We constructed a kind of continuous multivariate spline operators as the approximation tools of the multivariate functions on the Bd instead of the usual multivariate cardinal interpolation oper-ators of splines, and obtained the approximation error by this kind of spline operators. Meantime, by the results, we also obtained that the spaces of multivariate polynomial splines are weakly asymptoti-cally optimal for the Kolmogorov widths and the linear widths of some anisotropic Sobolev classes of smooth functions on Bd in the metric Lp(Bd).  相似文献

在L_q-范数逼近的意义下,确定了基于Chebyshev多项式零点的Lagrange插值多项式列和Hermite-Fejér插值多项式列在Wiener空间下的p-平均误差的弱渐近阶.从我们的结果可以看出,当2≤q<∞,1≤p<∞时,基于第一类Chebyshev多项式零点的Lagrange插值多项式列和Hermite-Fejér插值多项式列的p-平均误差弱等价于相应的最佳逼近多项式列的p-平均误差.在信息基计算复杂性的意义下,如果可允许信息泛函为计算函数在固定点的值,那么当1≤p,q<∞时,基于第一类Chebyshev多项式零点的Lagrange插值多项式列和Hermite-Fejér插值多项式列在Wiener空间下的p-平均误差弱等价于相应的最小非自适应p-平均信息半径.  相似文献

For the weighted approximation in Lp-norm,the authors determine the weakly asymptotic order for the p-average errors of the sequence of Hermite interpolation based on the Chebyshev nodes on the 1-fold integrated Wiener space.By this result,it is known that in the sense of information-based complexity,if permissible information functionals are Hermite data,then the p-average errors of this sequence are weakly equivalent to those of the corresponding sequence of the minimal p-average radius of nonadaptive information.  相似文献

For 1≤ p ∞, firstly we prove that for an arbitrary set of distinct nodes in [-1, 1], it is impossible that the errors of the Hermite-Fejr interpolation approximation in L p -norm are weakly equivalent to the corresponding errors of the best polynomial approximation for all continuous functions on [-1, 1]. Secondly, on the ground of probability theory, we discuss the p-average errors of Hermite-Fejr interpolation sequence based on the extended Chebyshev nodes of the second kind on the Wiener space. By our results we know that for 1≤ p ∞ and 2≤ q ∞, the p-average errors of Hermite-Fejr interpolation approximation sequence based on the extended Chebyshev nodes of the second kind are weakly equivalent to the p-average errors of the corresponding best polynomial approximation sequence for L q -norm approximation. In comparison with these results, we discuss the p-average errors of Hermite-Fejr interpolation approximation sequence based on the Chebyshev nodes of the second kind and the p-average errors of the well-known Bernstein polynomial approximation sequence on the Wiener space.  相似文献

由于分段三次参数Hermite插值的切矢往往被作为变量,故可对其进行优化以使得构造的插值曲线满足特定的要求.为了构造兼具保形性与光顺性的平面分段三次参数Hermite插值曲线,给出了一种通过同时极小化导数振荡和应变能来确定切矢的方法.首先以导数振荡函数和应变能函数为双目标建立了切矢满足的方程系统;然后证明了方程系统存在唯一解,并给出了解的具体表达式;最后给出了误差分析,并通过数值算例表明方法的有效性.结果表明,相对于导数振荡极小化方法和应变能极小化方法,所提出的导数振荡和应变能极小化方法同时兼顾了平面分段三次参数Hermite插值曲线的保形性和光顺性.  相似文献

The author obtains the excat values of the average n-K widths for some Sobolev classes defined by an ordinary differential operator $\[P(D) = \prod\limits_{i = 1}^r {D - {t_i}I),{t_i} \in R} \]$,in the metric L_p(R),$1\leq p\leq \infty$,and identifies some optimal subspaces.Furthermore,the optimal interpolation problem for these Sobolev classes is considered by sampling the function values at some countable sets of points distributed reasonably on R,and some exact results are obtained.  相似文献

In this article, the Fredholm integral equation of the second kind with endpoint weakly singular kernel is considered and suppose that the kernel possesses fractional Taylor''s expansions about the endpoints of the interval. For this type kernel, the fractional order interpolation is adopted in a small interval involving the singularity and piecewise cubic Hermite interpolation is used in the remaining part of the interval, which leads to a kind of fractional degenerate kernel method. We discuss the condition that the method can converge and give the convergence order. Furthermore, we design an adaptive mesh adjusting algorithm to improve the computational accuracy of the degenerate kernel method. Numerical examples confirm that the fractional order hybrid interpolation method has good computational results for the kernels involving endpoint weak singularities.  相似文献

Hermite interpolation is a very important tool in approximation theory and numerical analysis, and provides a popular method for modeling in the area of computer aided geometric design. However, the classical Hermite interpolant is unique for a prescribed data set,and hence lacks freedom for the choice of an interpolating curve, which is a crucial requirement in design environment. Even though there is a rather well developed fractal theory for Hermite interpolation that offers a large flexibility in the choice of interpolants, it also has the shortcoming that the functions that can be well approximated are highly restricted to the class of self-affine functions. The primary objective of this paper is to suggest a C1-cubic Hermite interpolation scheme using a fractal methodology, namely, the coalescence hidden variable fractal interpolation, which works equally well for the approximation of a self-affine and non-self-affine data generating functions. The uniform error bound for the proposed fractal interpolant is established to demonstrate that the convergence properties are similar to that of the classical Hermite interpolant. For the Hermite interpolation problem, if the derivative values are not actually prescribed at the knots, then we assign these values so that the interpolant gains global C2-continuity. Consequently, the procedure culminates with the construction of cubic spline coalescence hidden variable fractal interpolants. Thus, the present article also provides an alternative to the construction of cubic spline coalescence hidden variable fractal interpolation functions through moments proposed by Chand and Kapoor [Fractals, 15(1)(2007), pp. 41-53].  相似文献

The purpose of the present paper is to consider some weak asymptotic problems concerning the infinite-dimensional Kolmogorov widths, the infinite-dimensional linear widths, the infinite-dimensional Gel'fand widths and optimal recovery in Besov space. It is obvious to be found that the results obtained and methods used in Besov space are easily generalized, and hence in this paper these results in an extension of Besov spaces on Rd are stated and proved. We investigate the best approximation of some classes of functions defined on a $d$-dimensional torus ${\mbox{\smallbf T}}^d$ by the transfer manifold $H_n(\varphi)=\{\xxsum_{i=1}^n b_i\varphi(\cdot -a_i)\}$ in the Hilbert space $L_2({\mbox{\smallbf T}}^d)$. For Sobolev classes of functions $\tilde{W}_2^r$ we obtain two-sided estimates of the deviation ${\rm dist}(\tilde{W}_2^r,H_n(\varphi))$. We propose a general parametric local approach for functional C 2 Hermite shape preserving interpolation. The constructed interpolant is a parametric curve which interpolate values, first and second derivatives of a given function and reproduces the behavior of the data. The method is detailed for parametric curves with piecewise cubic components. For the selected space necessary and sufficient conditions are derived to ensure the convexity of the constructed interpolant. Monotonicity is also studied. The approximation order is investigated for both cases. The use of a parametric curves to interpolate data from a function can be considered a disadvantage of the scheme. However, the simple structure of the used curve greatly reduces such a disadvantage.  相似文献

In applications it is useful to compute the local average empirical statistics on u. A very simple relation exists when of a function f(u) of an input u from the local averages are given by a Haar approximation. The question is to know if it holds for higher order approximation methods. To do so, it is necessary to use approximate product operators defined over linear approximation spaces. These products are characterized by a Strang and Fix like condition. An explicit construction of these product operators is exhibited for piecewise polynomial functions, using Hermite interpolation. The averaging relation which holds for the Haar approximation is then recovered when the product is defined by a two point Hermite interpolation.  相似文献
