continuous. Under some inequality conditions on f as |(xyz)| small or large enough, the existence results of positive solution are obtained. These inequality conditions allow that f(txyz) may be superlinear, sublinear or asymptotically linear on x, y and z as \(|(x,y,z)|\rightarrow 0\) and \(|(x,y,z)|\rightarrow \infty \). For the superlinear case as \(|(x,y,z)|\rightarrow \infty \), a Nagumo-type growth condition is presented to restrict the growth of f on y and z. Our discussion is based on the fixed point index theory in cones.

The purpose of this paper is to use a three critical point theorem due to Ricceri to obtain the existence of at least three solutions for the following Sturm–Liouville boundary value problem with impulses
$\begin{cases}(\phi_{p}(x'(t)))'=(a(t)\phi_{p}(x)+\lambda f(t,x)+\mu h(x))g(x'(t)),\quad \mbox{a.e. }t\in[0,1],\\\Delta G(x'(t_{i}))=I_{i}(x(t_{i})),\quad i=1,2,\ldots,k,\\\alpha_{1}x(0)-\alpha_{2}x'(0)=0,\\\beta_{1}x(1)+\beta_{2}x'(1)=0,\end{cases}$
where p>1, φ p (x)=|x|p?2 x, λ, μ are positive parameters, \(G(x)=\int_{0}^{x}\frac{(p-1)|s|^{p-2}}{g(s)}\,ds\). The interest is that the nonlinear term includes x′. We exhibit the existence of at least three solutions and h(x) can be an arbitrary C 1 functional with compact derivative. As an application, an example is given to illustrate the results.

We further develop the method, devised earlier by the authors, which permits finding closed-form expressions for the optimal controls by elastic boundary forces applied at two ends, x = 0 and x = l, of a string. In a sufficiently large time T, the controls should take the string vibration process, described by a generalized solution u(x, t) of the wave equation
$$u_{tt} (x,t) - u_{tt} (x,t) = 0,$$
from an arbitrary initial state
$$\{ u(x,0) = \varphi (x), u_t (x,0) = \psi (x)$$
to an arbitrary terminal state
$$\{ u(x,T) = \hat \varphi (x), u_t (x,T) = \hat \psi (x).$$

In this work we obtain sufficient conditions for stabilizability by time-delayed feedback controls for the system
$\frac{{\partial w\left( {x,t} \right)}}{{\partial t}} = A(D_x )w(x,t) - A(D_x )u(x,t), x \in \mathbb{R}^n , t > h, $
where D x =(-i?/?x 1,...-i?/?x n ), A(σ) and B(σ) are polynomial matrices (m×m), det B(σ)≡0 on ? n , w is an unknown function, u(·,t)=P(D x )w(·,t?h) is a control, h>0. Here P is an infinite differentiable matrix (m×m), and the norm of each of its derivatives does not exceed Γ(1+|σ|2)γ for some Γ, γ∈? depending on the order of this derivative. Necessary conditions for stabilizability of this system are also obtained. In particular, we study the stabilizability problem for the systems corresponding to the telegraph equation, the wave equation, the heat equation, the Schrödinger equation and another model equation. To obtain these results we use the Fourier transform method, the Lojasiewicz inequality and the Tarski—Seidenberg theorem and its corollaries. To choose an appropriate P and stabilize this system, we also prove some estimates of the real parts of the zeros of the quasipolynomial det {Iλ-A(σ)+B(σ)P(σ)e -hλ.

We consider integrals of the form
$$I\left( {x,h} \right) = \frac{1}{{{{\left( {2\pi h} \right)}^{k/2}}}}\int_{{\mathbb{R}^k}} {f\left( {\frac{{S\left( {x,\theta } \right)}}{h},x,\theta } \right)} d\theta $$
, where h is a small positive parameter and S(x, θ) and f(τ, x, θ) are smooth functions of variables τ ∈ ?, x ∈ ? n , and θ ∈ ? k ; moreover, S(x, θ) is real-valued and f(τ, x, θ) rapidly decays as |τ| →∞. We suggest an approach to the computation of the asymptotics of such integrals as h → 0 with the use of the abstract stationary phase method.

We consider the existence of single and multi-peak solutions of the following nonlinear elliptic Neumann problem
$$\begin{aligned} \left\{ \begin{aligned} -\Delta u+\lambda ^{2} u&=Q(x)|u|^{p-2}u \qquad&\text {in} ~~~~\mathbb {R}^{N}_{+}, \\ \frac{\partial u }{\partial n}&=f(x,u) \qquad&\text {on}~~\partial \mathbb {R}^{N}_{+}, \end{aligned}\right. \end{aligned}$$
where \(\lambda \) is a large number, \(p\in (2,\frac{2N}{N-2})\) for \(N\ge 3\), f(xu) is subcritical about u and Q is positive and has some non-degenerate critical points in \(\mathbb {R}^{N}_{+}\). For \(\lambda \) large, we can get solutions which have peaks near the non-degenerate critical points of Q.

In this paper, we consider the two-dimensional Hausdorff operators on the power weighted Hardy space H_(|x|α)~1(R~2) ( -1 ≤α≤0), defined by H_(Φ,A)f(x)=∫R~2Φ(u)f(A(u)x)du,where Φ∈L_loc~1(R~2),A(u) = (α_(ij)(u))_(i,j=1)~2 is a 2×2 matrix, and each α_(i,j) is a measurablefunction. We obtain that HΦ,A is bounded from H_(|x|~α)~1(R~2) ( -1≤α≤0) to itself, if∫R2|Φ(u)‖det A~(-1)(u)|‖A(u)‖~(-α)ln(1+‖A~(-1)(u)‖~2/|det A~(-1)(u)|)du∞.This result improves some known theorems, and in some sense it is sharp.  相似文献
