The phase shifting technique has recently seen application to many types of interferometers, including holographic, speckle and moiré systems for strain analysis. In these applications, close control of the phase shifts may be impossible due to the effect of mechanical vibrations, and this presents difficulties when extracting the phase information, since the reference phase shifts are generally assumed to be known. In this work, several approaches to the problem of determining the reference phase shifts in a perturbing environment are critically evaluated using computer simulations. The analyses provide a general relationship between precision and reference phase shift errors and demonstrate the performance of each method as certain idealised fringe pattern error parameters are varied. A practical example confirms the predictions of the numerical simulations and demonstrates the feasibility of using reference phase shift estimates to improve data reduction procedures.  相似文献

基于频谱干涉原理和傅里叶变换的模式对啁啾脉冲频域相移转换为脉冲瞬态时域相移的基本原理进行了理论研究;推导出频域—时域相移转换过程中的相移误差传递公式;给出啁啾脉冲时域相移的最小时间分辨受制于参考脉冲的频谱宽度.对相移转换过程进行了数值模拟和分析,结果显示:通过该方法可以得到具有瞬态特性的时域相移,且频域相移误差是以被缩小的形式转换到时域的,与相移误差传递公式计算的结果具有较好的一致性. 关键词: 频谱干涉 频域相移 啁啾脉冲 时域相移  相似文献

Pion-nucleon phase shifts below 270 MeV are derived from fixed t-dispersion relations using as input the π+p total cross sections measured by Bugg et al. below 290 MeV and CERN phase shifts above that energy. No particular high-energy model is needed.

It is pointed out that the predicted d-wave phase shifts — in contradiction to those belonging to earlier phase-shift solutions — are in good agreement with partial-wave dispersion relations and recent information on the helicity amplitudes describing the process . Furthermore our prediction for the P13 wave has very recently got strong support from the work by Bugg et al. on pion-nucleon charge-exchange scattering.  相似文献

High-order inertial phase shifts are calculated for time-domain atom interferometers. We obtain closed-form analytic expressions for these shifts in accelerometer, gyroscope, optical clock and photon recoil measurement configurations. Our analysis includes Coriolis, centrifugal, gravitational, and gravity gradient-induced forces. We identify new shifts which arise at levels relevant to current and planned experiments. The feasibility and limitation of directly using the Lissajous figure and ellipse fitting technology to correct the phase extraction error in generalized data reduction algorithm (GDRA) for phase extraction of randomly phase-shifted interferograms are analyzed and discussed. By combining Lissajous calibration technology, which represents the transformative process of Lissajous ellipse to circle (ETC), with advanced iterative algorithm (AIA) we propose a novel generalized phase shifting algorithm (GPSA), and here it is abbreviated as ETCI method. The phase distribution and phase shifts that extracted from randomly phase shifted interferograms by use of ETCI are more accurate and the whole process is far faster than AIA. Additionally, proposed method is less sensitive to non-uniform background intensity and modulation amplitude. Numerical simulations are conducted to evaluate the performance of ETCI, and some influential factors are elaborated. The experimental results further indicate proposed method is suitable for truly random phase shifted interferograms.  相似文献

The behaviors of coupled oscillators, each of which has periodic motion with random natural frequency in the absence of coupling, are investigated when phase shifts are considered. In the system of coupled oscillators, phase shifts are the same between different oscillators. Synchronization and synchronization transition are revealed with different phase shifts. Phase shifts play an important role for this kind of system. When the phase shift α<0.5π, the synchronization state can be attained by increasing the coupling, and the system cannot reach the synchronization state while α≥q0.5π. A clear scaling between complete synchronization critical coupling strength K_pc and α-0.5π is found.  相似文献

A recently developed experimental platform in polymer nanofluidics [, ] is used to investigate the glassy dynamics of phase-separated block-copolymers during capillary flow into cylindrical nanopores. The flow process is monitored by means of broadband dielectric spectroscopy. Due to the break in the symmetry induced by the geometrical confinement, a structural transition in the polymer morphology is observed, no shifts in the position of the dynamic glass transition are detected.  相似文献

Two new hybrid eighth-algebraic-order two-step methods with phase lag of order 12 and 14 are developed for computing elastic scattering phase shifts of the one-dimensional Schrödinger equation. Based on these new methods we obtain a new variable-step procedure for the numerical integration of the Schrödinger equation. Numerical results obtained for the integration of the phase shift problem for the well-known case of the Lennard-Jones potential show that these new methods are better than other finite-difference methods.  相似文献

A simple phase-shift extraction algorithm is proposed for interferograms recorded with random phase shifts that vary over at least 2π. The phase-shift-dependent changes in the intensity at two pixels having different phases, selected from one frame, are taken out and normalized. The sum and difference of the two normalized changes are calculated, and both the changes are normalized again along the phase shifts. The normalized sum and difference become the cosine and sine of a term including the random phase shift, respectively. Thereby, the phase shifts are extracted from both twice-normalized intensity changes. An experiment using an interference microscope equipped with a piezoelectric-transducer positioner of an objective lens is conducted to estimate the validity of the algorithm. The algorithm is verified to have satisfactory results when the multiple interferograms used have a sample size of more than 15 frames recorded with random phase shifts.  相似文献

As an application of the inverse scattering technique of Marchenko to nucleon nucleon interactions, thenp 1 S 0 partial wave potential is generated. Experimental phase shifts of the Virginia and Saclay group serve as input. The mathematically derived potentials are discussed in view of uncertainties of input phase shifts and they are compared with potentials from Reid and the Paris group. The low temperature phase transformation in the Cu_2ZnSnS_4(CZTS) films was investigated by laser annealing and low temperature thermal annealing.The Raman measurements show that a-high-power laser annealing could cause a red shift of the Raman scattering peaks of the kesterite(KS) structure and promotes the formation of the partially disordered kesterite(PD-KS) structure in the CZTS films,and the low-temperature thermal annealing only shifts the Raman scattering peak of KS phase by several wavenumber to low frequency and the broads Raman peaks in the low frequency region.Moreover,the above two processes were reversible.The Raman analyses of the CZTS samples prepared under different process show that the PD-KS structure tends to be found at low temperatures and low sulfur vapor pressures.Our results reveal that the control of the phase structure in CZTS films is feasible by adjusting the preparation process of the films.  相似文献

This work studies the biphotonic effect in samples that are cholesteric liquid crystals (CLCs) doped with azo-C5. The experimental results show that the photo-isomerization of azo-C5 not only changes the clearing point of the sample, but also shifts the reflection band that is associated with the planar texture. Additionally, azo dye-doped CLCs (DDCLCs) have bi-stable or tri-stable states, as determined by the ambient temperature. Photo-switching between these bi-stable/tri-stable states is systematically studied. The result indicates that photo-addressing one of these states (planar, focal conic, and isotropic states) using a low- or high-intensity Ar+ laser beam is feasible. The results thus obtained are used to fabricate a photo-rewritable DDCLC display.  相似文献

In this paper we present a method which avoids—in RGM calculations—ex0licit evaluations of overlap kernels in configuration space. Phase shifts are directly calculated by the use ofT-matrix formalism, without resorting to numerical evaluations of non-local Schrödinger equations. Different two body potentials can be directly compared within the very same RGM calculation. As an example, we evaluateS waveI=1,0K?N phase shifts for three different sorts of quark-quark potentials: The ones used by Bhaduri et al. [3], Bender et al. [4], and finally by Campbell and Robson [8]. These phase shifts are shown to depend sharply on the details of the adopted interquark force, therefore distinguishing among potentials which otherwise fare equally well for spectroscopic calculations. None of the above mentioned potentials suffice to explain the experimentally observedS waveK?N phase shifts.  相似文献

Within the one-loop approximation of baryon chiral perturbation theory we calculate all one-pion and two-pion exchange contributions to the nucleon-nucleon interaction. In fact we construct the elastic NN-scattering amplitude up to and including third order in small momenta. The phase shifts with orbital angular momentum L ≥2 and the mixing angles with J ≥ 2 are given parameter free and thus allow for a detailed test of chiral symmetry in the two-nucleon system. We find that for the D-waves the 2π-exchange corrections are too large as compared with empirical phase shifts, signaling the increasing importance of shorter range effects in lower partial waves. For higher partial waves, especially for G-waves, the model-independent 2π-exchange corrections bring the chiral prediction close to empirical NN phase shifts. We propose to use the chiral NN phase shifts with L ≥ 3 as input in a future phase-shift analysis. Furthermore, we compute the irreducible two-pion exchange NN potentials in coordinate space. They turn out to be of van der Waals type, with exponential screening of two-pion mass range.  相似文献

The Gibbs and Maxwell constructions for the hadron-quark phase transition in neutron and protoneutron stars, including interacting hyperons in the confined phase, are compared. We find that the hyperon populations are suppressed and that neutrino trapping shifts the onset of the phase transition. The effects on the (proto)neutron star maximum mass are explored.  相似文献

The nonlinear interaction between electron-acoustic shock waves in a dissipative, non-Maxwellian plasma composed of cold fluid electrons, stationary background ions, and inertialess superthermal electrons has been studied. The effects of plasma parameters on the trajectory changes (i.e., phase shifts) of shock waves after their head-on collision is our main concern. The results indicate that the interactions between shocks are different from those of solitons. Also, it is found that the occurrence and variation of trajectory shifts may be due to the combined role played by the dispersion and dissipation of the colliding nonlinear structure.  相似文献

The rapid progress of modern manufacturing and inspection technologies has posed stringent requirements on optical techniques for vibration characterization and dynamic testing. Due to its simplicity, accuracy and whole-field characters, laser speckle interferometry has served as one of the major techniques for dynamic measurement. In this paper, a two-step phase shifting method is developed for quantitative speckle phase measurement, which helps to eliminate the specklegrams needed for phase evaluation and facilitate dynamic measurement. Unlike previously reported two-step methods using fringe patterns with known phase shift of π/2, a small unknown phase shift is employed instead in the proposed method, which eliminates the need for phase shifting devices. Further investigation shows that small phase shifts are preferable over large phase shifts in this method. Shearographic experiments conducted have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed technique.  相似文献

We present a novel single-step fabrication approach, based on optical phase engineering, for tunable complex photonic chiral lattices of diverse geometries in a large area. By means of engineered reconfigurable phase patterns, we computationally simulate as well as experimentally investigate these complex structures. We show the generation of both periodic right- and left-handed chiral structures as well as photonic transversely quasi-crystallographic chiral structures. These complex chiral lattices are also demonstrated in a photorefractive material, and the lattice formation is analyzed by plane-wave-guided imaging as well as diffraction pattern imaging. Furthermore, complex photonic chiral structures with engineered tunable relative phase shifts between adjacent spiral units realizable in a single step are explored and analyzed.  相似文献
