In the context of deformation quantization, there exist various procedures to deal with the quantization of a reduced space Mred. We shall be concerned here mainly with the classical Marsden-Weinstein reduction, assuming that we have a proper action of a Lie group G on a Poisson manifold M, with a moment map J for which zero is a regular value. For the quantization, we follow Bordemann et al. (2000) [6] (with a simplified approach) and build a star product red? on Mred from a strongly invariant star product ? on M. The new questions which are addressed in this paper concern the existence of natural -involutions on the reduced quantum algebra and the representation theory for such a reduced -algebra.We assume that ? is Hermitian and we show that the choice of a formal series of smooth densities on the embedded coisotropic submanifold C=J−1(0), with some equivariance property, defines a -involution for red? on the reduced space. Looking into the question whether the corresponding -involution is the complex conjugation (which is a -involution in the Marsden-Weinstein context) yields a new notion of quantized modular class. We introduce a left (C(M)?λ?,?)-submodule and a right (C(Mred)?λ?,red?)-submodule of C(C)?λ?; we define on it a C(Mred)?λ?-valued inner product and we establish that this gives a strong Morita equivalence bimodule between C(Mred)?λ? and the finite rank operators on . The crucial point is here to show the complete positivity of the inner product. We obtain a Rieffel induction functor from the strongly non-degenerate -representations of (C(Mred)?λ?,red?) on pre-Hilbert right D-modules to those of (C(M)?λ?,?), for any auxiliary coefficient -algebra D over C?λ?.  相似文献

For 0<p,α<∞, let ‖fp,α be the Lp-norm with respect the weighted measure . We define the weighted Bergman space Aαp(D) consisting of holomorphic functions f with ‖fp,α<∞. For any σ>0, let Aσ(D) be the space consisting of holomorphic functions f in D with . If D has C2 boundary, then we have the embedding Aαp(D)⊂A−(n+α)/p(D). We show that the condition of C2-smoothness of the boundary of D is necessary by giving a counter-example of a convex domain with C1,λ-smooth boundary for 0<λ<1 which does not satisfy the embedding.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish sharp two-sided estimates for the Green functions of relativistic stable processes (i.e. Green functions for non-local operators m−(m2/αΔ)α/2) in half-space-like C1,1 open sets. The estimates are uniform in m∈(0,M] for each fixed M∈(0,). When m0, our estimates reduce to the sharp Green function estimates for −(−Δ)α/2 in such kind of open sets that were obtained recently in Chen and Tokle [12]. As a tool for proving our Green function estimates, we show that a boundary Harnack principle for Xm, which is uniform for all m∈(0,), holds for a large class of non-smooth open sets.  相似文献

In the smooth scattering theory framework, we consider a pair of self-adjoint operators H0, H and discuss the spectral projections of these operators corresponding to the interval (−∞,λ). The purpose of the paper is to study the spectral properties of the difference D(λ) of these spectral projections. We completely describe the absolutely continuous spectrum of the operator D(λ) in terms of the eigenvalues of the scattering matrix S(λ) for the operators H0 and H. We also prove that the singular continuous spectrum of the operator D(λ) is empty and that its eigenvalues may accumulate only at “thresholds” in the absolutely continuous spectrum.  相似文献

Let M be a II-factor and denote by τ its normal faithful semi-finite trace. For any rearrangement invariant Köthe function space X on [0,+∞[, let X(M,τ) be the associated non-commutative Banach function space. This paper is concerned with ideals in M of the form IX(M,τ)=MX(M,τ) that are contained in Lp(M,τ) for some p>0. It is proved that an element T in IX(M,τ) is a finite sum of commutators of the form [A,B] with AIX(M,τ) and BM if and only if the function belongs to X, where νT is the Brown spectral measure of T and tλt(T) is the non-increasing rearrangement of the function λ→|λ| with respect to νT. This extends to general Banach function spaces a result obtained by Kalton for quasi-Banach ideals of compact operators and implies that the Dixmier's trace of a quasi-nilpotent element in L1,∞(M,τ) is always zero.  相似文献

We consider nonnegative solutions of a parabolic equation in a cylinder D×I, where D is a noncompact domain of a Riemannian manifold and I=(0,T) with 0<T?∞ or I=(−∞,0). Under the assumption [SSP] (i.e., the constant function 1 is a semismall perturbation of the associated elliptic operator on D), we establish an integral representation theorem of nonnegative solutions: In the case I=(0,T), any nonnegative solution is represented uniquely by an integral on (D×{0})∪(MD×[0,T)), where MD is the Martin boundary of D for the elliptic operator; and in the case I=(−∞,0), any nonnegative solution is represented uniquely by the sum of an integral on MD×(−∞,0) and a constant multiple of a particular solution. We also show that [SSP] implies the condition [SIU] (i.e., the associated heat kernel is semi-intrinsically ultracontractive).  相似文献

Assume that the differential operator −DpD+q in L2(0,∞) has 0 as a regular point and that the limit-point case prevails at ∞. If p≡1 and q satisfies some smoothness conditions, it was proved by Gelfand and Levitan that the spectral functions σ(t) for the Sturm-Liouville operator corresponding to the boundary conditions (pu′)(0)=τu(0), , satisfy the integrability condition . The boundary condition u(0)=0 is exceptional, since the corresponding spectral function does not satisfy such an integrability condition. In fact, this situation gives an example of a differential operator for which one can construct an analog of the Friedrichs extension, even though the underlying minimal operator is not semibounded. In the present paper it is shown with simple arguments and under mild conditions on the coefficients p and q, including the case p≡1, that there exists an analog of the Friedrichs extension for nonsemibounded second order differential operators of the form −DpD+q by establishing the above mentioned integrability conditions for the underlying spectral functions.  相似文献

For Banach space operators T satisfying the Tadmor-Ritt condition ||(zIT)−1||?C|z−1|−1, |z|>1, we prove that the best-possible constant CT(n) bounding the polynomial calculus for T, ||p(T)||?CT(n)||p||, deg(p)?n, behaves (in the worst case) as as n→∞. This result is based on a new free (Carleson type) interpolation theorem for polynomials of a given degree.  相似文献

Let H2(D2) be the Hardy space over the bidisk. For sequences of Blaschke products {φn(z):−∞<n<∞} and {ψn(w):−∞<n<∞} satisfying some additional conditions, we may define a Rudin type invariant subspace M. We shall determine the rank of H2(D2)?M for the pair of operators and .  相似文献

The structure of positive boundary blow-up solutions to quasi-linear elliptic problems of the form −Δpu=λf(u), u=∞ on ∂Ω, 1<p<∞, is studied in a bounded smooth domain , for a class of nonlinearities fC1((0,∞)?{z2})∩C0[0,∞) satisfying f(0)=f(z1)=f(z2)=0 with 0<z1<z2, f<0 in (0,z1)∪(z2,∞), f>0 in (z1,z2). Large, small and intermediate solutions are obtained for λ sufficiently large. It is known from Part I (see Structure of boundary blow-up solutions for quasilinear elliptic problems, part (I): large and small solutions, preprint), that the large solution is the unique large solution to the problem. We will see that the small solution is also the unique small solution to the problem while there are infinitely many intermediate solutions. Our results are new even for the case p=2.  相似文献

Let X be an infinite dimensional real reflexive Banach space with dual space X and GX, open and bounded. Assume that X and X are locally uniformly convex. Let T:XD(T)→2X be maximal monotone and strongly quasibounded, S:XD(S)→X maximal monotone, and C:XD(C)→X strongly quasibounded w.r.t. S and such that it satisfies a generalized (S+)-condition w.r.t. S. Assume that D(S)=LD(T)∩D(C), where L is a dense subspace of X, and 0∈T(0),S(0)=0. A new topological degree theory is introduced for the sum T+S+C, with degree mapping d(T+S+C,G,0). The reason for this development is the creation of a useful tool for the study of a class of time-dependent problems involving three operators. This degree theory is based on a degree theory that was recently developed by Kartsatos and Skrypnik just for the single-valued sum S+C, as above.  相似文献

Recently Bezerra, Garcia and Stichtenoth constructed an explicit tower F=(Fn)n?0 of function fields over a finite field Fq3, whose limit λ(F)=limn→∞N(Fn)/g(Fn) attains the Zink bound λ(F)?2(q2−1)/(q+2). Their proof is rather long and very technical. In this paper we replace the complex calculations in their work by structural arguments, thus giving a much simpler and shorter proof for the limit of the Bezerra, Garcia and Stichtenoth tower.  相似文献

A Banach space operator TB(X) is said to be totally hereditarily normaloid, TTHN, if every part of T is normaloid and every invertible part of T has a normaloid inverse. The operator T is said to be an H(q) operator for some integer q?1, TH(q), if the quasi-nilpotent part H0(Tλ)=(Tλ)q(0) for every complex number λ. It is proved that if T is algebraically H(q), or T is algebraically THN and X is separable, then f(T) satisfies Weyl's theorem for every function f analytic in an open neighborhood of σ(T), and T satisfies a-Weyl's theorem. If also T has the single valued extension property, then f(T) satisfies a-Weyl's theorem for every analytic function f which is non-constant on the connected components of the open neighborhood of σ(T) on which it is defined.  相似文献

Upper bounds are obtained for the heat content of an open set D with singular initial condition f on a complete Riemannian manifold, provided (i) the Dirichlet-Laplace-Beltrami operator satisfies a strong Hardy inequality, and (ii) f satisfies an integrability condition. Precise asymptotic results for the heat content are obtained for an open bounded and connected set D in Euclidean space with C2 boundary, and with initial condition f(x)=δ(x)α,0<α<2, where δ(x) is the distance from x to the boundary of D.  相似文献

This paper adapts a technical device going back to [J. López-Gómez, Optimal uniqueness theorems and exact blow-up rates of large solutions, J. Differential Equations 224 (2006) 385-439] to ascertain the blow-up rate of the (unique) radially symmetric large solution given through the main theorem of [J. López-Gómez, Uniqueness of radially symmetric large solutions, Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst., Supplement dedicated to the 6th AIMS Conference, Poitiers, France, 2007, pp. 677-686]. The requested underlying estimates are based upon the main theorem of [S. Cano-Casanova, J. López-Gómez, Existence, uniqueness and blow-up rate of large solutions for a canonical class of one-dimensional problems on the half-line, J. Differential Equations 244 (2008) 3180-3203]. Precisely, we show that if Ω is a ball, or an annulus, fC[0,∞) is positive and non-decreasing, VC[0,∞)∩C2(0,∞) satisfies V(0)=0, V(u)>0, V(u)?0, for every u>0, and V(u)∼Hup−1 as u↑∞, for some H>0 and p>1, then, for each λ?0,

We give a constructive proof of existence to oscillatory solutions for the differential equations x(t)+a(t)λ|x(t)|sign[x(t)]=e(t), where t?t0?1 and λ>1, that decay to 0 when t→+∞ as O(tμ) for μ>0 as close as desired to the “critical quantity” . For this class of equations, we have limt→+∞E(t)=0, where E(t)<0 and E(t)=e(t) throughout [t0,+∞). We also establish that for any μ>μ? and any negative-valued E(t)=o(tμ) as t→+∞ the differential equation has a negative-valued solution decaying to 0 at + ∞ as o(tμ). In this way, we are not in the reach of any of the developments from the recent paper [C.H. Ou, J.S.W. Wong, Forced oscillation of nth-order functional differential equations, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 262 (2001) 722-732].  相似文献

The property (w) is a variant of Weyl's theorem, for a bounded operator T acting on a Banach space. In this note we consider the preservation of property (w) under a finite rank perturbation commuting with T, whenever T is polaroid, or T has analytical core K(λ0IT)={0} for some λ0C. The preservation of property (w) is also studied under commuting nilpotent or under injective quasi-nilpotent perturbations. The theory is exemplified in the case of some special classes of operators.  相似文献

Let (Mr)r?0 be a logarithmically convex sequence of positive numbers which verifies M0 = 1 as well as Mr ≥ 1 for every r ∈ ? and defines a non quasi - analytic class. Let moreover F be a closed proper subset of ?n. Then for every function f on ?n belonging to the non quasi - analytic (Mr)-class of Beurling type, there is an element g of the same class which is analytic on ?,n F and such that Dαf(x) = Dαg(x) for every α ∈ ?n0 and xF.  相似文献
