Tungstophosphoric acid nanoparticles supported on polyamic acid: A mild and recoverable heterogeneous catalyst for the selective synthesis of mono and bulky bis(1,8-dioxooctahydroxanthene)s under solvent-free conditions

A series of 1,8-dioxooctahydroxanthene derivatives and some crowded bis(1,8-dioxooctahdroxanthene) were selectively synthesized using tungstophosphoric acid nanoparticles supported on polyamic acid (TPA/PAA) as a new catalyst in solvent-free conditions. The high purity products were isolated and catalyst was easily separated in simple work-up and was recycled several times without loss of reactivity under the described reaction conditions. The reaction is characterized by short reaction time, high efficiency and environmentally friendly reaction conditions.     

Straightforward and highly efficient catalyst-free one-pot synthesis of dithiocarbamates under solvent-free conditions

[Structure: see text] A highly efficient and simple synthesis of dithiocarbamates is possible based on the one-pot reaction of amines, CS2, and alkyl halides without using a catalyst under solvent-free conditions. The mild reaction conditions, high yields, and broad scope of the reaction illustrate the good synthetic utility of this method. The reaction is a highly atom-economic process for production of S-alkyl thiocarbamates and successfully can be used in high quantities in the pharmaceutical or agrochemical industries.     

A modified Pudovik reaction,self-catalysis synthesis of 3-phosphinoylindoles

A new method for the synthesis of organophosphorus compounds between 3-hydroxy-3-indolyloxindoles and phosphite is described here. A modified Pudovik reaction is an efficient way applied in this approach. To be specific, this reaction proceeds smoothly under mild conditions with a self-catalysis system, diversely substituted α-functionalized phosphates are afforded with quaternary stereocenters in high yield, and the reaction time is acceptable due to the high reactivity.     

Microwave-promoted cross-coupling of acid chlorides with arylboronic acids: a convenient method for preparing aromatic ketones

Simple catalytic systems for cross-coupling reactions of acyl chlorides with arylboronic acids under microwave conditions were tested. Microwave irradiation facilitated the reaction course. Mild reaction conditions afford the symmetrical and unsymmetrical aryl ketones in reasonable to high yields within a short time. A wide range of substrates bearing an electron-donating or an electron-withdrawing substituent on aryl ring of acid chloride as well as on boronic acid were examined and high yields of ketones were produced.     

Facile and green synthesis of triarylmethanes using silica sulfuric acid as a reusable catalyst under solvent-free conditions

A facile and environmentally-benign protocol has been developed for the synthesis of triarylmethanes (TAMs) from the reaction of different arenes and aldehydes in the presence of silica sulfuric acid (SSA) as a heterogeneous and reusable catalyst under solvent-free conditions. Easy work-up, short reaction times, high yields, high selectivity, mild and green conditions are other salient features of this method.     

Amberlite-IR 120 catalyzed three-component synthesis of α-amino phosphonates in one-pot

A simple, efficient, and environmentally benign method for a three-component reaction of an amine, an aldehyde or a ketone, and diethyl phosphite catalyzed by Amberlite-IR 120 resin has been developed to afford α-amino phosphonates in high yields and short reaction times under solvent-free reaction conditions. The major advantages of the present method are good yields, inexpensive, ecofriendly and reusable catalyst, mild and solvent-free reaction conditions and tolerance towards various functionalities present in the substrates.     

Nitroaldol Reaction Catalyzed by Tris(2,4,6‐trimethoxyphenyl)phosphine (TTMPP)

A nitroaldol reaction (Henry reaction) proceeded under mild conditions with the aid of a catalytic amount of tris(2,4,6‐trimethoxyphenyl)phosphine (TTMPP) to afford β‐nitro alkanol in high yield.     

Phosphine‐Catalyzed Asymmetric Umpolung Addition of Trifluoromethyl Ketimines to Morita–Baylis–Hillman Carbonates

A novel phosphine‐catalyzed, highly enantioselective umpolung addition of trifluoromethyl ketimines to Morita–Baylis–Hillman carbonates was developed and it provides facile access to optically active trifluoromethyl amines with a chiral tertiary stereocenter under mild reaction conditions. The salient features of this reaction include general substrate scope, mild reaction conditions, good yields, high enantioselectivity, ease of scale‐up to gram scale, and further transformations of the products.

主要研究了二硫代氨基甲酸酯衍生物的合成,将脂肪胺、CS2与α,β-不饱和羰基化合物或卤代烃在无溶剂无催化剂室温条件下,"一锅法"进行了Michael-type的加成反应,合成了二硫代氨基甲酸酯衍生物.该方法产率高,操作简单,是一种原子经济的合成方法,并可大规模地用于制药及农药方面.     

An interrupted Ugi reaction enables the preparation of substituted indoxyls and aminoindoles

In a variation of the classical Ugi reaction, an acid-promoted reaction between imines and isocyanides forms both 3-aminoindoles and substituted indoxyls. A recently reported triflyl phosphoramide is shown to be critical to obtain high yields under mild conditions.     

Highly efficient and catalyst-free synthesis of unsymmetrical thioureas under solvent-free conditions

A highly efficient and simple synthesis of unsymmetrical thioureas is reported based on the reaction of readily synthesized dithiocarbamates with amines, without using any catalyst under solvent-free conditions. The short reaction time, high yields, and solvent-free conditions are advantages of this method. We did not observe the formation of any symmetric disubstituted thiourea, under these reaction conditions.     

Brønsted-acid-catalyzed activation of nitroalkanes: a direct enantioselective aza-Henry reaction

A direct asymmetric organocatalytic aza-Henry reaction has been developed in which a new bifunctional Br?nsted-acid-catalyzed activation of nitroalkanes provides an efficient access to alpha,beta-diamino acids with high dia- and enantioselectivities under mild and base-free reaction conditions.     

An efficient and highly selective deprotecting method for beta-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxymethyl ethers

A series of beta-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxymethyl ethers were hydrolyzed to their corresponding alcohols in high yields by using a catalytic amount of CBr4 (15%) in MeOH under refluxing reaction conditions. The chemoselective deprotection between trialkylsilyl and beta-(trimethylsilyl)ethoxymethyl-protected alcohols can be achieved by using an alcohol with steric hindrance such as iPrOH. The selectivity also can be achieved in the CBr4/MeOH reaction mixture under ultrasonic reaction conditions.     

Facile O-arylation of phenols and carboxylic acids

[reaction: see text] A facile, transition-metal-free O-arylation procedure for phenols and aromatic carboxylic acids has been developed that affords good to excellent yields of arylated products under very mild reaction conditions. A methoxy-substituted aryl triflate affords O-arylated products in high yields with excellent regioselectivity. This chemistry tolerates a variety of functional groups.     

Facile,one-pot synthesis of new phenanthridine derivatives through 1,4-dipolar cycloaddition of phenantridine,activated acetylenes,and aromatic aldehydes

A facile, one-pot synthesis of new phenanthridine derivatives by a three-component reaction between phenantridine, dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates（DAADs）, and aromatic aldehydes is described. The reaction is characterized by mild conditions, high selectivity, and tolerance to various functional groups.     

Synthesis of alkoxymethyl derivatives of resorcinarene via the Mannich reaction catalysed with iminodiacetic acid

The conditions of a simple synthesis of tetra(alkoxymethyl) derivatives of resorcinarene via the Mannich reaction catalysed with iminodiacetic acid are described. A possibility of high yield synthesis of such derivatives for the selected straight-chain alcohols is shown. A possible mechanism of this reaction is suggested.     

Synthesis of Highly Substituted Pyridines through Copper-Catalyzed Condensation of Oximes and α,β-Unsaturated Imines

A copper-catalyzed condensation reaction of oxime acetates and α,β-unsaturated ketimines to give pyridine derivatives is reported. The reaction features mild conditions, high functional-group compatibility, and high regioselectivity with respect to unsymmetrical oxime acetates, thus allowing the preparation of a wide range of polysubstituted pyridines, many of which are not readily accessible by conventional condensation methods.     

Facile N-arylation of amines and sulfonamides

[reaction: see text] A facile, transition-metal-free N-arylation procedure for amines and sulfonamides has been developed, which affords good to excellent yields of arylated products under very mild reaction conditions. A methoxy-substituted aryl triflate affords N-arylated products in high yields with excellent regioselectivity. This chemistry tolerates a variety of functional groups.     

Palladium-Catalyzed Low Pressure Carbonylation of Allylic Alcohols by Catalytic Anhydride Activation

A direct carbonylation of allylic alcohols has been realized for the first time with high catalyst activity at low pressure of CO (10 bar). The procedure is described in detail for the carbonylation of E-nerolidol, an important step in a new BASF-route to (−)-ambrox. Key to high activities in the allylic alcohol carbonylation is the finding that catalytic amounts of carboxylic anhydride activate the substrate and are constantly regenerated with carbon monoxide under the reaction conditions. The identified reaction conditions are transferrable to other substrates as well.     

Microwave-assisted synthesis of 3-substituted-6-ferrocene methylene-1,2,4-triazolo[3,4-<Emphasis Type="Italic">b</Emphasis>]-1,3,4-thiadiazoles

A series of triazolo-thiadiazole derivatives containing ferrocene were synthesized under microwave assistance. Compared with the phosphorus oxychloride method, the microwave method has the advantages of simple operation, short reaction time, fast reaction rate and high yield. The effects of different reaction conditions were explored, and under the optimized conditions, the products were obtained in good yields (up to 80%).
