The complexes [Pt(tpp)] (H2tpp=tetraphenylporphyrin), [M(acac)2] (M=Pd, Pt, Hacac=acetylacetone), and [Pd(ba)2] (Hba=benzoylacetone) were co‐crystallized with highly electron‐deficient arene systems to form reverse arene sandwich structures built by π‐hole???[MII] (d8M=Pt, Pd) interactions. The adduct [Pt(tpp)]?2 C6F6 is monomeric, whereas the diketonate 1:1 adducts form columnar infinity 1D‐stack assembled by simultaneous action of both π‐hole???[MII] and C???F interactions. The reverse sandwiches are based on noncovalent interactions and calculated ESP distributions indicate that in π‐hole???[MII] contacts, [MII] plays the role of a nucleophile.  相似文献

The neutral compounds [Pt(bzq)(CN)(CNR)] (R=tBu ( 1 ), Xyl ( 2 ), 2‐Np ( 3 ); bzq= benzoquinolate, Xyl=2,6‐dimethylphenyl, 2‐Np=2‐napthyl) were isolated as the pure isomers with a trans‐Cbzq,CNR configuration, as confirmed by 13C{1H} NMR spectroscopy in the isotopically marked [Pt(bzq)(13CN)(CNR)] (R=tBu ( 1′ ), Xyl ( 2′ ), 2‐Np ( 3′ )) derivatives (δ13CCN≈110 ppm; 1J(Pt,13C)≈1425 Hz]. By contrast, complex [Pt(bzq)(C≡CPh)(CNXyl)] ( 4 ) with a trans‐Nbzq,CNR configuration, has been selectively isolated from [Pt(bzq)Cl(CNXyl)] (trans‐Nbzq,CNR) using Sonogashira conditions. X‐ray diffraction studies reveal that while 1 adopts a columnar‐stacked chain structure with Pt–Pt distances of 3.371(1) Å and significant π???π interactions (3.262 Å), complex 2 forms dimers supported only by short Pt???Pt (3.370(1) Å) interactions. In complex 4 the packing is directed by weak bzq???Xyl and bzq???C≡E (C, N) interactions. In solid state at room temperature, compounds 1 and 2 both show a bright red emission (?=42.1 % 1 , 57.6 % 2 ). Luminescence properties in the solid state at 77 K and concentration‐dependent emission studies in CH2Cl2 at 298 K and at 77 K are also reported for 1 , 1·CHCl3 , 2 , 2' , 2·CHCl3 , 3 , 4 .  相似文献

A solution of deprotonated 1,3‐bis(4‐bromophenyl)triazene reacts with Hg(CH3COO)2 in methanol / tetrahydrofurane to give yellow crystalline needles of {HgII[NNN(PhBr)2]2}n, a triazenide complex polymer of HgII with metal‐η22‐arene π‐interactions, performed by coordinated single triazenide chains. The crystal structure of the new polymeric complex of HgII belongs to the monoclinic space group P21/n. The lattice of [HgII(BrPhNNNPhBr)2]n can be viewed as a one‐dimensional assembling of planar tectons [HgII(BrPhNNNPhBr)2] linked through metalocene alike HgII‐η22‐arene π‐interactions along the crystallographic b axis.  相似文献

The σ‐hole of M2H6 (M = Al, Ga, In) and π‐hole of MH3 (M = Al, Ga, In) were discovered and analyzed, the bimolecular complexes M2H6···NH3 and MH3···N2P2F4 (M = Al, Ga, In) were constructed to carry out comparative studies on the group III σ‐hole interactions and π‐hole interactions. The two types of interactions are all partial‐covalent interactions; the π‐hole interactions are stronger than σ‐hole interactions. The electrostatic energy is the largest contribution for forming the σ‐hole and π‐hole interaction, the polarization energy is also an important factor to form the M···N interaction. The electrostatic energy contributions to the interaction energy of the σ‐hole interactions are somewhat greater than those of the π‐hole interactions. However, the polarization contributions for the π‐hole interactions are somewhat greater than those for the σ‐hole interactions. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献

The ligand 1,3‐bis[3‐oxo‐3‐(2‐hydroxyphenyl)propionyl]benzene (H4L), designed to align transition metals into tetranuclear linear molecules, reacts with MII salts (M=Ni, Co, Cu) to yield complexes with the expected [MM???MM] topology. The novel complexes [Co4L2(py)6] ( 2 ; py=pyridine) and [Na(py)2][Cu4L2(py)4](ClO4) ( 3 ) have been crystallographically characterised. The metal sites in complexes 2 and 3 , together with previously characterised [Ni4L2(py)6] ( 1 ), favour different coordination geometries. These have been exploited for the deliberate synthesis of the heterometallic complex [Cu2Ni2L2(py)6] ( 4 ). Complexes 1 , 2 , 3 and 4 exhibit antiferromagnetic interactions between pairs of metals within each cluster, leading to S=0 spin ground states, except for the latter cluster, which features two quasi‐independent S=1/2 moieties within the molecule. Complex 4 gathers the structural and physical conditions, thus allowing it to be considered as prototype of a two‐qbit quantum gate.  相似文献

The role of intramolecular metal???π‐arene interactions has been investigated in the solid‐state structures of a series of main group compounds supported by the bulky amide ligands, [N(tBuAr)(SiR3)]? (tBuAr=2,6‐(CHPh2)2‐4‐tBuC6H2, R=Me, Ph). The lithium and potassium amide salts showed different patterns of solvation and demonstrated that the SiPh3 substituent is able to be involved in stabilizing the electrophilic metal. These group 1 metal compounds served as ligand transfer reagents to access a series of bismuth(III) halides. Chloride extraction from Bi(N{tBuAr}{SiPh3})Cl2 using AlCl3 afforded the 1:1 salt [Bi(N{tBuAr}{SiPh3})Cl][AlCl4]. This was accompanied by a significant rearrangement of the stabilizing π‐arene contacts in the solid‐state. Attempted preparation of the corresponding tetraphenylborate salt resulted in phenyl‐transfer and generation of the neutral Bi(N{tBuAr}{SiPh3})(Ph)Cl.  相似文献

The cation of the title complex salt, chlorido{2,2‐dimethyl‐N‐[(E)‐1‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)ethylidene]propane‐1,3‐diamine}platinum(II) tetrafluoridoborate, [PtCl(C12H19N3)]BF4, exhibits a nominally square‐planar PtII ion coordinated to a chloride ion [Pt—Cl = 2.3046 (9) Å] and three unique N‐atom types, viz. pyridine, imine and amine, of the tridentate Schiff base ligand formed by the 1:1 condensation of 1‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)ethanone and 2,2‐dimethylpropane‐1,3‐diamine. The cations are π‐stacked in inversion‐related pairs (dimers), with a mean plane separation of 3.426 Å, an intradimer Pt...Pt separation of 5.0785 (6) Å and a lateral shift of 3.676 Å. The centroid (Cg) of the pyridine ring is positioned approximately over the PtII ion of the neighbouring cation (Pt...Cg = 3.503 Å).  相似文献

Preparation, Properties, and Molecular Structures of a Rigid Tridentate Chelate Ligand N, N′-Bis(diphenylphosphino)-2, 6-diaminopyridine with MII and M0 Transition Metals [MII = Ni, Pd, Pt; M0 = Cr, Mo, W] The reaction of chlorophenylphosphane and 2, 6-Diaminopyridine give N, N′-Bis-(diphenylphosphino)-2, 6-diaminopyridine (PNP). Two types of complexes [M(PNP)Cl]Cl · L (M = Ni, L = H2O; M = Pd, L = C2H5OH; M = Pt) and mer-[M(PNP)(CO)3] · 2 THF (M = Cr, Mo, W) have been prepared using PNP. These coordination compounds have been characterized by means of i.r., u.v., 31P and 1H n.m.r. measurements. The determination of the molecular structure of the two triclinic substances mer-[Mo(PNP)(CO)3] · 2 THF and [Ni(PNP)Cl]Cl · H2O show that the octahedral Mo(d6) and the square planar nickel (d8) compounds contain a nearly planar tridentate chelate ring system (two fused five-membered rings of the type ) in which the observed bond distances are in accordance with a π electron delocalization effect. The observed gram susceptibility of the diamagnetic Ni(d8) compound remains unchanged between 293 and 410 K. The relative activation property for a homogenous catalytic standard hydrogenation reaction of styrene to ethylbenzene decreases in series of catalysts of type [M(PNP)Cl]Cl · L with MII = Ni > Pd > Pt.  相似文献

The halogen bonding of furan???XY and thiophene???XY (X=Cl, Br; Y=F, Cl, Br), involving σ‐ and π‐type interactions, was studied by using MP2 calculations and quantum theory of “atoms in molecules” (QTAIM) studies. The negative electrostatic potentials of furan and thiophene, as well as the most positive electrostatic potential (VS,max) on the surface of the interacting X atom determined the geometries of the complexes. Linear relationships were found between interaction energy and VS,max of the X atom, indicating that electrostatic interactions play an important role in these halogen‐bonding interactions. The halogen‐bonding interactions in furan???XY and thiophene???XY are weak, “closed‐shell” noncovalent interactions. The linear relationship of topological properties, energy properties, and the integration of interatomic surfaces versus VS,max of atom X demonstrate the importance of the positive σ hole, as reflected by the computed VS,max of atom X, in determining the topological properties of the halogen bonds.  相似文献

Seven E[Cu(OR)2] copper(I) complexes (E=K+, {K(18C6)}+ (18C6=[18]crown‐6), or Ph4P+; R=C4F9, CPhMeF2, and CMeMeF2) have been prepared and their reactivity with O2 studied. The K[Cu(OR)2] species react with O2 in a copper‐concentration‐dependent manner such that 2:1 and 3:1 Cu/O2 adducts are observed manometrically at ?78 °C. Analogous reactivity with O2 is not observed with the {K(18C6)}+ or Ph4P+ derivatives. Solution conductivity data demonstrate that these K[Cu(OR)2] complexes do not behave as 1:1 electrolytes in solution. The K+ ions induce aggregation of multiple [Cu(OR)2]? units through K???F/O interactions and thereby effect irreversible O2 reduction by multiple Cu centers. Bond valence analyses for the potassium cations confirm the dominance of the fluorine interactions in the coordination spheres of K+ ions. Intramolecular hydroxylation of ligand aryl and alkyl C? H bonds is observed. Nucleophilic reactivity with CO2 is observed for the oxygenated Cu complexes and a CuII carbonate has been isolated and characterized.  相似文献

Low‐temperature (200 K) protonation of [Mo(CO)(Cp*)H(PMe3)2] ( 1 ) by Et2O ? HBF4 gives a different result depending on a subtle solvent change: The dihydrogen complex [Mo(CO)(Cp*)(η2‐H2)(PMe3)2]+ ( 2 ) is obtained in THF, whereas the tautomeric classical dihydride [Mo(CO)(Cp*)(H)2(PMe3)2]+ ( 3 ) is the only observable product in dichloromethane. Both products were fully characterised (νCO IR; 1H, 31P, 13C NMR spectroscopies) at low temperature; they lose H2 upon warming to 230 K at approximately the same rate (ca. 10?3 s?1), with no detection of the non‐classical form in CD2Cl2, to generate [Mo(CO)(Cp*)(FBF3)(PMe3)2] ( 4 ). The latter also slowly decomposes at ambient temperature. One of the decomposition products was crystallised and identified by X‐ray crystallography as [Mo(CO)(Cp*)(FH???FBF3)(PMe3)2] ( 5 ), which features a neutral HF ligand coordinated to the transition metal through the F atom and to the BF4? anion through a hydrogen bond. The reason for the switch in relative stability between 2 and 3 was probed by DFT calculations based on the B3LYP and M05‐2X functionals, with inclusion of anion and solvent effects by the conductor‐like polarisable continuum model and by explicit consideration of the solvent molecules. Calculations at the MP4(SDQ) and CCSD(T) levels were also carried out for calibration. The calculations reveal the key role of non‐covalent anion–solvent interactions, which modulate the anion–cation interaction ultimately altering the energetic balance between the two isomeric forms.  相似文献

The reaction of the N‐thiophosphorylated thiourea (HOCH2)(Me)2CNHC(S)NHP(S)(OiPr)2 (HL), deprotonated by the thiophosphorylamide group, with NiCl2 leads to green needles of the pseudotetrahedral complex [Ni(L‐1,5‐S,S′)2] ? 0.5 (n‐C6H14) or pale green blocks of the trans square‐planar complex trans‐[Ni(L‐1,5‐S,S′)2]. The former complex is stabilized by homopolar dihydrogen C?H???H?C interactions formed by n‐hexane solvent molecules with the [Ni(L‐1,5‐S,S′)2] unit. Furthermore, the dispersion‐dominated C?H??? H?C interactions are, together with other noncovalent interactions (C?H???N, C?H???Ni, C?H???S), responsible for pseudotetrahedral coordination around the NiII center in [Ni(L ‐1,5‐S,S′)2] ? 0.5 (n‐C6H14).  相似文献

The partial fluorination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons often produces a layered crystal packing, where fluorinated aromatic surfaces are stacked over nonfluorinated aromatic surfaces. Herein, we report the synthesis and crystal packing of partially fluorinated [4]helicenes with steric congestion resulting from H and F atoms in the fjord region. F6‐[4]Helicene forms head‐to‐tail columnar stacks consisting of an alternate arrangement of perfluorinated and nonfluorinated naphthalene moieties. With decreasing fluorine content, aromatic stacking switched from arene?fluoroarene (ArH?ArF) hetero‐stacking to ArH?ArH/ArF?ArF homo‐stacking with the help of intermolecular C?H???F contacts in the fjord region. As a result, head‐to‐head columnar stacks appear. Therefore, the conventional ArH?ArF stacking motif is not always applicable to Fn‐[4]helicenes with twisted π‐surfaces.  相似文献

The polyfluorinated title compounds, [M Cl2(C16H16F4N2O2)] or [4,4′‐(HCF2CH2OCH2)2‐2,2′‐bpy]M Cl2 [M = Pd, ( 1 ), and M = Pt, ( 2 )], have –C(Hα)2OC(Hβ)2CF2H side chains with H‐atom donors at the α and β sites. The structures of ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) are isomorphous, with the nearly planar (bpy)M Cl2 molecules stacked in columns. Within one column, π‐dimer pairs alternate between a π‐dimer pair reinforced with C—H…Cl hydrogen bonds (α,α) and a π‐dimer pair reinforced with C—Hβ…F(—C) interactions (abbreviated as C—Hβ…F—C,C—Hβ…F—C). The compounds [4,4′‐(CF3CH2OCH2)2‐2,2′‐bpy]M Cl2 [M = Pd, ( 3 ), and M = Pt, ( 4 )] have been reported to be isomorphous [Lu et al. (2012). J. Fluorine Chem. 137 , 54–56], yet with disorder in the fluorous regions. The molecules of ( 3 ) [or ( 4 )] also form similar stacks, but with alternating π‐dimer pairs between the (α,β; α,β) and (β,β) forms. Through (C—)H…Cl hydrogen‐bond interactions, one molecule of ( 1 ) [or ( 2 )] is expanded into an aggregate of two inversion‐related π‐dimer pairs, one pair in the (α,α) form and the other pair in the (C—Hβ…F—C,C—Hβ…F—C) form, with the plane normals making an interplanar angle of 58.24 (3)°. Due to the demands of maintaining a high coordination number around the metal‐bound Cl atoms in molecule ( 1 ) [or ( 2 )], the ponytails of molecule ( 1 ) [or ( 2 )] bend outward; in contrast, the ponytails of molecule ( 3 ) [or ( 4 )] bend inward.  相似文献

In contrast to cyclic π‐conjugated hydrocarbons, the coordination chemistry of inorganic heterocycles is less developed. Dicarbondiphosphides stabilized by N‐heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) NHC→C2P2←NHC ( 1 a , b ) (NHC=IPr or SIPr) contain a four‐membered C2P2 ring with an aromatic 6π‐electron configuration. These heterocycles coordinate to a variety of complex fragments with metals from groups 6, 9, and 10, namely [M0(CO)3] (M=Cr, Mo), [CoI(CO)2]+, or [NiIIBr2], through an η4‐coordination mode, leading to complexes 2 a , b , 3 a , b , 5 a , b , and 6 a , b , respectively. These complexes were characterized by X‐ray diffraction methods using single crystals, IR spectroscopy, and DFT calculations. In combination these methods indicate that 1 a , b behave as exceptionally strong 6π‐electron donors.  相似文献

Reactions of pyrimidine‐2‐thione (HpymS) with PdII/PtIV salts in the presence of triphenyl phosphine and bis(diphenylphosphino)alkanes, Ph2P‐(CH2)m‐PPh2 (m = 1, 2) have yielded two types of complexes, viz. a) [M(η2‐N, S‐ pymS)(η1‐S‐ pymS)(PPh3)] (M = Pd, 1 ; Pt, 2 ), and (b) [M(η1‐S‐pymS)2(L‐L)] {L‐L, M = dppm (m = 1) Pd, 3 ; Pt, 4 ; dppe (m = 2), Pd, 5 ; Pt, 6 }. Complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis (C, H, N), NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C, 31P), and single crystal X‐ray crystallography ( 1 , 2 , 4 , and 5 ). Complexes 1 and 2 have terminal η1‐S and chelating η2‐N, S‐modes of pymS, while other Pd/Pt complexes have only terminal η1‐S modes. The solution state 31P NMR spectral data reveal dynamic equilibrium for the complexes 3 , 5 and 6 , whereas the complexes 1 , 2 and 4 are static in solution state.  相似文献

Ligand Behaviour of P‐functional Organotin Halides: Nickel(II), Palladium(II), and Platinum(II) Complexes with Me2(Cl)SnCH2CH2PPh2 Me2(Cl)SnCH2CH2PPh2 ( 1 ) reacts with NiII, PdII, and PtII halides in molar ratio 2 : 1 forming the complexes [MX2{PPh2CH2CH2Sn(Cl)Me2}2] (M = Ni, Pd, Pt; X = Cl, Br) ( 3 – 6 , 9 , 10 ) ( 7 , 8 : M = Ni; Br instead of Cl). The nickel complexes were isolated and characterized both as the planar ( 3 , 5 , 7 ) and the tetrahedral ( 4 , 6 , 8 ) isomer. Crystal structure analyses and NMR data indicate for the planar nickel complexes 3 , 5 , 7 and [MCl2{PPh2CH2CH2Sn(Cl)Me2}2] ( 9 : M = Pd; 10 : M = Pt) the existence of intra and intermolecular M–Hal…Sn bridges. In a ligand : metal molar ratio of 3 : 1 the complexes [MéCl{PPh2CH2CH2SnCl2Me2}{PPh2CH2CH2Sn(Cl)Me2}2] ( 11 : M = Pd; 12 : M = Pt) are formed which represent intramolecular ion pairs. By dehalogenation of [PdCl2{PPh2CH2CH2Sn(Cl)Me2}2] ( 9 ) with sodium amalgam and graphite potassium (C8K), respectively, the palladacycles cis‐[Pd{PPh2CH2CH2SnMe2}2] ( 13 ) and trans‐[Pd(Cl)PPh2CH2CH2SnMe2{PPh2CH2CH2Sn(Cl)Me2}] ( 14 ) are formed. From the compounds 1 , 3 , 9 , 11 , and 12 the crystal structures are determined. All compounds are characterized by 1H, 31P, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Reaction of [PdClMe(P^N)2] with SnCl2 followed by Cl‐abstraction leads to apparent Pd?C bond activation, resulting in methylstannylene species trans‐[PdCl{(P^N)2SnClMe}][BF4] (P^N=diaryl phosphino‐N‐heterocycle). In contrast, reaction of Pt analogues with SnCl2 leads to Pt?Cl bond activation, resulting in methylplatinum species trans‐[PtMe{(P^N)2SnCl2}][BF4]. Over time, they isomerise to methylstannylene species, indicating that both kinetic and thermodynamic products can be isolated for Pt, whereas for Pd only methylstannylene complexes are isolated. Oxidative addition of RSnCl3 (R=Me, Bu, Ph) to M0 precursors (M=Pd or Pt) in the presence of P^N ligands results in diphosphinostannylene pincer complexes trans‐[MCl{(P^N)2SnCl(R)}][SnCl4R], which are structurally similar to the products from SnCl2 insertion. This showed that addition of RSnCl3 to M0 results in formal Sn?Cl bond oxidative addition. A probable pathway of activation of the tin reagents and formation of different products is proposed and the relevancy of the findings for Pd and Pt catalysed processes that use SnCl2 as a co‐catalyst is discussed.  相似文献

In the course of our investigations on polymetallic complexes derived from 1,3‐bis(thiophosphinoyl)indene (Ind(Ph2P?S)2), we observed original fluxional behavior and report herein a joint experimental/computational study of this dynamic process. Starting from the indenylidene chloropalladate species [Pd{Ind(Ph2P?S)2}Cl]? ( 1 ), the new PdII???RhI hetero‐bimetallic pincer complex [PdCl{Ind(Ph2P?S)2}Rh(nbd)] ( 2 ; nbd=2,5‐norbornadiene) was prepared. X‐ray crystallography and DFT calculations substantiate the presence of a d8???d8 interaction. According to multinuclear variable‐temperature NMR spectroscopic experiments, the pendant {Rh(nbd)} fragment of 2 readily shifts in solution at room temperature between the two edges of the SCS tridentate ligand. To assess the role of the pincer‐based polymetallic structure on this fluxional behavior, the related monometallic Rh complex [Rh{IndH(Ph2P?S)2}(nbd)] ( 3 ) was prepared. No evidence for a metal shift was observed in that case, even at high temperature, thus indicating that inplane pincer coordination to the Pd center plays a crucial role. The previously described PdII???IrI bimetallic complex 4 exhibited fluxional behavior in solution, but with a significantly higher activation barrier than 2 . This finding demonstrates the generality of this metal‐shift process and the strong influence of the involved metal centers on the associated activation barrier. DFT calculations were performed to shed light onto the mechanism of such metal‐shift processes and to identify the factors that influence the associated activation barriers. Significantly different pathways were found for bimetallic complexes 2 and 4 on one hand and the monometallic complex 3 on the other hand. The corresponding activation barriers predicted computationally are in very good agreement with the experimental observations.  相似文献
